시스템 다이내믹스 기법을 활용한 고위험 조직 사고 사례 분석 (Cases Study of Accidents in High Risk Organizations by System Dynamics)

  • The importance of the concept of safety culture has increased in the security of high-risk facility after Chernobyl accident in 1986. This paper elaborated the concept of safety culture and its main factors by Causal Loop Diagram. Due to the decline of safety culture, the occurrence of incidents and accidents require more and more corrective actions to the members of high-risk facilities and thereby increasing their workloads. Employees who must complete the task within the given time have to have time pressures and don't comply with the rules and procedures. Also, a schedule pressure is a big stress for employees, causing mistakes in precision work. In order to improve these problems, CLD of the safety culture in this paper suggests hiring more workers, re-allocation of given workloads and strengthen the learning, communication capabilities and safety leadership. In addition, the two real accident cases were analyzed to test the feasibility of the System Dynamic simulation model through the process of structuring the fault trees on the stationary black out accident in Kori unit 1 in South Korea and Kleen Energy power station explosion in US. The simulation results show that the various safety factors cause the serious accident combined with mechanical failure and safety culture will reduce the possibility of the accidents in these high-risk organizations. This simulation model can contribute to analyzing the impact of the organizational and human factors of safety culture and can provide the alternatives in high-risk facilities.

외식기업 서비스종사원의 성격요인이 조직시민행동과 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Service Employee's Personality on OCB and Customer Orientation in Foodservice Business)

  • 본 연구의 연구목적은 서비스기업 종사자의 성격특성요인이 조직시민행동과 고객지향성에 미치는 영향관계를 확인하는 것이다. 실증분석을 위해 207명의 외식기업 서비스종사자를 대상으로 진행된 설문조사 자료를 토대로 진행된 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스기업 종사원의 성격요인은 5가지 요인; 정서적 불안정성, 외향성, 친화성, 성실성, 지적 개방성 등으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 서비스기업 종사원의 조직시민행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 종사원의 성격특성요인은 지적 개방성, 친화성, 성실성, 외향성 등의 4가지 성격요인으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 서비스기업 종사원의 고객지향성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 종사원의 성격특성요인은 5가지 요인으로 확인되었으며, 정서적 불안정성요인은 고객지향성에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 서비스기업 종사원의 조직시민행동은 고객 지향적 태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

국민건강증진사업 인력 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Health Professional Training Program for National Health Promotion Services)

  • National health promotion services are any planned combination of comprehensive and specific services to help people to achieve and maintain health. The purpose of the service activities is to identify health needs, to obtain information and resources and to achieve change of individuals, families, groups, or entire communities. It also includes environmental support of social, political, economic, and organizational policy and regulatory arrangements bearing on behavior or more directly on health. To be most effective, the service must be planned and delivered by health professional. Therefore, the aim of this study has been to develop a health professional training program for national health promotion. The specific aims of this study were: 1) to clarify the roles, responsibilities and competencies of health promotion practitioners; 2) to help health promotion practitioners to get the knowledge, skills, and abilities for any heath promotion project or program that seeks to improve health; 3) to help health promotion practitioners to acquire the skills and abilities to encourage people to participate in the health promotion project, to access the health needs and available community resources, and develop community-wide health promotion program strategies. The health professional training program developed in this study included factors affecting education, the demands of training program and roles and responsibilities of health promotion practitioners. This study also developed the curriculum for health promotion practitioners. The curriculum had six topics: 1) government's health promotion policies and projects or programs; 2) health management and plan; 3) recent health issues and future perspectives; 4) data on various health status indices; 5) strategies to implement health promotion projects or programs; and 6) introduction of some effective and comprehensive health promotion projects or programs.

도시철도운영기업 종사원에게 인지된 ISO품질경영이 고객만족성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Metro Employees' Perceived ISO Quality Management Employees on Customer Satisfaction Performance)

  • 본 연구는 국내 도시철도운영기업에 종사하는 종사원을 대상으로 ISO품질경영을 도입한 운영기업과 그렇지 않은 기업 간의 조직행동 분석을 연구주제로 삼았다. ISO품질경영에서 요구하는 지침 항목들을 근거로 한 종사원 교육훈련, 업무프로세스, 직무만족, 리더십이 고객만족성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 분석결과, ISO품질경영 인증기업의 경우 업무프로세스는 고객만족성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤지만 종사원 교육훈련은 고객만족성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 또한, 업무프로세스 및 교육훈련과 고객만족성과 간의 영향관계에 있어서 직무만족과 리더십은 매개효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

