새로운 화장료 함침재의 개발과 이를 활용한 메이크업 유중수형 에멀전에 관한 연구 (Development of the Novel Cosmetics Impregnation Material and Study on Makeup W/O Emulsions using It)

  • 지금까지 저점도 메이크업 유중수형 에멀전을 함침재에 침적시켜 휴대 간편성과 사용 편리성을 높인 화장품이 개발되어 왔다. 종래에는 주로 경도가 높고 다공의 망상구조를 갖는 폴리우레탄 스펀지가 함침재로서 사용되어 왔으며, 이러한 스펀지는 구조적인 특성상 화장료 함침이 잘 되기 때문에 제조가 용이하다는 장점을 가지고 있지만, 초기 토출량이 높고, 사용 횟수에 따라 토출량의 감소가 큰 특징을 가지고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 발포형태의 스펀지를 개발하고 이를 활용한 다양한 특징을 갖는 메이크업 유중수형 에멀전에 관하여 연구하고자 한다. 우선 상기 목적에 맞는 다양한 소재를 조사하고, 이를 토대로 natural rubber (NR)와 styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)의 조합을 통해 성형성이 우수하며 화장료 조성물의 적절한 흡수 및 배출 능력을 가지는 새로운 물질을 개발하였다. 이러한 함침재는 고무와 같은 탄성성질의 부드러움과 높은 신율 및 균일한 토출력을 가지는 특징을 확인할 수 있었다. 화장료 조성물로 사용되는 여러 종류의 오일의 극성도(polarity)에 따른 신규 스펀지의 특성을 이해하고, 메이크업 유중수형 에멀전의 점성을 조절하여 메이크업 제품 개발이 가능함을 확인하였으며, 향후 새로운 특성을 갖는 화장료 함침재로써의 가치가 매우 높을 것으로 기대된다.

Effect of Different Zeolite Supported Bifunctional Catalysts for Hydrodeoxygenation of Waste Wood Bio-oil

  • Effects of various types of zeolite on the catalytic performance of hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of bio-oil obtained from waste larch wood pyrolysis were investigated herein. Bifunctional catalysts were prepared via wet impregnation. The catalysts were characterized through XRD, BET, and SEM. Experimental results demonstrated that HDO enhanced the fuel properties of waste wood bio-oil, such as higher heating values (HHV) (20.4-28.3 MJ/kg) than bio-oil (13.7 MJ/kg). Water content (from 19.3 in bio-oil to 3.1-16.6 wt% in heavy oils), the total acid number (from 150 in bio-oil to 28-77 mg KOH/g oil in heavy oils), and viscosity (from 103 in bio-oil to $40-69mm^2/s$ in heavy oils) also improved post HDO. In our experiments, depending on the zeolite support, NiFe/HBeta exhibited a high Si/Al ratio of 38 with a high specific surface area ($545.1m^2/g$), and, based on the yield of heavy oil (18.3-18.9 wt%) and HHV (22.4-25.2 MJ/kg), its performance was not significantly affected by temperature and solvent concentration variations. In contrast, NiFe/zeolite Y, which had a low Si/Al ratio of 5.2, exhibited the highest improved quality for heavy oil at high temperature, with an HHV of 28.3 MJ/kg at $350^{\circ}C$ with 25 wt% of solvent.

알루미늄 합금 양극산화피막의 표면경도 측정법 (Novel Methods for Measuring the Surface Hardness of Anodic Oxide Films on Aluminum Alloy)

  • In this study, two novel methods to measure the surface hardness of anodic oxide films on aluminum alloys are reported. The first method is to impregnate oil-based ink into pores in the anodic oxide film and then to clean the ink on the surface using ethanol, resulting in an impregnation of inks only inside of the pores in anodic oxide film. The second method is to coat the anodic oxide film surface with thin Au layer less than 0.1 ?. Both the ink-impregnating method and Au-coating method provided clear indentation marks on the anodic oxide film surface when it was indented using a pyramidal-diamond penetrator. Thus, Vickers hardness of anodic oxide films on aluminium alloy could be measured successfully and precisely from the anodic film surface. In addition, advantages and disadvantages of the ink-impregnating method and Au-coating method for the measurement of surface hardness of anodic oxide films are discussed.

