보행신호 운영에 따른 회전교차로의 효과 분석 (Effectiveness Analysis of Roundabout Based on the Operation of Pedestrian Signal)

  • 이 연구는 회전교차로의 운영효과를 다루고 있다. 연구의 목적은 보행신호 운영에 따른 회전교차로의 운영효과를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 교통시뮬레이션 프로그램인 VISSIM을 사용하였다. 이 연구에서는 보행신호 운영(7개), 교차로 유형(2개), 보행교통량(8개) 및 진입교통량(15개)에 따른 1,680개의 시나리오를 분석하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 4지 1차로 회전교차로는 유형 2, 4지 2차로 회전교차로는 유형 6이 다른 유형에 비해 운영효과가 좋은 것으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 보행신호 운영의 평균 지체가 비신호 횡단보도에 비해 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로, 4지 1차로는 표준 횡단보도가 2단 횡단보도에 비해 평균지체가 8.18% 감소하였다. 반면, 4지 2차로는 2단 횡단보도가 표준 횡단보도에 비해 36.53% 감소 효과가 있는 것으로 평가되었다.

Factors Affecting the Internal Audit Effectiveness of Steel Enterprises in Vietnam

  • This article provides empirical evidence on factors of internal audit (IA) characteristics affecting the internal audit effectiveness in steel enterprises in Vietnam. The study uses data from survey obtained from 114 responses representing owners, managers, and internal auditors from 38 steel enterprises in Vietnam for period from 2018 to 2019. Data collected is firstly checked with Cronbach's Alpha, then the EFA test, and the model linear regression is used to test the relationship between internal audit characteristics and internal audit effectiveness. Results reveal that internal audit effectiveness in steel enterprises in Vietnam is influenced by various internal factors, including the size of internal audit, the scope of internal audit, the capacity of internal auditors, the independence of internal auditor, and the operational bases and methods of internal audit. Based on the research results, the paper makes six recommendations: strengthening operational basis of IA; increasing the independence of IA; increasing the size and capacity of IA staff; expanding and not underestimate the scope of IA; and reforming the internal governance structure. These proposed recommendations could be applied, not only for steel companies in Vietnam, but also for other companies in Vietnam or other companies in jurisdictions that have similar conditions.

보행교통량 변화에 따른 회전교차로의 운영효과 (Operational Effectiveness of Roundabout by the Change of Pedestrian Traffic Volume)

  • 본 연구는 회전교차로의 운영효과를 다루고 있다. 회전교차로는 신호교차로에 비해 지체감소와 친환경적이라는 기존 연구결과에 따라 우리나라에서 설치가 고려되는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 보행교통량을 고려한 회전교차로의 운영효과를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 교차로 네트워크를 구성하고 보행교통량과 진입교통량에 따른 분석시나리오를 설정하고, 차량당 평균제어지체 비교 분석에 중점을 두고 있다. 이 연구에서는 VISSIM 프로그램이 교통 시뮬레이션 도구로 사용된다. 분석된 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보행교통량에 근거하여 지체를 분석한 결과, 보행교통량이 회전교차로의 운영에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 보행교통량이 증가할수록 회전교차로의 지체도 증가하여, 보행교통량 1,000인/시 일 때 1차로 회전교차로에서는 총 진입교통량 800pcph, 2차로 회전교차로에서는 1,600pcph 이상 진입 시 신호교차로가 회전교차로보다 운영효율이 높게 평가되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 첨단교통모델도시건설사업 대상 도시에 구축된 ITS 시스템들을 대상으로 운영효율 평가 척도를 개발하고 또한 이들을 시스템 운영효율 평가에 적용하는 방법론을 개발하여 실제 운영효율 평가에 적용함으로써 이들의 향후 구축될 ITS 시스템 운영효율 평가에의 활용 가능성을 검토하였다.

