When ions move in the air under an electric field, momentum is transferred from ions to neighboring particles. The wind is raised therefore, if the ion-flow is dominant in one direction. Using this mechanism, authors developed a fan which has no moving parts, and named it EHD AIR MOVER. This paper describes its theory with experimental results. Air velocity of 450ft/min is obtained by the ion current of 5*10$\^$-6/A/cm$\^$2/. Comparison of the theoretical calculation with the experimental data shows satisfactory agreement.

The future information technologies and service paradigm will move from PC, the general purpose desktop computing environment, to the next-generation PC that provides information any where, any time, and any device. The next-generation PC such as wearable computers are specialized to the human-centric functionalities and always-on connected services. In this study, service infrastructure of wearable computing with WBAN(Wearable Body Area Network) was suggested for the ubiquitous computing environment.

As we move to competition, transmission cost become more and more important. At the wholesale competition market, the process of settlement must include the cost of transport. The aim of this paper is to calculate approximate transmission cost at each power sales district office using KEPCO data. We considered investment cost, transmission constraints and marginal losses as cost elements which must be taken into account in transmission cost calculation.

Mobile Cloud Computing services anywhere, anytime access to the Internet via a mobile terminal means to provide services, speakers are called Mobiloud. Computing processing power limitations of mobile devices, storage, due to space constraints, the tasks handled by mobile devices and data processing services to move to cloud environments. In recent years, smartphone, tablet PC and mobile device companies and individuals to spread and spread, and the content of the accelerating cloud painters, mobile cloud that can communicate with each other requires a standard service.

Demand for machine learning systems continues to grow, and cloud machine learning platforms are widely used to meet this demand. Recently, the performance improvement of the application processor of smartphones has become an opportunity for the machine learning platform to move from the cloud to On-Device AI, and mobile applications equipped with machine learning functions are required. In this paper, machine learning tools for mobile applications are investigated and compared the characteristics of these tools.

In the future, restrictions are likely to be imposed on the use of lead in the electronics industry. In dealing with such a move, we have been developing Pb-free Sn-Ag plating process to replace presently available Sn-Pb process. In this paper, the result of a basic comparison test between Sn-Pb plating and Sn-Ag plating is reported.

In process of water removing safely from plastic clay, an electric field applied to a wet, porous solid such as day usually causes the rapid dehydration. The water-bearing positive ions move to negative electrode under the d. c. electrical stress or field. Therefore application of electro-osmosis to wet clay could include drying thick and large-scale ceramic body quickly and evenly. The d. c. power supply unit to 60 volts is necessary for safe practice. Also wider contact area and shorter distance between electrodes accelerate effectively the removal of water.

Silicon substrate was fabricated by bulk silicon micromachining and it's structure is based on a proof mass suspended by two beam. To monitor the acceleration, dynamic excitation of accelerometer was performed using a shaker. The attached FFPI and suspension beam are bent because support beam move with variation of the proof mass. Thus phase difference detected by the acceleration change. So we can know that resonance frequency of fabricated accelerometer is about 557 Hz and dynamic range was measured from 0 g to 2 g.

This paper presents the result of numerical simulation of particles trace following melted zinc movement with nitrogen gas injection. The code of the computational fluid dynamics for numerical analysis was performed using FLUENT related to CFD. As application model, there was applied Eulerian multiphase model for simulation of melted zinc movement at first and then was used stochastic tracking technique for particles trace secondarily. Numerical simulation results are shown that particles move to the same direction as the movement of melted zinc.
