  • Despite the effectiveness of oriental medical practice in the diagnosis of symptoms and providing cure to it, the preferences in western medicinal values is socially prevalent. The diagnosis of a disease using western medicinal practices provides us with an objective diagnostic result, however, decisions by oriental doctors are based on their heuristic intuitions developed by practice and experience. Objective solutions for the cure of symptoms using oriental medical therapy can have a high impact on the world market. Therefore, development of diagnostic machines based on oriental therapy can enhance the Ocular Inspection which is evaluated as one of the best diagnostic treatment among Oriental Medical Science, is not researched much compared to other diagnoses. Because there is no color diagnosis rules for digital machines to analyze the actual color, looking at the person's face color is one of the most important components to diagnose the disease or illness. The thesis proposes the implementation of absolute observing a person's face color standards of the color settings for objective diagnosis. As a results, comparative digital color analysis for observing a person's face color can be the most effective rule based Color scheme system to diagnose disease. A standard solution for the researching conditions is suggested to reduce the variable which may occur depending on the differences between the researching conditions.

  • Oriental base diagnosis method is not going to hospital different from Oriental medicine and because of the possible disease diagnosis through the network and many communication equipment. Especially diagnosis development using ocular inspection method aspect of Oriental medicine among an aging society advance into cut the medical cost for contribution. Ocular inspection method the most important look at disease color that is Observing a Person's Shape and Color which is implementation the development of methodology and important the build of application ability system. So in this paper study observing a person's shape and color implementation of ocular inspection. Specially body's the five viscera presentate the five colors disease color in face that is important the color coordinate system thesis so that proceed the experiment for the color coordinate system analysis. Finally five color extract need the observing a person's shape and color through experiment select the digital color system and so real skin color analysis and comparison about the experiment which suggest the something to color coordinate system the best case of digital color system for observing a person's shape and color implementation.

  • In this paper, We propose face type classification, tongue region extraction and tongue color analysis method for Oriental medicine diagnosis system to supply web based medical treatment information. This presents to construct system that takes super aging society and uses ocular inspection and longue diagnosis in web-based to embody this by an IT Technology as generalization and popularization of medical benefit are social requirement and supplies medical treatment information. Place that reflect living body signal of human body ordinarily and appear becomes iris or tongue, five sensory organs etc. This paper proposes classification of face type, extraction of five sensory organs for observing a person's shape and color among diseases diagnosis based on home health care that propose to develop and region extraction and color analysis etc, of tongue which intensively represents the bio-signals of human-beings. Finally, the effectiveness of this paper is verified by several experiments.

  • In the modern everyday life, cars the largest proportion of smart features that require mounting in a variety of smart devices and smart methods on have been developed. In this paper, the smart car among the main core of the safety management system optional for the control of drinking and drowsiness, as part of system development, will be drinking if you start your car automatically is to develop a system to avoid driving. For this, through image processing to analyze the driver's seat of the driver's facial color how to determine whether or not drinking alcohol is proposed. In particular, the system developed in this paper determines whether or not drinking alcohol before the face images without the need for alcohol after only a unique color change of the face appears to target only way to determine whether drinking and actual alcohol control center of a smart car safety control management system can be applied effectively. The experiment was done in 30 patients after drinking appears face color changes of them. We also perform an analysis on the statistical significance of the experimental results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • 한의학은 대체의학이나 예방의학으로서의 활용이 가능한 우리나라의 독창적인 의료 체계이지만 세계시장 진출은 고사하고 국내에서의 인지도마저 낮은 실정이다. 이를 위해 한의학의 진단 기술과 IT 기술을 융합하여 한의학의 진단의 객관성을 확립함으로서 한의학의 대중화 및 인지도 상승을 위해 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으나 망진에서 가장 중요한 색윤에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정에서 본 논문에서는 색윤을 특정 할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 이를 실험을 통해 입증하고자 한다.

  • 한의학은 우수한 진단 능력을 보유하고 있음에도 불구하고 임상의의 직관에 머물러 있었던데 비해 서양의학은 다양한 진단 기기 개발로 인해 시장 성숙도 및 선호도에서 발전을 거듭하는 결과를 가져왔다. 본 논문에서는 한방의 직관적 진단법을 시각화, 객관화하기 위해 4진 방법 중 안면 망진 기법을 기기로 구현하기 위한 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 찰색에 필요한 영역을 자동으로 분할하기 위한 방법을 개발하여 질병 진단에 필요한 진단 데이터를 시각화, 정량화, 계량화하기 위한 작업을 행하고자 한다. 또한 얼굴 안면의 색상 보정을 위해 화이트 밸런스 촬영으로 이미지를 분석하고 얼굴영역을 추출하며, 이목구비와 명당 영역을 추출하여 찰색에 필요한 영역을 분할해 내고자 한다. 끝으로 실험에 의해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.

