This study identifies the impact of social network service (SNS) on the spatial characteristics of retail stores locations in the hyper-connected society, which have been closely related to the everyday lives of urban residents. In particular, we focus on the changes in the spatial distribution of restaurants since the information retrieval process was added to the decision-making process of a consumer's restaurant selection. Empirically, we analyze restaurants in Seoul, Korea since the smart-phone was introduced. By applying the kernel density estimation and Moran's I index, we examine the changes in the spatial distribution pattern of restaurants during the last ten years for running, newly-open and closed restaurants as well as SNS popular ones. Finally, we develop a spatial regression model to identify geographic features affecting their locations. As the results, we identified geographical variables and online factors that influence the location of restaurants. The results of this study could provide important groundwork for food and beverage location planning and policy formulation.
The role of radiology department has been greatly increased in the past few years as the technology in the medical imaging devices improved and the introduction of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) to the conventional film-based diagnostic structure is a truly remarkable factor to the medical history. In addition, the value of using digital information in medical imaging is highly expected to grow as the technology over the computer and the network improves. However, the current medical practice, using PACS is somewhat limited compared to the film-based conventional one due to a poor image quality. The image quality is the most important and inevitable factor in the PACS environment and it is one of the most necessary steps to more wide practice of digital imaging. The existing image quality control tools are limited in controlling images produced from the medical modalities, because they cannot display the real image changing status. Thus, the image quality is distorted and the ability to diagnosis becomes hindered compared to the one of the film-based practice. In addition, the workflow of the radiologist greatly increases; as every doctor has to perform his or her own image quality control every time they view images produced from the medical modalities. To resolve these kinds of problems and enhance current medical practice under the PACS environment, we have developed a program to display a better image quality by using the ROI optical density of the existing gray level values. When the LUT is used properly, small detailed regions, which cannot be seen by using the existing image quality controls are easily displayed and thus, greatly improves digital medical practice. The purpose of this study is to provide an easier medical practice to physicians, by applying the technology of converting the H-D curves of the analog film screen to the digital imaging technology and to preset image quality control values to each exposed body part, modality and group of physicians for a better and easier medical practice. We have asked to 5 well known professional physicians to compare image quality of the same set of exam by using the two different methods: existing image quality control and the LUT technology. As the result, the LUT technology was enormously favored over the existing image quality control method. All the physicians have pointed out the far more superiority of the LUT over the existing image quality control method and highly praised its ability to display small detailed regions, which cannot be displayed by existing image quality control tools. Two physicians expressed the necessity of presetting the LUT values for each exposed body part. Overall, the LUT technology yielded a great interest among the physicians and highly praised for its ability to overcome currently embedded problems of PACS. We strongly believe that the LUT technology can enhance the current medical practice and open a new beginning in the future medical imaging.
The export demand for various public services of e-government is growing. This study defines the new services that are required in each step of export processes for public services in order to develop the new services for supporting the commercialization of the export public services. And the study arrives at a conclusion of the main problems and requirements of the current export processes for the public services through the previous literature, the open-ended questions and the focus group interview. The new services are divided into six steps including the general information and consultation of the export public services; specifically, 'evaluation of the export capabilities', 'information of export pubic services', 'network of export companies', 'knowledge exchange of export', 'guide map of export information' and 'place for communication'. Furthermore, the score test about importance of 14 detailed services and the ease of implement is conducted. Based on the results of the test, Portfolio Evaluation Quadrant analysis derives a conclusion that 'the guide map service of export information' in the step 5 is preferentially considered to be in need of implementation.

