블록체인을 이용한 중고거래 플랫폼 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Used-goods Market Platform Using Blockchain)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 중고거래 플랫폼에 블록체인 기술을 활용할 필요성 및 가능성에 대해 검토하였다. 현재의 온라인 중고거래는 플랫폼에서 안전거래 시스템을 운영하고 있으나 상대적으로 높은 수수료율로 인해 활성화하는데 어려움이 있다. 또한 플랫폼에서 악의적인 의도로 판매/구매 행위를 했던 사람에 대한 정보를 얻기가 어렵다는 한계가 있다. 이로 인해 직거래와 같은 높은 거래비용을 지불하는 방식이 주로 이용된다. 본 연구는 블록체인 기술의 특징을 활용하여 온라인 중고거래 시장에서 문제가 되고 있는 개인정보 보호, 정보의 왜곡/누락, 사기 행위 등의 문제를 해소 혹은 완화할 수 있는 플랫폼 구축 방안을 논의하였다. 제안한 플랫폼에서는 블록체인 기술의 종류 및 특징들을 적절히 반영함으로써 거래 진행 과정에서 발생 가능한 주요 사기행위 및 개인정보 보호 문제 등을 해결할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 향후 연구에서는 본 연구에서 제안한 플랫폼을 적용하기 위한 법제도 및 기술 개발 방안에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

  • The growth of the online market is accelerating due to the development of technology and the pandemic era. The delivery service through the courier must be used to deliver the ordered goods to the customer through the online market. With the growth of the online market, the logistics market for delivery is also growing. The traffic and environmental problems are emerging as social issues. Urban logistics technology using underground space based on the urban railway developed to improve logistics efficiency in a metropolitan area and a new alternative to environmental problems. This study proposed a plan to secure system safety through safety analysis based on operational concept definition and scenario analysis by applying model-based perspective analysis to the system under development.

  • Online exchange is a cost-effective approach to trade goods and information among multiple sellers and buyers. Shipping industry includes lots of global entities such as shippers, liners, ship owners and shipping agents. Marine insurance companies and ship repairers and many other groups are also supporting the industry. However, international shipping exchanges are located on few cities in the world. Its our motivation that a shipping market can be online so that market participants do the dealing while sitting where they are with more efficient manner, preferable price and larger pool of candidates of trading partners. This paper presents Korean governmental project of building a cyber shipping exchange. The exchange covers ship sale and purchase, charter, insurance, freight futures, repairs, supplying of ships oil and database service. The workflows of each business were analyzed and designed to fit for online environment. The project includes design of trading mechanism, online documents, data flow, data storage and security. Online match making and trading mechanisms such as auction, reverse auction, bid are used. The whole trading process involves multiple organizations and business processes. So, this Paper focuses on how each organization would play their roles so that users can complete transactions with integrated and transparent view. The online exchange selves also as maritime portal site that links to other sites for cooperation vertically or horizontally, and serves database and information in global perspective.   • 본 연구는 중고거래 온라인 플랫폼 중 국내 대표 서비스인 당근마켓과 번개장터를 중심으로 보안 관련 서비스에 관한 사용자 경험을 측정하는 데 목적이 있다. 모바일 애플리케이션을 이용한 태스크 실험과 설문조사 및 심층인터뷰를 진행하여 정성적, 정량적 연구를 진행했다. 연구 결과 현 중고거래 플랫폼 내의 안전성과 보안성 관련 서비스를 사용자들이 더욱더 쉽게 인지 할 수 있도록 적극적인 인터페이스가 필요하고, 판매자에게도 이익 실현이 이루어지는 거래방식이 필요하며, 보안성을 강화하기 위해 제공되고 있는 서비스 또한 지속해서 그래픽(Graphic) 요소의 시인성을 높여야 한다. 이 연구는 구매자가 판매자가 되는 C2C 형태의 플랫폼에서 보안성 측면을 고려한 안전한 중고거래 플랫폼의 지속적인 발전에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

온라인 중고제품 구매에 관한 지각된 위험과 구매의도: 온/오프 중고품 구매경험의 조절효과 (Examining the Moderating Role of Purchase Experience in the Relationship between Perceived Risk and Purchase Intention of Online Used Goods)

  • In the ever-increasing online secondhand product market, the perceived risk of online used products purchase was identified as a factor influencing consumer purchase intention. The results of this study are as follows. First, the relationship between the perceived risk of online secondhand purchase and purchase intention was presented with somewhat different results for each sub-risk factor. First of all, a significant negative causal relationship between physical risk, time loss risk, psychological risk, social risk and online used product purchase intention was verified. On the other hand, financial risk and functional risk did not show a statistically significant relationship with online used products purchase intention. Second, as a result of research on the moderating effect of purchasing experience, offline purchasing experience of used products and online purchasing experience were verified differently. First of all, the moderating effect of the online purchase experience of used products was significant only in the relationship between psychological and social risks on the intention to purchase used products online. The experience of purchasing used products online is believed to reduce uncertainty about the surrounding response to purchasing used products online and weaken the intention to purchase used products online by reducing tension and concerns about purchasing them. Other risks, such as financial risk, performance risk, physical risk, time loss risk, and online purchase experience of used products, were verified to have no significant effect on online used products purchase intention. In addition, the offline purchase experience of used products did not verify a significant moderating effect on the effect of all perceived risks on online used product purchase intention.

