Online games are the popular topic due to the increased total online game market volume nowadays. And many studies on online games are released. But most studies used the questionnaire method that reveals only section of the situation like a snapshot. For this reason, previous studies have a little limitation that does not show dynamical changing issues like a product life cycle and changes in customer's mind Because of this, we studied on online games with the system dynamic model which can show dynamic simulations to analysis time series data. We chose MMORPG (Massively Multi-play Online) RPG (Role Playing Game) in sort of online games because it has many absorbing factors and enthusiastic users. We designed the simulation model which analyzes the influences of update and CRM strategy on users. We put the game developer who is ready for updated version game and released that periodically and focused on dormant users who used to be enthusiastic about MMORPG. The simulation results showed that the update has positive influences on new users gathering and hold established users. And CRM strategies help to prevent dormant users from transferring to rivals by offering them re-absorbing factors. Through this study, we confirmed the importance of update on online games and the necessity of introducing CRM strategy in the online game market.

In the domain of IS, game was used as a tool to enhance the results of decision making, education and more. In another stream of research, researchers focused on revealing the motive of people playing games. This study focuses on the effect of the tool; increased accessibility via mobile, to online game using patterns and behaviors. Due human reaction towards competition, technology acceptance and the online game's gambling traits, it is expected that the increased mobile accessibility (tool) will increase and intensify the game playing behavior. In depth interview with both game service providers and players is planned to confirm that the mobile version acted as a tool to increase accessibility, rather than a additional game. Survey along with an interview is to be conducted to find relevant play and spending patterns if they are to exist.

Chinese users more stress on enjoyment of interaction and Korean users more emphasize on enjoyment of the achievement.
In the current online game field, many studies on the realization of AI have been carried out. It is, however, very hard to apply smart AI to the online games due to the limited use of resources. The Fuzzy extension method this thesis presents is suitable to online games because it causes less loads in the system and makes it possible to realize more human-like AI. To realize this kind of AI, this paper suggests AI system design methods suitable to fuzzy-based online game and presents practical plans to apply them through the produced demos.

Among the various security threats in online games, the use of game bots is the most serious problem. In this paper, we propose a framework for user behavior analysis for bot detection in online games. Specifically, we focus on party play that reflects the social activities of gamers: In a Massively Multi-user Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), party play log includes a distinguished information that can classify game users under normal-user and abnormal-user. That is because the bot users' main activities target on the acquisition of cyber assets. Through a statistical analysis of user behaviors in game activity logs, we establish the threshold levels of the activities that allow us to identify game bots. Also, we build a knowledge base of detection rules based on this statistical analysis. We apply these rule reasoner to the sixth most popular online game in the world. As a result, we can detect game bot users with a high accuracy rate of 95.92%.
