조직요인과 지식정보 특성 요인이 지식관리 시스템의 조직성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Organization Factors and Knowledge Information Characteristic Factors on Organization Performance of Knowledge Management System)

  • 본 연구는 지식관리시스템을 도입하여 운영 중인 기업체와 기관들을 대상으로 지식관리시스템의 도입요인이 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 조직요인의 하위변수 중 최고책임자의 지원은 조직성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 둘째, 지식정보요인의 하위변수인 지식정보의 품질, 지식정보의 신뢰성, 이용편리성은 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직요인의 하위변수 중 비전과 목표는 조직성과에 영향을 미치지 않는 변수로 분석되었다. 이와 같은 본 연구의 분석결과는 선행연구 결과와 일치하는 것임을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 핵심전략과 비전의 수립, 비전과 전략의 명확성과 구체성, 지식관리의 필요성, 핵심지식의 규정화 등으로 측정된 비전과 목표는 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 변수로 분석되어 선행연구 결과와는 다르게 분석되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 정보 시스템 보안 체계를 보다 체계적으로 구축하고 효율적으로 운영하기 위해서는 보안에도 전략이 도입되어야 한다. 또한, 전략이 구현되어 성공적으로 작동하기 위해서는 조직 차원의 참여가 필수적이다. 하지만, 조직의 정보 시스템 보안 전략에 관한 연구는 아직까지 전략적 사고에 의한 보안 체계의 배치와 운영에 초점이 맞추어져 있어, 조직 전체를 움직이고 이끌기 위한 총체적 프레임에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 조직 차원의 보안 전략 수립에 활용할 수 있는 프레임워크를 연구한다. 이를 위하여 조직 차원의 전략 수립이라는 측면에서 총괄 전략의 개념을 도입하였으며, 총괄 전략이 갖는 4차원적 특성을 기반으로 정보 시스템 보안 총괄 전략을 구성하기 위한 프레임워크를 제시한다.

The New Paradigm of Management in Design Organization: The Reality of Bottom-line Effectiveness in Design Organization's Management Needs

  • This study identifies how management theory and philosophy work in conjunction with and support one another as both are critical to understanding leadership concepts and viewing the design organization holistically in terms of organizational behavior and performance. This paper analyses data from an in-depth single-case study at management in interior design organization in Korea. Two new 'most efficient and effective way' to achieve the goals of the design organization has been launched. The first was organizational behavior and performance, and the second a needed new paradigm of management skills. Organizational culture affects organizational effectiveness in design because it can (a) provide an organization with a competitive advantage, (b) improve the way an organizational structure works, and (c) increase the motivation of designers to pursue organizational interests. Moreover, the result of research creates paradigm of thinking that how leaders in the design organization need to focus on innovative and strategic systems to gain competitive advantage and enter global markets; a key inter-organizational cooperation strategy to achieve a targeted goal.

e-Marketplaces를 통한 물류서비스 성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of the Logistics Service through e-Marketplaces)

  • Although logistics service quality is considered an essential strategy for success and survival in today's internet environment, there are still a lot of question: what variables determine the extent of logistics service effect, how difficultly do the determinants affecting logistics service effect and how accomplish the decision making in the implementation of inter-organization information system. The purpose of this study is to examine a model to utilize the application and effect of logistics service through e-marketplaces. The results of empirical analysis are mentioned as follows; First, among the interorganization information system factors, four variables(top management support in organization characters, competitive degree in environment characters, relative advantage and information efficiency in innovation characters) have been shown to be primary determinant of the effect of logistics service quality. Second, the type of independent variable used results in a significant difference in the effect of logistics service quality. Third, Korean firms have to pursue the corporate strategy focused on logistics service quality.

The Product Market Strategies of Korean Knitwear Companies

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how three factors--designer's capability, product market strategy, and product organization--supposed to determine the design process are related to each other. These factors influence Korean knitwear companies' market performances. For this purpose, we did not only library research on relevant theories such as the transaction cost economics but also empirical research largely based on a questionnaire. The respondents of the questionnaire were 59 designers, merchandisers(MDs), and top managers of knitwear companies located in Seoul. We analyzed the collected questionnaire data by using such statistical tools as χ²-test, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Findings of this study were as follows. While there was a significant relation between organization form and designer's capability, no significant difference in designer's capability was found between trust enhanced network and unenhanced network. No significant relation was found between organization form and product market strategy, in discordance with Carney's arguments. Also, it appeared that there was no significant relationship between knitwear companies' product market strategies and their designers' capabilities.

