Recently, car sharing has shown the most remarkable growth among sharing economy services. In the process of analyzing the intention to reuse the car sharing service, this study tried to reflect the unique characteristics of the service, which consists of non-face-to-face self-service, such as reservation, approval, handover, inspection, and return of the vehicle. Specifically, in addition to the perceived benefits and the perceived risks, we considered 'information quality' as a platform characteristic and 'self-efficacy' as a personal characteristic. To collect data, an online survey was conducted on adults with experience in car sharing, and a total of 320 responses were used for analysis. As a result of analyzing the structural equation model, it was found that information quality and self-efficacy increased the perceived benefits of services, and the higher the information quality, the higher the self-efficacy. On the other hand, the role of information quality and self-efficacy in lowering perceived risks was insignificant, and the intention to reuse services was more affected by perceived benefits than perceived risks. As a result of further analysis using Process Macro, it was found that the effect of self-efficacy on reuse intention was mediated by perceived benefits. It was analyzed that the indirect effects of information quality on reuse intention through perceived benefits or self-efficacy were all significant. These results suggest that providing timely, sufficient, and easy-to-understand information required by users on the platform improves self-efficacy and increases service reuse intention. In order to increase the number of service users, it is important for service providers not only to provide promotional activities such as offering attractive prices, but also to provide high-quality information so that users can use it more easily.
The primary goal of the present study was to examine the moderating effects of coping strategies, cultural identity, and bicultural self-efficacy on the relationship between perceived discrimination and depressive symptoms of Korean Canadian college students. Data were collected from 214 Korean Canadian college students studying in Canada through an online and offline survey. A direct effect of perceived discrimination on depressive symptoms and the moderating effects of coping strategies on the relationship between perceived discrimination and depressive symptoms were examined by using hierarchical regression analysis. And three-way interaction of perceived discrimination, coping strategies, and cultural identity, and perceived discrimination, coping strategies, and bicultural self-efficacy on depressive symptoms were examined. Results from a hierarchical regression indicated that perceived discrimination significantly predicted depressive symptoms and this finding is in line with previous studies. Second, reflective, suppressive, and reactive coping strategies did not moderate the relationship between perceived discrimination and depressive symptoms. Third, the three-way interaction effect of perceived discrimination, suppressive coping strategy, and heritage identity predicted the depressive symptoms. Low heritage identity, high level of perceived discrimination and the frequent use of suppressive coping strategy increased the level of depressive symptoms. Fourth, the three-way interaction effect of perceived discrimination, coping strategies, and bicultural self-efficacy did not predict the depressive symptoms. Limitations and applied implications of the results are discussed.

Universities that previously targeted in 20s have recently diversified their operation methods, founding purposes, and target. With a significant decrease in the school-age population relative to the number of universities, universities are making their best efforts to secure new students and minimize student attrition. In this study, an online survey was conducted to empirically examine the effects of motivation for major selection and sense of belonging on learning persistence intention among students in beauty-related departments at 2-year and 4-year general universities and cyber universities. The collected data from 119 students at general universities and 113 students at cyber universities were analyzed using SPSS 28. The key findings can be summarized as follows: For general universities, motivation for major selection did not have a significant effect on learning persistence intention, but sense of belonging had a significant positive effect. Additionally, an interaction effect was observed, indicating that as the sense of belonging increased, extrinsic motivation significantly increased learning persistence intention. For cyber universities, intrinsic motivation and sense of belonging among motivations for major selection had a significant positive effect on learning persistence intention, while the moderating effect of sense of belonging in the relationship between motivation for major selection and learning persistence intention was not significant. In summary, for general universities, the factor that influenced students' learning persistence intention was a sense of belonging to the university, while for cyber universities, intrinsic motivation played a significant role. These findings are expected to provide meaningful insights and data for universities to develop effective policies for preventing student attrition.
This study aimed to investigate elementary school teachers' interest in mathematics textbooks following the new change in the publication system for elementary mathematics textbooks. To achieve this, an online survey platform was used to conduct a survey of elementary school teachers in teaching grade 3-4 across the country, and the responses of 199 participants were analyzed to determine their interest in mathematics textbooks. The research results showed that elementary school teachers had high levels of interest in mathematics textbooks, particularly in informational and personal interest. Moreover, the stages at which teachers showed the highest level of interest were reinforcement interest and operational interest. Analysis of the differences in interest in mathematics textbooks based on personal variables showed significant differences depending on the teacher's experience in mathematics education training, satisfaction with mathematics textbooks, and whether they majored in mathematics education. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that elementary school teachers have a high level of informational interest in the characteristics, strengths, weaknesses, and materials related to authorized and approved mathematics textbooks, and their high level of personal interest in mathematics textbooks can have a positive effect in line with the goal of the new textbook system. Additionally, since many teachers showed a high level of interest in reinforcement interest, it is necessary to devise various ways to support teachers' creative use and reconstruction of mathematics textbooks.
One of the most important types of Customer Empowerment Strategy (CES) is select empowerment, where firms allow customers to vote on a product to be marketed. However, there is limited research on the advantages and disadvantages of select empowerment. In particular, there are few studies on the composition of a voting system. This study analyzes customer participation behavior, such as willingness to vote and strategic voting (i.e., voting for candidates not based on utility orders), under the different voting systems: 1) the number of votes per customer (single or multiple), and 2) the number of final choices (single or multiple). Uncertainty is proposed as a mediator that links the voting system difference and customer participation. Two research hypotheses are tested using multiple linear regression analysis and a natural effects model based on data from two online experiments. As a result, the multiple voting system (i.e., multiple winners are selected by customer votes) shows a direct positive effect on willingness to vote and strategic voting behavior. In addition, the result shows that uncertainty insignificantly mediates the relationship between the voting system and customer participation. Academic and managerial contributions are discussed with several future research directions.

