멜트블로운 부직포 제조공정이 유흡착포의 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Manufacturing Conditions on the Properties of Oil-absorbable Melt Blown Nonwoven)

  • Oil-absorbable nonwovens were produced by melt-blown processing of polypropylene chips. The melt-blown processing conditions, such as air pressure, and gear pump speed, DCD. In this study, these three factors were chosen to produce samples. Experimental array and variance analysis of the design of experiment were used to increase the field repeatability and universality. The effect of the factors on oil absorption properties of melt-blown nonwoven fabric such as oil absorbency were evaluated. As a result, the fiber diameter decreased as gearpump speed decreased or air pressure increased. The oil absorbency increased as air pressure increased or gearpump speed decreased and with the DCD increasing the oil absorbency significantly increased.

  • In this paper, an experiment was carried out to measure the hydrodynamic oil pressure distribution in the clearance gap between a piston and cylinder. The results showed that the pressure distributions are highly affected by the eccentricity of the piston. Therefore present experimental method can be used to enhance the performance of hydraulic piston pumps. Further experimental studies for various operating conditions and improvement in data acquisition methods are required to obtain more accurate results.

  • The influence of essential oils from aboriginal softwoods as Pinus densiflora, Pinus koraiensis, Chamaecyparis obtusa and Chamaecyparis pisifera on the motor coordination, pulse, mean blood artery pressure and pain reducing test was investigated in mice and rats. The motor coordination of mouse was not induced by the inhalation of each oil. Furthermore, these oils did not alter the changes of the mean blood pressure and pulse rate. Chamaecyparis pisifera trand to reduce the mean blood pressure. The abdominal pain induced by acetic acid was reduced only by an essential oil from Pinus koraiensis in mouse.

압축링-유막간의 접촉압력 거동에 관한 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Contact Pressure Behavior in Compression Ring-Oil Film)

  • The contact pressure behavior is examined by means of a finite element analysis. The oil film between the piston ring and cylinder liner is analyzed on the basis that it behaves like a polymer material. The calculated results indicate that a shape of sloping edge with a straight line, which is designated as a Model III, shows a good performance on the contact pressure behavior for the increased speed. Obviously, the ring face profiles play an important role on the contact pressure between compression ring and oil film.

  • Engine lubrication system is generally affected by vehicle driving conditions; acceleration, braking deceleration, and cornering. The oil supply system such as oil pan, baffle plate, and oil pick-up pipe should be optimized to cope with severe driving conditions. The main purpose of this paper is to understand the effect of the engine tilting angle on the oil supply system using engine tilting test rig. For the purpose, the oil pressure fluctuation and oil aeration in the main gallery are measured at various engine tilting angles. In addition, the oil flow is visualized by using transparent oil pan to investigate the cause of the formation of oil aeration. The test results show there is a strong correlation between the main gallery oil pressure fluctuation and oil aeration. It is also found that the visualization technique is helpful to stabilize the oil supply system at severe driving conditions.

  • Oil gear pump is used for the cooling pump system of commercial vehicle. The hydraulic pulsation pressure of oil gear pump is one of the most important reasons for the vibration and noise of the pump. In this study, the several hydraulic factors acting on oil gear motor are analyzed by CFD in operation of cooling system. Forced vibration analysis due to hydraulic pulsation pressure is analyzed by FEA for predicting deformation and equivalent stress.

Effect of trans-Cinnamaldehyde and High Pressure Treatment on Physico-chemical and Microbial Properties of Milk during Storage Periods

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of trans-cinnamaldehyde and high pressure treatment on milk. Cinnamon oil milk was manufactured by high speed homogenization (3,000 rpm) and high pressure homogenization (500 and 2,000 bar) processing UHT milk and trans-cinnamaldehyde of various concentrations (0 to 0.1% (w/v)). Cinnamon oil milk was inoculated with Escherichia coli (6.4 Log CFU/mL) and kept at $7^{\circ}C$ for 10 d to observe the antibacterial effect. The cinnamon oil milk containing 0.05% (w/v) trans-cinnamaldehyde initially began to show an antibacterial effect and Escherichia coli completely died in cinnamon oil milk added 0.1% (w/v) trans-cinnamaldehyde on the 6th day of storage. The result of the TBA value showed that the addition of 0.1% (w/v) trans-cinnamaldehyde was also effective to protect lipid oxidation. In the physical properties of cinnamon oil milk, particle sizes were enlarged in all samples during storage periods and the total color difference of cinnamon oil milk was slightly increased as level of high pressure. The surface tension of cinnamon oil milk treated 2,000 bar was remarkably higher than other samples. It seems that trans-cinnamaldehyde showed antibacterial activity and antioxidation effect at 0.05 and 0.1% (w/v) of concentration. Remarkably, high pressure treatment did not influence its microbial property but slightly affected the physical properties of cinnamon oil milk.

압력변동에 따른 유압유의 유효체적탄성계수 측정에 대한 연구 (A Study on The Estimation of Effective Bulk Modulus of Hydraulic Oil With Pressure Variation)

  • It has been recognized that the compressibility of hydraulic fluid, which is characterized by the value of its bulk modulus, heavily affects on the system behavior and performance. In practice, the value of the oil bulk modulus varies by the operational and structural characteristics of the hydraulic system. This study presents the theoretical derivation of the effective bulk modulus and describes an experimental impulse technique that allows accurate measurement of oil effective bulk modulus with pressure variation in a hydraulic system. Experimental and analytical results show that the value of the effective bulk modulus varies a lot in low pressure region by the effect of entrained air, while the effective bulk modulus can be estimated just using the oil and container bulk modulus on the other high pressure region.

지하 유류비축기지 수벽공의 효율에 관한 현장계측 및 수치 해석 연구 (Field Measurements and Numerical Analysis on the Efficiency of Water Curtain Boreholes in Underground Oil Storages)

  • This study was performed to suggest to suggest suitable design conditions of water curtain system through analysis on pressure down in boreholes by hydraulic tests carried out I construction fields for underground oil storages. The influence by hydraulic conductivities of rock mass around boreholes on pressure down in boreholes was analysed. The relationship between array of boreholes and their pressure down was also analysed. Groundwater flow analysis on crude oil and LPG storages was carried out to evaluate results of field tests and to investigate distribution of hydraulic gradient in rock mass around cavern using finite difference method. As the results, hydraulic tests showed that pressure down in boreholes was inverse proportional to the hydraulic conductivity of surrounding rock mass. The rate of pressure down of boreholes was not influenced by water curtain system more than 20m over cavern and was proportional to installation interval of boreholes. The hydraulic gradient in rock mass around cavern was proportional to distance and interval of boreholes and its value was not satisfactory to oil tightness condition in case of no water curtain system.

  • In the high pressure state, the leakage flow rate of hydraulics is one of serious problems and the great reason to decrease the volume efficiency. In this paper, I tried to clarify tribology characteristics for the slipper hydrostatic bearing in swash plate type axial piston pumps and motors by means of experiment . I measured the leakage flow rate between swash plate and piston shoe with change the supply pressure and oil temperature at a swash plate angle of 0。 . And I also investigated the slipper pocket pressure and calculated oil film thickness for theoretical method. So. 1 have analyzed the tribology characteristics of hydrostatic bearing for leakage flow rate and oil film thickness with oil temperature and supply pressure.