국내 로터리의 회전교차로 전환에 따른 운영효과 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of Operational Effectiveness Related to the Conversion of Rotary to Roundabout in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 회전교차로의 효과를 다루고 있다. 연구의 목적은 로터리를 회전교차로로 전환함에 따른 운영효과를 비교 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 국내에서 운영되고 있는 로터리 20개 지점을 조사하고, VISSIM을 통해 개선 전 후의 네트워크를 구축하며, 그 효과를 비교분석하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 국내의 로터리는 효과적인 회전교차로 운영을 위하여 기하구조 측면에서 많은 개선이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현재 교통량을 적용하였을 경우 로터리의 운영효과는 다소 좋은 것으로 나타나지만 그 차이는 매우 적은 것으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 도시부 로터리의 경우 교통량이 증가할수록 차량당 평균지체가 급격히 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 지방부의 경우 도시부에 비해 교통량이 적기 때문에 회전교차로의 평균속도는 로터리에 비해 약 10km/h의 속도저감효과를 갖는 것으로 평가되었다.

  • The conventional model of the heat engine involves the inconsistency with the real engine that the power becomes to be zero at the maximum effectiveness condition. In order to improve this defect, a new model of the heat engine is proposed, in which the heat loss from the heat source is taken into account. In accordance with this model, both the power and effectiveness have their respective extremum with respect to operating conditions, and the effectiveness always becomes to be zero when the power is zero.

군단급 간이분석 워게임모형을 이용한 군단 및 사단 작전분석 방안 연구 (A Study on Corps / Division Operation Analysis Using Simplified Corps Level Wargame Model)

  • Many different kinds of wargame models have been developed and used in training and analysis purpose. However, there has been few wargame model which analyze corps or division level operational analysis. Recently KIDA develops corps level operational analysis model based on START(simplified tool for analysis of regional treats) model developed by RAND. This model runs in a PC level with 2MB memory and provides one day combat results within 30 seconds. Only one or three person can operate this model and evaluate multiple corps level operational analysis including chemical effects, $C^3I$ capacity, new weapon system effectiveness and other qualitative effects. We tested this model and evaluated input and output data. We showed that this model can be applied in division level operational analysis also. As an example division level application procedure and sensitivity analysis data was provided. We also find some limitation and problems in the model and suggest application areas and improving methods.

군수 지원시스템 개발 방법에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of Logistic Support system)

  • Weapon system is defined as a combination of primary system and logistics support system which are evaluated by capability and operational availability respectively. Weapon system developer thought that primary system was weapon system and also only primary system was important. Recent comparison of total life cycle cost showed that logistics support system was proved to be more important than primary system. However, until now no systematic approach to logistics support system development have applied in the area of developing support system and much money was exhausted by wrong logistics support system. We need to construct a universal metric for effectiveness of logistics support system and to cut out whatever activities or support elements which do not contribute to the metrics. This study describes a new approach under the name function approach to logistics support system development and also classifies five factors of failure frequency, stock out of frequency, administrative delay time, active repair time and logistic delay time that have influence on operational availability of logistics support system.

  • The status and effectiveness of Bi-modal Tram is analyzed through the comparison of the transport effectiveness and operation cost between the public transportation systems (bus, light rail transit) considering the vehicle and operation characteristic of new transit system Bi-modal Tram. The standard operation schedule is established in consideration of the vehicle specification and operation characteristic of main public transportation modes, and then the annual average operation cost is estimated depending on the volume, speed, analysis length for respective public transportation mode. Through analyzing the operation cost and distribution characteristic of public transportation modes depending on the transport volume and travel speed, the operational efficiency suitable for the city is derived. It is concluded that the operational efficiency of Bi-modal Tram is superior to that of the bus and light rail transit on the aspect of travel volume and operation speed.

공학교육인증의 단일인증프로그램 운영실태 및 효과분석 (Analysis of Operational Status and Effectiveness of Single-Track Accredited Program in ABEEK)

  • This study was conducted using the literature review and survey research to analyze the operational status and effectiveness of the single-track accredited program, which has been mandatory since 2016. The research targets to achieve the purpose of the study were the nationwide engineering education accreditation system operating colleges, departments, and engineering education innovation centers. Finally, 183 copies were collected from faculty members at 69 colleges and 554 copies at the department level. As a result of the survey, the college recognized more positively about the operation of the single-track accredited program, and more than 50% of respondents said that there were difficulties due to the operation of the system. The contents required were analyzed and presented. Based on this, the engineering education accreditation system, including the single-track accredited program, suggested the direction of support at the government level and the ABEEK level to better settle down in the field of engineering colleges.
