Objectives : The present study introduces the clinical application of Hamstring Chuna Manual Therapy to a patient who underwent the pain after spinal fusion. Methods : A patient who had the pain after spinal fusion was hospitalized at Bucheon Jaseng hospital of Oriental Medicine for 35 days. During the hospital treatment, the pain was relieved by Hamstring Chuna Manual Therapy. The improvement of the patient was measured by VAS(Visual Analogue Scale) score, SLR(Straight-Leg Raising) test, and walking distance. Results : The values of the patient's VAS score, SLR test, and walking distance measured before and after Hamstring Chuna Manual Therapy presented that the pain was relieved after Hamstring Chuna Manual Therapy. Conclusions : Therefore, this case demonstrates that Hamstring Chuna Manual Therapy is effective treatment method for relieving pain in the spine.

Phototherapy have perpetual history, we can see an instance of it in Yellow Emperor's Conon of Medicine(黃帝內經) and Laser therapy is a field of Phototherapy being used frequently in the latest time. We treated patients with telangiectasia by laser therapy and experimented it's efficacy and studied the means of clinical application in Korean medicine. We report the capabilities of application of laser therapy, based on Korean medical theories by using resemblance between laser therapy with kyung-rak(經絡) control technique in the line that connects with the past.

We researched two patients with ear fullness after traffic accident. We diagnosed the patients' symptom as referred pain caused by clavicle branch of sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle. So, acupunture therapy and SCENAR therapy were used to treat the patients. We measured their discomfort by visual anlog scale (VAS) before and after treatment. As a result, the patients improved remarkably and VAS score was declined sharply when we applied acupuncture therapy and SCENAR therapy on clavicle branch of SCM. Therefore, we are certain that ear fullness can be caused by clavicle branch of SCM after traffic accident. It shows dramatical and satisfactory progress by acupuncture therapy and SCENAR therapy to relax shortening of clavicle branch of SCM.

Objective : This study is designed to evaluate the effects of an oriental medical therapy, the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy on symptom of Panic disorder. Method : The clinical data was analyzed on a patient with Panic disorder whose main symptoms were palpitation, perpirtion, hydrodipsomania, chest pain, burning sensation. Result : After treatment, the patient's main symptoms were disappeared and secondary symptoms were improved. Conclusion : This study suggests that the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy is significantly effective in treatment of Panic disorders.

Objective : This study reports the effect of oriental medicine with depletion and cupping therapy on post-herpetic neuralgia(PHN) 1 case. Methods : We experienced one case of PHN treated by oriental medical treatment with depletion and cupping therapy. To evaluate the effectiveness of this treatment, we used the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). Result : After the treatment the grade of VAS was decreased and clinical symptoms were improved. Conclusion : Oriental medicine with depletion and cupping therapy can be available for relieving symptoms related with PHN.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to introduce oriental medicine music therapy during the acupuncture of pathogenic fire. Methods : We investigated the acupuncture points of pathogenic fire and the methodology of oriental medicine music therapy. Results : During the acupuncture of pathogenic fire, patients listen to proper music and after withdrawing of acupuncture, patients play the musical instrument. The patients with the case of fire due to affection by exopathogen, the method of dispelling superficial fire can be used through playing percussion instruments. The case of patients with the fire of five organ, the Five Phases music can be used properly. Conclusions : This study describes oriental medicine music therapy has a good possibility as a treatment of pathogenic fire with acupuncture.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of the burning acupuncture therapy and exercise therapy on the internal derangement of knee with patella tendon and posterior cruciate ligament injury. Methods: Burning acupuncture therapy was administered three times and exercise therapy was administered during 4 weeks. The improvement of clinical symptom was evaluated by VAS(visual analogue scale) and KOOS(knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score). Results: After treatment, the patient's VAS score was reduced to 0 pant. The KOOS score of pain, symptom, ADL, sport/rec, QOL(quality of life) improved from 28 to 75, from 36 to 71, from 22 to 65, from 0 to 15, from 25 to 38 respectively. Conclusions: Burning acupuncture therapy and exercise therapy fer internal derangement of knee with patella tendon and posterior cruciate ligament injury was effective. Although this case presented valuable result, further research is encouraged to confirm the effectiveness of this treatment with large number of patient.

A literature study on oncological immune therapy was done, and the results were as follows. 1. Oncological immune therapy is classified as specific non specific therapy or active inactive therapy, and in tumor immune response, cellular immunity operates mainly, so activity of T lymphocytes and macrophages are closely related with growth, progress, metastasis and prospect of tumor. Recently, Immune therapies of gene which use cytokines and HLA-B7 are carrying out. 2. In oriental medicine, development of disease is closely related to up and down of healthy qi, so healthy qi operates as a immune factor and resistance factor. 3. On the base of theory "Increasing healthy qi reduces mass(養正則積自除)", strengthening body resistance is emphasized in cancer therapy. Also strengthening body resistance activates cellular immune response and promote killing tumor facility of T-cell. 4. In clinical view, using immune therapy after operation, radiation, and chemotheraphy is more effective than immune therapy itself, so it is expected that east-west cooperation will be effective in cancer therapy. 5. The study of oncological immunity is progressed on emphasizing T-cell and it is related to oriental medical theory "strengthening healthy qi to eliminate pathogen(扶定祛邪)" and advanced study is expected in future.

Purpose - Several previous studies have been completed on oriental art therapy's impact on problem-solving and innovation in business workers. However, there is a definite research gap in how it reduces stress within the impacts oriental art therapy on business workers. Therefore, this research will be significant in finding out what oriental art therapy has reduced work-related stress and increased satisfaction among business workers. Research design, data, and methodology - For this research, the dependent variable was the significance of oriental art therapy, and the dependent variable was reducing work-related stress and increasing the satisfaction of business workers. The study's hypothesis was oriental art therapy reduces work-related stress and increases the satisfaction of business workers. A quantitative quasi-experimental pilot design was the most appropriate for this study. Result - This research figured out that the art therapy affect significantly reducing work-related stress among business workers, removing the level of anxiety, improving employee's feeling, and so leading to improvement in communication and collaboration each other in the organization. Conclusion - The results of the investigation imply that oriental art therapy can significantly improve the workers' satisfaction in a business. The research shows how successfully some of the interventions introduced in the medical supply company fully transformed the workers' lives.

Objective : The aim of this was to investigate the effect of warming acupuncture therapy on patients who had suffered from low back pain. Methods : The 42 person who had hospitalized in Jaseng hospital were rendomized into two groups. We treated 22 persons by warming acupuncture on every other day. The others were treated by only traditional acupuncture therapy alone. VAS(Visual Analogue Scale), ODI(Oswestry Disability Index) and the angle of SLR(Straight Leg Raising test) were measured on each week from admission for four weeks. Results : 1. Sample group showed significantly more improvement than control group at 3 weeks in ODI score. 2. Sample group showed significantly more improvement than control group at 2 weeks in VAS score. 3. The angle of SLR test was not significantly different between two groups, but there was a tendency of increasing on sample group. Conclusions : According to above results, warming acupuncture therapy was more effective on the treatment of low back pain than general oriental medical therapy without it.
