도심지 급경사지에서 토석류 범람 특성 및 사방댐 기능 (Debris flow characteristics and sabo dam function in urban steep slopes)

  • 과거의 토석류 재해는 도시로부터 멀리 떨어진 산지지형에서 주로 발생하여 다른 자연재해 보다 비교적 피해가 적은 재해로 저평가 되었다. 하지만 도시화가 진행됨에 따라 도심속 산지지형에 많은 주거지 및 주요 시설물 등이 건설되면서 많은 환경적 변화와 기후변화에 따른 강우량의 증가로 토사재해의 발생 빈도가 꾸준히 증가 하고 있어 토석류에 대한 위험 리스크가 고조되고 있다. 특히 급경사지로 지정된 지역에서 토석류 범람 특성 및 저감대책에 관한 연구는 아직 미비하다. 따라서 우리나라 환경에 적합한 독자적인 방재 기술을 확보하기 위한 연구와 여러 방재 정보의 업데이트 및 개량이 요구되며 우리나라 지형 특성을 고려할 수 있는 독자적인 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 급경사지로 지정된 지역을 대상으로 방재성능목표에 따른 토사 유출량을 산정하고 그에 따른 독자적인 모델을 개발하여 토석류 영향평가와 피해저감에 탁월한 사방댐의 기능 평가를 목적으로 한다. 사방댐 평가를 위해 개발한 2차원 토석류 모델의 신뢰성 확보를 위해 수리모형실험과의 비교 검증 결과 잘 일치하는 것으로 나타났으며 이 결과로부터 모델의 신뢰성을 확인하였다. 또한, 급경사지 주변의 지역적 특징을 고려하기 위해 평면 2차원 토석류 모델을 구축하여 직접 피해지역에 도달하는 토석류의 흐름 특성을 분석하였고, 피해저감을 위해 설치한 사방댐의 제원(높이) 및 설치장소에 따라 토석류가 하류로 전달되는 흐름 특성을 분석하였다. 특히 사방댐 설치장소가 토석류의 흐름이 발생하는 약 20° 이상의 지역에서는 사방댐의 기능이 현저히 떨어지는 것을 확인하였다.

고품질 시설하우스 오이재배를 위한 토양 종합관리 기술 (Soil Management Techniques for High Quality Cucumber Cultivation in Plastic Film Greenhouse)

  • 시설재배지는 주로 논토양에 설치되는데 밭작물을 재배하기 때문에 재배적지를 잘 선정하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 시설재배지를 연작할 경우 염농도 (EC)의 상승, 양분불균형, 병충해 증가로 농산물의 품질이나 수량이 떨어지기 때문에 종합적인 토양관리를 해야 할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 재배지에서 오이의 수량 확보와 고품질 농산물을 생산하기 위해서는 종합적인 토양개량이 필요하다. 고품질 오이생산기술을 개발하기 위하여 적지선정, 토양비옥도, 환경관리, 병충해경감, 비료흡수의 경시적 변화 등을 검토하였고, 오이의 뿌리조사 및 수량과 경제성 분석을 수행하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 시설오이재배적지는 하성평탄지 및 곡간지이고, 배수는 약간양호 내지 약간불량이며, 토성은 사양질, 유효토심은 100 cm내외, 침수로 부터는 안전한 지대이어야 하고, 햇빛이 잘 들고 지하수가 풍부한 지역이 좋다. 시설 내 환경관리 중 온도는 3단계로 조절하는데 주간은 $22{\sim}28^{\circ}C$, 밤 12시까지는 $14{\sim}15^{\circ}C$, 밤 12시부터 해뜨기 직전 $10{\sim}12^{\circ}C$로 유지하며, 수분관리는 영양생장기에는 0~15%로 낮게 유지하고, 생식생장기에는 15~20%로 조절하여야 다수확과 고품질의 오이를 생산할 수 있다. 시설 연작장해지의 염농도 저감은 옥수수와 같은 청예작물을 재배하고, 뿌리혹선충방제는 토양열소독으로 방제하면 고품질의 오이를 재배할 수 있다. 시설오이수량 및 경제적분석결과 종합개량처리구는 158.0 Mg이고 연작장해지는 $140.3kg\;Mg^{-1}$ 이었다. 소득은 종합개량구가 215,676 천원, 연작장해지는 131,649 천원 $ha^{-1}$으로 소득율이 각각 51.8, 38.4% 이었다.