리테일테인먼트에 따라 구매특성과 구매효용이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Nature of Purchase and Purchase Utility on Purchase Intention According to Retailtainment)

  • Purpose - The development of technologies lead the volume of sale on online market increase but an off-line shopping center is still a core component in the omni-channel strategy. It is generally thought that high-level retailtainment on brick and mortar store affects purchase intentions positively, but some previous studies dispute that and have reported that retailtainment does not affect purchase intentions. So we have studied the additional factors' effect - the nature of purchase and utility - with retailtainment. Research design, data, and methodology - There are 8 treatment groups which were assigned by the method of retailtainment (high vs. low), nature of purchase (essential vs. non-essential), and utility (acquisition vs. transaction). A total of 240 subjects (office workers = 163, 68%; undergraduates = 77, 32%; average age = 30s; female = 39%) were divided into groups and exposed to one of the eight scenarios. Participant's purchase intention was the dependent, and ANOVA and L-matrix were used to analyze for main and interactive effects between factors. Results - First, the main effect and interactive effect between retailtainment and the nature of purchase are significant. We also found that the contrast between essential and non-essential at low-level retailtainment is higher than that of high-level retailtainment. Second, in the case of retailtainment and utility, transaction utility under high-level retailtainment affects purchase intentions positively. Third, between the nature of the purchase and utility, the main effect of the nature of purchase and the interactive effect is significant, but the main effect of utility is not significant. In the case of non-essential goods, the purchase intention was high when transaction utility was provided but in the case of essential goods, acquisition utility increased purchase intentions. Finally, when transaction utility is given, purchase intentions of essential goods increase under low retailtainment, and the purchase intentions of non-essential goods increase under high retailtainment. Conclusions - When customers buy essential goods, discounts decrease purchase intentions. During the season for bargain sales, purchase intentions increase when retailtainment of essential goods is low, and retailtainment of non-essential goods is high.

Distribution Channel Preference Accessing 'Korean Wave' in China : Comparing Official and Unofficial Channel

  • Purpose - China has become the world's largest market of Korean culture goods. However the distribution and information channel from which Chinese consumers can access to Korean contents remains under-explored. This study aimed to investigate Chinese consumers' information accessing behavior. Research design, data, and methodology - We collected the sample of 800 customers who are exposed to Korean Wave in China. Regression analysis is used to confirm the relationships in the research model. Results - The results showed that official channels such as state owned sites still play a significant role, Chinese consumers prefer to use unofficial channels and the private SNS is the most popular one. It is also found that users with low interests in Korean contents prefer offline/indirect channels while people who are highly immersed into Korean culture and spend longer time on it tend to favor online/unofficial channels. The results confirms that there are some users' characteristics such as gender, age, income and experience of visiting Korea are relevant to explain their propensity to select distribution and information channels for Korean contents. Conclusions - The study enables managers to develop the more effective distribution channel strategies according to the different target consumer groups.

표준화를 통한 전자상거래의 영역 확장: 중고의류 시장 사례 분석 (Expansion of the Scope of Electronic Commerce by Standardization: An Analysis a Secondhand Clothing Market)

  • 1995년 역사적 첫 배너광고 판매 거래 이후 전자상거래는 명실공히 새로운 유통채널로 자리매김 하였다. 20년 이상의 역사 속에 소비자의 자연스러운 소비 습관이 되어 경험 부족은 더 이상 전자상거래의 발전을 늦추는 이유가 될 수 없게 되었고, 그 규모를 계속 확장하며 이제 기존 유통채널을 위협하는 존재로 성장하였다. 하지만 이러한 전자상거래 시장의 지속적인 성장에도 불구하고, 자산 특유성이 높거나 설명 복잡성이 높은 상품의 경우, 소비자가 상품의 품질을 검증하는 것이 제한적일 수밖에 없는 전자상거래의 한계로 인해, 온라인 시장으로의 진출 및 확장은 힘들 것으로 여겨져 왔다. 특히, 이러한 조건 하에서 기존 사용자에 따라 품질의 차이가 많이 나고 설명 난이도가 높은 중고품의 온라인 거래 활성화는 거의 불가능한 것으로 여겨져 왔다. 중고품의 경우 상품에 대한 많은 정보를 가진 판매자 대비 정보를 많이 가지지 못한 구매희망자 간 정보 비대칭성으로 더욱더 시장의 성립이 힘들 수 있다는 것이 또한 온라인 중고거래에 대해 부정적인 시선을 갖게 하는 이유이다. 하지만, 본 논문에서 이와 같은 한계를 인공지능(AI)에 기반한 동적 가격 분석과 예측을 통해 문제 가능성을 최대한 낮춤으로써 극복하고, 품질 평가 표준화를 통하여 전자상거래 최고 거래 난이도의 중고 의류소매업에 전례 없이 성공한 thredUP의 사례분석을 통해 전자상거래, 특히 온라인 중고거래의 향후 발전 방향과 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