This paper aims to analyze the business types of 237 IoT based smart home companies in the world (launched during 1999~2014) which got global investment last few years. For this, the previous literatures trying to analze technology and service types of smart home are searched and the typology of the platform is discussed. Based on it, this research conceptualizes an analysis framework that includes three areas of smart home like home automation, home security, and energy efficiency with the three platform types like product, software, and service. This study concludes that the development of business type for IoT based smart home ecosystem is from the product to software and it can be a platform or not. In current status, there are a few platforms of product and software, but in the device management (16%) and thermostat (11%), companies are persuing more platform like. It is difficult to find the service platform in overall areas, for application based service has a few attractions in the investment market due to the lack of cloud infrastructure and data analytics. The following three are the implication to domestic market: 1) More active offering of API and SDK, 2) more active introduction of wireless Intenet network protocols, and 3) more active interoperability efforts and alliance activities are needed.
In this article we examine a unique data set of intraday fair disclosure(FD) releases to shed light on market efficiency within the trading day. Specifically, this paper analyze the response of stock prices on fair disclosure disseminated in real-time through KIND(Korea Investor's Network for Disclosure) on Korea stock exchange during the period from January 2003 to September 2004. We find that the prices of stock experiences a statistically and economically significant increase beginning seconds after the fair disclosure is initially announced and lasting approximately two minutes. The stock price responds more strongly to fair disclosure on smaller firm but the response to fair disclosure on the largest firm stock is more gradual, lasting five minutes. We also examine the profitability of a short-term trading strategy based on dissemination of fair disclosure. After controlling for trading costs we find that trader who execute a trade following initial disclosure generate negative profits, but trader buying stock before initial disclosure realize statistically significant positive profit after two minute of disclosure. Summarizing overall results, our evidence supports that security prices on Korea stock exchange reflects all available information within two minutes and the Korea stock market is semi-strongly efficient enough that a trader cannot generate profits based on widely disseminated news unless he acts almost immediately.

Many deaths have been reported due to the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19. In order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, it is necessary to quickly and accurately read images of suspected patients and take appropriate measures. To this end, this paper introduces a deep learning-based COVID-19 chest X-ray reading technique that can assist in image reading by providing medical staff whether a patient is infected. First of all, in order to learn the reading model, a sufficient dataset must be secured, but the currently provided COVID-19 open dataset does not have enough image data to ensure the accuracy of learning. Therefore, we solved the image data number imbalance problem that degrades AI learning performance by using a Stacked Generative Adversarial Network(StackGAN++). Next, the DenseNet-based classification model was trained using the augmented data set to develop the reading model. This classification model is a model for binary classification of normal chest X-ray and COVID-19 chest X-ray, and the performance of the model was evaluated using part of the actual image data as test data. Finally, the reliability of the model was secured by presenting the basis for judging the presence or absence of disease in the input image using Grad-CAM, one of the explainable artificial intelligence called XAI.
This study investigated the problems of remarried wife with alcoholic problem. Specifically, this study regarded the wife's alcoholic problem as the problems of dysfunctional interaction among family members rather than an individual problem. The study had three purposes as follows. First, what were the interactions sustaining the conflict of remarried family? Second, what were the characteristics of remarried family relating to family conflict? Third, what were the interventions of family therapy to resolve the conflicts of remarried family? The total family counseling was 9 sessions, which included individual, couple, and family counseling. The study used constant comparative analysis by using open coding method to find the factors relating interactions sustaining the conflict of remarried family, the characteristics of remarried family relating to family conflict, and the interventions of family therapy to resolve the conflicts of remarried family. Also, the study used Miles and Huberman's matrix and graphical network display to show the interaction of family members. The study found intriguing factors, counteracting factors, relationship level, and relational elements to wife's alcoholic problems among family members. The study revealed husband's rigid family rules, husband's execution of patriarchal authority, husband's pursuit of family identity, and husband's emphasis of union among family members as the characteristics of remarried family. On the other hand, the study found the reinforcement of spousal subsystem, the pursuit of change in communication pattern between husband and wife, the amelioration of rigid family rules, and the acceptance of differences among family members as the intervention of family therapy to resolve the conflicts of remarried family.

