Phenolic compounds such as isoflavones contribute to the antioxidant properties of soybean. This study investigated differences in the phenolic content and antioxidant activity of ten soybean cultivars grown in two different locations in Korea. We observed a wide range of variation in total isoflavone and phenolic content by location and cultivar. The total isoflavone content of cultivars grown at Pyeongchang (sub-highland) was significantly higher than that in cultivars grown at Gangneung (lowland). In contrast, the total phenolic content of cultivars grown at Gangneung was greater than that of cultivars grown at Pyeongchang. The radical scavenging activity of DPPH was similar to that of the total phenolic content rather than that of the total isoflavone content. These results suggest that antioxidant activity of soybean was associated with phenolic compounds rather than isoflavones. To identify the individual antioxidant components, we used an on-line HPLC-$ABTS^+$-based assay system, ESI/MS, and NMR. The results showed that the strongest antioxidant activity was linked to epicatechin.

최근 문화콘텐츠의 최고 화두는 복고이다. 하루가 다르게 발전하고 있는 스마트미디어 환경은 콘텐츠 시장에 다양성과 창의성이라는 혜택과 과제를 동시에 던져주고 있다. 최근 레트로 문화는 '응답하라' 시리즈물을 통하여 폭발적으로 확장되었으며 '응답하라'시리즈물의 성공은 사용자의 감성적 경험을 불러일으킬 수 있는 콘텐츠의 중요성을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 <응답하라 1994>신드롬을 통하여 사용자의 감성적 경험을 이해하고 레트로 콘텐츠가 단순한 과거회상의 역할을 넘어 어떻게 현재에 재서사화 되어 사용자의 감성적 경험을 이끌어 내는지 고찰한다. <응답하라 1994>를 통한 시청자들의 감성적 경험에 대한 요인분석 결과 도출된 5가지 감성적 경험 요인들은 시청자와 레트로 콘텐츠 관계에 정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 분석되었으며 시청자 만족, 레트로 콘텐츠에 대한 신뢰, 레트로 콘텐츠 애착에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시청자 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인별 영향력은 음악적 감성경험, 아이템 감성경험, 감각적 경험, 스토리적 감성경험의 순으로 나타났고, 레트로 콘텐츠에 대한 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 감성적 경험의 요인별 영향력은 음악적 감성경험, 감각적 경험, 스토리적 감성경험, 그리고 아이템 감성경험의 순으로 나타났으나 등장배우로 인한 감성적 경험은 유의미한 영향력을 갖지 못했다. 레트로 콘텐츠 애착에 미치는 감성적 경험의 차원별 영향력은 음악적 감성경험, 아이템 감성경험, 등장배우로 인한 감성경험, 감각적 경험, 스토리적 감성경험의 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 레트로가 가지고 있는 본질적인 의미를 파악하고 소비자의 감성적 경험에 기반을 둔 문화 콘텐츠의 생산 및 확산이 미디어 콘텐츠 생태계 형성 및 발전에 매우 중요한 요소임을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is the separation of biologically active ingredients from Coptidis Rhizoma which has been widely used as one of oriental herbal medicine for body fever. In this study, berberine-type alkaloids were tested on their biological activities in the aspect of antibacterial, antitumor, anti-herpetic and anti-HIV activity. Contents of five major alkaloids for the various origin of Coptidis Rhizoma were assayed by HPLC. As the results, the content of berberine from Coptis chinensis and Coptis japonica were 6.78% and 7.09%, respectively. The contents of coptisine, jatrorrhizine, berberastine from Coptis chinensis were higher than those of Coptis japonica. The amount of palmatine from both species were almost the same. Surprisingly for antitumor experiment, all compounds have been shown remarkable activity, especially against SNU-l(human stomach cancer) cell line. Among the compounds purified through column chromatography, palmatine, coptisine, and jatrorrhizine inhibited the growth of K-562(human chronic myelogenous leukemia) cell line whereas jatrorrhizine has been shown the effective inhibition of A-549 (human lung) cell line at the same time.

Geotechnical materials such as silt, fine sand, or coarse granular soils may be unstable under undrained shearing or during rainfall infiltration starting an unsaturated state. Some researches are available describing the instability of coarse granular soils in drained or undrained conditions. However, there is a need to investigate the instability mechanism of unsaturated silty soil considering the effect of degree of compaction and net confining stress under partially and fully drained conditions. The specimens in the current study are compacted at 65%, 75%, & 85% degree of compaction, confined at pressures of 60, 80 & 120 kPa, and tested in partially and fully drained conditions. The tests have been performed in two steps. In Step-I, the specimens were sheared in constant water content conditions (a type of partially drained test) to the maximum shear stress. In Step-II, shearing was carried in constant suction conditions (a type of fully undrained test) by keeping shear stress constant. At the start of Step-II, PWP was increased in steps to decrease matric suction (which was then kept constant) and start water infiltration. The test results showed that soil instability is affected much by variation in the degree of compaction and confining stresses. It is also observed that loose and medium dense soils are vulnerable to pre-failure instability i.e., instability occurs before reaching the failure state, whereas, instability in dense soils instigates together with the failure i.e., failure line (FL) and instability line (IL) are found to be unique.

