옴니채널 앱만족도 영향요인과 점포이용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influencing Factors of Consumers' Satisfaction of the Omni-Channel Applications and Store Satisfaction)

  • The growth of online malls encourages the existing offline stores to manage their online stores or reinforce the purchasing service through related mobile applications (apps). This may seem to be the omni-channel strategy for connecting the existing customers to online shopping. This study, research on offline stores' acceptance of and satisfaction with smart phone apps, attempted to arrange some factors allowing consumers to be satisfied with such apps, and examine whether the satisfaction with the apps lead to that with the stores based on the EMTAM (Extended Mobile Technology Acceptance Model). In particular, the existing stores trying to enhance the omni-channel put on emphasis on the synergy between online and offline stores, rather than replace offline store with online ones. The results of an analysis showed that the factors influencing the satisfaction with apps included mobile usefulness (MU), mobile ease of use (MEOU) and mobile enjoyment (MEJ), and that the satisfaction with them had an effect on that with stores. On the basis of the findings, this study summarizes theoretical and practical suggestions.

  • The advent of Omni Channel has changed the fashion business model and the role of fashion sales persons. In such situation, internal marketing can become an important organizational management strategy for fashion companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the components of internal marketing of fashion companies for fashion shop masters in an omni channel environment. To achieve the purpose of this study, To achieve the purpose of this study, a qualitative study was conducted to investigate the internal marketing sub-factors of fashion companies. In-depth interviews were conducted for qualitative study. Seven respondents to the in-depth interview were fashion shop masters who had at least 10 years of field work experience. As a result of the qualitative study, internal marketing was derived from five factors, including empowerment, education and training, rewards, internal communication, and management supports. Empowerment factors consist of initiative, encourage creativity, and problem solving. Education and training factors consist of the degree of education and training opportunities, the value of education and training, and the scope of education and training. Rewards factors consist of diversity of rewards, fairness of rewards, and source of rewards. Internal communication factors consist of communication flexibility, diversity of communication and receptivity of communication. Management support factors consist of headquarters support and department store support.

  • Unlike the past, brick-and-mortar is no longer on the priority list for the shopping activity. Instead, it is replaced by various non-store shopping alternatives, such as Internet, TV, catalog, mobile, etc. As consumers engage digitally, they made fewer trips to stores. Especially, as mobile shopping made the price comparison possible while shopping in the store, new shopping trend of 'showrooming' came to the fore as the serious issue. In order to cope with the this crisis, many brick-and-mortar retailers utilize omni-channel strategy for their countermeasure. This research paper is to suggest the omni-channel strategy that is applicable for the brick-and-mortar retailers. The results are as follows. First, in order to set up the connected-channel shopping environment, consumers have to be exposed to the environment that can deliver the continuous brand experience under the same price policy, brand and store management, etc, as integrating the various purchasing channels into one. Especially, in-store environment needs to change for the place where consumer experience is stressed for the most as using virtual reality devices with augmented reality technology. Also, the online digital kiosk, and tablet that consumer can order the products through the online channel while shopping in-store Second, the barrier-free in-store environment should be offered in order to increase the consumer convenience. This change will allow consumer communicate with the store environment more effectively. Lastly, brick-and-mortar should extend the physical territory as utilizing the offline's advantage and disadvantage through setting up the digital interactive wall or pop-up store for increasing the opportunity of customer interaction with the store. Moreover, visiting service for the elderly, housewife with the baby, or disabled person will be one of the effective substitute.

  • Wide use of smart and high performing mobile device makes consumers use diverse distribution channels, composed of online and offline channel. Smart companies are trying to deploy omni channel. In order to successfully integrate these diverse channels, it is necessary to understand consumers' preference of channel choice. Thus, this study was focused on the influencing factors of channel preference such as price sensitivity, consumer innovativeness, time pressure, and need-for-touch. And this study compared these influencing factors between Korea and China, and drew meaningful message for e-commerce companies and offline distribution companies.

옴니채널에서 식품쇼핑의 사용자 경험 디자인 연구 (A Study on Food Shopping User Experience Design of Omni-channel)

  • 본 연구는 옴니채널 환경의 식품쇼핑 경험연구이다. 안전한 먹거리에 대한 관심은 IT의 발전에 따라 소비자의 다양한 요구에 합리적 방식으로 진화하며 이를 충족한 다양한 채널 증가로 이어졌다. 옴니채널은 소비자의 필요와 욕구를 채우는 것뿐 아니라 고객 행동 이해와 경험 가치를 부여한 실증적 사용자 유형 고찰이 필요했다. 온라인 설문 결과, (1)오프라인 식품쇼핑은 대 소형 마트, 1개월에 2~3회, 품질상태 고려, 신선식품을 직접 구매하기 위해 방문 (2)온라인 식품쇼핑은 온라인 커머스, 1개월에 2~3회, 가격/혜택을 고려, 과일/견과를 주로 구매로 나타났다. 이후 고관여자 8인의 심층면접에서 식품구매여정 4단계를 통해 식품쇼핑 경험을 파악하였다. '건강'과 '식단'을 식품쇼핑 핵심 가치로 한 퍼소나는 가족과 건강을 중요시하고 '절약'을 우선하는 프라이머리 퍼소나와 일과 개인을 중시하며 '자동수급'을 하는 원하는 세컨더리 퍼소나로 세분된 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 옴니채널 식품쇼핑 경험을 위해서는 건강하고 균형 잡힌 식생활의 맥락에서 기능과 서비스 방안을 모색하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

