Background: To determine effects of mobilization with movements (MWM) application on stroke patient with hypomobility on sacroiliac joint. Methods: The subject was 47years old male who have left hemiplegia because of right intra-cerebral hemorrhage. The subject was have hypomobility on sacroiliac joint. MWM using during 4weeks and using Berg balance scale (BBS), Timed up and go (TUG), 10meter walking (10MW) test for evaluation. Results: The results of this study were summarized below; BBS score for evaluating balance ability was increased, and TUG time, 10MW test time was decrease. Conclusion: We consider that MWM application on stroke patient with hypomobility on sacroiliac joint is not only regain mobility on sacroiliac joint but also increase in balance ability and walking speed.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, injury mechanism, complication and adverse reactions associated with Chuna manual theraphy(CMT), to report one case of adverse reaction with Thai Massage(TM). Methods: A 76-year-old woman presented with chest pain and dorsalgia. The patient undertook a TM. The patient's chest pain didn't improve by Korean medecine. In MRI study, sternal fracture was diagnosed. Results and Conclusions : It is supposed that this patient suffered chest pain and dorsalgia due to a TM. From this case, we can understand the etiology of sternal fracture to some extent and consider the complication of Chuna manual theraphy through TM. In addition, This study raises the awareness of the possibility of a sternal fracture caused by a low-energy CMT technique.

We report the clinical treatment experience of a case with severe lateralization articulation disorder especially in /ㅅ/, who was treated with using a dynamic palatogram. The patient was 16-year-old male patient and he was taken several attempts of traditional speech therapy without improvement The authors tried to treat him with newly designed dynamic palatogram for two period with good results. We are going to review brief clinical experience with the patient and discuss the effectiveness and indications of the dynamic palatogram. In this study, we can summarize the effect of treatment as follows; Lateralization of the /ㅅ/ was improved markedly with using the dynamic palatogram, and we thought the improvement was achieved mainly by visual feedback control.

We report the treatment case of patient for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The patient was 65 year-old woman with the history of smoking and asthma. She had complained of dyspnea, hyperpnea, cough and wheezing sound. We treated her with general management, bronchodilator and five kinds of herbal medicine(Samjahwadamjeon etc). Among them, the major herbal medicine is Samjahwadamjeon. Having been treated for 35 days, the patient improved in clinical symptoms and pulmonary function in PFT(Pulmonary function test).

Extensive tumoral calcinosis affecting a large joint is uncommon in patients with systemic sclerosis. We report the case of a 52-year-old female patient referred for a growing calcified mass in the shoulder. She was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease and progressive systemic sclerosis. Although the pain and disability associated with the affected joint was not severe, the patient underwent surgical excision because the mass continued to grow and was likely to produce shoulder dysfunction and skin ulceration. The patient appeared well 10 months after surgery with no signs of recurrence. This report highlights the timing and indication of surgical excision in similar cases.

식도 소세포암은 매우 드문 악성 종양으로 알려져 있다. 본 인제 대학교 부산백병원 흉부외과학교실에서는 식도에서 발생한 소세포암 1례를 수술 치험하였다. 68세된 남자로서, 술전 위내시경 조직검사에서 신경내분비종양이 의심되어 식도절제술 및 위-식도 문합술을 시행하였고, 술후 경과는 양호하여 합병 증없이 퇴원하였다.

우측 흉쇄관절탈골로 진단되어 Kirsckler wire로 고정 3개월후 wire의 이동으로 우심실과 대동맥내 이물 및 가성대동맥류를 가진 50세 남자환자에서 이들의 제거를 위해 수술을 시행하였다. 심폐기 가동후 우심실에서 우측폐동맥판막을 관통하여 폐동맥쪽으로 돌출되어 있는 K-wire를 제거하고 상행대동맥 부분점자후 또 다른 K-WiTG를 제거하고 폐동맥판막천공은 일차봉합하고 대동맥 벽은 전층으로 봉합하였다. 환자는 술후 14일째 특별한 합병증 없이 퇴원하였다.

We report a case of cauda equine syndrome following caudal anesthesia possibly caused by metastatic spine tumor. Male, 80-year-old, who had prostatic carcinoma with $L_3$ and $L_4$ spine metastasis was scheduled for bilateral orchiectomy. Twenty two-gauge needle was introduced at sacral hiatus and 15 ml of 2% lidocaine administered. The next morning, patient complained of perineal numbness and urination difficulty. During the next several day patient had episodes of fecal incontinence and motor weakness on both lower extremities. This case reminded us that neuroaxial blocks such as spinal, epidural and caudal anesthesia, should be used with extreme care in patients having neoplasm with high incidence of spine metastasis.

A 67-year old man with a history of cardiac disease underwent epidural catheterization for pain control of postherpetic neuralgia. Patient had severe back pain and pus discharge at catheter insertion site after dischange from medical part. Patient received anticoagulant therapy with $Aspirin^{(R)}$ and $Coumadin^{(R)}$ prescribed for 15 days in medical part. Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) showed a diffuse $T_{4-7}$ anterior epidural mass compressing the spinal cord. Emergency surgical exploration revealed a thoracic epidural hematoma without abcess formation. Operation was successful and patient recovered satisfactory without any sequelae.

Parkinson's disease is a common neurodegenerative disorder charaterized by distal resting tremor, rigidity, and bradykinesia, and asymmetric onset. The patient was 38-year-old man who had Parkinson's disease diagnosed and complained resting and postural tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia and so on. He was treated by oriental medicine with acupuncture, herb medication, physical therapy, kinesitherapy and Korean psychotherapy; Eejeong-byunki, Jiun-goron. After treatment the symptoms of Parkinson' disease was reduced, but the patient was deconditioned through several seizures. This result suggested that the oriental medical therapy is recommanded for Parkinson's disease. But, the relation of Parkinson's disease and seizure should be studied.
