Hard IP Invisible PAB 의 밀링타입 Tear Seam 해석 방안 연구 (A Study on Opening Analysis of Milling type Tear Seam of Hard IP Invisible PAB Door)

  • In most of the passenger side airbag door in hard type IP today is designed with invisible tear-seam line. In order to design the tear-seam invisible, the tear-seam must be designed with required RWT (residual wall thickness) that is just thick enough to be broken by the PAB pressure on deployment and not by other surrounding impact forces. Hence, keeping the right optimum opening force is very important, and finding the right RWT became the key in designing the tear-seam. The study conducted in this paper describes the search for the optimum RWT around the tear-seam by using finite element method and the optimum RWT is suggested for milling type tear-seam having V-shape cross-section.

Discontinuous deformation analysis for reinforced concrete frames infilled with masonry walls

  • The structural behavior of reinforced concrete frame infilled with a masonry wall is investigated by the method of discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA). An interface element is developed and it is incorporated into DDA to analyze the continuous and discontinuous behavior of the masonry structure. The numerical results are compared with previous research and possess satisfactory agreement. Then the structural behavior and stress distribution of a reinforced concrete frame infilled with a masonry wall subjected to a horizontal force are studied. In addition, the justification of equivalent strut is assessed by the distribution of principal stresses. The results show that the behavior of the masonry structure is highly influenced by the failure of mortar. On the basis of the distribution of principal stress of the masonry wall in the reinforced concrete frame, the equivalent strut can be approximately substituted for the masonry wall without separation and opening. However, the application of equivalent strut to the masonry wall with separation and opening needs further study.

Influence of fracture characters on flow distribution under different Reynold numbers

  • Water inrush through the destruction of water resisting rock mass structure was divided into direct water inrush, key block water inrush and splitting water inrush. In the direct water inrush, the Reynolds numbers has a significant effect on the distribution of the water flow and vortex occurred in the large Reynolds numbers. The permeability coefficient of the fracture is much larger than the rock, and the difference is between 104 and 107 times. The traditional theory and methods are not considering the effect of inertia force. In the position of the cross fracture, the distribution of water flow can only be linearly distributed according to the fracture opening degree. With the increase of Reynolds number, the relationship between water flow distribution and fracture opening is studied by Semtex.

  • Due to excellent advantages such as better illuminative effects, considerable material savings and ease and rapidness of construction, the bolted ball-cylinder joint which is a new type joint system has been proposed in space truss structures. In order to reveal more information and understanding on the behaviour of bolted ball-cylinder joints, full-scale experiments on eight bolted ball-cylinder joint specimens were conducted. Five joint specimens were subjected to axial compressive force, while another three joint specimens were subjected to axial tensile force. The parameters investigated herein were the outside diameter of hollow cylinders, the height of hollow cylinders, the thickness of hollow cylinders, ribbed stiffener and axial force. These joint specimens were collapsed by excessive deformation of hollow cylinders, punching damage of hollow cylinders, evulsion of bolts, and weld cracking. The strain distributions on the hollow cylinder opening were mainly controlled by bending moments. To improve the ultimate bearing capacity and axial stiffness of bolted ball-cylinder joints, two effective measures were developed: (1) the thickness of the hollow cylinder needed to be thicker; (2) the ribbed stiffener should be adopted. In addition, the axial stiffness of bolted ball-cylinder joints exhibited significant non-linear characteristics.

개구부를 갖는 콘크리트 전단벽의 탄성안정 (Elastic Stability of Perforated Concrete Shear Wall)

  • 개구부를 갖는 콘크리트 전단벽을 두께가 얇은 직사각형 평판으로 모델화하였다. 판의 두가지 경계조건에 대한 안정해석 결과를 판좌굴계수 k로 표시하였다. 경계조건이 다른 변수로는 휨으로 인한 힘/연직하중비 .alpha., 수평 전단력/연직하중비 .betha. 및 개구부의 위치 및 크기 변화이다. 유한요소법에 의한 결과를 얻기 위하여 예제의 판을 27*9의 정사각형 요소로 분할하였으며 node에서 3가지 자유도를 갖는 c.deg. 유한요소를 택하였다. 일반적으로 개구부의 크기가 증가함에 따라 판 개구부가 판 중앙에서 자유연(free edge)으로 접근할수록 좌굴계수는 감소하는 현상을 보이고 있다.

유압브레이커의 수동 무단 타격력 제어기구 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Manually and Continuously Variable Impact Force Control Device Development for Hydraulic Breakers)

  • In this paper, the development of a manually and continuously variable impact force control mechanism for hydraulic breakers was studied. Generally, a hydraulic breaker has one or two piston strokes. Hydraulic breakers, which have two strokes, have two valve-switching ports and make short and long piston strokes. The piston stroke valve controls the piston stroke by opening and closing a short stroke-switching port. The short piston stroke mode is used to break soft rock, concrete, or asphalt. This stroke control valve system is not popular for small hydraulic breakers mounted on 1 to 14-ton excavators. To preserve the carrier-like excavator, proper breaking force is needed, and it can be easily controlled by multiple piston stroke control valves. The easiest way to control these breakers is to use several switching ports and valves but they are not easy to install in small hydraulic breakers and are expensive. To use only one switching port and valve, a method can be used to change the open area of the switching port to delay valve switching. This method provides multiple piston strokes.