차세대 리튬 금속 전지 연구 및 개발을 위한 코인형 전지의 효율적 설계 (A Rational Design of Coin-type Lithium-metal Full Cell for Academic Research)

  • 코인형 전지는 리튬 이차 전지 연구의 주요 평가 플랫폼으로써 새로운 소재 및 개념을 발굴하고 차세대 전지의 기초 연구에도 큰 기여를 하고 있다. 리튬 금속 전지는 500 Wh kg-1 이상의 에너지 밀도를 구현할 수 있어 유망한 차세대 리튬 이차 전지 후보군으로 고려되고 있으나, 덴드라이트 형태의 리튬 전착과 함께 극심한 부피 변화 및 표면적 증가라는 성능 열화에 매우 취약하다. 특히, 리튬 금속 전지의 수명은 전해질 양, 리튬 두께, 내부 압력 등과 같은 전지 설계 및 구조에 매우 의존하기 때문에 코인셀 수준에서의 성능 평가 및 신뢰성에 치명적이다. 따라서, 기존 코인셀 구조를 개선한 리튬 금속 음극 특화 전지 설계 및 규격화가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 상용수준에서의 주요 전지 설계 인자인 극소량의 전해질과 높은 양극 로딩 레벨, 박막 리튬 사용 등의 환경에서 성능 및 재현성을 확보한 코인셀 구조를 제안한다. 양극과 음극의 면적비를 1에 근접하게 제어하여 비활성 공간을 최소화하고 용량 저하현상을 완화시켰다. 또한, 코인셀 내 압력을 정량화하여 압력의 균일성이 중요한 인자임을 규명하고 유연성 고분자 (PDMS) 필름 도입과 내부 부품의 변화를 통해 기존보다 높고 (0.6 MPa → 2.13 MPa) 균일한 압력(표준편차: 0.43 → 0.16)이 가하도록 개조하였다. 이를 통해 최적의 설계를 정립을 통해 기존보다 향상된 재현성을 확인하였다.

HFC-134a 가수분해를 위한 Red mud 촉매 기계적 안정성 향상에 관한 연구 (Study on the Mechanical Stability of Red Mud Catalysts for HFC-134a Hydrolysis Reaction)

  • 본 연구는 7대 온실가스 중 하나인 HFC-134a를 효과적으로 분해하기 위한 촉매로써 산업 부산물인 red mud를 상업적으로 사용하기 위한 기계적 안정성 향상에 관한 것이다. 알루미늄 공정에서 배출한 산업용 폐기물인 red mud는 분쇄-분취-압축-성형-소성 공정으로 HFC-134a 분해가 가능한 촉매 제조가 가능하였는데, 소성을 통해 촉매 성능 향상 및 기계적 안정성을 확보할 수 있었다. 최적의 열처리 조건을 확인하기 위하여, 펠렛형태로 압축성형한 red mud는 머플퍼니스를 이용하여 300, 600, 800 ℃에서 5시간 소성하여 촉매성능 및 기계적 안정성을 확인하였는데, 기계적 안정성은 증류수에 촉매를 담근 후 초음파 처리 전후 무게 손실률로 확인하였다. 열처리에 따른 촉매성능 및 기계적 안정성을 확인한 결과 800 ℃에서 소성한 촉매(RM 800)가 기계적 안정성은 물론 촉매활성 또한 가장 우수하였다. RM 800 촉매를 사용한 촉매 성능 및 100시간 동안 수행한 내구성 측정 결과 650 ℃에서 1 mol% HFC-134a를 99% 이상 분해하였고, 내구성 측정 기간동안 촉매성능 저하는 관찰할 수 없었다. XRD 분석 결과 800도 소성 후 Ca, Si, 및 Al의 상호작용으로 인해 기계적 강도와 활성 향상에 영향을 미치는 트라이 칼슘알루미네이트와 게레나이트 결정상이 나타났다. 내구성을 측정한 촉매 SEM/EDS 분석 결과 RM 800 촉매는 HFC-134a 분해로 인한 활성물질 저감 및 형상변화가 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해 산업폐기물인 red mud는 경제성이 매우 높고 분해효율 및 기계적 안정성 또한 매우 높아 폐냉매 처리를 위한 촉매로써 상용화가 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