병원 종합 물류시스템 운영에 대한 관련직원들의 인식 (A Study of the Employee's Attitude Toward Operation of the Hospital Material Requirements Planning System(HMRPS) in University Hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify influencing factors for successful introduction, implementation and management of HMRPS through assessment of the employees attitude toward HMRPS in technical, administrative, and organization behavioral areas. Data were collected from 157 HMRPS employee members' self-reporting questionnaire in three university hospitals in the city of Seoul and Kyonggi Province from November 5 to November 10, 1997. Relevant literature on industry company MPR system theory was reviewed to develop the theoretical framework. The results were as follows: The employee's recognition of tangible benefit were more significantly influenced success than intangible benefit for successful operation relating the HMRPS. Concerning the employee's recognition of the successful HMRPS and the factor of influenced success was significantly positive correlation between tangible and intangible benefits and success factor in technical, administrative, and organizational behavior area. This study showed that major factor affecting the employee's recognition of tangible and intangible benefit for successful HMRPS. For tangible benefits; Success factors in the technical areas were quality of the data and information, efficiency of inventory management and rescheduling of operation plan. Success factors in the administrative areas were: role of top management. Success factors in the organization behavioral areas were; simplicity of the HMRPS, human resistance to change. For intangible benefits; Success factors in the organization behavioral areas were; user involvement, simplicity of HMRPS, human resistance to change. Futhermore as the exact evaluation of successful factors of HMRPS implement is needed, research for the development of systemic variables of physical distribution system control, methods, capacity of system, duration and other environment in many of 30 hospitals or more, and for the empirical study for HMRPS.

Towards Integrating the Knowledge Management Mechanisms to Employ Innovation Factors within Universities: Critical Appraisal Study

  • The knowledge management was considered as the inevitable result of the rule of knowledge in this era, and its importance became clear in being the main source for achieving success, the need to consider and manage knowledge as an independent field that must be addressed with a clear scientific methodology has become intangible - they are very valuable and a strategic asset. On the other hand, the innovation process relates to all parts of the organization, and helps to improve the behavioral patterns of individuals and their attitudes towards adopting modern and innovative ideas, it is a purposeful process adopted by the senior management and works to provide the capabilities and requirements for embodying the innovative behavior in it. In the field of dealing with the market, it is a product of the organization's innovative approach, which aims at advancement, change, and intended and organized renewal. The main objective of this article is to determine the most appropriate ways to integrate knowledge management mechanisms to employ innovation factors within universities based on the role of universities in supporting innovation. This was achieved through reviewing many relevant research and listing the most prominent concepts of knowledge management, its importance, objectives, and processes determining the stages of knowledge management application, the requirements for applying knowledge management, and the obstacles that impede its application; Then the statement "Innovation in universities, through which it addressed the concept of innovation, its importance, stages, and requirements for its application, as well as identifying the most prominent models of innovation, and obstacles to innovation, in addition to that the role of universities in supporting innovation will be identified. From the surveyed study done in this article, we concluded that the relationship among organizational culture, knowledge management and innovation capability can provide useful insights for managers regarding developing a strong culture, promote knowledge management practices effectively and eventually enhance the whole organization's innovation capability. Also, we found that different components of Knowledge Management as Knowledge activities, Knowledge types, transformation of knowledge and technology have a significant positive effect in bringing innovation through transformation of knowledge into knowledge assets in universities.

  • 첨단 미래사회에서 우리는 왜 삶을 위협하는 다양한 위기로부터 자유로울 수 없는가? 재난은 습관적이고 제도화된 행동 양식을 중단시키고 사람들을 사회적 개인적 변화에 따르게 하는 일종의 사회적 충격을 낳는다. 역사적 재난 사례연구는 역사적 재난의 맥락 이해를 통한 현재 재난관리의 재검토가 가능하고, 미래 재난을 해결하기 위한 해답을 찾을 수 있다. 또한 재난 관리의 새로운 패러다임과 방식을 도출할 수 있다. 이 논문의 주된 목적은 역사 속에서 나타난 재난관리를 통한 현대 국가의 재난관리의 발전 방향을 발견하는 데 있다. 연구결과에서 흥미로운 사실은 1925년 을축년 대홍수 당시 재난관리 컨트롤타워 역할이 적절히 이루어졌고, 일원화된 재난관리 체계로 유관기관과의 협조가 원활히 이루어 졌다는 것이다. 그리고 재난관리 조직의 동기부여를 통한 조직몰입에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 역사의 기록을 통한 성찰과 학습을 교훈삼아 현재의 제도 개선을 끊임없이 이루어 나간다면 미래 안전사회를 위한 혜안을 찾을 수 있을 것이다.