  • The need for organization to formulate an appropriate strategies and tactics for the management of EUC has been repeatedly emphasized in the MIS literature. Yet to date an absence of explicite EUC strategies seems to be the overwhelming norm. The purpose of this paper, under the assumption that EUC is an organization innovation, is to contribute what EUC management is most effective for a given organization at a particular point in time. 1. How to effectively implement a particular EUC strategy\ulcorner 2. When to adopt a particular strategy\ulcorner After this paper reviewed these issues, it would present strategies that the business can accomplish innovation through EUC activity.

연령, 범주전형성 및 회상조건에 따른 아동의 상위기억과 범주적 조직화 책략 사용 (Metamemory and Categorical Organization Strategy for Age, Category Typicality, and Recall Tasks)

  • The purpose of the present research was to study developmental trends in categorical organization strategy. The subjects were 160 children - 40 nine - year - old boys, 40 nine - year - old girls, 40 seven - year - old boys, 40 seven - year - old girls. All subjects received one of three lists of items differing in category representativeness in either a free -recall or a sort -recall task. The selection of list materials permitted separation of the effects of age differences in category knowledge from those of knowledge per se on children's recall behavior. The tasks were administered to children individually with the memory task followed by the metamemory task. The data was analyzed with three - way ANOVA arid Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results were that (1) Children's recall, clustering, and metamemory increased with age, while age effects for clustering were restricted to the sort - recall/high typicality condition. At each age level, children showed higher level of recall, clustering and metamemory for category typical rather than atypical list, and sort - recall than free-recall. Level of clustering and metamemory were superior in the sort - recall task and for items of high category typicality. (2) 9 - year - old children were capable of deliberately and efficiently using category organization as a memory strategy at least when appropriate contextual support was present (as determined by task requirements and list materials: sort - recall/high typicality).

  • With the dawn of the 21st century, the corporate business environment started to witness the unprecedented, intense competition on global basis. As a result, the kind of corporate business activity that can respond swiftly to the new changes emerged as one of the most critical factors to increase corporate competitiveness. Being reborn as a strategy-focused organization means seeking innovation. And the strategy not involving innovation is just meaningless. It is this innovation that lies at the heart of the corporate strategy, and that is the only way for continuation of the corporation. The most important pending issue facing companies today is to bolster corporate competencies fit for new business environment, to develop corporate culture required for getting competitiveness edge back, and ultimately to put the company on the continued growth path. Corporate culture, as the very underlying belief and philosophy, is not just woven into the fabric of the corporate management strategy and into the way the company is doing its business. It also, as a regulation and norm for its employees to stick by, affects the way they think and behave. This paper aims at presenting the role of the corporate culture in working out problems encountered by companies today, like corporate innovation, instilling vitality to the organization, beefing up the underlying corporate capabilities, and making transformation required by the changing business environment.

정부출연연구기관 전략적 성과관리체계(BSC) 구축사례: K연구원을 중심으로 (Case Study on BSC System Implementation in Korean Public-Sector R&D Institution: Focused on K-Institute)

  • Kaplan과 Norton(1992)에 의해 소개된 BSC(balanced scorecard)는 다양한 기업과 산업에서 일반적인 성과평가 도구로 활용되고 있다. BSC는 전략적 목표를 구체적인 운영지표에 연계시켜 기업의 목표달성을 효과적으로 평가할 수 있도록 해 주는 장점이 있다. 본 연구는 설립 목적상 공공성을 갖으면서 지식전문가로 구성된 국가R&D조직에 BSC시스템을 구축하고 적용한 사례를 보여준다. 이러한 공공 전문조직이 BSC를 통해 전략적 방향을 재정렬하고 전략집중형 조직(Strategy Focused Organization)으로 변화하기 위해서는, 기관의 고유 미션으로부터 시작하여 비전 재설정, 전략방향과 목표 수립, 핵심성과지표 도출, 전략지도(Strategy Map) 설정, 모니터링 시스템 구축에 이르는 BSC 전체 구축과정에서의 방법론에 대한 이해와 현실적 적용이 성공의 핵심적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 K연구원의 사례에서는 그러한 적용과정을 보여줌으로 해서 공공연구기관의 BSC구축에 대한 유익한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.
