In this study, the control characteristics and effects of heating control methods on the heating performance and energy consumption of a hot-water heating control system of a residential apartment were researched by simulation and experiment. The purpose of this study is to evaluate operational strategies for improving an indoor thermal environment and reducing f energy consumption in the radiant floor heating system of a residential apartment.

APT cyber attacks have been a problem for over a past decade, but still remain a challenge today as attackers use more sophisticated techniques and the number of objects to be protected increases. 'Cyberattack Tracing System' allows analysts to find undetected attack codes that penetrated and hid in enterprises, and to investigate their lateral movement propagation activities. The enterprise is characterized by multiple networks and mass hosts (PCs/servers). This paper presents a data processing procedure that collects event data, generates a temporally and spatially extended provenance graph and cyberattack tracing paths. In each data process procedure phases, system design considerations are suggested. With reflecting the data processing procedure and the characteristics of enterprise environment, an operational architecture for CyberAttack Tracing System is presented. The operational architecture will be lead to the detailed design of the system.

In ground weapon systems, the design and analysis technology for water operation stability is a relatively unknown area compared to maritime weapon systems. Through this study, it was confirmed that our weapon system satisfies the criteria for stability on the water when considering the operational concept and operational performance. However, there is a limitation of the study that it did not perform verification tests on the actual system. Therefore, in the future research and weapon system acquisition process, a procedure to prove the stability through freeboard analysis using the actual system is required.

The paper discusses Cost and Operational Effectiveness Analysis (COEA) in the context of a military study system. The objectives of a study system, development of study programs, and management of studies are addressed. Basic cost-effectiveness models are presented and the COEA planning steps, analytical processes, and implementation discussed.

Weapon system is defined as a combination of primary system and logistics support system which are evaluated by capability and operational availability respectively. Weapon system developer thought that primary system was weapon system and also only primary system was important. Recent comparison of total life cycle cost showed that logistics support system was proved to be more important than primary system. However, until now no systematic approach to logistics support system development have applied in the area of developing support system and much money was exhausted by wrong logistics support system. We need to construct a universal metric for effectiveness of logistics support system and to cut out whatever activities or support elements which do not contribute to the metrics. This study describes a new approach under the name function approach to logistics support system development and also classifies five factors of failure frequency, stock out of frequency, administrative delay time, active repair time and logistic delay time that have influence on operational availability of logistics support system.

항공탑재 SAR 시스템은 유/무인 항공기에 탑재되어 고해상 영상정보 수집과 지상 이동 표적 탐지의 임무를 담당하는 영상 레이더 시스템으로, 선진국을 중심으로 운용되고 있으며 국내에서도 현재 개발이 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 항공탑재 SAR 시스템 운용을 위한 운용요구조건 및 운용 요구조건을 만족하기 위한 다중모드 및 실시간 SAR 시스템 운용개념에 대하여 기술한다. 항공 시스템과의 연동개념, 시스템 상태정의 및 천이개념, 임무정의파일 기반 임무수행 개념, 고장진단 및 관리개념, 촬영자료 저장 및 전송 개념에 대해 설명하고, 지상검증시험을 통한 SAR 시스템 운용개념 검증 결과에 대해 기술한다.

A dimensioning system in a manufacturing process is often complex, especially when a lot of operations are involved in the process. Determination of operational dimensions and tolerances becomes even more complicated if there exist inconsistencies between operational and design relationships among operational dimensions in machining. This chart furnishes a record of the relationships in an easy-to-grasp form, proves that sufficient stock for a cut is available even under adverse conditions, and also proves that separate operations, when taken together, will harmonize as desired. In this paper, various existing roles of the chart have been extended to an operational routing sheet by generating it automatically, providing machining conditions, and verifying operational tolerances.

Trusted operating systems (OS) provide the basic security mechanisms and services that allow a computer system to protect, distinguish, and separate classified data. This paper proposes a new concept of operating system security enhancement system which uses loadabel security kernel module (LSKM) or dynamic link library(DLL) and specific conditions for operational environment should be assumed.

Results from the Earth Radiation Budget Experiment (ERBE) will help interpret the data from the operational satellite system. However, a major problem exists because a follow-on experiment to ERBE is not planned until the late 1990`s. Meanwhile, it will be necessary to provide OLR estimates from the operational satellite system. Since 1973the outgoing long wave radiation(OLR) data have been obtained by the 10#m window radiance(AVHRR) estimation technique from he observation NOAA operational satellites. However, those data have not been universall if accepted because they are estimated from the radiance in but one narrow spectral regiou. However , this type of technique has not been exploited for use with data from the ]fIRS multispectral radiometer. Since the radiance data measured by HIRS contains more: information on atmospheric variables than the AVHRR, it is a potentially better instrument for operational estimates of the OLR In this study, results from model are better flux estimates than the AVHRR, The technique is then tested by comparing simultalleous AVHRR and HIRS OLR estimations with a radiation model flux calculation froml homogeneous atmospheric scenes at the regions of desert and subtropic ocean.

Operational strategy for inventory control in the distribution system has been given attention. If an individual enterprise implements the strategy, it is not easy to gain scale merits because of limited quantity or burden of inventory. In this study, we propose an operational strategy for inventory control that considers managerial integration of regional distribution centers (RDCs) and present a model of it. In a network of several RDCs, they could share inventory information and supply parts for others in case of an inventory shortage. And a numerical example of the network is illustrated, which compares two operational strategies, integration management of RDCs and individual management of them. The result shows total cost reduction in the strategy of integration management through the efficient inventory control of multi-echelon distribution.