쇼핑정보원 활용에 따른 해외여행자 시장세분화 및 세분시장 특성 연구 (Tourism Market Segmentation Based on Shopping Information Sources)

  • This study confirmed the types of shopping information sources during travel abroad, and developed a profile of tourists in terms of demographics, travel, and shopping behavior. Shopping information sources and characteristics of shopping products were identified first. Thereafter, travelers were segmented by their information-seeking behavior. An online survey method was used to get data from Korean vacationers in their 20s-50s, while factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test and ANOVA were applied to analyze data. The results were as follows. First, the shopping information sources of overseas tourists were composed of four factors including sources from travel agents/media, information from travel books and local sources, and word-of-mouth sources. Also, four factors in product types and four product attributes were identified. Second, tourists were clustered into two groups, active and passive shopping information seekers, based on shopping source behavior. Third, two groups differed in terms of demographics, showing an older age and higher income for active shopping source seekers. Active shopping information users tended to join package trips with family members, and they were more satisfied with the trip. With regard to shopping, active shopping source seekers spent more money for shopping and preferred all kinds of shopping goods with an emphasis on travel shopping. In conclusion, shopping information sources seemed to be a meaningful tool for segmenting tourists. Rich, older, family tourists would be an major target market for local retailers.

DEA와 Malmquist 생산성지수를 이용한 우리나라 온라인쇼핑업체의 다기간 경영 효율성 분석 (Evaluating the Multi-Period Management Efficiency of Domestic Online-Shopping Companies)

  • Purpose - Online shopping enables consumers to conveniently purchase products irrespective of the time and place. As a result, several online shopping companies have emerged to cater to this growing market and, therefore, the competition among them has become increasingly intense. This paper evaluates the comparative efficiency of online shopping companies for a multi-year period (2009-2013), in order to help online shopping managers identify major drivers for enhancing management efficiency and the subsequent competitiveness. Research design, data, and methodology - The researchers collected the data from 2009 to 2013 from the distribution yearbook. This paper analyzes the marketability (sales figures), profitability (business profits), and management conditions (net profits) of domestic online shopping enterprises by incorporating information on human resources (number of employees) and material resources (total assets and capital). Therefore, the number of employees, total assets, and capital are selected as input variables, and sales figures, business profits, and net profits as the output variables. In this study, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was used to measure the comparative efficiency of domestic online shopping companies. In addition, the Malmquist Productivity Index was used to evaluate the trend of change of Decision Making Units' (DMUs') efficiency for a multi-year period. Results - First, as of 2013, Interpark (2.415) was found to be the most efficient online shopping enterprise, followed by Aladdin Communications (2.117), Hyundai Home shopping (1.867), Home&Shopping (1.176), NS Home shopping (1.170), Commerce Planet (1.126), CJ O Shopping (1.105), Ebay Korea (1.088), and GS Home Shopping (1.051). Second, this study recognizes how the management efficiency has changed for the period 2009-2013. Third, the lesser the capital and employees, the more are the net profits, and the better is the management efficiency of domestic online shopping companies. Lastly, the productivity of such companies is influenced by endogenous factors rather than exogenous factors such as shifts in business environment and technological advances. Conclusions - DHC Korea influenced various distribution channels to reach customers through the Internet. Consequently, this helped in increasing the awareness about its products, in addition to an increase in sales. These achievements can be attributed to the characteristics of online shopping companies. Although it is easy for these companies to suggest goods for one-off purchases, they however have difficulties in retaining customers. Overcoming this challenge can be one of the ways to benchmark a successful case of an efficient company. For example, an online shopping company can attract customers by developing a corresponding mobile application as a convenient way to shop online. Additionally, they can satisfy customers by quick delivery of purchased products, which is possible by building an effective logistics network. Our study indicates that the productivity of an online shopping company was influenced by endogenous factors driven by improvements in managerial practices rather than exogenous factors. Accordingly, online shopping companies should adopt strategies to improve their operational efficiency rather than sales volume-oriented management.
