This paper presents the automatic vision algorithm to generate and calibrate reference phase plane to improve the accuracy of 3D measuring machine of using phase shifting projection moire method, which is not traditional N-bucket method, but is based on direct image processing method to the pattern projection image. Generally, to acquire accurate reference phase plane, the calibration specimen with well treated surface is needed, and detailed calibration method should be performed. For the cost reduction of specimen manufacturing and the calibration time reduction, on the specimen, not specially designed, with general accuracy level, an efficient calibration procedure for the reference phase generation is proposed. The proposed vision algorithm is developed to extract the line center points of the projected line pattern from acquired images, derive the line feature information consisting of its slope and intercept by using sampled feature points, and finally generate the related reference phase between line pairs. Experimental results show that the proposed method make reference phase plane with a good accuracy under noisy environment and the proposed algorithm can reduce the total cost to make high accurate calibration specimen, also increase the accuracy of reference phase plane, and reduce the complex calibration procedure to move grid via N-bucket algorithm precisely.
To measure rheological properties of the starch dough, an Extrusion Capillary Viscometer(ECV) cell was self-made and attached to Instron machine(Model 1140). Apparent viscosities of corn and waxy corn starch doughs were measured and their gelatinization degrees were determined by enzymatic analysis. When corn and waxy corn starch doughs with $36{\sim}52%$ moisture content were heated at $60{\sim}100^{\circ}C$, come-up time of the cold point of doughs decreased from 220 sec to 140 sec with increased in the moisture content. In the measurement range of $36{\sim}52%$ moisture content and $60{\sim}100^{\circ}C$ heating temperature, both corn and waxy corn starch doughs showed pseudoplastic flow behaviors. At the same shear rate, both shear stress and viscosity of starch dough decreased as the moisture content increased. At the moisture content above 44%, the shear stress and viscosity of starch dough decreased as the heating temperature increased from $60^{\circ}C\;to\;70^{\circ}C$, but increased as the heating temperature increased from $80^{\circ}C\;to\;100^{\circ}C$. When the moisture content increased and heating temperature, the gelatinization degree of starch dough increased from about 10% to about 62%. The gelatinization degree of waxy corn starch dough was $15{\sim}20%$ higher than that of corn starch dough under the same gelatinization conditions. The effects of moisture content on the viscosity of starch dough were examined by Arrhenius equation. As the moisture content increased, viscosity of starch dough decreased. But the effect of moisture content was greater in the range of $80{\sim}100^{\circ}C$ than in the range of $60{\sim}70^{\circ}C$ heating temperature.

Researches on the emissions of greenhouse gases in the construction industry, which accounts for 40% of raw materials, 30% of energy consumption, and 30% of $CO_2$ emissions in the entire industry, are mainly focused on studies of LCA. However, it is assessed that $CO_2$ emissions are higher in construction sequence than in operation sequence. Also, it is considered that construction machinery using fossil fuel is a main factor causing environmental load in construction sequence. Therefore, this study analyzes the workload and engine RPM characteristics of the excavator which is the second largest number of registered construction machinery in Korea and the highest utilization rate in actual construction site. The excavator is divided into non-load states and load states where power is transmitted to the excavator. The exhaust gas is analyzed by a direct measurement method using PEMS equipment. $CO_2$ emissions are estimated by analyzing the relationship between RPM and exhaust emission characteristics according to the actual driving conditions. Additionally, we analyze the difference between $CO_2$ emissions of construction machine calculated by this study and $CO_2$ emissions calculated by using carbon emission coefficient.