돼지의 심낭, 판막을 이용한 이종이식 보철편의 개발(고정 방법에 따른 조직학적 분석) (Development of Porcine Pericardial Heterograft for Clinical Application (Microscopic Analysis of Various Fixation Methods))

  • 배경: 지금까지 심장 및 혈관 등의 결손을 교정하기 위하여 자기 조직이 아닌 다른 보철편의 필요가 증가함에 따라, 그에 따른 다양한 대체제가 연구 개발되고 있으며, 임상에서 실제로 흔히 이용되고 있다. 본 연구는 새로운 조직의 처리방법을 개발하기 위하여 이미 상용화되고 있는 기존의 일부 이종이식 보철편들과, 여러 가지 조건들에서 제조되는 이종조직인 돼지 심낭과 대동맥, 페동맥판막 등의 보철편들의 임상적용 전에 각종 고정, 처리 방법에 따른 이종조직의 조직학적 변성이나 변화의 가능성을, 물리적, 구조적, 기능적 치적의 상태를 분석하기 위하여 광학 현미경 및 전자 현미경 소견을 통하여 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1) 0.625% glutaraldehyde용액에 고정 전과 고정 후의 돼지 심낭과 대동맥, 폐동맥판막, 사람의 심낭, 그리고 상용화되고 있는 기존의 이종이식 보철편들과 광학 및 전자현미경으로 비교관찰 하였다. 2) 돼지 심낭과 대동맥, 페동맥판막을 0.625% glutaraldehyde 고정 전과 고정 후에 80% Ethanol 처리한 군과, sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) 을 이용하여 무세포화 처리만 시행한 군, 무세포화과정 후에 0.625% glutaraldehyde 고정한 군, 80% ethanol 처리 후 다시 무세포화과정을 한 후 0.625% glutaraldehyde 고정한 군, 무세포화한 후 다시 ethanol 처리 후 다시 0.625% glutaraldehyde 고정한 군으로 나누어 각각을 광학 및 전자현미경으로 관찰하였다 결과: 1) 돼지 심낭은 장막 층(serosal layer), 섬유층(fibrosa), 심외막 결합조직(epicardial connective tissue)로 이루어져 있었으며, 여러 가지 처치 후에도 모두 콜라겐 섬유는 잘 유지되고 있었다. 하지만 무세포화만 시행하거나 먼저 무세포화 처리한 군의 콜라겐구조는 다른 군에 비해 느슨하게 연결된(loosely condensed) 양상이었다. 기존의 소나 돼지의 심낭으로 만들어진 Shelhign, Biocor, Supple Peri-guard 등의 제품들의 콜라겐 섬유는 비교적 잘 유지되고 있었다. 2) 돼지 대동맥, 폐동맥 판막은 섬유판(lamina fibrosa), 해면질판(lamina spongiosa), 심실판(lamina ventricularis) 세층으로 이루어져 있었으며 이 판막들은 여러 가지 처치 후에도 모두 세층과 콜라겐 섬유는 잘 유지되고 있었다. 하지만 무세포화만 시행하거나 민저 처리한 군은 신낭에서 처럼 콜라겐구조는 다른 군에 비해 약간 느슨하게 연결된(loosely condensed) 양상이었다. 돼지 대동맥판막으로 만들어진 Carpentier Edwards, Medtronics, Shelhigh, Biocor의 다른 제품들도 세 개의 층은 잘 유지되었고 콜라겐도 잘 유지되고 있었다. 결론: 이종이식 돼지심낭과 대동맥 판막, 폐동맥 판막 보철편은 여러 조건하의 고정 방법들에 따라 광학 및 전자 현미경적 구조의 확연한 차이를 보이지 않아, Glutaraldehyde를 이용한 각종 조직 처리과정 중 조직손상에 의한 구조적, 기계적손실은 없는 것으로 생각되며, sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS)을 이용하여 무세포화 처리를 시행한 경우 대부분의 보철편에서 콜라겐 조직의 미세한 변성이나 분해(degradation)가 광학 및 전자현미경에서 관찰되어, 무세포화의 처리방법이나 조건의 적절화가 필요한 것으로 생각되었다.

