저궤도 위성에서 위성탑재컴퓨터의 재구성 시험 (The OBC Reconfiguration Test on LEO Satellite)

  • 위성탑재컴퓨터(OBC, On-Board Computer)는 인공위성의 자세제어, 임무수행, 지상명령 송수신 및 처리 등 다양한 기능을 수행한다. 위성탑재컴퓨터는 다양한 모듈로 구성되어 있으며, 각 모듈은 매우 중요한 기능을 수행하기 때문에 이중화로 설계되어 있다. 이중화된 모듈은 그 특성에 따라 Hot/Cold Redundancy 정책을 적용하여 운영한다. 각 모듈을 이중화로 설계함으로써 위성의 신뢰성을 높이고, 특정 모듈에 문제가 발생하였을 때 정상적인 모듈로 위성탑재컴퓨터를 재구성을 함으로써 위성의 정상적인 동작을 보장한다. 본 논문에서는 저궤도 위성에서 위성탑재컴퓨터의 재구성 처리방법에 대해 기술하고 해당 기능을 ETB(Electrical Test Bed) 시험환경에서 검증한 내용에 대해 기술한다.

개인용 컴퓨터를 이용한 전자 태아심음 감시장치의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Davelopement of Electronic Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring System Using Personal Computer)

  • Digital fetal monitoring system based on the personal computer combined with the digital signal processing (DSP) board was implemented. The DSP board acquires and digitally processes ultra- sound fetal Doppler signal for digital signal conditioning, rectification, low -pass filtering, autocorrealtion function calculation and its peak detection. The personal computer interfaced with the DSP board is in charge of graphic display, hardcopy, data transmission and on -line analysis of fetal heart rate change including on - line warning system, base -line estmation, acceleration, deceleration and variability. It is one of the most suitable situation to apply the DSP chip for siganl conditioning, digital filtering of ultrasound fetal Dopier signal and fetal heart rate estimation using autocorrelation technique .

Transfer rates of pathogenic bacteria during pork processing

  • We examined the rates of pathogenic bacterial cross-contamination from gloves to meat and from meat to gloves during pork processing under meat-handling scenarios in transfer rate experiments of inoculated pathogens. The inoculated pork contained ~5-6 Log10 CFU/g pathogenic bacteria like Escherichia coli (E. coli), Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes), and Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica (Sal. enteritidis). On cotton gloves, after cutting the pork, the cutting board, knife, and cotton gloves showed 3.07-3.50, 3.29-3.92 and 4.48-4.86 Log10 CFU/g bacteria. However, when using polyethylene gloves, fewer bacteria (3.12-3.75, 3.20-3.33, and 3.07-3.97 Log10 CFU/g, respectively) were transferred. When four pathogens (6 Log10 CFU/g) were inoculated onto the gloves, polyethylene gloves showed a lower transition rate (cutting board 2.47-3.40, knife 2.01-3.98, and polyethylene glove 2.40-2.98 Log10 CFU/g) than cotton gloves. For cotton gloves, these values were 3.46-3.96, 3.37-4.06, and 3.55-4.00 Log10 CFU/g, respectively. Use of cotton gloves, polyethylene gloves, knives and cutting boards for up to 10 hours in a meat butchering environment has not exceeded HACCP regulations. However, after 10 h of use, 3.09, 3.27, and 2.94 Log10 CFU/g of plate count bacteria were detected on the cotton gloves, cutting board, and knives but polyethylene gloves showed no bacterial count. Our results reveal the transfer efficiency of pathogenic bacteria and that gloved hands may act as a transfer route of pathogenic bacteria between meat and hands. The best hand hygiene was achieved when wearing polyethylene gloves. Thus, use of polyethylene rather than cotton gloves reduces cross-contamination during meat processing.

  • Train wheels tend to wear abrasion due to frequent Starlings and brakings. They are important factors of train safety and noise. However, it is difficult and inaccurate to measure their shape and profile manually. Profile measurement system of train wheel with image processing is proposed. The system consists of CCD cameras, PCI image grabber board, and PC operated on Windows '95. Image processing algorithms such as filtering, histogram equalization, and edge detection are presented, and some processing results are illustrated.

  • Pentagraphs are used to supply electric power to train via trolley lines. The higher train speed is, the higher voltage and current levels 8u. Since electric power is supplied with slinding contact, localized abrasion is inevitable. It is difficult and dangerous to measure their shape manually. Measurement system of pentagraph slider with ultrasonic processing has been reported. In this paper, measurement system with image processing is proposed. The system consists of CCD cameras, image grabber board, and PC operated on Windows'95. Image processing algorithms are presented and some results are illustrated.

SMT에서 정합 및 부품검사 알고리즘의 실시간 처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Real-Time Processing of The Position Matching and Inspection Algorithm in SMT)

  • The vision system is essential for SMT(Surface Mounting Technology) automation. The system plays the role of matching the positions betweem SMD and PCB, and inspecting SMD in the final stage of mounting. Real-time processing and high-precision are indispensable for practical purpose. In this paper, a new algorithm for position matching and inspection of SMD is proposed, and which is implemented on the DSP board using DSP board using DSP5600. Experimental results show mean matching error within 0.1 mm in the direction of x,y and execution time within 300msec. Therefore, we could attain high-speed and high-precision of the vision system for SMT automation.

  • 본 논문에서는 동아대학교 RRC에서 개발한 게이트 자동화 시스템에 적용된 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) 시스템을 항만 내 야드 자동화에서도 이용하기 위해 이동 수송 차량에 장착되는 OBE(On-Board Equipment)와 야드에 설치되는 RSE(Road Side Equipment)간의 통신 소프트웨어 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 컨테이너 야드와 하역 시스템의 자동화를 구현하기 위해 OBE와 RSE간을 DSRC 방식으로 통신할 때 통신 대상에 따른 송수신 정보의 분류, 통신 대상의 분류 및 특성을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문은 DSP보드에 캠코더의 NTSC 카메라로부터 획득한 칼라영상에서 휘도성분만을 추출한 후 비교적 간단한 영상 처리를 하여 카메라 렌즈의 초점 조절에 필요한 정보를 추출하여 자동으로 초점이 조절되는 시스템을 구현 하였다. 초점이 정확한 물체는 경계선이 뚜렷하다는 점을 이용하여 영상을 미분한 후 실험적으로 구한 초점조절에 유효한 값의 합이 증가하는 쪽으로 렌즈를 조절함으로서 영상에 적합한 초점을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 잡음 성분에 해당하는 미분 값이 큰 값은 제외함으로서 보다 정착한 초점 값을 얻을 수 있었다.

Introduced robot uses CCD and designed Image Processing Board for the purpose of archiving vision data. To keep parallel condition, This use ultrasonic sensors for auto-mobile.