The physical properties of polymer are greatly influenced by the extent to which a resin cures. The presence of un reacted monomer can, have a plasticizing effect on the polymer, thereby altering the physical and mechanical properties of dentin bonding agent (DBA). If the DBA does not polymerize sufficiently, it will leave a weak bonding layer and lead to lower bond strength. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shear bond strengths(SBS) and the degree of conversion (DC) of 4 commercialy avilable dentin bonding systems which are composed of 2 multi-bottle systems [Scotchbond Multi-Purpose (SMP), AeliteBond(AB)] and 2 onebottle systems [SingleBond(SB), One-Step(OS)]. For shear bond strength measurement, labial surfaces of freshly extracted bovine incisors were ground with # 600 grit SiC paper to expose dentin. Four different groups of samples were formed, with 10 samples. being made for each of the 4 commercial DBA in each group according to the curing sequences of DBA and overlayer thickness of composites: Group I (standard cure and 1mm thick composites) : The DBA was light cured and the composites of 1mm thickness was applied ; Group II (standard cure and 2mm thick composites) : The DBA was light cured and the composites of 2mm thickness was applied; Group III (simultaneous cure and 1mm thick composites) : The DBA was not light-cured and simultaneously cured with composites of 1mm thickness; Group N (simultaneous cure and 2mm thick composites) : The DBA was. not light-cured and simultaneously cured with composites of 2mm thickness. The SBS was measured immediately after the composites was bonded to the bovine dentin using an Instron machine. The DC of the DBA was examined in a thin film under simulated conditions of the experimental groups according to the curing sequences and overlayer thickness of composites in the SBS test. using a Fourier transform Infrared(FTIR) spectrometer. The following results were obtained from SBS tests and DC measurements 1. In SBS tests, the multi-bottle DBA(SMP, AB) had a generally higher bond strength values than the one bottle DBA(SB, OS). In DC measurements, the one bottle DBA(SB, OS) had a significantly higher DC than the multi-bottle DBA(SMP, AB). 2. In all DBAs except OS, there was no significant difference between the bond strength of group I (standard cure and 1mm thick composites) and that of group III (simultaneous cure and 1mm thick composites). SMP, SB in Group I had a significantly higher DC than those in group III, but AB, OS in group I had a significantly lower DC than those in group III 3. All DBAs in Goup II (standard cure and 2mm thick composites) had significantly higher bond strength and DC than those in Group N (simultaneous cure and 2mm thick composites). 4. In all DBAs, there was no significantly different SBS and DC between Group I and Group II, but all DBAs in Group III had significantly higher SBS and DC than those in Group IV.

The fourth Industrial Revolution is transforming the industrial structure of the region, and it is necessary to develop new industries and technologies that reflect regional characteristics. The purpose of this study is to measure the knowledge relatedness and technological complexity in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, and to identify technologies with potential for regional industrial differentiation strategies. Using patent data from 2015 to 2019, co-occurrence matrices were derived from 652 IPC codes, and the knowledge relatedness density and technology complexity index were calculated. Network analysis was performed using the knowledge relatedness density. As a result of analysis, it was found that mechanical engineering occupied a large proportion, followed by chemistry and electrical engineering. As a result of applying the risk-benefit framework to derive technologies with the potential to differentiate local industries, the technological capabilities of low-risk-high-benefit were different. Among mechanical engineering, technologies such as engine, machine operation, and transportation were included in Busan. In Ulsan, environmental technology in chemical and materials, and heat treatment technology in mechanical engineering were technologies with low-risk and high-benefit capabilities. Gyeongnam showed competence in mechanical engineering, chemistry, and electrical engineering in some areas such as Gimhae, Yangsan, and Changwon. The results of this study are meaningful in that they identified technologies with potential for selecting and deriving strategic industries for regional growth based on latent knowledge in the region.
Citrus quality is generally determined by its sugar content and acidity. In particular, sugar content is a very important factor because it determines the taste of citrus. Currently, the most commonly used method of measuring citrus sugar content in farms is a portable juiced sugar meter and a non-destructive sugar meter. This method can be easily measured by individuals, but the accuracy of the sugar content is inferior to that of the citrus NongHyup official machine. In particular, there is an error difference of 0.5 Brix or more, which is still insufficient for use in the field. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an AI model that predicts the citrus sugar content of unmeasured days within the error range of 0.5 Brix or less based on the previously collected citrus sugar content and meteorological data (average temperature, humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, and average wind speed). In addition, it was confirmed that the prediction model proposed through performance evaluation had an mean absolute error of 0.1154 for Seongsan area and 0.1983 for the Hawon area in Jeju Island. Lastly, the proposed model supports an error difference of less than 0.5 Brix and is a technology that supports predictive measurement, so it is expected that its usability will be highly progressive.

As the self-driving car market continues to grow, the need for charging infrastructure is growing. However, in the case of a wireless charging system, stability issues are being raised because it requires a large amount of power compared with conventional wired charging. SAE J2954 is a standard for building autonomous vehicle wireless charging infrastructure, and the standard defines a communication method between a vehicle and a power transmission system. SAE J2954 recommends using physical media such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and UWB as a wireless charging communication method for autonomous vehicles to enable communication between the vehicle and the charging pad. In particular, UWB is a suitable solution for indoor and outdoor charging environments because it exhibits robust communication capabilities in indoor environments and is not sensitive to interference. In this standard, the process for building a wireless power transmission system is divided into several stages from the start to the completion of charging. In this study, UWB technology is used as a means of fine alignment, a process in the wireless power transmission system. To determine the applicability to an actual autonomous vehicle wireless power transmission system, experiments were conducted based on distance, and the distance information was collected from UWB. To improve the accuracy of the distance data obtained from UWB, we propose a Single Model and Multi Model that apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to the collected data through a three-step preprocessing process.

