Temporary Dominance of Exotic Plant Species on Overburden Coal Mines in South Kalimantan

  • Primary succession on bare rocks is a challenge for invaders, including one of which was plants. The invasion of bare rock by exotic species raises the question of whether their presence hinders or facilitates succession. This study aimed to determine the role of exotic species in primary succession in six overburden (OB) coal mines using a chronosequence approach. Vegetation analysis was undertaken using line transects. Measurements were carried out on the absolute and relative coverage of each species. Native and exotic species were identified and grouped using information from local communities, identification books, and websites. The relationship between time and number of species, time, and relative dominance of exotic and native species was analyzed using Pearson's correlation. Species number and dominance data were analyzed descriptively. The number of native species from the six OB heaps was higher (57) than that from exotic heaps (50). Neither the number of species nor the coverage showed a significant relationship with time. Exotic species predominated throughout the age of the embankment but tended to decrease over time. Temporary dominance by exotic species plays a role in assisting primary succession in the OB. This process might be prolonged without the temporary dominance of exotic species during early primary succession.

영상처리를 이용한 도서 권수 판별 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Book Counting System based on the Image Processing)

  • 최근 많은 도서관에서 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 태그를 도서에 부착하여 대출 및 반납 업무를 처리하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 RFID 인식 시스템은 부착된 RFID 태그와 안테나의 위치 및 주변 환경의 영향에 따라 인식률이 좌우되는 단점이 있다. 따라서 이를 극복하기 위해서는 별도 인식시스템과의 상호 보완이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 입력 영상을 기반으로 도서의 권수를 판별하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 먼저 입력 영상에 대해서 도서가 존재하는 영역을 관심영역으로 설정한 후, Canny 엣지 검출 알고리즘을 실행한다. 엣지로 검출된 부분에 대해 Hough 직선 변환 알고리즘을 이용하여 도서가 몇 권인지 판별한다. 제안하는 방법의 성능 평가를 위해서 350장의 다양한 도서 이미지에 대해서 도서의 권수를 정인식과 오인식으로 판별하여 분석하였다. 실험 결과 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 도서 권수 판별 정확도에서 97.1%의 우수한 성능을 보여주었다.

  • 저심도 터널 굴착시 예상되는 암반 거동을 정량적으로 파악하기 위해 계층 분석적 의사결정 방법과 암반 공학 시스템 방법을 적용하여 암반 거동 지수를 산정하였다. 복잡하고 조직화되지 않은 암반 거동을 효과적으로 결정하기 위해 쌍대 비교 매트릭스를 이용하는 계층 분석적 의사결정 방법과 상호 영향 매트릭스를 이용하는 암반 공학 시스템 방법을 적용하였고, 전문가 의견의 불확실성을 극복하고자 퍼지 델파이 방법을 적용하였다. 저심도 암반 터널 굴착 시 예상되는 암반 거동 유형으로 소성 변형, 낙반과 낙석을 제시하였다. 각각의 암반 거동 유형을 결정하기 위해 일축압축강도, 암질 지수와 절리 조건을 포함하는 암반 내생적 매개변수, 응력, 지하수와 지진 조건을 포함하는 암반 외생적 매개변수와 굴착 매개변수를 고하였다. 이를 서울 지하철 O호선 O공구 설계에 적용하여 예상되는 암반 거동 유형을 정량적인 암반 거동 지수로 제시하였다.

Testing a Small Scale Aseptic System for Milk in Plastic Bottles

  • The objective of this study was to develop and assess the performance of an aseptic system for liquid milk contained in plastic bottles, from a small-scale production standpoint. Commercial sterility tests conducted on the bottled milk were utilized in our assessments of the system, via the identification and monitoring of the principal points of the process. Four 150 L batches of milk with pH values of approximately 6.7 were heat-processed at between 137 and $143^{\circ}C$ for 10 see in a plate heat exchanger, and then aseptically transferred to 500 mL high-density polyethylene (HOPE) bottles, in an ISO class 7 clean room. The aseptic condition of the bottles was achieved via 10 see of rinsing with a mixture containing 0.5% peracetic acid and 0.8% hydrogen peroxide at $30^{\circ}C$, followed by another rinse with sterile water. Of the 4 batches processed, 2 were determined to exhibit commercial sterility, on the basis of the physical-chemical and microbiological criteria adopted. It was concluded that some adjustment of the processing line was required in order to achieve full commercial sterility for all processes. The aseptic system developed and assessed in this study was demonstrated to have great potential for the processing and transferring of milk into plastic bottles, from a small-scale production standpoint.

  • 제조 분야에서 품질관리를 위해 가장 많이 사용되는 도구는 관리도이다. 하지만 휴대용 카메라 모듈과 같은 소형 전자부품의 제조 라인은 자동화되어 여러 개의 공정이 유기적으로 연결되어 있는 경우 관리도의 적용이 쉽지 않다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 공정의 흐름을 파악할 수 있는 모니터링체계와 수율 예측 및 주요공정 변수 파악 등의 주요 공정 파라메터 추출 체계로 구성된 데이터마이닝 기반 품질관리시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 데이터마이닝을 위해 품질관리시스템은 의사결정나무, 신경망, 패턴분석 등의 모듈을 사용한다. 제안된 시스템을 통해 제조 공정은 안정적인 품질의 유지 및 공정 이상 유무의 신속한 파악, 수율 예측 등 품질관리를 위한 유용한 정보를 제공하고 공정의 신뢰성을 높이는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, interest in smart factories is increasing. Investments to improve intelligence/automation are also being made continuously in manufacturing plants. Facility automation based on sensor data collection is now essential. In addition, we are operating our factories based on data generated in all areas of production, including production management, facility operation, and quality management, and an integrated standard information system. When producing LCD polarizer products, it is most important to link trace information between data generated by individual production processes. All systems involved in production must ensure that there is no data loss and data integrity is ensured. The large-capacity data collected from individual systems is composed of key values linked to each other. A real-time quality analysis processing system based on connected integrated system data is required. In this study, large-capacity data collection, storage, integration and loss prevention methods were presented for optimization of LCD polarizer production. The identification Risk model of inspection products can be added, and the applicable product model is designed to be continuously expanded. A quality inspection and analysis system that maximizes the yield rate was designed by using the final inspection image of the product using big data technology. In the case of products that are predefined as analysable products, it is designed to be verified with the big data knn analysis model, and individual analysis results are continuously applied to the actual production site to operate in a virtuous cycle structure. Production Optimization was performed by applying it to the currently produced LCD polarizer production line.

