압접 커넥터 CAE 적용 휨 변형 원인 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Bend Deformation Cause Analysis of CAE Applied Wire to Board Connectors)

  • Connectors are very important components that transmit electric signals to different parts. It must maintain intensity of the connector to prevent defects from impact and maintain contact to transmit electric signals. Most of the external parts of the connector, which act as the main framework, are formed by injection molding. However, bend deformation occurs for injection molded products due to the residual stress left inside the product after product molding. When the bend deformation is large, it does not come into complete contact when being assembled with other parts, which leads to connector contact intensity not being properly maintained. In result, the main role of the connector, which is to transmit electric signals, cannot be performed. In order to address this problem, this study conducted bend deformation cause analysis through bend deformation analysis to predict and prevent bend deformation of housings and wafers, which are injection molded products of pressure welded connectors that are normally applied in compact mobile and display products. Bend deformation analysis was carried out by checking the charging time, pressure distribution and temperature distribution through wire to board connector wafer and housing injection molding analysis. Based on the results of the bend deformation analysis results, the cause of the bend deformation was analyzed through deformation resulting from disproportional cooling, deformation resulting from disproportional contraction, and deformation resulting from ingredient orientation. In result, it was judged that the effects for bend deformation were biggest due to disproportional contraction for both the pressure welded connector wafer and housing.

영상처리 기법을 이용한 자동차부품의 자동검사시스템 개발 (Automated Inspection System Using Image Processing Technology for Automotive Components)

  • 이 논문은 영상처리기법을 이용하여 자동차 엔진 조림공정에 대한 통합적인 자동검사시스템의 개발에 관한 연구이다. 본 시스템은 머신비전에 의한 검사데이터를 통계적 공정관리시스템으로 직접 입력이 가능하며, 이러한 특성은 품질 이상이나 공정에 문제가 발생하였을 때 즉각적인 수정 조치가 가능한 기술이다. 검사부분에 대한 영상처리는 PC 내부에 설치되어 있는 IVP-150 머신비전 보드에 의하여 이루어지며, 품질요소를 정확히 확인하기 위해 템플리트 매칭 기술이 적용되었다. 본 시스템을 생산현장에 적용한 결과, 잡음이나 영상의 삐뚤어짐 흑은 방향성 등의 문제에도 적응력이 강함이 입증되었다.

  • A very simple control approach using neural network for the robust position control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) is presented The linear quadratic controller plus feedforward neural network is employed to obtain the robust PMSM system approximately linearized using field-orientation method for an AC servo. The neural network is trained in on-line phases and this neural network is composed by a fedforward recall and error back-propagation training. Since the total number of nodes are only eight this system can be easily realized by the general microprocessor. During the normal operation the input-output response is sampled and the weighting value is trained multi-times by error back-propagation method at each sample period to accommodate the possible variations in the parameters or load torque. And the state space analysis is performed to obtain the state feedback gains systematically. IN addition the robustness is also obtained without affecting overall system response. This method is realized by a floating-point Digital Singal Processor DS1102 Board (TMS320C31) The basic DSP software is used to write C program which is compiled by using ANSI-C style function prototypes.

분산영상 매칭을 이용한 소형 쿼드콥터의 실내 비행 위치인식과 자율비행 (Position Recognition and Indoor Autonomous Flight of a Small Quadcopter Using Distributed Image Matching)

  • We consider the problem of autonomously flying a quadcopter in indoor environments. Navigation in indoor settings poses two major issues. First, real time recognition of the marker captured by the camera. Second, The combination of the distributed images is used to determine the position and orientation of the quadcopter in an indoor environment. We autonomously fly a miniature RC quadcopter in small known environments using an on-board camera as the only sensor. We use an algorithm that combines data-driven image classification with image-combine techniques on the images captured by the camera to achieve real 3D localization and navigation.

프랭크 로이드 라이트의 유소니언 주택의 생태적 특성 (Ecological Characteristics of Usonian Houses of Frank Lloyd Wright)

  • This study aims at exploring the characteristics of the Usonian houses of Frank Lloyd Wright from an ecological viewpoint. After considering the definition and application of ecological architecture through literature review, 28 Usonian houses were selected and analyzed for the study. Also, nine Usonian houses, which clearly have ecological and historical importance, were visited and more thoroughly analyzed. The result shows that Usonian houses are ecological in terms of 1) the relationship among nature, landscape and house, 2) the orientation, natural light and natural ventilation, 3) the use of natural local materials including wood, stones and bricks, 4) the use of floor heating (the On-dol system inKorea), 5) the human scale, 6) the use of the board and batten unit (an early system of prefabrication), and 7) the openness and flexibility of floor plans.

