CCTV 카메라용 광학계 설계 (Optical System Design for CCTV Camera)

  • 목적: 본 논문은 CCTV 카메라용 렌즈 설계를 triplet형으로 광학 설계를 하였다. 방법: 초점거리를 56 mm, 유효경을 20 mm 그리고 화각을 $5^{\circ}$로 한 망원 렌즈 형태이고, 설계하고자 하는 카메라의 CCD array detector의 크기를 2/3인치로 하였다. 결과: 광학계의 성능은 ray-fan과 spot diagram 그리고 회절 광학적인 MTF를 계산하여 평가하였고, 파장은 Fraunhofer C, d 및 F-line에 대해 achromat 되었으며 MTF 값도 tangential과 sagittal MTF 모두 50 line pairs/mm의 공간 주파수에 70% 정도가 나왔다. 결론: triplet형으로 비교적 저가 보급형 감시용 목적 CCTV 카메라를 설계하였고 충분히 실용적이라 생각된다.

Design of Dynamically Focus-switchable Fresnel Zone Plates Based on Plasmonic Phase-change VO2 Metafilm Absorbers

  • Novel thermo-optically focus-switchable Fresnel zone plates based on phase-change metafilms are designed and analyzed at a visible wavelength (660 nm). By virtue of the large thermo-optic response of vanadium dioxide (VO2) thin film, a phase-change material, four different plasmonic phase-change absorbers are numerically designed as actively tunable Gires-Tournois Al-VO2 metafilms in two and three dimensions. The designed phase-change metafilm unit cells are used as the building blocks of actively focus-switchable Fresnel zone plates with strong focus switching contrast (40%, 83%) and high numerical apertures (1.52, 1.70). The Fresnel zone plates designed in two and three dimensions work as cylindrical and spherical lenses in reflection type, respectively. The coupling between the thermo-optic effect of VO2 and localized plasmonic resonances in the Al nanostructures offer a large degree of freedom in design and high-contrast focus-switching performance based on largely tunable absorption resonances. The proposed method may have great potential in photothermal and electrothermal active optical devices for nonlinear optics, microscopy, 3D scanning, optical trapping, and holographic displays over a wide spectral range including the visible and infrared regimes.

  • 고도의 산업화와 매스미디어의 발달로 인해 개성화, 다양화를 강조하는 현대사회에서는 시각적인 요소를 매우 중요시 여기게 되었으며, 이를 계기로 Total Fashion의 시대가 막을 열었다. 과거의 안경디자인 트랜드는 시력교정과 시력보호라는 고전적인 목적을 가지고 단순한 형태와 기능 등 획일적인 양상을 띠었으나, 21C 안경디자인은 시력교정과 시력보호라는 과거의 기능 이외에 문화와 패션 트랜드에 발맞추어 급변해 가고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 안경의 시대적 변천과정을 살펴보고 의상, 헤어와 메이크업 동향에 따른 안경디자인의 추세와 색상이미지를 분석하여 21C 안경디자인의 조건을 고찰하였다.

Application of Transformation Electromagnetics to Cloak Design and Reduction of Radar Cross Section

  • In this paper we present an alternative approach to addressing the problem of designing cloaks for radar targets, which have been dealt with in the past by using the transformation optics (TO) algorithm. The present design utilizes realistic materials, which can be fabricated in the laboratory, and are wideband as well as relatively insensitive to polarization and incident angle of the incoming wave. The design strategy, presented herein, circumvents the need to use metamaterials for cloak designs that are inherently narrowband, dispersive and highly sensitive to polarization and incident angle. A new interpretation of the TO algorithm is presented and is employed for the design of radar cross section-reducing absorbers for arbitrary targets, and not just for canonical shapes, e.g., cylinders. The topic of performance enhancement of the absorbers by using graphene materials and embedded frequency structure surfaces is briefly mentioned. The design procedure for planar absorbing covers is presented and their performance as wrappers of general objects is discussed. A number of test cases are included as examples to illustrate the application of the proposed design methodology, which is a modification of the classical TO paradigm.

  • Recently, with the increasing lightness and miniaturization of high resolution camera phones, the demand for aspheric glass lens has increased because plastic and spherical lens are unable to satisfy the required performance. An aspheric glass lens is fabricated by the high temperature and pressure molding using a tungsten carbide molding core, so precision grinding and coating technology for the molding core surface are required. This study investigates the effect of diamond-like carbon (DLC) and rhenium-iridium (Re-Ir) coating For aspheric molding core surface. The grinding conditions of the tungsten carbide molding core were obtained by design of experiments (DOE) for application in the ultra precision grinding process of the tungsten carbide molding core of the aspheric glass lens used in 5 megapixel, $4{\times}$ zoom camera phone modules. A tungsten carbide molding core was fabricated under this grinding condition and coated with the DLC and Re-Ir coating. By measurements, the effect of DLC and Re-Ir coating on the form accuracy and surface roughness of molding coer was evaluated.

  • 위성통신을 위한 고이득을 가지는 송수신 안테나 설계를 위하여 Ka-band 영역에서 이용 가능한 프레넬 존 플레이트 렌즈 안테나의 특성을 해석하였다. 해석 수법은 기하광학 근사법으로 잘 알려진 PO(Physical Optics)법을 이용하였다. FZPL은 20GHz에서 수신 가능하도록 11개의 존으로 구성하였으며, 실험결과 설계 초점거리에서 33.01dB의 수신 이득을 가졌다.

홍채 촬영용 광학계 개발 (Development of an Optical System for Iris Photographing)

  • 한의학, 진단학에서 사용되는 홍채 촬영용 광학계를 설계 제작해 보았다. 전체 구성은 광원부, 결상광학계, 촬상구동부, 진단 S/W로 되어있다. 결상광학계는 FD60, BACD5의 재질로 색수차를 제거한 0.58X배의 축소광학계로 설계하였다. 결상광학계의 국산화는 제품 전체의 원가절감에 큰 기여를 하게 되었다. 제작되어진 촬영장치는 외국제품과 비교해 볼 때 영상의 입체감에서 우수한 성능을 가직 가지게 되었다.

  • 눈을 통한 3차원의 입체시(stereopsis)는 좌 우 눈으로 들어오는 상의 융합에 의해 형성된다. 양안시차(Binocular disparity)의 깊이 감각을 유발시킴으로써 3D-Stereogram를 만들 수 있다. 구형 물체와 눈의 3D-Steregram은 양안시차의 시야각에 대응하는 조명 위치각으로 촬영하여 만들었고 입체시가 됨을 규명하였다.

  • Due to improve form accuracy and surface roughness of a aspheric lens core that is made of Ni, the study is carried out on localization about a Subminiature Optics of Proximity and Wide Field of View. The required form accuracy P-V $0.2{\mu}m$ and surface roughness is Ra 10 nm. The design of experiment(DOE) is adopted to find a optimal cutting conditions which are spindle speed, depth of cut, feedrate. Finally, the effects of this study are replacing importation and strengthening competitiveness through the localization of the Subminiature Optics of Proximity and Wide Field of View.

  • HCPV(High Concentrated PV) systems have well known for CPV market all over the world. Low concentration type silicon based modules have been introduced in the market. But low cost of standard flat silicon modules made them useless nowadays. High cost of compound semiconductor solar cell reduced cost effective cpv module production than that of recently silicon solar cell. In order to overcome increasing cost of CPV module, we study middle concentration type fresnel lens simulation using concentrated type silicon based solar cell. Linear type fresnel lens made production of CPV module without secondary optics such as light pipe or light tunnel. This type of fresnel lens design makes more cost effective solution for cpv niche market.
