Shortest path problems are among the most studied network flow optimization problems, with interesting applications in various fields. One such field is the route determination service, where various kinds of shortest path problems need to be solved in location-based service. Our research aim is to propose a route technique in real-time location-based service (LBS) environments according to user's route preferences such as shortest, fastest, easiest and so on. Turn costs modeling and computation are important procedures in route planning. We propose a new rest modeling method for turn costs which are traditionally attached to edges in a graph. Our proposed route determination technique also has an advantage that can provide service interoperability by implementing XML web service for the OpenLS route determination service specification.

This paper proposes a single sign-on scheme in which a mobile user offers his credential information to a home network running the OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative) service platform, to obtain user authentication and control a remote device through a mobile device using this authentication scheme, based on SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language). Especially by defining the single sign-on profile to overcome the handicap of the low computing and memory capability of the mobile device, we provide a clue to applying automated user authentication to control a remote device via a mobile device for distributed mobile environments such as a home network based on OSGi.

웹상에서 제공되던 지리정보서비스가 최근 모바일 GIS 기술의 발달로 인해 이동 단말기에서 서비스가 가능해졌다. 하지만 이동 단말의 가장 큰 목적 중 하나인 휴대성에 초점이 맞추어지다보니 데이터처리의 용량 부족과 통신 속도의 문제에 부딪히게 된다. 또한 현재 모바일 GIS에 지리정보 표현에 따른 표준이 없기 때문에 특정 포맷에 의존도가 높아서 유연성이 떨어진다. 본 연구에서는 국립지리원에서 제공하고 있는 DXF파일 포맷을 추출 및 인덱스화를 통해 경량화를 시키고, OGC(Open GIS Consortium)가 제안한 XML(eXtensible Markup Language) 기반의 표준 공간 데이터 포맷인 GML(Geographic Markup Language)로 변환기능을 수행하는 GML 생성기를 설계, 구현함으로써 추후 확장 및 호환이 용이하도록 설계하였고 이를 WIPI 에뮬레이터에 가시화한다.

현재 리눅스 기반 데스크탑 환경에서는 C, C++, JAVA와 같은 프로그램 언어로 작성된 프로그램을 개별적으로 처리할 수 있는 컴파일러들과 디버거들이 존재하지만, 소프트웨어 개발자들은 그래픽 환경 프로그래밍에 적합한 통합개발환경하에서 프로그램을 개발하기를 원한다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 부여 리눅스 기반 데스크탑 환경을 위한 통합개발환경을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 통합개발환경은 오픈 소스 기반 프로그램 도구인 Eclipse를 기반으로 통합개발환경에서 제공하는 컴파일, 디버깅과 같은 일반적인 기능들뿐만 아니라 XML 정보저장소(repository)를 활용하여 소스 코드 기반 소프트웨어 시험 자동화 기능을 통합하여 사용자가 체계적이고 계획적인 소프트웨어 테스트를 수행할 수 있도록 하며, 신뢰성 있는 소프트웨어 개발을 할 수 있도록 지원한다.

Plant, civil engineering and construction equipment data of overseas construction are obtained and then analyzed, classified and integrated by experts. With those refined data set, we built classification system and defined property information with reference to international standard (ISO 15926, IRDL). If class in ISO 15926 is predefined for equipment of interest, we used the class as is. If not, we created and defined new classes on the basis of ISO 15926 classes. If there is similar class for equipment of interest, extension or inheritance methods were used. As a result, classification system of five levels and 637 classes were built and construction equipment information were expressed in open structure of XML such as tree structure of classification system and detailed information with number equipments for each specific equipment. We also developed the electronic catalog system which is basically equipment information management system providing various product search functions.

UDDI is the open standard for distributed Web-based registry standard which supports registrations and discoveries of Web services. Recently, UDDI version 3.0 specifications were opened by OASIS UDDI Spec, technical committee. UDDI version 3.0 supports many useful functions, which are not supported in version 2.0 specification, such as nested query, enhanced find qualifiers, digital signatures subscription, etc. Despite of its merits, complexity of the standard and backward-compatibility support makes it difficult to adopt this standard in real application domains. In this paper, we develop the Registry server which support UDDI version 3.0 standard. This server is based on common RDBMS and it supports all functions of UDDI version 3.0 including backward-compatibility with version 2.0 API, XML digital signature and URI- based key schemes.

The purpose of the study is to develop an integrated knowledge structuring system for the domain of engineering, in which ontology-based literature mining, knowledge acquisition, knowledge integration, and knowledge retrieval are combined using XML-based tag information and ontology management. The system supports combining different types of databases (papers and patents, technologies and innovations) and retrieving different types of knowledge simultaneously. The main objective of the system is to facilitate knowledge acquisition and knowledge retrieval from documents through an ontology-based dynamic similarity calculation and a visualization of automatically structured knowledge. Through experimentations we conducted using 100,000 words economic documents reported in the "Go！ Japan" project for analyzing Japanese industrial situation, and 100,000 words molecular biology Papers, we show the system is Practical enough for accelerating knowledge acquisition and knowledge discovery from the information sea.

이 논문에서는 오픈 프레임워크를 사용하여 ASP를 개발하는데 적합하도록 향상된 ASP 개발 전용 프레임워크를 제안한다. 시스템은 MVC 개발 방법론과 쿼리 및 ASP정보를 XML로서 관리하도록 만들어진 프레임워크로서 고객의 요구 사항에 빠르게 대응하는 유연성과 개발자로서는 이미 만들어진 템플릿 소스를 상속받아 구현되어지는 기본 모델과 개발방법만 신경 쓰도록 하여 개발속도의 향상과 시스템의 무결성을 강화시키는 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 실험결과를 통해 기존에 개발하는 방식들에 비해 향상된 개발 속도와 모델 소스의 양이 기존에 비해 29% 정도만의 라인수를 가졌음을 보여준다.

인터넷과 WWW 이용의 급속한 증가로 인하여 인터넷 지리정보시스템의 보급이 확산되었다. 따라서 국내외의 분산된 다양한 데이터에 대한 접근이 가능하게 되었다. 하지만 웹을 통해 제공되어지는 지리정보 데이터의 이질성 때문에 지리정보를 공유하기가 어렵다. 그러므로 발생하는 데이터 구축에 대한 중복투자를 제거하고 지리정보 데이터의 상호 운용성(Interoperability)을 위해 본 논문에서 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)의 웹 매핑 표준 기술인 WMT(Web Mapping Testbed)의 OWS(OGC Web Service)에 기반 하여 Web 매핑 서버를 설계 및 구현하였다. 이는 인터넷상에서 데이터 공유 및 교환의 포맷인 XML 에 근간을 둔 GML 을 통해서 Web GIS환경에서의 상호운용성을 제공하고자 한다.

This Paper is implementing IPMP system based on Server/client Structured Linux. We referenced OpenIPMP System, which is a reference software of IPMP (Intellectual Property Management and Protection) solution. Using this system, we developed multimedia contents service providing system using MPEG-21's REL(XML), which is applicable to new media service environment.
