Although the embedded network-engine is a demand of time, it is observed that up to this time the network-engines are not sufficient to control the input and output device for Video On Demand (VOD). In this paper we have proposed the wireless network-engine with the capability of controlling the input and output device.

Revenue management is a new approach method to solve the problem of supply and demand, and one of fields which is diffused quickly at the service enterprise to use perishable-asset like the transportation business. It is based on multiple fare policy that discount charge reservation should be received if the benefit value of current discount fare is more than expected profit of the normal fare reservation it will be able to occur in future when suitable goods is sold to the customers at discount fare, at the time they want, and at assigned seat by controlling supply and demand from market. In this research, I will review on initial operation case for special class goods that the seat which is limited is assigned at some of train and portion of KTX for demand dispersion and new demand creation at peak time, put a limit in purchase conditions, and provides discounted fare. I will also try to find implication for strategic operation.

본 연구의 목적은 멀티미디어 데이터베이스의 개발 현황을 조사하고 멀티미디어 서비스 시장의 발전 경향을 조사함으로써 전문정보의 멀티미디어 데이터베이스 수요를 분석하는 것이다. 멀티미디어 데이터베이스의 개발현황을 파악하기 위하여 국내의 상용 멀티미디어 데이터베이스와 비상용 멀티미디어 데이터베이스의 분야별 재현형태별 분석을 하였다. 멀티미디어 서비스의 전망에 대한 분석을 위하여는 국내의 멀티미디어 전문가를 대상으로 멀티미디어 서비스의 환경, 시장, 이용자와 관련된 사항의 설문조사를 실시하였다.

The company was focusing on production which was partial mission rather than acquiring the information of customer in intensive process industry. The company accepted loss which is from over-production, losing of opportunity. After changing to web environment, supply chain is more complicated and need of customer is more various. As a result the company hard works on controlling production rates, production quantities in production area and gathering exact information which is about available resource and available quantities. Cooperated demand planning have to get decreasing of inventory, improving of customer service in supply chain management. Specially demand planning that considers allocation of capacity is executed in Iron-Industry. Demand planning must be classified by customer, region and supply position level.

This study was performed to inquire demand for indroducing certification on contract foodservice management company(CFMC) and review about the system in a related field. The methodology was practiced an in-depth interview for grasping demand on certification of CFMC and composition on an appraiser group. Content analysis was reviewed about the system in a related field. Large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises were positive opinion on a certification of CFMC and they suggested that education and research institution, industry, government, association will be included in appraiser group. The review about the system of a related industry was investigated by field such as similar product and service with restaurant industry, similar service with hotel and tourism industry. And similar purpose with a certification of CFMC was put in operation as PQ(pre-qualification) and selecting an adequate corporation in architecture industry. Therefore, a certification of CFMC should be tried to scientific introduction by objective verification.

We propose a new scheme to provide the fast forward and reverse(FF/R) functions to users in Video On Demand Service System. The proposed scheme is to use only I and P pictures obtained by sampling MPEG2 bit-steam. New frame raes for FF/R play are specified with parameters of MPEG2 syntrx. Bits of I and P pictures are reduced in three steps: Variable length decoding(VLD), Inverse quantization and Requantization. The proposed scheme is ecnomical in the sense that it can provide FF/R function without any additional requirement on the bandwidth and on the storage media in video server.

Purpose - The purpose of the paper is to examine disconnection between supply and demand shipping market, which means shipowner has determined to raise capacity in bust period. Research design, data, and methodology - The research method to be applied is first to look into conceptual theory about shipping market, and then to study imbalance of supply and demand situations in shipping on crisis, and next, to analyses paradoxical aspects traced. Results - Shipping market is a volatile and cyclic characteristics, and its situations have to be examined very carefully. Since financial crisis has broken up in 2008, it is natural to think that world trade volumes has reduced rapidly, which means demand for shipping service has fallen, and accordingly, tonnage should be stagnated as well. However, shipping companies have put capacity into market as unexpectedly. This is because of economy of scale and time lag. Here, this can be explained in terms of paradox that is proved in this paper. Conclusions - From careful research in this paper, it is found that supply and demand are not always got along with market situations, in other words supply side could be working well, in spite of depression time of demand situations in world shipping markets.

Recently, technologies for efficient power grid operation have become important due to climate change. For this reason, predicting power demand using deep learning is being considered, and it is necessary to understand the influence of characteristics of each region, industrial structure, and climate. This study analyzed the power demand of New Jersey in US, with a high urbanization rate and a large service industry, and West Virginia in US, a low urbanization rate and a large coal, energy, and chemical industries. Using recurrent neural network algorithm, the power demand from January 2020 to August 2022 was learned, and the daily and weekly power demand was predicted. In addition, the power grid operation based on the power demand forecast was discussed. Unlike previous studies that have focused on the deep learning algorithm itself, this study analyzes the regional power demand characteristics and deep learning algorithm application, and power grid operation strategy.

With accommodation of a population of many young people and families due to Hangang River New Town Housing Project and development of railway station spheres, a need is increasing to improve the quality of public libraries service for Gimpo citizens and to establish more libraries. This study thus analyzed the book lending data of Gimpo City libraries, and the city's libraries-related social media big data in an effort to forecast the users, and thus to propose four library service improvement measures. First, in terms of book gathering and book development policy plans, a proposal was made to expand good books for children and youth, and to expand general original-language books related to learning of English, and English books for children. Second, in terms of the establishment of additional libraries or specialization strategy, a proposal was made to establish exclusive children's libraries or English libraries, and to establish library specialization strategy with a focus on children and English themes. Third, in terms of library culture programs, a proposal was made to provide library culture programs in relation to children education and to expand weekend library culture programs. Fourth, in terms of library facilities, considering the convenience of parking facilities, a proposal was made to establish libraries near apartment complexes.

The purpose of this paper is to examine whether there are relationships of substitutability or complementarity between the call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile telecommunication services. In order to clarify the relationships, we suggest a model of call demand of fixed telecommunication service which incorporates the variables representing the diffusion of mobile telecommunications subscription and estimate it with relevant time series data. Finally it is shown that there is complementary relationship between the call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile paging services, and it is also found that there is substitutable relationship between the long distance call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile phone services.