Purpose : It is known that the neutron is generally generated from the photon, its energy is larger than 10 MV. The neutron is leaked in the container inspection system installed at the customs though its energy is below 9 MV. It is needed that the spacial effect of the neutrons released from radiation treatment machine, linac, installed in the medical canter. Materials and Methods : The medical linear accelerator(Clinac 1800, varian, USA) was used in the experiment. Measuring neutron was used bubble detector(Bubble detector, BDPND type, BTI, Canada) which was created bubble by neutron. The bubble detector is located on the medical linear accelerator outskirt in three different distance, 30, 50, 120 cm and upper, lower four point from the iso-center. In addition, for effect on protect material we have measured eight points which are 50 cm distance from iso-center. The SAD(source-axis-distance), distance from photon source to iso-center, is adjusted to 100 cm and the field size is adjusted to $15{\times}15cm^2$. Irradiate 20 MU and calculate the dose rate in mrem/MU by measuring the number of bubble. Results : The neutron is more detected at 5 position in 30, 50 cm, 7 position in 120 cm and with wedge, and 2 position without mount. Conclusion : Though detection position is laid in the same distance in neutron measurement, the different value is shown in measuring results. Also, neutron dose is affected by the additional structure, the different value is obtained in each measurement positions. So, it is needed to measure and evaluate the neutron dose in the whole space considering the effect of the distance, angular distribution and additional structure.
Statement of problem. There have been many studies about marginal discrepancy of single restorations made by various systems and materials. But most of statistical inferences are not definite because of sample size, measurement number, measuring , instruments, etc. And there have been few studies about the marginal fit of Computer-aided Cercon crowns. Purpose. The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal fit of the anterior single restorations made using computer-aided milled Cercon crowns with metal-ceramic restorations and to obtain more accurate information by using a large enough sample size and by making sufficient measurements per specimen. Material and methods. The in vitro marginal discrepancies of computer-aided milled Cercon crowns and control groups (metal ceramic crowns) were evaluated and compared. The crowns were made from one extracted maxillary central incisor prepared by milling machine. 30 crowns per each system were fabricated. Measurements of a crown were recorded at 50 points that were randomly selected for marginal gap evaluation. Parametric statistical analysis was performed for the results. Results. The means and standard deviations of the marginal fit were 85$\pm$22$\mu$m for the control group and 91$\pm$15$\mu$m for the Cercon crowns. The t-test of the marginal discrepancies between Cercon crowns and metal-ceramic crowns were performed. Significant differences were not found between groups (P=0.230>.05). Based on the criterion of 120$\mu$m as the limit of clinical acceptability, the mean marginal fits of Cercon crowns and metal-ceramic crowns were acceptable. Conclusion. Within the limitations of this in vitro study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. Mean gap dimensions and standard deviations at the marginal opening for maxillary incisal crowns were 85$\pm$22$\mu$m for the control (metal-ceramic crowns), 91$\pm$15$\mu$m for Cercon crowns. 2. The Cercon crowns showed slightly larger marginal gap discrepancy than the control but marginal gap between Computer-aided milled Cercon crowns and metal ceramic crowns did not showed significant difference (P>.05). 3. The Cercon crowns and metal ceramic crowns showed clinically acceptable marginal discrepancy.
Optical frequency modulated fiber optic interferometric sensor was developed to sense the mechanical quantities, such as displacement, strain, force etc. It has been difficult to distinguish whether the increase of the mechanical quantities or the decrease of the quantities measured by the conventional fiber optic interferometric sensors because their signals only have a sinusoidal wave pattern related to the change of mechanical quantities. In this study, in order to measure the mechanical quantifies with the distinction of the changing direction of the quantities, the fiber of optic Michelson interferometric sensor was simply constructed by the laser light modulated with saw tooth wave pattern. The output signal of the sensor was controlled as the sinusoidal wave. The signal processing was based on the counting of the wave number of the output signal during constant time duration. The strain was determined by the cumulative value of the wave number producted by the gage factor. In order to verify the strain measurement capability of this sensor, the strain increase-decrease test was performed by universal testing machine installed with the aluminum specimen bonded with the fiber optic sensor and electrical strain gage. In the result of the test, the strain from the fiber optic sensor had a good agreement with the values from the electrical strain gage.