Management research of ginseng production was rare Extension was active throuch official and private organizations and through workshop for the extension specialists, and direct lectures to grower's. Extension services made the researcher to understand the existing problems at grower's fields. Research environment for ginseng production was in prime time only for three years when Korea Ginseng Research Institute was established then gradually aggravated.

고밀도 폴리에틸렌 공정의 Melt Index 모델예측제어에 관한 연구 (Model Predictive Control of the Melt Index in High-Density Polyethylene(HDPE) Process)

  • 폴리올레핀 공정의 melt index(MI or MFI)는 제품의 품질을 결정짓는 가장 중요한 제어변수이다. MI는 실시간으로 측정하는 것이 어렵기 때문에 MI를 예측하여 상관관계를 나타내고자 하는 많은 방법들이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 시스템 인식기법을 바탕으로 MI 예측을 위한 새로운 1차의 동적 예측모델을 고안하였다. 이 모델의 예측성능은 등급변경이 수반되는 고밀도 폴리에틸렌 공장의 실제 운전데이터에 근거한 모사로 검증하였으며 다른 예측방법들과의 비교로부터 본 연구에 의한 예측모델의 우수성을 확인하였다. 구성된 MI 동적 예측모델을 토대로 하는 모델예측제어방법의 적용을 통하여 각 단위공정별 MI를 계산하고 운전데이터와 비교하였다. 제어운전의 모사를 통하여 등급변경이 이루어지는 운전 동안의 전이시간과 불량제품 발생량이 현저한 감소를 보임을 확인하였다.

형개 추출물의 시스템 약리학적 분석과 비소세포폐암세포에 대한 증식 억제효과 (Systems Pharmacological Approach to Identification of Schizonepeta teunifolia Extract via Active Ingredients Analysis and Cytotoxicity Effect on A549 Cell Lines)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to predict the effectiveness and potential of Schizonepeta tenuifolia as an anticancer treatment for non-small cell lung cancer through network-based pharmacology and cellular experiment. Methods : To identify the major bioactive compounds in Schizonepeta tenuifolia, we used the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems. The target genes for the cancer treatment were selected using the UniProt database and the networked using Cytoscape. We performed functional enrichment analysis based on the Gene Ontology Biological Process and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes Pathways to predict the mechanisms. To investigate the effect of Schizonepeta tenuifolia on lung cancer cell growth, we treated A549 cells, a lung cancer cell line, with different concentrations of the drug and used the MTT assay for cell viability. Results : Research has shown that the most effective mechanism of active compounds from Schizonepeta tenuifolia is through the pathway of cancer. The results of the network pharmacology analysis indicate that Schizonepeta tenuifolia has potential medicinal value as an adjuvant in anticancer treatment. The concentration-dependent inhibition of cell viability was observed on A549 cells. Furthermore, synergistic anticancer activity with Doxorubicin was also observed. Conclusions : Through a network pharmacological approach, Schizonepeta tenuifolia was predicted to have potential as an anticancer agent, and its efficacy was experimentally demonstrated using A549 cells. These findings suggest that Schizonepeta tenuifolia is a promising candidate for future research.

문서 영상의 정교한 기하적 구조분석을 위한 지식베이스 시스템 (A Knowledge-based System for Analyzing Sophisticated Geometric Structure of Document Images)

  • 문서 영상으로부터 논리적인 구성 요소를 추출하여 전자 문서를 생성하기 위해서는 정교한 수준의 기하적인 구조 분석이 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문은 과학기술 논문을 대상으로 정교한 수준의 기하적인 구조 분석을 지원하기 위하여 지식베이스에 기반한 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 지식베이스는 과학기술 논문 유형이 공통적으로 갖는 기하적인 특성은 물론이고 출판물 특유의 특성에 대한 지식을 규칙 형태로 표현한다. 제안된 방법은 상향식과 하향식의 복합 기법을 사용하며 영역분할과 식별의 두 단계로 구성된다. 일반적으로 영역분할에 의하여 분할된 영역과 레이아웃을 구성하는 복합 객체사이에는 일-대-일의 대응관계가 존재하지 않는다. 따라서 제안된 방법은 분할된 영역을 추가로 분할하거나 통합하면서 이미지, 드로잉, 그리고 테이블 등의 비 텍스트 객체는 물론이고 텍스트 라인이나 수식과 같은 텍스트객체를 식별한다. 제안된 방법의 평가하기 위하여 IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence로부터 스캐닝한 372개의 논문영상으로 실험한 결과, 제안된 방법은 99% 이상의 실험 영상에 대한 기하적인 구조 분석에 성공하여 기존 방법에 비해 정교한 수준의 성능을 보였다.
