작업치료사를 위한 운동성 평가도구의 교육효과 (The Effect of Education on Motor Skill Assessment Tool for Occupational Therapists)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 운동발달을 평가하고, 발달성협응장애를 판별할 수 있는 운동성 평가도구인 Movement Assessment Battery for Children-2(MABC-2)을 활용하기 위해 6시간의 교육과정을 통하여 작업치료사의 평가역량이 향상될 수 있는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구에 MABC-2를 임상에서 사용하길 희망하는 작업치료사 33인이 참여하였다. MABC-2 전문가 2인이 교육 참여자들에게 6시간의 교육을 실시하였다. 이론 강의(2시간)는 MABC-2 소개와 운동평가도구의 연구동향, 실습강의(4시간)는 MABC-2 평가항목 소개, 녹화된 평가 장면 관찰, 도구를 사용하여 직접 평가실습을 경험한 후 준비된 사례영상을 보고 채점과 결과분석을 실시하였다. 교육의 효과를 검증하기 위해 모든 교육과정을 마친 후 MABC-2의 전문가 1인과 교육에 참여한 작업치료사 33명이 동시에 평가동영상 샘플을 보면서 평가지에 원점수를 기록하였다. 이중 운동성 평가도구의 경험이 없는 23인의 자료를 활용해 평가자간 신뢰도를 산출하여 교육의 효과성을 검증하였다. 결과 : 본 연구에 참여한 작업치료사는 평균 5년 3개월의 경력을 지닌 30세 이상의 여성으로 약 70%의 교육생은 MABC-2 외에 국내에서 사용 중인 운동성 평가도구를 임상에 적용해 본 경험이 없었다. MABC-2 전문가가 제공한 교육을 받은 작업치료사들과 전문가 간의 ICC 결과는 .95이상으로 높은 평가자간 신뢰도가 확보되었다(p<.001). 결론 : 이론과 실습으로 구성된 6시간의 교육과정에 참여한 작업치료사의 평가자간 신뢰도가 .95이상으로 나타났으며, 운동기술 평가도구를 적절하게 활용할 수 있는 평가역량이 향상되었다. 이를 통하여 MABC-2에 관한 특정한 교육을 제공할 경우 작업치료사가 새로운 평가도구를 적절하게 활용할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 평가와 관련한 직무능력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

외국인 작업자에 대한 기초안전보건교육의 문제점과 개선방안 (Problems and Improvement of Basic Safety and Health Training for Foreign Worker in Construction Sites)

  • 본 연구는 외국인들이 건설업에 종사하기 위해 가장 우선적으로 필요한 건설업 기초안전보건교육의 문제점과 해결방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 예비연구를 바탕으로 건설현장에 근무하는 안전관리감독자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 외국인 건설 작업자에 대한 기초안전보건교육의 개선방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 개선방안은 외국인 작업자들의 안전의식을 높이고, 건설현장의 재해율을 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

서비스업종 사업장의 고용형태 및 직업안전보건활동 특성과 개선방안 연구 (The Study of Preventive Improvement on Employment Type and Occupational Safety & health Activity in the Very Small Service Industry)

  • The labor force has moved to services industry. An industrial accidents of service industry is three people on 10 persons in 2013. This research conducted questionnaire surveys of 1:1 directly person interviews with a structured questionnaire intended for 150 service workplaces, in order to improve occupational safety and health in very small service workplace with less than 5 employee. The survey contents is employment type, safety and health management system, safety and health training, activities. In the results, working with non-regular(informal) workers is two people on 10 persons 27.1% and female workers is about five people on 10 persons with 58.1%, and that 67.9% of non-regular workers who are mainly engaged in the production line appeared. And the work-related injury and accident experience was 3.3% and the occupational injury rate was 1.02%, especially occupational injury rate of female workers was 0.88%. Workplace risk assessment carried out in response that it was very low as 10.0% of the total. Also the safety & health education and activities was very low. Thus the safety consciousness and education is urgently required in order to prevent the industrial accidents.

