  • Online people conduct all kinds of business activities, such as promoting the sales of products and services, reading newspapers, watching TV and movies, and sending business messages by e-mail, by e-voice and by e-fax. Computers with access to the Internet are defined by the United Nations as the fourth media characterized by instantaneousness, openness, limitlessness, boundlessness and globalization. With the development and popularization of the Internet and the advance of the information technology in China, Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) violations online have frequently occurred in e-business activities. IPRs protection online has posed a great challenge not only for business managers and officials, but also for judges and lawyers because the rapid development of the Internet has created a legal vacuum governed by no laws in IPRs violation and protection online in China.. The paper at first classifies IPRs into several categories, then reveals China's serious problems and challenges of IPRs violations online and stresses the necessity of China's IPRs protection online. Finally it puts forward some suggestions concerning IPRs protection online.

Impacted by Korean wave, online export is continuously increasing, yet Korea is experiencing severe e-commerce trade imbalance. Export growth rate and ratio of Korean small companies are relatively low from OECD member countries. Therefore, Korean government is currently emphasizing on vitalization of online export to China to resolve trade imbalance and to increase export of small companies. Also suggested countermeasure plan and analysis for the new tax revision plan related to e-commerce which implemented on April 8th 2016. This study have grouped countermeasure plan by short term plan of firms and long term plan of the government. As for the short-term countermeasure plan for firms, first, comparison analysis of tax rate on products is need to decide type of e-commerce strategy; second, if planning to start e-commerce business to China, sales possibility and certification check is necessary; third, through preparation of customs clearance document is needed; last in order to obtain price competitiveness, new logistics strategy and packing development is required. As for the long-term countermeasure plan for the government, I have suggested cooperated bonded logistics service for small businesses and operation plan of show room for promising Korean products.

  • Advanced online environment and communication technology have made the e-commerce environments evolved rapidly. In the e-commerce area, one of the most important concepts regarding the relationship between seller and buyer is the "trust." Considering the purpose of purchase and satisfaction of website, the users may face problems such as consumer's transaction security or personal information sharing when they make transactions over web sites. It could be difficult to pursue the goal for the users to purchase product or service over online if the seller or service provider cannot establish trust to the customers. In this paper, through multi-dimensional viewpoints of trust, satisfaction can be accounted for by cue-based trust and experienced trust. The purchase intention mediates the experienced trust when online users purchase products or use online service.

  • This paper focuses on the recent extraordinary growth of Chinese cross-border online shopping and draws implications for firm strategies and government policies in Korea to utilize the phenomenon as an opportunity to expand into a broader market via e-commerce exports. I conduct a survey of Chinese cross-border online consumers to identify constraining and determining factors during the stages of their purchase decisions of Korean products. Given the fact that Chinese cross-border online shopping is at the incipient stage and consumers have expressed a strong intent to repurchase, future strategies should focus on attracting new consumers. Accordingly, Korean firms should build a powerful brand image, improve product quality and post-purchase services, and take full advantage of the popularity of the Korean Wave. Meanwhile, the government must step up policy efforts by, for instance, improving e-commerce export statistics, simplifying logistics and clearance procedures, and building trust in Chinese consumers.

This paper develops a modification of SERVQUAL model to examine the relationship between individual dimensions of e-service quality, online trust and purchase intentions in singular online shopping platform. Research design, data and methodology: Data from an online survey of 385 Lazada's shoppers were used to test the research model. The structural equation modeling technique was performed to test the research model. Results: The analytical results revealed that five dimensions of e-service quality were positively correlated with one another whereas some dimensions were negatively correlated with purchase intentions. The results of this study provide new insight into the literature as well as practical implications for marketers especially in Thai online market. Conclusion: This study develops the instrument dimensions of e-service quality through modifying the SERVQUAL model to examine the e-commerce context and to testify how these individual dimensions are interlinked with one another. It also suggests that responsiveness has two-sided affects that in responses which are too prompt and insistent could make the customer feel uncomfortable and perhaps ending up with no interaction and transaction.

  • Concerning the regulation of Internet service and the control of electronic commerce in China, It has not specific regulation and various rules or measures to enforce it yet. The common regulatory measures are that online business in some special areas must acquire a license or approval from relative agencies in advance. But whether licensing is an effect regulatory measure still takes time to verify. Accordingly these measures must be unified or coordinated to be enforced effectively. In order to encourage the development of E-Commerce, China will need to focus on developing rules that take advantage of the internet to encourage the economy, and establishing new legal rules or amending the traditional law to create a safe and secure legal environment for online transactions.
