  • Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a comorbidity of COVID-19; therefore, routine early diagnosis is crucial. A large number of examination attributes in the context of diagnosing CHD is a distinct obstacle during the pandemic when the number of health service users is significant. The development of a precise machine learning model for diagnosis with a minimum number of examination attributes can allow examinations and healthcare actions to be undertaken quickly. This study proposes a CHD diagnosis model based on feature selection, data balancing, and ensemble-based classification methods. In the feature selection stage, a hybrid SVM-GA combined with fast correlation-based filter (FCBF) is used. The proposed system achieved an accuracy of 94.60% and area under the curve (AUC) of 97.5% when tested on the z-Alizadeh Sani dataset and used only 8 of 54 inspection attributes. In terms of performance, the proposed model can be placed in the very good category.

  • Large scalp defects resulting from high-voltage electrical burns require free flaps, preferably skin, to permit optimal coverage and enable future or simultaneous cranial vault reconstruction. The anterolateral thigh permits the harvest of a large area of skin supplied by a reliable perforator. The superficial temporal vessels offer the proximate choice of recipient vessels to enable adequate reach and coverage. The lack of a second vein at this site implies the inability to perform a second venous anastomosis; however, this obstacle can be overcome by using an interposition vein graft, to the neck veins primarily. This assures adequate venous drainage and complete flap survival.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore a spatial agglomeration characteristics and innovative milieu of the shoemaking industry in Seoul. In order to explain it, currently discussed dynamic agglomeration economies approach is applied and as an example, shoemaking industry in Seoul has been analyzed. The result of this research can be boardly summarized into two points. Frist, agglomeration economy is changing from urbanization economy to localization economy in this newly rising core of shoemaking industry which is Sung-Su dong area. Also, cooperative effects based on collective efficiency between companies and people are being generated within the area. This is largely affected by networking infrastructure between companies and people within the area, non-trade dependency and social capital acclamation. Secondly, the lack of institutional agglomeration formation in this area is considered to be the obstacle for the long-term development and innovation spin-off. This means recognition switch-over and institutional concern and support is needed in the future from the public sector.

  • In this paper, we propose a post-processing method through interpolation of hole regions that occur when extracting point clouds. When image matching is performed on stereo image data, holes occur due to occlusion and building façade area. This area may become an obstacle to the creation of additional products based on the point cloud in the future, so an effective processing technique is required. First, an initial point cloud is extracted based on the disparity map generated by applying stereo image matching. We transform the point cloud into a grid. Then a hole area is extracted due to occlusion and building façade area. By repeating the process of creating Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) triangle in the hall area and processing the inner value of the triangle as the minimum height value of the area, it is possible to perform interpolation without awkwardness between the building and the ground surface around the building. A new point cloud is created by adding the location information corresponding to the interpolated area from the grid data as a point. To minimize the addition of unnecessary points during the interpolation process, the interpolated data to an area outside the initial point cloud area was not processed. The RGB brightness value applied to the interpolated point cloud was processed by setting the image with the closest pixel distance to the shooting center among the stereo images used for matching. It was confirmed that the shielded area generated after generating the point cloud of the target area was effectively processed through the proposed technique.

  • Recently, owing to the development of ICT industry and wide spread of smart phone, the number of people who use car sharing service are increased rapidly. Currently two-way car sharing system with same rental and return locations are mainly operated since this system can be easily implemented and maintained. Currently the demand of one-way car sharing service has increase explosively. But this system have several obstacle in operation, especially, vehicle stock imbalance issues which invoke vehicle relocation. Hence in this study, we present an optimization approach to depot location and relocation policy in one-way car sharing systems. At first, we modelled as mixed-integer programming models whose objective is to maximize the profits of a car sharing organization considering all the revenues and costs involved and several constraints of relocation policy. And to solve this problem efficiently, we proposed a new method based on particle swarm optimization, which is one of powerful meta-heuristic method. The practical usefulness of the approach is illustrated with a case study involving satellite cities in Seoul Metrolitan Area including several candidate area where this kind systems have not been installed yet and already operating area. Our proposed approach produced plausible solutions with rapid computational time and a little deviation from optimal solution obtained by CPLEX Optimizer. Also we can find that particle swarm optimization method can be used as efficient method with various constraints. Hence based on this results, we can grasp a clear insight into the impact of depot location and relocation policy schemes on the profitability of such systems.