인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업 취업 가능성 및 관련 직업 특성 탐색 (The Possibility and Occupational Characteristics that Humanities College Graduates are Employed in a Science and Engineering Field Occupations)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 이공계 현직자가 인식하는 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로 취업 가능성을 탐색하고, 이에 대한 직업 특성의 관련성을 파악하는 데 있었다. 이를 위하여 '맞춤형 취업지원을 위한 직업지표 연구(2017)'에서 이공계 현직자 2,600명이 응답한 데이터를 활용하여 기초통계분석, 상관분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로 취업 가능성은 정보통신 및 제조 가공 분야의 일부 직업을 제외하고는 낮은 수준이었다. 둘째, 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로 취업 가능성에 영향을 미치는 직업의 특성은 입직 시 학력의 중요성이 낮고, 전공의 중요성이 낮고, 자격증의 중요성이 낮고, 직업훈련의 중요성은 높으며, 경력단절 이후 복귀가 용이하고, 양성평등 수준이 높으며, 근무 환경이 쾌적하고, 고용 유지도가 높으며, 자영업으로 수행하기에 적합하고, 일자리 수가 증가 등의 모습을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 인문계 대졸자의 취업을 지원하기 위한 직업적인 측면의 방안으로 세부 직업 분야와 특성을 감안한 정책 설계 접근, 인문계 전공자의 강점을 살릴 수 있는 세부 직업의 발굴과 융합 직업의 개발 등을 제언하였다. 이 때 이 연구에서 밝힌 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로의 취업 가능성과 직업 특성 요인들의 관련성에 대한 정보가 유용하게 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.

화장품 제조업 근로자의 화학물질 인식도 비교 (Comparison of Recognition of Chemical Substances of Cosmetics Manufacturing Workers)

  • To identify the relationship between types of employment(regular and non-regular group) and departments classification (administration, product and research group) and the levels of recognition of chemical substances, a total of 117 workers in cosmetics workplaces. Mainly, regular group and research group showed higher recognition of chemical substances (PPE, ventilation, chemical management, hazards in handling chemicals, skin contact) than non-regular group and administration, product group, but In some cases, production and administrative groups were high. Descriptive statistics(SAS ver9.2)was performed. the results of recognition of chemical substances were analyzed the mean and standard deviation by t-test, and anova, (P=0.05). These results cosmetics manufacturing workplaces have normal level of the perception of chemical substances. In most of the employment types, the regular workers showed high recognition, and the working departments showed high recognition in the research and production groups. Therefore, OEM and ODM cosmetics manufacturers regularly identify characteristics and needs of workplaces and workers, and suggest the development of experience and practiced education programs and risk assessment tools that can raise worker awareness.

Knowledge and Experiences of Risks among Pupils in Vocational Education

  • Background: Young male and female workers are over-represented in statistics concerning negative outcomes of poor work environment and risky work. Young workers often have low awareness of risk, a lack of safety training, and inadequate introduction to the work. The aim of this study was to identify the knowledge and experiences of pupils of vocational schools concerning potential work environment risks in their future work. Methods: The study design was a dual one, and included a questionnaire and focus group interviews. The study group consisted of 239 pupils from 10 upper secondary schools, who were graduating pupils in four vocational programs: the Industrial Technology Programme, the Restaurant Management and Food Programme, the Transport Programme, and the Handicraft Programme (in which students specialize in wood products). The upper secondary schools were located in the central region of Sweden. Results: The pupils had limited knowledge that employers must, by law, conduct risk analyses and prevent risks. Many felt that they themselves are mainly responsible for performing their tasks safely. Pupils in all programs mentioned acute risk as the greatest risk at work. The theoretical education about safety at work was provided in the $1^{st}$ year of the 3-year vocational programs. Conclusion: A systematic approach to pupils' training in work environment, which is a basis for a safe and healthy workplace, is lacking. The study findings indicate that pupils are offered knowledge far from that intended by laws and by state-of-the-art occupational health risk research.