압축공기에너지저장 시설에서 발생 가능한 압축공기 유출 및 화재 시나리오 분석 (Analyses of Scenarios Based on a Leakage of Highly Compressed Air and Fire Anticipated in CAES (Compressed Air Energy Storage) Facility)

  • 본 연구에서는 압축공기에너지저장 설비를 운영함에 있어 위험성이 크다고 분석된 '내조시스템 파손에 따른 압축공기 유출'과 '접근갱도 내 화재 발생' 리스크를 대상으로 시나리오를 작성하여 분석을 실시하였다. Bernoulli 방정식과 운동량 방정식을 결합하여 압축공기 분출에 따른 충격력을 계산하기 위한 식을 유도하였다. 이 식을 바탕으로 시나리오를 작성하여 충격력을 계산한 결과 충격력은 균열 직경의 제곱 및 압축공기의 압력에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 계절의 변화 및 화원의 위치에 따른 연기 확산 거동을 분석하기 위하여 4가지의 화재 시나리오를 작성하였다. 저장 공동 벽면 근처에서 화재가 발생한 경우는 10 m 떨어진 지점에서 화재가 발생한 경우보다 연기가 호흡한계선까지 하강하는 데 소요되는 시간이 더 짧은 것으로 나타났는데 이는 연기 파선단 전파로 인해 발생한 것으로 예측된다. 갱내로의 공기 유동 방향에 따라 연기의 확산 거동이 달라지기 때문에 겨울에 화재가 발생한 경우는 여름에 발생한 경우보다 연기의 확산속도가 빠르고 더 멀리까지 연기가 퍼지는 것으로 나타났다. 피난 시뮬레이션 해석 결과 여름과 겨울 화재에서의 피난요구시간(RSET)은 각기 262, 670 s로 분석되었다.

승용차 도어의 개폐 이음 저감을 위한 도어체커 개발 (Development of a Car Door Checker for Reducing Noise in Opening)

  • A door checker holds a car door at several opening angles and limits the maximum door opening, so that the door does not bump against to passengers. Recently, the performance of door checker becomes more important as the feeling of door opening and closing effects on the quality of a car. However, some of door checkers make squealing noise when they are used for ages, which causes consumer's complaints as well as decreasing commercial value of the product. In this study, after various experiments for the noise, we concluded that the major reasons of the noise are acceleration of wearing and loss of lubricant due to impurities in working parts. Therefore, we developed a new mechanism of door checker which can resolve the major reasons of the noise. The developed mechanism is effective to prevent inflow of impurities and loss of lubricant by locating working parts in the case. We also proved that the developed mechanism does not make any noise after the test of 50,000 times of operations.

수평 구름 바퀴가 적용된 신 유형 미서기 창문의 기밀성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Enhance of Air tightness Performance of a New Type Silding Window with horizontally Rolling Wheels)

  • 창문에서의 틈은 열 손실 뿐만 아니라 차음 성능에도 중대한 결함으로 작용되며, 특히 인체에 유해한 미세먼지 유입 경로로도 작용된다. 이러한 틈을 제거하기위해 많은 시도들이 이루어지고 있으나, 창문의 고유 기능인 이동특성으로 인해 해결하기 어려운 난제로 인식되어왔다. 본 연구는 이를 해결하기위해 수평 회전 휠과 곡선 레일을 적용한 새로운 유형의 미서기 창문을 제작하고, KS 시험 기준에 따라 사용성, 내구성, 기밀성능, 등의 성능 시험을 하였다. 시험 결과, 개폐력은 2000 N 중량의 창문에서 30 N, 개폐 반복성 시험에서는 100,000 cycles, 기밀성 시험에서는 10 Pa에서 $0.00m^3/(m^2h)$의 성능을 보여주었다. 상기 시험 결과, 새로운 구동 방식을 지닌 본 연구에서의 창문은 기밀성과 경제적 측면에서 새로운 접근 방식을 제시하고 있다.

고령자에 적합한 가공식품 마개의 Torque에 관한 연구 (A study on the Acceptable Cap Torque for Processed Food Containers)

  • Korea has become an aged society according to the UN specifications. The number of the aged population will increase drastically, and the number of single aged people will also increase. Products used in our daily life are manufactured within the normal capabilities of people. Thus, aged people have encountering problems in using them. Numerous products are used in our daily lives. The purpose of this study is to find the acceptable torque for aged people to open the caps of processed food containers. Depending on the size and shape of the opening hand, hand operation has been classified into three categories. A total of one hundred and nine people participated in this study. Fifty nine people in the 20-30 year old range and fifty people in their 60-70's. Results of the study are as follows: 1) For all categories the acceptable cap torque data for the aged people are established. To satisfy 95% of the aged people, it was found that $74N{\cdot}cm$ for type A caps, and $141N{\cdot}cm$ for B type caps. and $214N{\cdot}cm$ for type C were the acceptable torque levels. 2) The appropriate level of torque for opening the cap was found to be 70% of the maximum torque for the aged people.(71.4% for type A. 71.4% for type B. 72.2% for type C). 3) Capabilities of the 70's drops sharply in function related to opening cap (maximum torque, gripping force, and wrist movement range). 4) Among aged subjects, 65.0% for type A, 42.0% for type B, and 68.8% for type C, had difficulties in opening the container caps.
