  • One way Functions are similar to the passwords in the sense that are easy to compute and hard to invert. So they are the most basic primitive for cryptographic applications. Especially, it is well known that it needs to exist of one way functions for the existence of the encryption schemes. In this note, we devote to study the various properties of the one way functions to give the base for the construction of the secure encryption schemes. They include the study for a sort and part of one way functions. Also, we deal with the theoretical relationship between one way function and trapdoor function.

  • One-way hash chains are important cryptographic primitives and have been used as building blocks of various cryptographic applications. Advantages of one-way hash chains are their simplicity and efficiency for generation based on low-powered processors with short time. However, a drawback of one-way hash chains is their difficulty of control to compute interval values of one-way hash chains. That is, when hash values in one-way hash chain are used as encryption keys, if one hash value is compromised, then the attacker can compute other encryption keys from the compromised hash value. Therefore, direct use of one-way hash chains as encryption keys is limited to many cryptographic applications, such as pay per view system and DRM system. In this paper, we propose a new concept which is called interval hash chain using a hash function. In particular, proposed hash chains are made for only computing interval hash values by using two different one-way hash chains. The proposed scheme can be applied to contents encryption scheme for grading and partially usable contents in DRM system.

  • Encryption is the process of encoding messages or information in such a way that only authorized parties can read it. Encryption doesn't prevent hacking but it reduces the likelihood that the hacker will be able to read the data that is encrypted. Important information (data) information during transmission or storage of the confidentiality, integrity should be guaranteed. Encryption is one-way and two-way encryption is applied. The encryption key must be guaranteed safety.

  • Since the error control problem is a critical and sensitive issue in the one-way network, we can adopt a forward error correction code method or data retransmission method based on the response of reception result. In this paper, we propose error control method and continuous data transmission protocol in the one-way network which has unidirectional data transmission channel and special channel to receive only the response of reception result. Furthermore we present data encryption and key update mechanism which is based on the pre-shared key distribution scheme and suggest some ASDU(Application Service Data Unit) formats to implement it in the one-way network.

  • Blockchain is a technology that enables trust-based consensus and verification based on a decentralized network. Distributed ID (DID) is based on a decentralized structure, and users have the right to manage their own ID. Recently, interest in self-sovereign identity authentication is increasing. In this paper, as a method for transparent and safe sovereignty management of data, among data pseudonymization techniques for blockchain use, various methods for data encryption processing are examined. The public key technique (homomorphic encryption) has high flexibility and security because different algorithms are applied to the entire sentence for encryption and decryption. As a result, the computational efficiency decreases. The hash function method (MD5) can maintain flexibility and is higher than the security-related two-way encryption method, but there is a threat of collision. Zero-knowledge proof is based on public key encryption based on a mutual proof method, and complex formulas are applied to processes such as personal identification, key distribution, and digital signature. It requires consensus and verification process, so the operation efficiency is lowered to the level of O (logeN) ~ O(N2). In this paper, data encryption processing for blockchain DID, based on zero-knowledge proof, was proposed and a one-way encryption method considering data use range and frequency of use was proposed. Based on the content presented in the thesis, it is possible to process corrected zero-knowledge proof and to process data efficiently.

  • Encryption is a method to convert information to no-sense code in order to prevent data from being lost or altered by use of illegal means. Audit logging creates audit log of users' activities, exceptions, and information security events, and then conserves it for a certain period for investigation and access-control auditing. Our paper suggests that confidentiality and integrity of information should be guaranteed when transmitting and storing important information in encryption. Encryption should consider both one-way encryption and two-way one and that encryption key should assure security. Also, all history related to electronic financial transactions should be logged and kept. And, it should be considered to check the details of application access log and major information. In this paper, we take a real example of encryption and log audit for safe data transmission and periodic check.

  • At the point when it is check out ourselves, it might track down various information in each turn or part of our lives. Truth be told, information is the new main thrust of our advanced civilization and in this every day, "information-driven" world, security is the significant angle to consider to guarantee dependability and accessibility of our organization frameworks. This paper includes a new cryptographic algorithm for safe route traversal for data of smart cities which is a contemporary, non-hash, non-straight, 3D encryption execution intended for having information securely scrambled in the interim having a subsequent theoretical layer of safety over it. Encryption generally takes an information string and creates encryption keys, which is the way to unscramble as well. In the interim in another strategy, on the off chance that one can sort out the encryption key, there are opportunities to unravel the information scrambled inside the information string. Be that as it may, in this encryption framework, the work over an encryption key (which is created naturally, henceforth no pre-assurance or uncertainty) just as the calculation produces a "state" in a way where characters are directed into the Rubik block design to disregard the information organization.

  • With the development and supply of digital displayers, there has been a heightened interest of late in digital photo frames, eclipsing the existing print frames. This digital photo frame was developed into a new LCD digital photo frame that can be used not only for data display but also as a surveillance monitoring equipment when combined with a CCD camera. The developed photo frame uses a one-way communication encryption method that replaces the existing two-way communication encryption method to ensure the security of the surveillance image data. This method uses the chaotic signal's one-way synchronization phenomenon, where synchronization is made for a certain amount of time, after which the synchronized data can be encrypted and decoded at any point. It can yield the same results as the two-way communication encryption method. Moreover, if the proposed method is applied to the close-range communication methods of ubiquitous devices, it will be able to obtain more efficient results.

  • Encryption technology is to hide information in a cyberspace built using a computer and to prevent third parties from changing it. If a malicious user accesses unauthorized device or application services on the Internet of objects, it may be exposed to various security threats such as data leakage, denial of service, and privacy violation. One way to deal with these security threats is to encrypt and deliver the data generated by a user. Encrypting data must be referred to a technique of changing data using a complicated algorithm so that no one else knows the content except for those with special knowledge. As computers process computations that can be done at a very high speed, current cryptographic techniques are vulnerable to future computer performance improvements. We designed and implemented a new encryption program that combines ancient and modern cryptography so that the user never knows about data management, and transmission. The significance of this paper is that it is the safest method to combine various kinds of encryption methods to secure the weaknesses of the used cryptographic algorithms.