보건관리자 공동채용 모형 개발 (I) -산업간호사 의견을 중심으로- (Developing the Joint Employment System of Occupational Nurse Practitioners for the Minor Enterprises in Korea (part 1))

  • The occupational health services for the minor enterprises are poor comparing with that of large enterprises in Korea. In 1997, Korean government announced officially the law on joint employment system of occupational health practitioners to solve the problems. This study is to develop the model on the joint employment system of occupational nurse practitioners for minor enterprises in Korea based on the opinions of occupational health nurses (OH Ns). The data were collected by questionnares from October to November in 1997. The number of subjects was 210 occupational health nurses who had participated the mandatory nursing education program provided by the Korean Occupational Health Nurses Association(KOHNA). The response rate was 47.1%. The contents of questionnaires were general characteristics, occupational & job characteristics of OHNs, and the views on the joint employment system. The SAS-PC program was used for the statistical analysis. The results were as followed, (1) The proper number of industies was 3 and the appropriate number of workers was 448 for one joint employed occupational nurse practitioner (J EONP). (2) 44.7% of the OHNs wanted that the Ministry of Labor monitored the way and content of contraction b/w JEONP and minor emterprises, 82.6% of the OHNs wanted that KOHNA managed the employment informations. (3) The OHNs of occupational health agencies showed more positive attitude than the OHNs of private industries on the joint employment system. (4) 88.3% of the OHNs wanted the education training for JEONP. Especially in occupational hygiene and safety control. (5) The OHNs expected the role expansion of Occupational Health Nursing by JEONP system. At the same time they worried the adverse effects. For the successful execution of this system, it is necessary the cooperation among the Ministry of Labor, KOHNA, the minor enterprises, and the OHNs.

소년원 직업능력개발훈련 개선방안 연구 (The improvement of vocational training in juvenile protection agencies)

  • 본 연구는 사회적 약자인 보호소년의 직업능력개발을 위해 보호소년의 직업능력개발훈련 실태를 분석하고, 성공적인 사회 복귀를 위한 개선 방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구목적의 달성을 위해, 직업훈련교사 전수(23명)와 현재 직업훈련에 1개월 이상 참여한 보호소년 533명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 직업훈련교사와 보호소년 모두 소년원 직업훈련의 내실화를 위한 현장실습강화, 보호소년 학습능력 보완, 전문 인력 확보 등의 개선방안이 요구되었다.

PRACTICE SPECIFIC TRAINING FOR APPLICATION OF IONIZING RADIATION IN INDUSTRIES

  • Industrial radiography practice is usually employed in public domain. Over the years there are several radiation accidents reported in this practice. The accidents often result in severe or fatal exposures to occupational workers and public. The number of radiation accidents is also significant when compared with other industrial accidents. This paper describes practice specific training as one of the measures to the improve radiation safety and reduce the accidents. The efforts by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to disseminate information and to improve the radiation safety status in industrial radiography are also discussed.

참여형 개선기법(PAOT)의 원리를 적용한 대사증후군 관리 프로그램 효과분석 (The Effect of Metabolic syndrome Management Program Applying Participatory Action-Oriented Training Principle)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to apply participatory action-oriented training (PAOT) principle for the management of metabolic syndrome and to assess its effectiveness in the workplace. Methods: The metabolic syndrome management program applying participatory action-oriented training (PAOT) principle is constructed action checklist, Group discussion, self-creation of an action plan, after 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, the practice carried out check up and encourage practice activity. Results: The seventy-seven workers who participated in the metabolic syndrome management program made a total of 246 action plans, 3.8 action plans per person and 234 action plans were achieved after one year, so that 81.0% of action plans have been achieved. After 1 year, in the intervention group, systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP), body mass index (BMI), the risk factors score decreased statistically significant, and metabolic syndrome prevalence decreased 54.8%. whereas the control group also showed a significant decreased in the mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure, the risk factors score. but, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) was significantly increased. Conclusions: To improve the effectiveness of metabolic syndrome management program applying participatory action-oriented training (PAOT) principle, the need to continues implementing programs and analysis of the long-term effects are required. Participatory action-oriented training (PAOT) principle can applying without cost and time, the human burden for the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as metabolic syndrome.