TV-Anytime 포럼은 개인용 대용량 저장매체를 갖는 사용자 환경에서 오디오 비주얼 관련 서비스 제공을 위한 표준 개발을 목적으로 하는 민간 표준 기구이다. TV-Anytime 포럼은 모든 사용자가 개인용 저장장치를 기반으로 자기가 원하는 방법으로 원하는 시간에 다양한 형태(기존의 방송 서비스 및 on-line 대화형 서비스 등)의 프로그램을 시청할 수 있게 하는 것을 그 구체적인 서비스 목표로 하고 있으며, 궁극적으로는 실시간 방송과 인터넷이 결합된 형태의 통합 서비스 환경에서의 관련 표준 개발을 지향하고 있다. 본 고에서는 TV-Anytime 포럼 표준화 활동의 현황과 그 작업결과와 Metadata, Content Referencing, Right Management and Protection 및 Systems Description 작업반의 표준화 진행현황과 그 작업결과를 소개한다.

아연(Zn)을 대체할 수 있는 물질계 인 알루미늄(Al)과 마그네슘(Mg)을 본 연구에서는 In-Line PVD 장치의 스퍼터링 소스를 이용하여 냉연강판 위에 코팅하고 열처리를 실시하여 전자현미경 및 글로우방전 분광기를 이용한 코팅층의 특성 분석 및 염수분무시험을 통해 내식성을 평가하였다.

The protective effects on hepatic fibrosis of an aqueous extract from the roots of Platycodon grandiflorum A. DC (Campanulaceae), Changkil (CK), in hepatic stellate cell line, CFSC-2G. The increased deposition of extracellular matrix by hepatic stellate cells following liver injury in a process known as activation is considered a key mechanism for increased collagen content of liver during the development of liver fibrosis. The Strain TFM-7, Which has an antitumor effect, was isolated from Kefir and identified based on analysis using the API 50 CHL kit and 265 rDNA sequencing. Strain TFM-7 was confirmed to belong to the genus Kluyveromyces. Analysis of the 265 rDNA nucleotide sequences found strain TFM-7 to be related to Kluyveromyces marxianus. NRRL Y-828IT. K. marxianus. TFM-7 was cultured with potato dektrose broth medium at $27^{\circ}C$ for 72 hr, and its inhibition effects on the proliferation of seven tumor cell lines and a normal cell line were assessed using the MTT assay. The antitumor effects and growth characteristics of K. marxianus TFM-7 were investigated during a culture period of 7 days. By the $3^{rd}\;day$, K. marxianus TFM-7 showed a dry cell weight 2.39 g/L, a pH of 4.39, an ethanol content of 0.89%, and an inhibition effect on the proliferation of seven tumor cell lines above 50%, except for A-549 tumor cell line. K. marxianus TFM-7 was the most effective at inhibiting the growth of Hep-2 cell line among all tumor cell lines tested. Growth inhibition of a normal cell line, NIH/3T3, was less than 35%, suggesting a decreased level of cytotoxicity toward normal cells. These results indicate that K. marxianus TFM-7 may have used as a yeast strain with antitumor activity.

This study compared and analyzed the direction of Louis Vuitton creative directors Kim Jones and Virgil Abloh. Accordingly, 485 photos(251 Kim Jones, 234 Virgil Abloh) were collected. For data analysis, statistical and content analyses were combined. First, as for the overall design characteristics of creative director Kim Jones, complex colors, colorful barrels, tone-in-tone color schemes, H-line, plain fabrics, soft materials, heterogeneous material combinations, casual style. Second, as for the overall design characteristics of creative director Virgil Abloh, achromatic color, colorful tone, tone-on-tone color scheme, I-line, plain fabric, soft material, similar material combination, casual style. There were significant differences in color, tone, color scheme, silhouette, pattern, material type, material combination, fashion image, detail, trimming, top and bottom that differed in the creative directors' design direction. Therefore, it appears that Kim Jones has been directing the luxurious and unique men's wear through H-line, coat and slim pants, colorful color combination, soft material, heterogeneous material combination, plain fabric, and chic active sensibility. Meanwhile, Virgil Abloh is directing men's wear in a loose and trendy street mood through the I-line, jacket and wide pants, achromatic color, soft material, plain fabric, similar material combinations, and soft and sophisticated modern sensibility.

벼(Oryza sativa L.)에서 Insertional 유래 MGI079 돌연변이 계통의 자색미에 대한 항산화 활성을 보기 위하여 폴리페놀, 플라보노이드, DPPH radical, 안토시아닌 및 색차계를 이용하여 분석하였다. 폴리페놀 함량에서 MGI079-2-1와 MGI079-2-6은 MGI079보다 1.3배에서 1.9배 이상 증가되었고, 플라보노이드에는 MGI079-2-1 MGI079보다 6.4배 이상 증가되었다. DPPH 자유기에는 MGI079-2-1이 MGI079보다 24.4배 이상 항산화력이 증대되었다. 안토시아닌 성분에는 MGI079- 2-6은 MGI079보다 106.4배 이상 증가되었으며 흑남에 비해서는 1.4배 증가하였다. 색차계에서 Hunter's 값(L, a, b)은 안토시아닌($-5.64^{**}$, $5.21^{**}$와 -1.15)의 L, a에서 유의성이 있는 것으로 보였다. MGI079 돌연변이 계통의 미립 장폭비는 MGI079에 비해서 medium과 bold type으로 분리되었으며, 천립중은 MGI079 (19.8 g)보다 돌연변이 계통들이 13.6~19.6 g으로 감소하였다. 아밀로스는 MGI079 보다 5.6~23.8% 증가하였고, 배유의 전분립 형태는 비정형 전분립 특성 등 차이를 보였다. Insertional 유래 MGI079 돌연변이 계통들의 항산화 활성 분석에서 MGI079-2-1와 MGI079-2-6은 MGI079와 흑남보다 항산화력이 높은 기능적 가치로 미립특성과 관련하여 색소 자원의 개발뿐만 아니라 신품종 육성에 필요한 예비품종으로 실용화가 기대된다.
