Diffuse-type giant cell tumor is relatively rare than localized giant cell tumor. Moreover, diffuse type giant cell tumor is common in intraarticular area, rarely occurs at intramuscular or subcutaneous layer. We experienced 1 case of giant cell tumor within the deltoid muscle. So we report this case with review of the literatures.

Traumatic dislocation of the peroneus longus tendon is an often unrecognized injury which has been reported to occur most commonly during sports activity. Most acute cases with early detection can be treated by simple repair of the tendon or retinaculum using one of several procedures available. Accurate treatment through a comprehensive evaluation of the ankle injury prevents suboptimal and sometimes unrecorrectable outcomes. The authors experienced concomitantly the peroneus longus tendon dislocation associated with a trimalleolar fracture of the ankle. We report this case a brief review of the literature.

Surgical treatments for arthritis in the first metatarsophalangeal joint include arthrodesis, interposition arthroplasty using silicone or meniscus cartilage, and rarely arthroplasty. Although arthrodesis was performed successfully, pain can persist if the angle of fusion was inappropriate. Interposition arthroplasty can be tried for the treatment of persisting pain after the arthrodesis. Interposition arthroplasty using tensor fascia lata is known that has low risk of adhesions and easy to harvest. Compared to autologous grafts, grafting rates is high and low risk of rejection additionally. Herein, we report a successfully managed arthritis with severe pain with interposition arthroplasty using tensor fascia lata after a failed metatarsophalangeal joint arthrodesis.

Radial nerve palsy after surgery of humerus fracture is uncommon complication. Occasionally it needs operative treatment because of difficulty to accurate evaluation. We report this case of radial nerve palsy after surgery of humerus shaft fracture with ultrasound examination. We checked the continuity of radial nerve and radial nerve palsy was complete recovered with conservative treatment.

Bilateral clavicle fractures caused by a strong external force acting at the same time is a rare case. While unilateral clavicle fracture with conservative treatment shows satisfactory clinical outcome, bilateral clavicle fractures with it has drawbacks such as severe pain, difficulty in rehabilitation and breathing. We experienced a rare case of bilateral clavicle fractures with multiple rib fractures, hemo-thorax and transverse process fracture of thoracic vertebra treated with surgical intervention promoted functional recovery and comfortable breathing. So, we report this case with article review.

We evaluated biceps pulley as a stabilizing sling for the long head of biceps tendon in the rotator interval. We present 3 cases of detached biceps pulley which impinges on posterosuperior glenoid labrum in the position of late cocking. Pulley impingement related to anterior shoulder instability was relieved after Bankart repair. In another two cases, impingement symptoms were disappeared after resection of the detached biceps pulley.

The medial meniscal root tear is relatively common internal derangement of knee that is occurred in middle age without trauma. We experienced a case of traumatic medial meniscal root tear in 11 years old child and repaired it with a metallic suture anchor. Thus we report this case with a review of current literature.

Avulsion fractures of the intercondylar eminence of the tibia are uncommon. This kind of fracture is most commonly found in adolescents, with an increasing incidence for those involved in competitive athletics. Recently, an arthroscopic procedure is preferred to reduce the operation-related morbidity. Screws, K-wires, Suture anchor have been described as fixation devices. Cannulated screw fixation is a simple method, but this instrument has the risk of causing damage to the growth plate. The authors report good results using cannulated screw in arthroscopic treatment for pediatric anterior cruciate ligament avulsion fracture.

Many types of meniscal anomalies have been reported. The authors encountered one case of anomalous insertion of the anterior horn of the medial meniscus to the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus, which ran up along the course of the transverse ligament. This anomalous band was detected in MRI of the knee as a horizontal tear of anterior horn of the lateral meniscus but found during the operation as a anomalous insertion of the anterior horn of the medial meniscus. We report the case with a review of the literature.

Pretibial cyst formation is a rare complication after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and there are only few cases reported. Pretibial cyst can be caused by variable reasons. Foreign body reaction due to breakdown of bio-absorbable screw for fixation, graft necrosis at tibial site, joint fluid leakage to tunnel and incomplete incorporation of graft to bony tunnel. The authors experienced one case of massive pretibial cyst after arthroscopic ACL reconstruction using bio-absorbable interference screw in 38-year-old male patient. Thus, authors report this rare case with literature view.