UV 공정을 이용한 N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) 광분해 및 부산물 생성에 관한 연구: 박스-벤켄법 실험계획법을 이용한 통계학적 분해특성평가 및 반응모델 수립 (A study on the Degradation and By-products Formation of NDMA by the Photolysis with UV: Setup of Reaction Models and Assessment of Decomposition Characteristics by the Statistical Design of Experiment (DOE) based on the Box-Behnken Technique)

  • 본 연구는 광분해 산화공정으로 난분해성 물질인 N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA)인 제거 및 부산물 생성 특성을 파악하기 위한 3개의 독립변수 (자외선 강도($X_1:\;1.5{\sim}4.5\;mW/cm^2$, 초기 NDMA 농도($X_2:\;100{\sim}300\;uM$), pH(X3:3~9))와 4개의 종속변수(NDMA 제거율($Y_1$), dimethylamine (DMA) 생성농도($Y_2$), dimethylformamide (DMF) 생성농도($Y_3$) 및 $NO_2$-N 생성농도($Y_4$))로 구성된 박스-벤켄 설계를 이용한 실험계획을 적용시켜 예측 모델과 광분해 산화 최적조건을 수립하였다. 실험결과 2시간 광분해 후 NDMA는 거의 완전히 제거되었으며 DMA, DMF와 $NO_2$-N은 NDMA 광분해와 동시에 부산물로 생성되었다. 광분해 최적의 조건을 얻기 위해 정준분석을 수행하여 최적 점 (반응값, 독립변수 조건)과 예측반응모델을 수립한 결과, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다 ($Y_1=117+21X_1-0.3X_2-17.2X_3+{2.43X_1}^2+{0.001X_2}^2+{3.2X_3}^2-0.08X_1X_2-1.6X_1X_3-0.05X_2X_3$ ($R^2$ = 96%, Adjusted $R^2$ = 88%)와 99.3% ($X_1:\;4.5\;mW/cm^2$, $X_2:\;190\;uM$, $X_3:\;3.2$), $Y_2=-101+18.5X_1+0.4X_2+21X_3-{3.3X_1}^2-{0.01X_2}^2-{1.5X_3}^2-0.01X_1X_2-0.07X_1X_3-0.01X_2X_3$ ($R^2$= 99.4%, 수정 $R^2$ = 95.7%)와 35.2 uM ($X_1:\;3\;mW/cm^2$, $X_2:\;220\;uM$, $X_3:\;6.3$), $Y_3=-6.2+0.2X_1+0.02X_2+2X_3-{0.26X_1}^2-{0.01X_2}^2-{0.2X_3}^2-0.004X_1X_2+0.1X_1X_3-0.02X_2X_3$ ($R^2$= 98%, 수정 $R^2$ = 94.4%)와 3.7 uM ($X_1:\;4.5\;mW/cm^2$, $X_2:\;290\;uM$, $X_3:\;6.2$), $Y_4=-25+12.2X_1+0.15X_2+7.8X_3+{1.1X_1}^2+{0.001X_2}^2-{0.34X_3}^2+0.01X_1X_2+0.08X_1X_3-3.4X_2X_3$ ($R^2$= 98.5%, 수정 $R^2$ = 95.7%)와 74.5 uM ($X_1:\;4.5\;mW/cm^2$, $X_2:\;220\;uM$, $X_3:\;3.1$). 반응표면분석법 중 하나인 박스-벤켄법은 UV 광분해에 의한 NDMA 분해 및 부산물 생성에 대한 통계학적 및 수학적인 결과 및 최적의 운전조건을 제시하였다. 예측모델의 검정을 통하여 박스-벤켄법은 매우 높은 신뢰성을 보였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm.
