  • This study aims to face common threats from the depletion of fish resources, the decline of production and employment as well as the increase of life risk in East Sea Rim countries, North Korea, South Korea, Japan and Russia due to the Chinese fishing fleets entering East Sea. The recent competition in fishing among fishing vessels and fleets of national origin operating in the East Sea has induced a significant change in the ecological landscape of the fishing fleets cluster while having influenced production and employment in the fishing industries of South Korea and Japan as well as life threat on the fishermen in North Korea. It seems that the population organizational ecological theory can be applied to this change. It can be seen as the isomorphism of the selection process over the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) to avoid the environment in which these North Korean fishing vessels are pushed against the Chinese fleet in the North Korean part of the East Sea. To resolve the fishery disputes or conflict in the common waters in East Sea, first of all, Chinese fishing fleets will be required to put international pressure so as to solve the unfairness of the illegal fishing and overfishing by the International Fishery Organization or the UN violations of the sanctions against North Korea selling fishing rights to China. Although it is not easy for South Korea to cooperate with North Korea in the short term, South Korea will be able to support the fishery infrastructure in North Korea in the mid- to the long-term to prevent the loss of innocent lives for their fishermen and to raise their incomes.

Industrial control system(ICS) is vital components of most nation's critical infrastructures such as electricity, natural gas, water, waste treatment, transportation and communication that are based of national security, safety of citizen and development of national economy According to the change of business environment, organizational management pushed integration all of the system include MIS and ICS. This situation led to use standard information technologies for ICS, this transition has been to expose ICS to the same vulnerabilities and threats that plague business system. Recently government obliged owners of the public information system to audit for safety, efficiency and effectiveness, and also obliged the owners of national infrastructure to improve their system security as a result of vulnerability analysis. But there doesn't prepare a security architecture and information security auditing framework of ICS fur auditing. In this paper, I suggested the security architecture and information security auditing framework for ICS in order to prepare the base of industrial system security auditing.

  • The current formal and memorized design repetition training and practice is wandering in the uniform flat design thinking expression. To change these two-dimensional current issues into a three-dimensional design method, set the direction for each grade level under the integrated convergence educational goal and carry out projects step by step to understand design, the principle of spatial composition, the introduction of traditional design history, and the overall design of craft design. Creative and practical skills such as approach should be cultivated. Designers can only be produced through systematic education and training. In order to lead society and succeed, a designer who has experienced solutions and countermeasures on how to adapt themselves to the demands of various changes in the times must come to the field. Education experts insisted on innovation of the organizational structure and subject of the education system, and emphasized the importance of education in response to the rapid pace of change in the 21st century. This study aims to propose an educational system that combines academic research with a structural approach to tasks by setting a project that reflects the needs of society for convergence practice in which design and adjacent disciplines are linked through understanding and analysis of these issues.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify the factors of shocking events in the career aspect experienced by Korean workers in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, and to find out whether these career shocks affect individual perceptions of the importance of subjective career success. Design/methodology/approach - In the survey of 146 respondents, the career shock events experienced in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic were largely divided into three categories; 'work change', 'employment anxiety', and 'life anxiety'. For the subjective career success, seven dimensions - 'financial security', 'financial achievement', 'entrepreneurship', 'positive relationship', 'positive impact', 'learning and development', 'work-life balance' - were used. Findings - As a result, there was no difference in the perception of subjective career success due to the experience of 'work change' during the Covid-19 period. However, the respondents who experienced 'employment anxiety' came to recognize that 'financial security' and 'financial achievement' were more increasing in terms of the degree of difference of importance. And respondents who experienced 'lifetime anxiety' perceived that the degree of difference of importance was increasing in the six dimensions except for 'social influence'. Particularly, the increase in the importance of 'work-life balance' and 'positive relationship' was found to be the greatest among the career success dimensions. Research implications or Originality - Finally, it was concluded that changes in the external environment such as Covid-19 pandemic influence as a career shock and affect the level of importance in subjective career success perception. Based on the results, the theoretical implication on current career study and some practical implications for organizational career management were suggested.

  • This study clarified a complicated cause-and-effect relationship about the manpower utilization of container terminals. This paper conducted confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling using 5 factors: technology development, safety and security change, external environment, terminal operation, and organizational culture that have been derived in the first study(2021). The results imply that technology development and external environment have a direct effect while terminal operation and safety and security change have indirect effect on a manpower utilization of container terminals. Based on these results, this paper may provide various policy implications for port operators, developers, and managers.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with the mental health-related quality of life (MHQoL) of Korean workers. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study of 192 Korean pay workers who worked in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province, Korea. Data were collected from May 15 to July 2, 2019, through selfreported questionnaires. The survey had a total of 87 questions including individual, organizational, and psychosocial factors. MHQoL was measured using short form-36 version 1. Data were divided into four domains of MHQoL and analyzed using a hierarchical linear regression model. Results: From the hierarchical linear regression analysis, when the psychosocial factors were included in the regression model, the R2 change in the four domains of MHQoL increased significantly by 19~47%. A common predicting factor associated with the four domains of MHQoL was identified as perceived stress symptoms. Other factors affecting MHQoL showed slight differences in each domain. Conclusion: Based on the study results, it is necessary to monitor the psychosocial symptoms to improve MHQoL of Korean workers. Considering each factor affecting the four areas of MHQoL, workplace-based interventions to improve MHQoL should be provided to workers.

  • Faced with tougher competition in global, organizations are pressured to improve organizational productivity, including information systems(IS) departments. Especially related to IS, trying to remain competitive and up-to-date in rapidly changing world is becoming a financial burden to many organizations. Through outsourcing, organizations can provide better services and acquire and maintain a competitive advantage. In recent years IS outsourcing related researches have appeared in trade and academic literature. However the research on accounting information systems(AIS) outsourcing is very little or limited. This study attempts to empirically test the relationship between determinant factors and the degree of accounting information systems outsourcing as well as the relationship between success factors and the interactions between the degree of accounting information systems outsourcing and outsourcing success. Based on the previous studies on IS outsourcing and its related theories, determinant factors(transaction characteristic, resource performance, and risk dependence) and success factors(monitor, participation, and vendor capability) were identified and their measures were developed. Empirical results demonstrate that the change in the degree of AIS outsourcing is determined by the specificity of accounting information asset, uncertainty, the effect of internal AIS, AIS cost-effectiveness, and cost increase risks, and that monitor and vendor capability are implementation factors determining the degree of outsourcing success.
