The GEO-KOMPSAT-2A (GK2A) satellite, which was launched in December 2018, carries weather observation payloads and uses the image navigation and registration system to calibrate the observation images. The calibration system requires accurate orbit prediction data and depends on the accuracy of the orbit determination accuracy. In order to find a possible way to improve the current orbit determination accuracy of the GK2A flight dynamic subsystem module, orbit determination software was developed to independently evaluate the orbit determination accuracy. A comprehensive satellite dynamic model is applied for a batch-type least squares filter. When determining the orbit, thrust firing during station-keeping maneuvers and wheel-off loading maneuvers is taken into account. One month of GK2A ranging data were processed to estimate the satellite position on a daily basis. The orbit determination error was evaluated by comparing estimates during overlapping estimation intervals.
Among the interplanetary shock (IP shock)s observed by ACE spacecraft at 1AU during 1997 to 2000, we have selected 31 IP shocks which had triggered the interplanetary type II radio bursts detected by the WIND spacecraft while those shocks were leaving the Sun. We compared the observed IP shock propagation speeds and the IP shock transit speeds estimated by time difference between the interplanetary type II radio burst detection and the IP shock observation. Then, we found that the mean acceleration of the IP shocks between the Sun and the Earth is about $-1.02m/sec^2$, which means the deceleration contrary to the positive acceleration predicted by Parker solar wind model. It is also verified that the acceleration of the IP shock does not show any linear correlation with the shock propagation speed and the Mach number of the IP shock.
In Friction Stir Lap Welding(FSLW), the movement of material within the weld was more important than the microstructure, due to the interface present between the sheets. Thus, The soundness of free defect, Effective Sheet Thickness(EST) and width of joint were most important factor of mechanical properties. Specimens by lap joint types that were 'A-type' and 'R-type' were made in this study. A-type tensile specimen was loaded at advancing side and R-type tensile specimen was loaded at retreating side. Macro-, micro-structural observation and mechanical properties of FSLW A5052-H112 alloy ware investigated under varying rotating and welding speed. The results were as follows: Material hook formed decreasing after sharply increasing was appeared at the end interface of joint area in advanced side, and material hook formed decreasing after smoothly increasing was observed at that in retreated side. Tensile load had no relation with defects. As rotating speed was higher, tensile strength was increasing and EST was decreasing regardless of joint types. joint efficiency was over 70%. In a result of fractography, fracture in A-type was partially occurred by dimple in SZ, and fracture in R-type was generally occurred by dimple in HAZ.
Purpose: The objective of this study was to compare initial implant stability measured by RFA between different implant systems during the initial healing period. Material and Methods: Fifty-four patients (36 males/18 females) who had been treated at the Department of Periodontology, Chonbuk National University Dental Hospital during the period between January and November in 2007 were included in the study. The mean age of the subjects was 49 years old (18 to 77). A total of 104 implants (Type A: 3i $Osseotite^{(R)}$, Type B: $Replace^{(R)}$ select, Type C: ITI implant) were placed following the manufacturer's standard surgical protocols. Implant stability quotient (ISQ) readings were obtained for each implant at the time of surgery, 2-, and 4-month postoperatively. Result: No implant was failed during the observation period. At the baseline, the difference between mean ISQ values of 3 implant systems was statistically significant (p<0.05). However, at 2-, and 4-month following implant surgery, no significant difference was observed between ISQ values of the implant systems. In the same implant, the ISQ values of Type B and C implants increased (p<0.05), but those of Type A implants decreased during the 2-month healing period. The mean ISQ values of Type B and C implants showed a increasing tendency, while those of Type A implants were stable for the 4-month follow-up period. Conclusion: Within limits of this study, it can be concluded that implant design and surface topography of implant might influence the ISQ value and changing pattern during the initial healing period.