영상처리기법에 의한 실시간 엔진 품질검사시스템 (Real Time Engine Quality Inspection System by Image Processing)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop an integrated quality inspection system using machine vision technology in the automotive engine assembly process. The system makes it possible for the inspected data to be entered directly from the machine vision system into the developed system without the need for intermediate operations. Such direct entry enables prompt corrective actions against process problems. An IVP-150 machine vision board is installed an the PC for image processing, and a template matching technology is implemented to precisely verify quality factors. The developed system is successfully installed in a manufacturing process, and it showed robustness to the problems of noise, distortion, and orientation.

  • Flexural resistance evaluation of FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) was performed according to the grain size of rolled copper foil by adding 0.1wt% silver (Ag) and electrodeposited copper foil by slitting method after heat-treatment. These methods are aimed at enhancing the flexural durability of the FFC by growing the grain size of copper foil. By increasing the grain size of the copper foil and minimizing the miss-orientation at grain boundaries, the residual stress at the grain boundaries of the copper foil is reduced and the durability of the FFC is improved. Maximizing an average grain size of copper foil can be got a good solution in order to enhance the durability of the FFC or FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board).

Compatibility of the Direction Sign on the Pendant Switch of Overhead Cranes

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to suggest the standard of the direction sign on the pendant switch of overhead cranes which can reduce human errors in control. Background: A great number of crane accidents occur in industries. One of the major causes of the accidents is the mistake in the control of cranes by confusing the orientation of crane movements. Nevertheless, three different direction sign styles, 'East, West, South, North (EWSN)', 'Forward, Backward, Left, Right (FBLR)', and arrows for four directions are used without standardization. Method: An overhead crane simulator was installed for a laboratory experiment. It could move along six directions by the control of a pendant switch. 90 participants were evenly assigned to the three different conditions of direction sign styles. The participants were asked to control the pendant switch according to the continuously appearing 16 direction signs on a monitor ahead. The participants were allowed to refer an orientation sign board on the ceiling representing correct movement directions of the overhead crane simulator. Results: The direction sign style, 'EWSN', showed statistically significant better performance in task completion time and number of errors than the other sign styles. The direction sign style, 'EWSN', adopting the cardinal direction system, made the participants clear in direction controls after customizing to the crane movements. However, the direction sign styles, 'FBLR' and the arrows adopting the relative direction system made conflicts in direction controls due to the egocentric view of human. Conclusion: The direction sign style, 'EWSN', is the most appropriate for the standardization of the direction sign on the pendant switch of overhead cranes. Application: The results of this study can be applied to the standardization of direction sign in the legal notification on the safety certifications of crane manufacturing.

유도전동기 직접토크제어를 위한 새로운 퍼지 가변 스위칭섹터 기법 (New Fuzzy Variable Switching Sector Technique for DTC on Induction Motor Drives)

  • 직접토크제어 기법은 벡터제어계 설계 및 운전시 요구되는 복잡한 좌표변환과 전류제어루프가 불필요하며, 빠른 토크응답을 얻을 수 있기 때문에 벡터제어 기법에 버금가는 유도전동기의 고성능 제어기법으로 인정되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 직접토크제어 기법 적용시 중요한 어려움의 하나로 지적되고 있는 저속영역에서의 자속저하 및 이로 인한 전류고조파의 증가 문제를 해결하기 위한 대책으로서 퍼지 가변 스위칭섹터 기법과 이 기법의 실시간 적용을 위한 실현방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 스위칭섹터 기법을 포함한 유도전동기 제어시스템의 실험적 성능을 고찰하기 위하여 DSP를 이용한 제어보드를 제작하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실험 결과는 제안된 퍼지 가변스위칭 섹터 기법을 도입함으로서 유도전동기 드라이브의 성능이 현저히 개선됨을 보여준다.

에지 특징을 이용한 디스플레이 패널 설비의 얼라인 시스템 (Alignment System for Display Panel using Edge Feature)

  • 본 논문은 에지 특징을 이용한 얼라인 시스템을 제안한다. 얼라인 시스템은 PCB나 LCD 패널 등에 새겨진 기준 마크(fiducial mark)를 통하여 위치 정보를 획득한다. 그러므로 획득한 영상에서 정확하게 기준 마크를 찾는 것이 얼라인 시스템 성능의 지표가 된다. 에지 특성은 위치, 길이, 형태 등의 기하학적 특징을 지니며 이런 특징은 기준 마크를 찾기 위해 적절하고, 밝기의 변화, 크기 및 각도의 변화에 강한 특성을 지닌다. X, Y 축 이동 및 회전 할 수 있는 장비와 소프트웨어을 이용한 얼라인먼트 실험을 통하여 제안한 시스템의 성능을 검증하였다.