근로자의 건강영향인지와 사망만인율을 통한 직무스트레스 해소계수 산정 - 제조업 현장근로자를 중심으로 - (Estimation of Job Stress Relieve Coefficient through Recognizing Health Effects of Workers and Death Rate per 10,000 workers - A manufacturing worker -)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to find out what kind of change in death rate when job stress is solved by calculating job stress relieve coefficient. Methods: This study used the data of the fourth working condition survey. Regression analysis was used to determine the relationship between health effects recognition and Death rate per 10,000 workers. After that the recognizing and non - recognizing groups were categorized by health effects recognition, and the differences between the two groups were confirmed by cross tabulation analysis. Results: Regress analysis P-value is 0.011 and $R^2$ is 0.979. Death rate per 10,000 worker increased with the increase in the number of non - health impact recognizing group. The relieve factors were (1) work culture(2.859) (2) physical environment(2.184), (3) improper reward (1,839), (4) relationship conflict(1.646), (5) job requirement(1.613), (6) job autonomy(1.354), (7) job instability(1.334), And (8) organizational system(1.201). The higher the relieve coefficient is, the higher the probability of belonging to the non - health impact recognizing group when there is no job stress factor. Conclusions: When job stress is resolved, there is a high probability that the health impact recognition is reduced, which can lead to an increase in death rate. but according to previous studies, Job stress can cause accidents by reducing the safety behavior of accidents. The job stress management plan should simultaneously consider reducing job stress and increasing health impact recognition.

대학 교수학습센터(CTL) 20년 운영 과정 분석: 신제도주의 동형화 이론을 중심으로 (A Study on the 20-years' Operating Process of the Centers for Teaching & Learning in the Korean Universities : Application of Neo-institutional Isomorphism Theory)

  • 이 연구는 국내 대학 소속 교수학습개발센터(CTL)의 운영과정을 신제도주의 동형화 이론을 바탕으로 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 신제도주의자들은 조직의 구조와 행동이 조직의 자율적, 합리적 선택이라기보다는 사회에서 인정되는 가치와 규범을 반영하는 것으로 본다. 광범위한 선행연구와 관련 문헌연구 방법을 통해 그리고 동형화 이론적 틀을 바탕으로 CTL의 도입 및 확산, 제도화 과정을 분석한 결과, 국내 대학 CTL의 도입 및 확산 과정에서는 정부 주관의 강제적 동형화와 대학 간 상호 모방 효과가 상대적으로 크게 작동하였다. 또한 전문협의체인 대학교육개발센터협의회는 규범적 동형화의 직접적인 주체로서 핵심적인 역할을 수행하였다. 즉, 국내 대학 CTL은 환경에 대한 외적 정당성 확보를 위한 과정으로 볼 수 있고, 특히 대학은 정부의 평가 기준에 순응 및 동조하면서 조직 형태를 동형화시켰음을 확인할 수 있었다. 급변하는 대학교육 환경의 변화에 대응하여 CTL이 주도적으로 대학교육 발전의 엔진이 될 수 있도록 고유한 가치와 전략을 개발하고 이를 대학 실정에 맞게 발전시키는 노력이 필요하다.

A Study on the Impact of Emotional Labor of Sales and Service Workers

  • 본 연구는 판매서비스직 종사자를 대상으로 감정노동이 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 수집한 자료는 PASW 18.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도분석, 빈도분석, T-test, one-way ANOVA, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 판매서비스직 종사자들은 감정노동의 표면행동보다 내면행동이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이타주의는 근무경력에 따라, 양심행동은 성별에 따라, 직장-가정 갈등은 연령, 결혼여부, 1일 평균 고객 응대시간에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 감정노동의 표면행동이 높을수록 이타주의는 증가하였으며, 내면행동이 높을수록 직무소진과 직장-가정 갈등은 감소하였고, 이타주의와 양심행동은 증가하였다. 넷째, 감정노동과 관련된 변수들의 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 변수는 감정노동의 내면행동이었다.
