A simulation by the TOPAS model, two dimensional finite difference model was performed on the flows through drainage lock gate for the Saemangeum tidal reclamation project. Analysis focus on the changes of intertidal zone areas according to the operation scheme of the gate. The intertidal zone areas were analyzed as $66{\sim}70\;km^2$ when the opening of the gate was 300 m. It occupied about $85{\sim}90%$ of intertidal zone areas compared to that the Mangyung sea basin was opened without sea-dike. It appeared to be the most effective in terms of securing enough intertidal zone areas when the gate was operated as inflowing sea-water after 2 day's drainage.

A 68-year-old man presented with a posterior tracheal wall injury caused by percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy. The wound was immediately covered with an absorbable polyglycolic acid sheet. Ten days after the injury, the perforation was closed with knotless sutures using a Castroviejo needle-holder through the tracheostomy. The successful repair in this case indicates the feasibility of the knotless suture technique for perforations. The technique is described in detail in this report. The patient was weaned from the mechanical ventilator on postoperative day 25. In cases of posterior tracheal posterior wall perforation, every effort should be made to repair the perforation through an existing opening.

Recently, the public postal service of Korea confronts with business environment changes such as the opening of postal market and appearance of the domestic competitive enterprises. It is the current state that the public postal service of Korea should have a competitive edge by the productivity improvement of business processes. In this paper, we proposed new working tables for manual letter sorting which is one of the important process in mail center. We suggested standard working method and standard time in a mail center Based on these, we established the procedure for setting up a fair day's work in other mail centers. By the result of this research, we expect that the productivity of the mail sorting operation will be increased.

Any track system needs major changes of its components during its life. The most economical solution is, if possible, to make all components reach their life limit during the major track rehabilitation operation. Usually, the rail does a role as the driving component for the objective: its life-time is equivalent to around 500 million tons of traffic on high speed lines. On the KTX line with 110 trains per day, this would correspond to around 16 years, which is probably too long for the elastic pads of a concrete slab track. The most economical solution should be to change them at an intermediate step of 8 years, without changing the rail, and then to change both the rail and elastic pad at 16 years intervals (some rail changes on the South East TGV line in France began 15 years after service opening at 260 km/h, but recent rails have better characteristics).

Treatment of mice with 0.04% anthranilic acid (AnA) as drinking water resulted in an apparent stimulation of pup's growth and food intake of mothers in their first lactations associated with an increased rearing rate and no alteration in plasma prolactin level. AnA showed no significant effects on the day of vaginal opening, the pattern of estrous cycles, plasma growth hormone level and endocrine organ weights of the female and male offspring. The growth of male offspring was significantly retarded by AnA, however, their reproductivity was quite normal. The results indicate the AnA can simulate lactation of mice through little modulation of endocrine systems.

Since the beginning of civilization, people live in the times that changes rapidly everyday. Above all things, In April, 2004 the first opening of KTX(high-speed railway) that has been considered as the greatest revolutionary project shrinks the whole nation into a quarter of a day life zone and has repeated the constant change and development. But now, In comparison with ordinary train system KTX fails to notice revenue for travel-product and other many factors of increased revenue. This study introduces and analyzes the present condition of high-speed railway and indicate 'the plan to increase revenue' and 'the effect of creating revenue' through a travel-product on the basis of the travel-products connected with KTX. This study focuses on 'KTX memory train travel' and propose revenue and advertisement-effect created from targeting the middle-aged market. In addition, For improving KORAIL's image and approaching the customer more and more friendly, it grasp diverse events and advertisement plans.

Since opening of the high speed railroad in Korea, service result of the last 5 years is commandable. About 236million passengers had taken KTX until February 2009, and number of trains in service per day during week-end increased from 128 to 181, meaning that it's grown about 40%. And MKBSF, one of indicators of the high speed railroad's reliability, registered 680,469Km at the end of the year 2008, witch is 6 times more than 121,000Km, contract base when KTX was introduced. With increasing number of trains in service, not only passengers use the high speed railroad more frequently, but also we assure its reliability through maintenance based on reliability. And actually we gather information concerning all kind of defects occurred during train circulation and then, analyse them, and eradicate their causes in order to improve the high speed railroad's reliability. This paper describes a verification test process to analyse causes of defective function about train's traction.

A 10 year old boy was admitted with blunt abdominal trauma by bike handle injury. The patient was operated upon for a generalized peritonitis due to pancreaticoduodenal injury. On opening the peritoneal cavity. complete transection of distal end of common bile duct and. partial separation between pancreas head and second portion of duodenum were found. Ligation of the transected end of the common bile duct. T-tube choledochostomy, and external drainage were performed. A pseudocyst was found around the head portion of the pancreas on the 7th postoperative day with CT. An internal fistula had developed between the pseudocyst and ligated common bile duct. The pseudocyst was subsided after percutaneous drainage. In the case of the undetermined pancreatic injury, percutaneous external drainage can be effective in treating the traumatic pancreatic pseudocyst in a pediatric patient.

Now a day, the Korean National Railroad is laking new agewith the opening of KTX (Korea Train Express). Korean National Railroad is planning using the GSM-r for put KTX and existing equipment to a good. GSM-R is radio communication method selected by ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System). So a new algorithm for train movement is necessary to radio communication form. This paper is come up with an algorithm for like that situation.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is frequently observed in intact middle-aged or older male dogs with symptoms ranging from asymptomatic to various symptoms such as urination, dyschezia, dysuria, tenesmus, and intermittent serosanguinous or clear serous exudate. A 4-year-old, intact male Welsh corgi with symptoms of intermittent hematuria and serosanguinous exudate at the urethral opening was diagnosed with BPH and intraprostatic hematocyst through ultrasonographic examination and cytology test. The dog was internationally adopted for reproductive purposes and needed to undergo BPH treatment while maintaining fertility. Thus, 2.5 mg finasteride was administered orally once a day for treatment option and therapeutic effects were observed, including loss of clinical symptoms and reduced prostate and intraparenchymal cyst size.
