This paper describes the knowledge extraction for image understanding in knowledge based system. The current set of low level processes operate on the numerical pixel arrays, to segment the image into region and to convert the image into directional image, and to calculate feature for these regions. The current set of intermedate level processes operate on the results of earlier knowledge source to build more complex representations of the data. We have grouped into thee categories : feature based classification, geometric token relation, perceptual organization and grouping.

Studying biological networks, such as protein-protein interactions, is key to understanding complex biological activities. Various types of large-scale biological datasets have been collected and analyzed with high-throughput technologies, including DNA microarray, next-generation sequencing, and the two-hybrid screening system, for this purpose. In this review, we focus on network-based approaches that help in understanding biological systems and identifying biological functions. Accordingly, this paper covers two major topics in network biology: reconstruction of gene regulatory networks and network-based applications, including protein function prediction, disease gene prioritization, and network-based genome-wide association study.

RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) study has received far less rigorous analysis in the system performance and integration level, and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) research has been studying to improve the maintenance efficiency in the operational steps based on collected data of real operational cases. This paper analyzes the basic concepts based on KS X ISO/IEC 15288 system life-cycle process in the whole system for the light rail transit construction, and the research suggests an approach to the management process of the applicable main tasks. The paper "Management Process Study to RAMS Application of Light Rail Transit System" introduces Airport Rail cases and guidelines by using RAMS which is the major role in the system engineering technical process of ISO/IEC 15288 (International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission 15288) to apply RAMS in domestic light rail transit efficiently, the aim of this study is to broaden of understanding RAMS.

Organizations worldwide make efforts to develop their management systems for business functions. The representatives of management systems include quality management system(QMS), environmental manage ment system(EMS) and occupational health and safety management system(OHSMS). Implementing EMS and/or OHSMS in addition to QMS requires the integration of separate management systems in alignment with the organization's strategies and goals. Through the questionnaire survey on Korean marine equipment enterprises, this paper deals with the operational practices of management systems and analyzes perceptions about integrated management system(IMS). We found out the degree of perception is not sufficient enough to prepare background for IMS in Korean marine equipment enterprises. The results contribute to solid understanding and successful implementation of IMS.

Automation can help organisations implement authentic and reliable record management practices, through the improved tracking of records through their life cycle as well as the consistent application of records schedules and descriptive standards. Maintaining evidence through authentic and reliable records is a cornerstone of good business practice and helps ensure a valuable record for society. This paper provided understanding of establishing records and archives management system(ARMS) with the case of the Jogye order of Korean buddhism. This system was designed to control records in the whole step from creation to preservation so that it automatized process to organize and control current records and to preserve archives. This system covers a wide range of archival functions including appraisal, arrangement and description, transfers, access, location and space management, microfilm management and destruction. This system will be applied records management of similar organization because of designing from the archival scientific point of view. Also, development process of this system will help archivist to build ARMS based on archival needs of institution.

Among the various ERP solutions, SAP R/3 solution has been chosen because SAP system follows global standard processes which include most of business solutions for various industries. The ERP education is limited by learning theory only and they are not sufficient for understanding wide scale of business processes. Real world scenarios with hands on experience approach will be the core aspect of this article. As per real world scenarios, "ChungBuk Motors. Corp." has been created and students are asked to create the organization structure and the procurement process for this virtual enterprise. As a result, students attending this class showed better understanding of overall ERP system comparing to the students attended other ERP classes. The hands-on experience with real-world scenarios proved that it is most practical and efficient solution for educating ERP system.

In spite of the perceived importance of sustainable development in society, we still fails to reflect consistently our best understandings about the sustainable development and education for sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to inquire into the orientation of education for sustainable development in the 21st Century knowledge-based society. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, it is necessary to provide newly defined sustainable development which enables us to transform unsustainable way of life into environmentally sound and sustainable development. Education for sustainable development is defined as a basic education that have a mature understanding among the human, nature and wisdom of life. Second, we should emphasis on a system thinking, basic communication in order to encourage education for sustainable development as a learning strategy. Third, we should suggest both individual and community learning education for sustainable development. Finally, we develope knowledge system of sustainable development in accordance with the theories of knowledge management. In conclusion, it is necessary to approach education for sustainable development in the context of the knowledge-based society and the information age. It enables us enhance a new awareness and attitudes towards sustainable development. Furthermore, it is expected to develop an education program for the sustainable development of understanding.

The demand against the risk analysis and information security of system from the companies or the agencies which operate an information system is increasing. ISO/IEC 27001 was established by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). Also this standard is international and authoritative standard of ISMS (Information Security Management System). This paper is to review how the ISO 27001 ISMS Requirement has been established and improved, and to communicate the significant changes from ISO27001 : 2005 to ISO 27001 : 2013 focusing on reasons for revisions. Additionally, This paper shows case study for understanding ISO 27001 : 2013 implementation.

Since many years ago and in spite of the existence of national regulations and international conventions ratified by the countries that are conformed the Central American Region (CAR), the seagoing maritime sector of this Region, has developed its activity without any type of safety measures. Therefore, a large number of people are known to die, disappear and suffer from serious injuries each year. These maritime casualties devastate the families affected by these events, and severely impact the local social and economic well-being. While all these accidents occurred in this Region, non government or any other official records are available recording these casualties Due to the lack of any historical written reports about maritime casualties occurred in this Region, the compilation of this type of accidents information and data was carried out directly by the researchers in the field. Also, all the information about the CAR Maritime Organization Components was too compiled by the authors from the respective National Maritimes Authorities. From the compiled information was elaborated the CAR maritime casualties data base and from the analysis of the above data base were determined the main causes of the maritime accidents occurred in the CAR. The lack of safety measures onboard and the ignorance of the presence and influence of atmospheric phenomena were among main factors that had been caused the maritime casualties in this Region. By other hand, from the analysis of the CAR maritime organization components, the existence of one level of organization very similar among them was determinate. The objective of this research was to analyze the role of the CAR maritime organization in the prevention of the occurrence of maritime casualties. The results of this study provides general understanding of the causes of this type of accidents in the CAR and basis for support in improving safety navigation system and measures so that the number of fatalities and maritime accidents may be reduced in the future.
