Objectives : The purpose of this study IS to evaluate the effect of burning acupuncture therapy on the sacroihac Joint syndrome. Methods : This study was carried out on the 1 patient with sacroihac Joint syndrome Subject was treated by acupuncture, negative, burning acupuncture therapy Lumbar ROM and Visual Analog Scale(VAS) were evaluated before and during treatment. Results and Conclusions : VAS was improved 10 to 2 and lumbar Rom was improved In the study, burning acupuncture therapy was effective 10 sacroihac joint syndrome.

Objectives: This case report presents a 29-years-old male patient. His chief complaint was insomnia, anxiety and chest discomfort. We diagnosed him with sleep disorder. During the therapeutic period, he experienced temporary improvement. Methods: We treated him with emotional freedom techniques(EFT), giungoren-therapy. Also, acupuncture and chuna therapy were accessorily practiced. The effects of treatment were measured by Beck depression inventory(BDI), state-trait anxiety inventory(STAI), insomnia severity index(ISI). Results: After treatment, the chief complaint have been subsided and improved. But, BDI, STAI, ISI score were not remarkably decreased. Conclusions: This result suggests that EFT and giungoren-therapy might be effective for sleep disorder patient with anxiety.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of the fire needling therapy treatment on the biceps tendinitis. Methods : Fire needling therapy was administered five times to the patient complaining with biceps tendinitis. The improvement of clinical symptom was evaluated by McGill Pain Questionnaire -Short Form(SF-MPQ), Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and Shoulder Pain, and Disability Index (SPADI). Result : After fire needling therapy to the biceps tendinitis patient five times, the patient's SF-MPQ score, VAS, and SPADI improved from 24 to 11, from 9 to 4, and from 33.6 to 14.8 respectively. Conclusions : Fire needling for biceps tendinitis should be tested in future randomized clinical trials.

Objectives : This report was performed to observe the effects of bloodletting therapy on the rhinitis patients. Methods : 2 patients with rhinitis were treated by bloodletting therapy. We evaluated the pre-and post-treatment symptoms by NRS(numbering rating scale) and TNSS(total nasal symptom score). Results : After treatment, the symptoms of rhinitis and NRS were decreased and TNSS was improved. Conclusions : Bloodletting therapy in nasal cavity is effective to Rinitis.

Objective : Several kinds of food could be materia medica within food-therapy in oriental medicine. "Sikryochanyo" is a book about food-therapy totally. So there are many kinds of food are treated as materia medica. Method : Finding out cases of food-therapy with chicken in "Sikryochanyo" Result : In "Sikryochanyo", there were many ways of food-therapy with chiken. Chicken was treated as materia medica even though it was a forbidden food when someone got sik especially with fever because of the effects. Conclusion : On several types such as parts, colors, methods to make, of chicken, there are plenty of usage with its own effectiveness.

Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) is a group of autoimmune syndromes consisting of demyelinating and acute axonal degenerating forms of the disease. Typically, Gullain-Barre syndrome can be diagnosed from the patient's symptoms and physical examination such as the rapid onset of weakness, paralysis and loss of reflexes. In most patients, resolution is complete or near complete. Treatment consists of supportive care, ventilatory management (in about one third of patients), and specific therapy with intravenous immunoglobulin or plasmapheresis. This clinical report is about suspected acute severe Guillain-Barre syndrome patient, 61-year-old man had quadriplegia, facial palsy, dysphasia, respiratory failure. After 5 weeks of East-West integrative medicine therapy - Conventional Conservative therapy(plasmaphresis and intravenous immunoglobulin) and Korean traditional medicine(Sasang medicine and acupuncture treatment) - most symptoms improved.

Scrub typhus is a acute febrile illness by Orientia tsutsugamushi that is endemic in Asian-Pacific areas. It is characterized by fever, rash, eschar, lymphadenopathy. Therapy with Tetracycline, Doxycycline, Chloramphenicol is currently recommended. Here we report a case of tsutsugamushi disease in a 66 year old man had fever, nausea, vommitting, dyspnea, who was successfully treated with East-West intergrative medicine therapy - Antibiotics therapy and Korean traditional medicine(Sasang medicine and acupuncture treatment) - and symptoms improved.

Objectives : This study is designed to evaluate the effectiveness of muscle energy techniques and acupuncture therapy on patients with idiopathic lumbar scoliosis. Methods : We have investigated 3 patients with idiopathic lumbar scoliosis, used muscle energy techniques and acupuncture therapy, measured Cobb's angle before and after treatment. Results : After treatment, One case, the L-spine Cobb's angle correctability was 62.74%, another case was 34.66%, the other case was 45.50%. Conclusions : These results suggest that muscle energy techniques and acupuncture therapy was effective treatment on patients with idiopathic lumbar scoliosis.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of Dong-si acupuncture therapy and General acupuncture therapy for the patients with acute ankle sprain. Methods : This study has been carried out for 60 cases of ankle sprain patients who have visited Dong-Seo Oriental medical Hospital from May 1, 2002 to September 30, 2002. We have treated 30 cases of them by Dong-si acupuncture therapy and the other 30 cases by General acupuncture therapy. And we have compared those two group. Results : 1. There was no significant difference at the treatment period and the number of treatment times in comparing two groups. 2. The number of treatment times for good effect is that : Dong-si took $1.57{\pm}0.85$ times and General acupuncture therapy took $2.15{\pm}0.96$ times. And we have found that the effect of Dong-si acupuncture therapy is faster than the other.

We are made a comparison between 12 meridian tendino-musculature and myofascial/locomotor anatomy in which the bodywide connections among the muscles within the fascial net. We consider that these unique 'whole systems' view is of vital importance to understanding the role of fascial in normal movement and postural distortion and to application of manual and movement therapy.