This study compared and analyzed the microbial composition and physicochemical characteristics of kimchi (gimjang kimchi) and mukeunji (aged kimchi). Commercial kimchi and mukeunji products were purchased through an online market. After an analysis of physicochemical characteristics, the pH of the mukeunji samples was found to be lower and the acidity higher than in the kimchi samples. There was no significant difference in salinity between kimchi and mukeunji, but the sugar content was higher in the kimchi samples. The phylogenetic diversity index, which incorporates phylogenetic difference between species, was significantly higher in mukeunji than in the kimchi. The most dominant order in both groups was Lactobacillales, but several lactic acid bacteria, such as the Pediococcus and Lactobacillus species, which may be more acid tolerant or more competitive, are relatively predominant in mukeunji. Beta set-significance analysis based on two different distance metric results revealed that microbial distributions of population were different at the statistical confidence level (p<0.001). We investigated the effect of respective species on total microbial community using the LEfSe (linear discriminant analysis effect size) mechanism. According to the results of LEfSe testing, a relatively higher abundance of Weissella kandleri in kimchi and a higher abundance of Pediococcus inopinatus in mukeunji have the greatest influence on the differences in microbial structure between the two groups.

Objectives: This study provides basic data for activating the school doctor of Korean medicine (SDKM) program by conducting a questionnaire survey for public health doctor of Korean medicine (PHDKM) Methods: The survey questionnaire was produced by referring to the previous satisfaction survey studies for the Doctor of Korean medicine applying for the SDKM program (SDKMP). The survey questionnaire was composed of 10 questions regarding the satisfaction level, difficulties in progress, and suggestions for activation. The survey was conducted online for a total of 35 PHDKM applying for SDKMP, and 32 responses were collected. Results: Of the 32 subjects, 9 (28.1%) conducted the SDKMP. The total satisfaction level of the SDKMP was 3.69 ± 1.12 points. The lack of a standardized manual and information system was the most difficult in the program's progress (43.8%), followed by the bad cooperation of the public health centers (40.6%), and the lack of personal circumstances (40.6%). The establishment of a system to enlist cooperation with related institutions was suggested the most as a question for activating the SDKMP (71.9%), followed by the expansion of the SDKMP manual and guidance system (53.1%), and the expansion of publicity about SDKMP (37.5%). Conclusions: To activate the SDKMP in a public health environment, it is necessary to improve the system to enlist cooperation with related institutions. Also, the need to expand the standardized manual, the guidance system, and the education to PHDKM about SDKMP.

Data analysis applications typically aggregate data across many dimensions looking for unusual patterns in data. Even though such applications are usually possible with standard structured query language (SQL) queries, the queries may become very complex. A complex query may result in many scans of the base table, leading to poor performance. Because online analytical processing (OLAP) queries are usually complex, it is desired to define a new operator for aggregation, called the data cube or simply cube. Data cube supports OLAP tasks like aggregation and sub-totals. Many aggregate functions can be used to construct a data cube. Those functions can be classified into three categories, the distributive, the algebraic, and the holistic. It has been thought that the distributive functions such as SUM, COUNT, MAX, and MIN can be used to construct a data cube, and also the algebraic function such as AVG can be used if the function is replaced to an intermediate function. It is believed that even though AVG is not distributive, but the intermediate function (SUM, COUNT) is distributive, and AVG can certainly be computed from (SUM, COUNT). In this paper, however, it is found that the intermediate function (SUM COUNT) cannot be applied to OLAP cubes, and consequently the function leads to erroneous conclusions and decisions. The objective of this study is to identify some problems in applying aggregate function AVG to OLAP cubes, and to design a process for solving these problems.

To purpose of the study was to analyze faculty utility of Web-Based course support system in Universities. Data were collected from log file in server computer, 5,023 faculties and 12,733 courses offered at spring semester of 2009 in the Metropolitan area S, K, D universities were analyzed. Specifically, frequency and percentile of faculties and courses using course management system were analyzed. In addition, the frequencies and percentiles of courses using sub-functions of course management system were analyzed and X2 test used to examine the difference of frequencies of faculties and courses using course system at using announcement, providing instructional material, public bulletin board and free board. Results were as follows. The 62.28% of faculties and 50.3% of courses have used Web-Based course support system. The results of Subfunction utility analysis showed the highest use as 80.4%. in providing instructional material. However, the use of announcement functions and online discussion was more or less low. Results imply that most of faculties and course are using course management system as supplementary system of off-line instruction.
The purpose of this study was conducted to develop adult distance literacy education program and verify its effects. The program was developed through the examination on factors affecting online literacy education and necessary analysis and feedback. Pre- and post-tests analyzing the effects of distance literacy education measuring academic understanding factor, learner satisfaction and satisfactory levels on the academic were administered to 49 adult literacy learners before and after a distance literacy education course. Also, this paper try to explore learners who participated in distance literacy education experience, change and that meaning. The results of the content analysis on the program are summarized as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences regarding academic understanding factor, learner satisfaction and perceived learning outcome satisfaction variables since distance literacy education program which is based on ARCS model start. In addition, learners were satisfied with replaying the learning videos several times, and the improved ability to use smart devices. But they expressed regrets about not being able to go to school and the difficulty of using the devices. It means that distance literacy education based on the ARCS model draw a positive learning conclusion. On the basis of these results, suggestions for further research were discussed.
