  • This paper deals with 28, 56, 91 days age compressive strength and ratio of weight when OPC and Low-Heat cement mortar immersed in chemical solution. As a result of experiment, the resistance of Low-Heat Cement motar in chemical attack is more effective than that of OPC, because of lower $C_3$A content and Pozzolanic reactions. Especially in long term age compressive strength, Low-Heat cement mortar shows higher strength in all kind of chemical solution compared with compressive strength of OPC motar.

그리고 ORC(optical rule checking)를 통해 original layout과 aerial image의 EPEs(edge placement errors)를 검사하여 검증에 걸리는 시간을 감소시켰다.

  • The stress and displacement behavior analysis of an aluminum tube for an organic photo conductor drum has been presented using a finite element analysis technique by non-linear FEM program. The maximum displacement in the radial direction of OPC drum may directly affect to the quality of printed matter. Thus, the deformed profile of the aluminum tubes should be limited depending on the toner powder size and the contact rolling forces between an OPC drum and a paper. This paper recommends the critical loading of 400 Pa for the provided toner size, $8{\mu}m$ for excellent printed matters and long life of the toner cartridge.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the basic properties of polyester mortars using ground calcium carbonate(GCC), blast furance slag(BFS), fly ash(FA), ordinary portland cement(OPC) as fillers. Particle size distribution, particle shape and resin absorption of GCC, BFS, FA and OPC are checked. Polyester mortars with GCC, BFS, FA and OPC are prepared with various MEKPO content and tested for working life. The flexural and compressive strengths of the polyester mortars with MEKPO content of 0.5phr are evaluated. As a test result, the average sizes of GCC, BFS, FA and OPC are 9.7$\mu\textrm{m}$, 11.6$\mu\textrm{m}$, 21.2$\mu\textrm{m}$, 29.9$\mu\textrm{m}$. Resin absorption of FA is 1.5times larger than other fillers. The polyester mortar with FA at a MEKPO content of 0.5phr has the longest working life and the maximum flexural and compressive strengths.

  • Dispersion management (DM), optical phase conjugation (OPC), and the combination of DM and OPC are promising techniques to compensate for optical signal distortion due to group velocity dispersion and nonlinear Kerr effects. The system performance improvement in DM links combined with OPC has been reported; however, the fixed residual dispersion per span (RDPS) usually used in these links restricts the flexibility of link configuration. Thus, in this paper, a flexible optical link configuration with artificially distributed single-mode fiber (SMF) lengths and RDPS in the combination of DM and OPC is proposed. Simulation results show that the best artificial distribution pattern is the gradually descending distribution of SMF lengths and the gradually ascending distribution of RDPS, as the number of fiber spans is increased, regardless of the average RDPS, the optimal net residual dispersion, and the dispersion coefficient of the dispersion compensating fiber.

  • The system performance improvement in dispersion managed (DM) links combined with optical phase conjugator (OPC) for compensating for optical signal distortion due to group velocity dispersion and nonlinear fiber effects has been reported. However, in DM link combined OPC, the equalities of the lengths of single-mode fibers (SMFs), the length of dispersion compensating fibers (DCFs), the dispersion coefficient of DCF, and the residual dispersion per span (RDPS) with respect to an OPC restrict a flexible link configuration. Thus, in this paper, we propose a flexible optical link configuration with inequalities of link parameters, the so-called "pseudo-symmetric configuration." Simulation results show that, in the restricted RDPS range of 450 ps/nm to 800 ps/nm, the improvement in the system performance of the proposed pseudo-symmetrically configured optical links is better than that of the asymmetrically configured optical links. Consequently, we confirmed that the proposed pseudo-symmetric configuration is effective and useful for implementing a reconfigurable long-haul wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) network.

  • In this paper, new and simple optical transmission link with fixed dispersion management (DM) scheme, i.e., pre(post) compensation and residual dispersion per span (RDPS) are fixed to net residual dispersion (NRD) = 0 ps/nm, and optical phase conjugator (OPC) having optimal position depending on launch power in WDM transmission system is proposed. Also, effective launch power range of WDM channels resulting 1 dB eye opening penalty (EOP) is induced as a function of OPC position. First, it is confirmed that, for applying DM into WDM transmission link fixed pre(post)compensation and RDPS, which are independence on exact system parameters except launch power, sufficiently are used in WDM links, but OPC with optimal position is needed for effective compensating impairments of WDM channels. And, it is confirmed that effective launch power is broader in case of RDPS = 100 ps/nm than in RDPS = 50 ps/nm. But, it is shown that the best OPC position offset is -0.6 km from a point of view of power window, which is defined as difference between maximum and minimum effective launch power.

  • Smart grid is called it as a system of systems. There are diverse types of systems in smart grid environment. Therefore, one of key factors to achieve smart grid successfully is interoperability among diverse systems. To secure interoperability, smart grid operating system should be developed complied with standards in terms of the data representation and communication. Common Information Model (CIM) and OLE Process for Control - Unified Architecture (OPC-UA) are the representative international standards in smart grid domain. Each standard defines data representation and communication by providing common information model and the unified architecture. In this paper, we explain a smart grid platform that we have developed to comply with CIM and OPC-UA standards for secure interoperability among numerous legacy systems.