DCS (Distributed Control System), the main control system of power plants, is an automated system for enhancing operational efficiency by monitoring, tuning and real-time operation. DCS is becoming more intelligent and open systems as Information technology are evolving. In addition, there are a large amount of investment to enable proactive facility management, maintenance and risk management through the predictive diagnostics. However, new upcoming weaponized malware, such as Stuxnet designed for disrupting industrial control system(ICS), become new threat to the main control system of the power plant. Even though these systems are not connected with any other outside network. The main control systems used in the power plant usually have been used for more than 10 years. Also, this system requires the extremely high availability (rapid recovery and low failure frequency). Therefore, installing updates including security patches is not easy. Even more, in some cases, installing security updates can break the warranty by the vendor's policy. If DCS is exposed a potential vulnerability, serious concerns are to be expected. In this paper, we conduct the penetration test by using NESSUS, a general-purpose vulnerability scanner under the simulated environment configured with the Ovation version 1.5. From this result, we suggest a log analysis method to detect the security infringement and react the incident effectively.
Objectives : We studied the ISP(information strategy plan) of oasis spanning 5 years. From this study we aimed at total road map to upgrade the service systematically and to carry out the related projects. If we do it as road map, oasis will be the core infra service contributing to the improvement of TKM(traditional korean medicine) research capability. Methods : We carried out 3 step ISP method composed of environmental analysis, current status analysis and future plan. We used paper, report and trend analysis document as base materials and did the survey to get opinions from users and TKM experts. We limited this study to drawing the conceptual design of oasis. Results : From environmental analysis we knew that China and USA built up the largest TM databases. We did the survey to get the activation ways of oasis. And we did the benchmarking on the advanced services through current status analysis. Finally we determined 'maximize the research value based the open TKM knowledge infra' as oasis' vision. And we designed oasis' future system which is composed of service layer, application layer and contents layer. Conclusion : First TKM related documents, research materials, researcher information and standards are merged to elevate the TKM information level. Concretely large scale TKM information infra project such as TKM information classification code development, TKM library network building and CAM research information offering are carried out at the same time.
The work breakdown structure and the precedence relations by work activity are very important because they are the basic data for estimating the construction duration in the construction work. However, there is no standard to accurately estimate the construction duration since the size of the school facilities construction is smaller than the general construction work. Therefore, some schools are unable to open in March or September and the delay of the construction duration can cause damage to the students. To solve this problem, this study developed a work breakdown structure of school facilities construction work and analyzed the precedence relations by work activities. The work breakdown structure of the school facilities construction is composed of three steps. The operations corresponding to level 1 and level 2 are as follows. (1) 2 preparatory work categories; preparation period and temporary construction. (2) 17 architectural work categories; temporary construction, foundation & pile work, reinforced concrete work, steel roof work, brick work, plaster work, tile work, stone work, waterproof construction, wood work, interior construction, floor work, metal work, roof work, windows construction, glazing work and paint construction. (3) 7 mechanic and fire work categories; outside trunk line work, plumbing work, air-conditioning equipment work, machine room work, city gas plumbing work, sanitation facilities and inspection & test working. (4) 4 civil work categories; wastewater work, drainage work, pavement work and other work. (5) 1 landscaping work categories; planting work. The work breakdown structure was derived from interviews with experts based on the milestones and detailed statements of existing school facilities. The analysis of precedence relations by school facilities work activity utilized PDM(Precedence Diagramming Method)which does not need a dummy and the relations were applied using FS(Finish to Start), FF(Finish to Finish), SS(Start to Start), SF(Start to Finish). The analysis of this study shows that if one work activity is delayed, the entire construction duration may be delayed because the majority of the works are FS relations. Therefore, it is necessary to use the Lag at the appropriate time to estimate the standard construction duration of the school facility construction. Lag is a term used only in the PDM method and it is used to define the relationship between the predecessor and the successor in creating the network milestone. And it means the delay time applied to the two work activities. The results of this study can reasonably estimate the standard construction duration of school facilities and it will contribute to the quality of the school facilities construction.