온라인 패션 유통업체의 오프라인 채널 확장에 대한 소비자 평가와 채널 통합 수준 (Understanding Offline Channel Expansion for Online Fashion Retailers and Channel Integration)

  • Online retailers' offline channel expansion is rapidly growing as an important consumer incentive strategy, despite the enormous initial costs of establishing a store. This study focuses on the offline channel operation of online shopping malls, and examines the effects and influencing factors of the channel expansion strategy from a consumer perspective. In-depth interviews were conducted with ten customers in their 20s and 30s who had visited online retailers' stores or purchased products. Major issues were extracted based on the framework of a channel effect mechanism proposed by Cao and Li (2015). Subsequently, it was found that existing online retailers could enhance brand image and perception by expanding their channels to offline stores. It was also emphasized that the consumer trust on the quality of the product in offline stores is a key variable, and it has a significant influence on consumer's continuous purchase and revisit intention. This study showed that borderless channel integration was the most important task when expanding channels of online retailers. So it will be necessary to strive for an omni-channel strategy so that channel integration can be strategically executed and consumers can interact regardless of channels.

  • 온라인 쇼핑 시장은 모바일기기의 확산과 함께 지속적으로 성장하고 있는 가운데, 소비자는 구매과정에서 온 오프라인 구분 없이 쇼핑하는 옴니쇼퍼로 진화하고 있다. 옴니쇼퍼와 같은 비정형적 소비 패턴에 대응하기 위해서는 고객의 소비행동과 습관 등을 파악한 맞춤형 서비스 제공이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 고객의 체험적 경험을 극대화 할 수 있는 오프라인 환경에서 제품의 착용 모습을 확인하고 제품 간의 비교화면을 제공하여 제품의 구매의사를 높일 수 있는 스마트 피팅 시스템을 제안하였다.

  • 온라인 쇼핑 시장이 성장하는 가운데 소비자의 구매 프로세스는 온 오프라인의 경계 없이 복잡해졌고, 지능적인 맞춤형 서비스를 원하는 스마트 컨슈머가 등장하였다. 변화하는 소비자 및 소비 환경에 따라 각 관련 분야의 기업들은 다양한 옴니채널과 O2O 서비스를 제공하고 있으나 패션업계에서의 대응은 많이 늦은 편이다. 그리고 최근에 사물인터넷 환경도 표준화 기반 오픈 플렛폼으로 변화하고 있으며 사물의 유형에 따른 지능적인 서비스의 다양화가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문 에서는 패션업계에 적합한 스마트 피팅 디스플레이를 활용한 패션 O2O 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 오프라인 매장에서 사용자가 수행한 피팅에 관한 정보를 데이터베이스화하여 사용자에게 제공하며 오프라인에서 수행한 사용자의 활동들을 온라인에서도 지원함으로써, 사용자의 구매활동을 지속적으로 유지, 관리할 수 있도록 한다. 아울러, 매장관리시스템 및 배송시스템의 정보 연계를 통해 고객 중심의 지능적인 피팅 서비스가 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

중국의 지역별 옴니채널시장 잠재력 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Evaluation of the Potential of Omni-Channel Market in China by Region)

  • 본 연구는 중국의 각 지역별 시장에 대한 옴니채널시장 잠재력을 분석·평가함으로써 한국 물류기업 및 소매유통기업의 협력진출을 위한 전략수립에 대한 시사점을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 중국의 전자상거래, 소매판매, 특송서비스에 영향을 미치는 변수를 문헌연구를 토대로 추출하여 회귀분석 및 분산분해 분석을 실시하였다. 즉, 중국 31개 지역의 각 지역별 통계자료를 활용하여 각 지역별 전자상거래 및 소비재 소매판매액에 영향을 미치는 변수를 분석하였다. 또한 중국의 특송서비스 판매량, 물류GDP, 휴대폰 사용자 수의 상호 반응 정도를 추정하기 위해 분산분해 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 지역별 순위를 선정하여 중국 옴니채널시장의 잠재력을 평가하였다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 소매기업과 물류기업의 중국 옴니채널 시장 진출방안에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

Pioneering the Distribution Industry in Korea: Dynamic Capability at Lotte Shopping

  • Purpose - This case study reviews the development history of Lotte Shopping, which has played a key role in modernizing Korea's retail industry. Research design, data, and methodology - Lotte Shopping's expansion to various channel types has been reviewed from the perspective of the resource-based view of strategy. The opening of Lotte Department Store in 1979 signaled the beginning of the modernized distribution system in Korea. Lotte Shopping expanded its business domains to various types of retail channels, such as discount stores, online shopping malls, TV home shopping, convenience stores, supermarkets, home appliances specialty stores and health & beauty stores. Results - Lotte Shopping has been able to maintain high level of customer satisfaction with leading merchandising skills. It has developed mutually beneficial relationship with the partner firms. It has also been a leading firm in implementing corporate social responsibility activities and environment-friendly management. Lotte Shopping has applied advanced information and communication technology to provide customized goods/services. Conclusions - This study summarizes the business environment and new challenges Lotte Shopping faces currently. Lotte Shopping is trying to reinforce the omni-channel strategy, which can create synergy among various distribution channels based on its core competences.