ISB (Inner structured and bonded) panel with a pyramidal inner structure is actively developing to reduce the weight and to improve the crashworthiness of the material. The objective of this paper is to investigate into the variation of impact characteristics of ISB panels with a pyramidal inner structure according to joining types between skin sheets and inner structures. Several drop impact tests have been performed. In order to examine the impact characteristics at a drawing condition, drawing type of experimental set-up has been proposed. From the results of the experiments, the influence of joining types between skin sheets and the inner structures on the characteristics of the deformation, the energy absorption and the failure has been quantitatively examined. In addition, it has been shown that maximum load decreased and the maximum displacement increases as the joining type changes from the bonding to the welding. The results of the observation of the specimen have been shown that major wrinkles form in the minor crimping direction irrespective of the joining types. Through the comparison of the experimental results for bonding and welding specimens, it has been shown that the absorption energy of the bonded specimen is nearly 1.3-1.5 times of the welded specimen at the same displacement.
We present the results of simultaneous observations of the H2O and SiO masers emitted from the circumstellar envelopes of the late-type stars. These observations have been carried out at the K and Q bands using KVN since 2014 August and were scheduled to test the feasibility of multi-frequency phase referencing analysis on the maser lines. In order to increase the accuracy of group delay solution in the fringe search on the continuum source, the IF channels were randomly distributed within the available bandwidth of 500 MHz in each band. The positions of all maser spots are relatively described with respect to the position of the reference continuum source through the source frequency phase referencing technique, and this provides the astrometric position accuracy. Therefore, the relative locations of the H2O maser spots with respect to the SiO maser spots are determined from our observations, and the capability of the simultaneous multi-band observation of KVN is proved to be powerful to study the maser pumping mechanism around the late-type stars.

The aim of this reviews is to introduce the information concerning design of the UV-curable jet ink composition in order to provide a good adhesive property on non-porous surface. In order to clarify the viscosity dependence of flying speed for the UV curable jet ink, rheological analysis and observation of the flying state of the ink were carried out. The relationship between ink formulas and adhesive property on non-porous surface was investigated. It was examined the adhesive property of radical polymerization type UV curable jet ink included hydrogen abstraction type photo-initiator, it was expected that the strong adhesive strength can be obtained between the ink and non-porous surface in this study. UV curable jet ink with a slight amount of water was prepared. Optimum ratio of the cationic polymerization type UV curable jet ink shows an adequate adhesive strength towards two kinds of non-porous surface such as glass, poly(vinyl chloride) when tests were conducted on the ink jet-printing test machine.
The effect of residual metallic sodium on the solidification cracking susceptibility of type 316FR stainless steel was investigated via transverse-Varestraint tests. And a solidification brittle temperature range (BTR) of type 316FR stainless steel was 37 K. However, the BTR expanded from 37 to 67 K, as the amount of metallic sodium at the specimen surface increased from 0 to $7.99mg/cm^2$. Microstructural observation of the weld metal suggested that metallic sodium existed in the weld metal, including in the cell boundaries, during welding solidification. Thermodynamic calculations suggested that sodium expanded the temperature range of solidliquid coexistence during welding solidification of the steel weld metal. Therefore, the increased solidification cracking susceptibility (i.e., expansion of the BTR) in the residual sodium environment was attributed to enhanced segregation of sodium during the welding solidification; this segregation, in turn, resulted in an expanded temperature range of solid-liquid coexistence.

A series of tests of 5 model ships, selected from a data survey of 10 Gross Tonnage actual fishing boats, were performed in two circulating water channels (Chosun University in Korea and WJFEL in Japan), in order to develop the basic hull form of a 25 knots-class fishing boat. Resistance tests, trim and sinkage measurements and wave pattern observations etc., were included in each I1wdel test, and the model test results were compared and analyzed. The result was as follows: P-4 hull form ship changed into Deep V type bow is the best hull form with good performance, especially with regard to ship's resistance efficiency.
Background Rupture is an important complication of breast implants. Before cohesive gel silicone implants, rupture rates of both saline and silicone breast implants were over 10%. Through an analysis of ruptured implants, we can determine the various factors related to ruptured implants. Methods We performed a retrospective review of 72 implants that were removed for implant rupture between 2005 and 2014 at a single institution. The following data were collected: type of implants (saline or silicone), duration of implantation, type of implant shell, degree of capsular contracture, associated symptoms, cause of rupture, diagnostic tools, and management. Results Forty-five Saline implants and 27 silicone implants were used. Rupture was diagnosed at a mean of 5.6 and 12 years after insertion of saline and silicone implants, respectively. There was no association between shell type and risk of rupture. Spontaneous was the most common reason for the rupture. Rupture management was implant change (39 case), microfat graft (2 case), removal only (14 case), and follow-up loss (17 case). Conclusions Saline implants have a shorter average duration of rupture, but diagnosis is easier and safer, leading to fewer complications. Previous-generation silicone implants required frequent follow-up observation, and it is recommended that they be changed to a cohesive gel implant before hidden rupture occurs.