삼투탈수 알로에 건조제품의 구조적 및 물리화학적 특성 (Structural and Physicochemical Properties of Dried Aloe Vera Gel Using DIS (Dewatering & Impregnation Soaking) Process)

  • The structural and physicochemical properties of dried aloe vera gel by DIS (dewatering impregnation soaking) process under optimum conditions were investigated. FT-IR spectra for dried samples of DIS aloes showed the typical patterns of standard aloe polysaccharide, and surface structures by SEM (scanning electron microscopy) were similar to a gel-like structure. In case of physicochemical properties of dried aloe samples by DIS process, solubilities and swelling powers of control (not osmotic treated aloe), DIS (S) and DIS (G), samples treated by osmotic solution of 60% sucrose/0.25% NaCl and 50% glucose/0.5% NaCl, were 48.3-57.3% and 8.3-11.7%, respectively, showing no significant differences among samples, but swelling power of DIS (PEG), sample treated by using 50% polyethylene glycol as an osmotic agent was about 5 times higher that of control. Also, water holding capacities of control, DIS (S) and DIS (G) were similar to each other, but that of DIS (PEG) was about 5 times higher that of control. Oil holding capacities of control and DIS aloes maintained the 50.9-86.4% levels of water holding capacities showing no significant differences among samples. Rehydration ratio of DIS (PEG) aloes were significantly dependent on the temperature of rehydrated solvent (water), and rehydration ratio of not-fileted aloe was about two folds higher than that of fileted aloe.

12wt% Co 담지 촉매에서 합성오일 제조시 조촉매 효과 및 반응조건 영향 분석 (The Effect of Promotor and Reaction Condition for FT Oil Synthesis over 12wt% Co-based Catalyst)

  • The synthesis of Fischer-Tropsch oil is the catalytic hydrogenation of CO to give a range of products, which can be used for the production of high-quality diesel fuel, gasoline and linear chemicals. Our cobalt based catalyst was prepared Co/alumina, silica and titania by the incipient wet impregnation of the nitrates of cobalt and promoter with supports. Cobalt catalysts was calcined at $350^{\circ}C$ before being loaded into the FT reactors. After the reduction of catalyst has been carried out under $450^{\circ}C$ for 24hrs, FT reaction of the catalyst has been carried out at GHSV of 4,000/hr under $200^{\circ}C$ and 20atm. From these test results, we have obtained the results as following ; in case of 12wt% Co-supported $Al_2O_3$, $SiO_2$ and $TiO_2$ catalysts, maximum activities of the catalysts were appeared at the promoters of Mn, Mo and Ce respectively. The activity of 12wt% $Co/Al_2O_3$ added a Mn promoter was about 3 times as high as that of 12wt% $Co/Al_2O_3$ catalyst without promoters. When it has been the experiment at the range of reaction temperature of $200{\sim}220^{\circ}C$ and GHSV of 1,546~5,000/hr, the results have shown generally increasing the activities with the increase of reaction temperature and GHSV.

From test results, the order of increasing activity for the catalyst was Co/alumina > Co/silica > Co/titania. When the content of Co metal such as 5, 12, 20 and 30wt% was changed, an CO conversion increased as the content of Co metal increased. The activity of catalyst has obtained the best value at 12wt% Co content.

This studied catalyst was prepared Cobalt-supported alumina and silica by the incipient wet impregnation of the nitrates of cobalt, promoter and organic solvent with supports. Cobalt catalysts were calcined at $350^{\circ}C$ before being loaded into the FT reactors. After the reduction of catalyst has been carried out under $450^{\circ}C$ for 24h, FT reaction of the catalyst has been carried out at GHSV of 4,000/hr under $200^{\circ}C$ and 20atm. From these experimental results, we have obtained the results as following; In case of $SiO_2$ catalysts, the activity of 12wt% $Cobalt-SiO_2$ synthesized by organic solvent was about 2 or 3 times higher than the activity of 12wt% $Cobalt-SiO_2$ catalyst synthesized without organic solvent. In particular, the activity of the $Cobalt-SiO_2$ catalyst prepared in the presence of an organic solvent P was two to three times higher than that of the $Cobalt-SiO_2$ catalyst prepared without the organic solvent. Effect of Cr and Cu metal as a promoter was found little. 200 h long-term activity test was performed with a $Co/SiO_2$ catalyst prepared in the presence of an organic solvent of Glyoxal solution.