  • The production-rule generation from training examples is a hard problem that has large space and many local optimal solutions. Many learning methods are proposed for production-rule generation and genetic algorithms is an alternative learning method. However, traditional genetic algorithms has been known to have an obstacle in converging at the global solution area and show poor efficiency of production-rules generated. In this paper, we propose a production-rule generating method which uses genetic algorithm learning. By analyzing optimal sub-solutions captured by genetic algorithm learning, our method takes advantage of its schema structure and thus generates relatively small rule set.

  • Added value of music industry in Korea is not distributed and calculated properly, and this obstacle brings various problems in a creative environment. Meanwhile, a new business model such as Open Collaboration, Crowdsourcing and platform that makes decisions and innovation from external resources has been appeared in commercial area. This new model like a composer delivers to consumers directly through Youtube.com, and multi collaboration is applied to the music industry, and it enables a new type of mechanism for creation, distribution, division, and calculation of music. However there are not enough empirical study of the music market because existing relative researches has been centered around fundamental concepts and application methodologies. This research defines Open Collaboration Platform in the music industry, and studies affecting factors of Participation Intention for example Justice, Information System Quality and Perceived Value. For a survey we apply PLS(Partial Least Square) to analyse Equity, Information System Quality and structural equation between Perceived Value and Participation Intention. Analysis results show Distributive Justice and Procedural Justice affects Platform Trust, and Service Quality, Economical Value and Emotional Value affects Platform Usefulness. Also Platform Trust and Platform Usefulness affects Platform Participation Intention. We discussed academic and practical implication based on research results.

  • GPS is widely used for outdoor positioning in many applications. But it is not suitable for positioning in an obstacle environment such as urban area, tunnels and so on, due to variable signal level. So new technology of the positioning is required to provide the consistent error level regardless of any changes in any environment. Abrupt changes of GPS signal can be detected by various fault detection and isolation methods. Conventional FDI (Fault Detection and Isolation) methods are categorized into two approaches. One approach is the snapshot method that uses measurements only at present step. The other approach is the filtering method that uses measurements stacked from previous step to present step. The FDI result of the snapshot method can be considered reliable independently with previous results and the FDI result of the filtering method is more reliable and detection time is a little longer. Therefore combining approach of two methods is proposed for increasing FDI performance in this paper. Three approaches that are the snapshot method, the filtering method and the combining method are compared to show the probability of correct FDI in simulations. The combining approach presents best result of FDI among them and shows the consistent accuracy irrespective of any changes in outdoor environment.

  • The majority of both small and large-scale experiments on gas explosion have been carried out in the explosion instruments with cylindrical tubes of a high length/diameter ratio and vessels of a high height/length ratio, focusing on investigating the interaction between propagating flame and obstacles inside the tubes or vessels. The results revealed that there is a strong interaction between the propagating flame and turbulence formed after the flame passes the obstacle. However this paper focuses on analyzing the pressure impact or profile outside the vent in vented gas explosion in a partially confined chamber by performing gas explosion experiments in a reduced-scale experimental assembly properly constructed. This study has considered eight different cases in gas explosion based on variation of three kinds of parameters such as height of vessel, shape of the vent and vent size, and reveals that the large vessel with big size circle vent is more danger to the target than others because the overpressure is spread out faraway horizontally and vertically.

  • Palletizing task is well-known time consuming and laborious process in factory, hence automation is seriously required. To do this, artificial robot is generally used. These systems however, mostly user teaches the robot point to point and to avoid time-variable obstacle, robot is required to attach the vision camera. These system structures bring about inefficiency and additional cost. In this paper we propose task-oriented trajectory generation algorithm for palletizing. This algorithm based on $A^{*}$ algorithm and slice plane theory, and modify the object dealing method. As a result, we show the elapsed simulation time and compare with old method. This simulation algorithm can be used directly to the off-line palletizing simulator and raise the performance of robot palletizing simulator not using excessive motion area of robot to avoid adjacent components or vision system. Most of all, this algorithm can be used to low-level PC or portable teach pendent