  • One of the most important things in the researches on diseases is to attach more importance to prevention of a disease and preservation of health than to treatment of a disease, also to foods rather than to medicines. In this context, the most significant concern in examining a patient is to find the presence of disease, and, if any, to diaguose the type of disease, after which a pharmacotherapy is followed. In this paper, various diagnosis methods of Oriental medicines are discussed. And ocular inspection, the most important method among the 4 disease diagnoses of Oriental medicines, is studied. Observing a person's shape and color has been the major method for ocular inspection, which usually has been dependent upon doctor's intuition as of these days. We are developing an automatic system which provides objective basic data for ocular inspection. As the first stage, we applied the signal processing techniques to automatic feature extraction of faces for ocular inspection. Firstly, facial regions are extracted from the point of frontal view, which was followed by extraction of their features. The experiment applied to 20 persons showed that frontal face regions are perfectly extracted, as well as their features, such as eyes, eyebrows, noses and mouths. Future work will seek to address the issues of morphological operation for a few unfinished extraction results, such as combined hair and eyebrows.

  • 한의학의 대중화 및 선호도 향상을 위해 가장 시급하고 중요한 일이 임상의들의 직관을 정량화 및 객관화 하는 일이다. 특히 병색을 살피는 망진(望診)의 경우 임상 현장뿐 아니라 u-헬스에 기반이 될 수 있는 진단법인 관계로 더욱 망진에 대한 정량화 작업이 시급하며 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 이와 같이 망진의 공학적 융합을 통한 시스템화를 위해서는 디지털 기기의 특성상 일어날 수 있는 색 정보의 손실을 최소화 하여야 하며 색 분석을 위한 기준을 만들어 주어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 한의학의 찰색을 시스템 하기 위한 실험 환경 및 조건 등에 대한 기준을 제안하고, 또한 질병에 따른 특정 부위의 색상을 살피기 위해 가장 효율적인 디지털 색 체계가 무엇인지를 다양한 실험을 통해 분석한 자료를 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on the Cun, Guan, Chi (Inch, Bar, Cubit) from the Elementary Course for Medicine{Yi Xue Ru Men) (의학입문(醫學入門)의 촌관척(寸關尺)에 관한 고찰(考察))

  • Background and Purpose: Feeling the pulse is based on the pulse condition and alteration to observe the condition of the human body's health and by using a healthy person's pulse as a standard we are able to analyze the patient's pulse to find the attacked channel and collateral, viscera and bowels and understand the pathology such as diseases caused by exogenous evil, disorder of internal organs, and seven modes of emotions. Observing the color and shade of the patient's face, listening carefully to the sound of the patient, and feeling the pulse are methods in accordance with Su Wen 'Plain Questions', 'The Classic on Difficulty' (5th century B.C. Bianque), 'The Classic of Sphymology' (280 A.D. Wang Xi), 'Pulse Formulas' (1189 A.D. Cui Jiayan), and is systematically edited for those who have started studying to easily reach the profound state. Therefore, 'The Elementary Course for Medicine' has been used from ancient times as the textbook for diagnostics. Methods: In this Study, we will inspect commonly used pulse feeling methods, the inch, bar, cubit thesis, the viscera and bowels thesis from The Elementary Course for Medicine and inquire the difference of the text from 'Plain Questions of Huangdi's Internal Classic', 'Treatise on Febrile Diseases', 'Classic on Difficulty'. Results and Conclusion: 1. In 'The Elementary Course for Medicine' the site of the wrist along the pulsation of the radial artery is divided into inch, bar, cubit and has defined the inch, bar, cubit crossways. 2. In 'The Elementary Course of Medicine' the inch, bar, cubit for the left hand and right hand is subjected to each viscera and bowel. By assigning the left hand's inch, bar, cubit to the cardial orb, the hepatic orb, the renal orb, and the right hand's inch, bar, cubit to the pulmonic orb, the splenic orb, the vital gate it has been able to feel the pulse for each viscera and bowel by using the interpromoting and interacting relation of the five evolutive phases.