  • 본 연구에서는 표면적이 높은 제올라이트나 촤를 지지체로 이용해 알칼리금속을 담지시킴으로써 염기 세기를 증가시켜 전이에스테르화 반응에 있어 보다 좋은 활성을 가지는 고체촉매를 만들고자 하였다. 제올라이트는 KOH 수용액으로 담지하였고, 미역촤는 calcium nitrate를 담지하여 염기의 세기를 증가시켰다. Hammett 지시약과 $CO_2$-TPD를 통하여 촉매의 특성을 분석하였다. 대두유과 메탄올을 사용하여 바이오디젤을 합성한 후 지방산 메틸에스테르 함유량을 측정함으로서 촉매의 활성을 알아보았다. 일정량까지는 담지량과 활성이 비례하였으나, 과량 담지 시 오히려 활성이 감소하는 결과를 보였다.

농약 방출 조절제 소재로서 실리카 중공 미세구의 물성연구 (A Study on the Properties of Hollow Silica Microspheres for Controlled-release Pesticide Formulation)

  • 실리카 중공 미세구를 이용하여 방출 조절형 입제 농약을 제조합에 있어 실리카 중공 미세구 제조시 핵 제거 방법으로 열분해법을 사용하면 benfuracarb를 실리카 중공 미세구 중량의 2.67배까지 함침이 가능하였다. 이렇게 제조된 방출 조절형 입제 농약을 수중 방출 실험한 결과, 점결제로 ESO를 사용하였을 때 일정한 benfuracarb 방출 속도를 유지하여 10일부터 용액 중의 benfuracarb의 농도를 1.65 ppm 정도를 30일까지 유지되었다.

Trickle Bed Reactor에서 Pt/Kieselguhr 촉매를 이용한 다환방향족 탄화수소 수소화 반응 (Hydrogenation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Over Pt/Kieselguhr Catalysts in a Trickle Bed Reactor)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 열분해연료유(pyrolysis fuel oil, PFO)에 포함된 다환 방향족 탄화수소(polycyclic aromatic hydro, PAHs) 수소화 반응용 촉매로서 Pt(1wt%)/Kieselguhr 비드 촉매 및 펠렛 촉매를 제조하는 것이다. Trickle-bed 반응기에서 PFO-cut 수소화 반응을 통한 포화 고리 화합물(saturated cyclic compound)의 수율을 최대화하기 위한 최적의 반응 온도 및 수소/PFO-cut 유량비는 각각 250℃와 1800으로 결정하였다. PFO-cut의 공간속도(LHSV)가 감소할수록 포화 고리 화합물의 수율이 증가하였다. 펠렛 촉매와 비드 촉매의 수소화 반응 성능 차이는 크지 않았다. Kieselguhr 지지체를 성형한 후에 Pt를 담지한 촉매(AI 촉매)가 kieselguhr 분말에 Pt를 담지한 후에 성형한 촉매(BI 촉매)에 비해 수소화 활성이 높았으며, 이러한 경향은 펠릿 촉매와 비드 촉매에서 공통적으로 나타났다. 이는 AI 촉매의 Pt 활성점 수가 BI 촉매 보다 많기 때문이다. 본 연구에서 제조한 촉매 중에서 AI법으로 제조된 펠렛 촉매가 제조된 촉매 중 반응 활성이 가장 우수한 것을 확인하였다. PFO-cut 수소화 반응 생성물 중 C8~C15 범위의 고리 화합물이 대부분을 차지했으며, C11 고리 화합물의 분포도가 가장 높았다. 수소화 반응과 더불어서 분해 반응도 함께 촉진되어 생성물의 탄소수 분포가 경질 탄화수소 쪽으로 이동함을 확인하였다.
