  • 인증시스템은 보안운영체제시스템을 구성하기 위한 중요한 서브시스템 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 시스템에 접근하기 위해서 가장 먼저 거치게 되는 인증 절차 수행에 있어서 허가된 사용자의 접근만을 허용하고, 인증요청 메시지의 진위 여부를 확인시켜주는 기능과 사용자가 입력하는 중요 정보가 다른 사용자에게 유출되지 않도록 보장하는 기능을 추가한 다 단계 사용자 인증방법을 소개한다. 본 논문에서는 역할기반의 접근제어 시스템을 커널 내부에 구성하고, 사용자인증에 비밀번호와 하드웨어 장치인 스마트카드를 사용함으로써 강화된 사용자 인증 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • We consider a Direct Input Output Manufacturing System(DIOMS) which has a munber of machine centers placed along a built-in Automated Storage/Retrieval System(AS/RS). The Storage/Retrieval (S/R) machine handles parts placed on pallets for the machine centers located at either one or both sides of the As/Rs. This report studies the operational aspect of DIOMS and determines the optimal operating policy by combining computer simulation and genetic algorithm. The operational problem includes: input sequencing control, dispatching rule of the S/R machine, machine center-based part type selection rule, and storage assignment policy. For each operating policy, several different policies are considered based on the known research results. In this report, using the computer simulation and genetic algorithm we suggest a method which gives the optimal configuration of operating policies within reasonable computation time.

자바스레드를 이용한 운영체제 교육 (Operating System Education Using Java Thread)

  • 운영체제는 컴퓨터 시스템 자원의 관리 운용에 관한 과목으로서 컴퓨터 관련 전공자에게는 매우 중요하다. 운영체제의 내용 중에서 비동기 병행 프로세스 부분은 다른 부분에 비해서 매우 난이도가 높은 부분이다. 비동기 병행 프로세스 부분은 책의 설명이나 pseudo 코드만을 사용해서는 효과적인 학습효과를 거둘 수 없으므로 적절한 프로그래밍 언어로 구현된 병행 프로그램을 실행하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 비동기 병행 코드를 자바 스레드로 구현하였고, 구현된 코드를 운영체제 교육에 활용할 것을 제안하였다.

  • The clutch is a subcomponent of the transmission that is designed to engage and disengage power flow between the engine and the transmission. Recently, the engine power of automobile has been continuously increased because of customer's demand for the bigger one. As the engine power is increased, the vibration transmitted to the hydraulic clutch operating system has been increased. Therefore the demand for the reduction of clutch pedal vibration during the operation of the clutch system has been increased. This paper describes the pressure pulsation reduction characteristics of the damper cylinder which is applied to the hydraulic clutch operating system. And the purpose of this study is to confirm the availability of a simulation model and investigating the test results of hydraulic clutch operating system. The test results are compared with the simulation results. Therefore it may be concluded that the simulation model and test results will be very useful f3r the design of hydraulic clutch damper cylinder.

  • The study of the optimization of operating policy of AGV system, which is used in many factory automation environments has been proceeded by many researchers. The major operating policy of AGV system consists of routing and scheduling policy. AGV routing is composed with collision avoidance and minimal cost path find algorithm. To allocate jobs to the AGV system, AGV scheduling has to include AGV selection rules, parking rules, and recharging rules. Also in these rules, the key time parameters such as processing time of the device, loading/unloading time and charging time should be considered. In this research, we compare and analyze several operating policies of multiple loop-multiple AGV system by making a computer model and simulating it to present an appropriate operating policy.

  • This paper is a feasibility study on the calculation of operating cost in regards to the overall operation following the completion of a number of LRT lines currently in progress. Owing to the absence of operating experience in driveless LRT system at home, the difficulties lie in the assumption of the optimal operating budget applying domestic real situation. Nevertheless, with 34 years of accumulated operating experience in heavy rail transit system, Seoul Metro, the nation's biggest urban rail transit operator, performs O&M consultancy services for several on-going projects along with every effort to acquire know-how where the appropriateness of the cost estimation as a required deliverable is reviewed and a more efficient way is provided. The main focus of this study is to seek a method to calculate the optimal amount of operating expenses as well as a cost-effective alternative for possible weaknesses from the standpoint of the operator. The body of this paper discusses the five issues such as personnel cost, overhead, maintenance cost, additional purchase price, alternative investment fee from a more macroscopic point of view, and the conclusion deals with the adequacy of the reason for selection of institutions with various operating know-how.

유압 제어계에서 서보밸브 모델링을 위한 새로운 선형화 방정식의 제안 (A New Linearized Equation for Modelling a Servovalve in Hydraulic Control Systems)

  • In the procedure of the hydraulic control system design, a linearized approximate equation described by the first order terms of Taylor series has been widely used. Such a linearized equation is effective just near the operating point, However, pressure and flowrate in actual hydraulic systems are usually not confined near an operating point. This study suggests a new linearized flow equation for a servovalve as a modified form of the conventional linearized flow equation. Subsequently, a procedure to determine effective operating point for the new linearized equation is proposed. From the evaluations of time responses and frequency responses obtained from simulations for a hydraulic control system, the effectiveness of the new linearized equation and the procedure to determine effective operating point is confirmed.

  • Using the results of the expected busy periods for the dyadic Min(N, D) and Max(N, D) operating policies in a controllable M/G/1 queueing model, an important relation between them is derived. The derived relation represents the complementary property between two operating policies. This implies that it could be possible to obtained desired system characteristics for one of the two operating policies from the corresponding known system characteristics for the other policy. Then, upper and lower bounds of expected busy periods for both dyadic operating policies are also derived.

  • The large-eddy simulation(LES) was carried out to evaluate the drag and static pressure acting on the blade surface of a small-size axial fan(SSAF) under the condition of unsteady-state, incompressible fluid and three-dimensional coordination. The axial component of drag coefficient increases with the increase of operating load, but the radial components have negligible sizes regardless of operating loads. Otherwise, the static pressures acting on the blade surfaces of SSAF show different distributions around the operating point of D equivalent to the stall. Also, with the increase of operating load, the static pressures acting on the pressure and suction surfaces of blade concentrate at the tips and leading-edges as a whole.

  • This paper deals with the assessment of voltage sags regarding the variation of system operating conditions. In general, voltage sag assessment is performed by assuming the constant operating condition throughout the year. However, the assumption can lead to assessment errors in case of considerable changes of system operation condition. This paper presents a method to estimate ESF(expected sag frequency) considering the operating conditions according to the changes of power demand throughout the year.
