  • In this paper, we propose an histogram weighted centroid based Siamese region proposal network for object tracking. The original Siamese region proposal network uses two identical artificial neural networks which take two different images as the inputs and decide whether the same object exist in both input images based on a similarity measure. However, as the Siamese network is pre-trained offline, it experiences many difficulties in the adaptation to various online environments. Therefore, in this paper we propose to incorporate the histogram weighted centroid feature into the Siamese network method to enhance the accuracy of the object tracking. The proposed method uses both the histogram information and the weighted centroid location of the top 10 color regions to decide which of the proposed region should become the next predicted object region.

  • Recently, autonomous robots which can achieve the complex tasks have been required with the advance of robotics. Advanced robot vision for recognition is necessary for the realization of such robots. In this paper, we propose a method to recognize an object in the actual environment. We assume that a 3D-object model used in our proposal method is the voxel data. Its inside is full up and its surface has color information. We also define the word "recognition" as the estimation of a target object's condition. This condition means the posture and the position of a target object in the actual environment. The proposal method consists of three steps. In Step 1, we extract features from the 3D-object model. In Step 2, we estimate the position of the target object. At last, we estimate the posture of the target object in Step 3. And we experiment in the actual environment. We also confirm the performance of our proposal method from results.

  • It is essential to collect and analyze target information around the vehicle for autonomous driving of the vehicle. Based on the analysis, environmental information such as location and direction should be analyzed in real time to control the vehicle. In particular, obstruction or cutting of objects in the image must be handled to provide accurate information about the vehicle environment and to facilitate safe operation. In this paper, we propose a method to simultaneously generate 2D and 3D bounding box proposals using LiDAR Edge generated by filtering LiDAR sensor information. We classify the classes of each proposal by connecting them with Region-based Fully-Covolutional Networks (R-FCN), which is an object classifier based on Deep Learning, which uses two-dimensional images as inputs. Each 3D box is rearranged by using the class label and the subcategory information of each class to finally complete the 3D bounding box corresponding to the object. Because 3D bounding boxes are created in 3D space, object information such as space coordinates and object size can be obtained at once, and 2D bounding boxes associated with 3D boxes do not have problems such as occlusion.

  • Object detection is applied in various field. Autonomous driving, surveillance, OCR(optical character recognition) and aerial image etc. We will look at the algorithms that are using to object detect. These algorithms are divided into two methods. The one is R-CNN algorithms [2], [5], [6] which based on region proposal. The other is YOLO [7] and SSD [8] which are one stage object detector based on regression/classification.

  • Visual Object Tracking is known as the most fundamental problem in the field of computer vision. Object tracking localize the region of target object with bounding box in the video. In this paper, a custom CNN is created to extract object feature that has strong and various information. This network was constructed as a Siamese network for use as a feature extractor. The input images are passed convolution block composed of a bottleneck layers, and features are emphasized. The feature map of the target object and the search area, extracted from the Siamese network, was input as a local proposal network. Estimate the object area using the feature map. The performance of the tracking algorithm was evaluated using the OTB2013 dataset. Success Plot and Precision Plot were used as evaluation matrix. As a result of the experiment, 0.611 in Success Plot and 0.831 in Precision Plot were achieved.

  • May(1985) argued that the regress problem of antecedent-contained deletion (ACD) construction could be resolved easily by positing QR. But the proposal has some conceptual and empirical problems. To resolve the problems of QR account on ACD, Hornstein(1994) suggested a new approach viz. LF A-movement approach. In the Minimalist framework, an object raises to the [Spec, Agro] to check the accusative case. Through this movement, the regress problem can be resolved naturally without QR. But the LF A-movement account has the same conceptual problem as the QR approach. In addition to the conceptual problem, it has also empirical problems which were pointed out by Kennedy(1997). To solve the problems, I propose that the object raise to [Spec Agro] overtly as Koizumi(1993, 1995) and Lasnik(1995) insisted. In addition to the proposal, I adopt another assumption that only the copy of a quantifier could become a variable by the vehicle change, which was suggested by Brody(1995). With the above proposals, the unnatural QR operation could be dispensed with and the conceptual and empirical problems which were made concerning the LF A-movement approach could be resolved.

  • Human can update the memory with new information not forgetting acquired information in the memory. ART(Adaptive Resonance Theory) does not need to change all information. The methodology of ART is followed. The ART updates the memory with the new information that is unknown if it is similar with the memorized information. On the other hand, if it is unknown information the ART adds it to the memory not updating the memory with the new one. This paper shows that ART is able to classify sensory information of a certain object. When ART receives new information of the object as an input, it searches for the nearest thing among the acquired information in the memory. If it is revealed that new information of the object has similarity with the acquired object, the model is updated to reflect new information to the memory. When new object does not have similarity with the acquired object, the model register the object into new memory

In thls paper, we describe the structure of the Object-linked Broadcasting System that will enable our proposal to be realized, and report new techniques that we have developed to create the system. We have carried out the experiment to confirm the system performance as well as execution of each technology assembling the system. We have confirmed that the performance of the system we developed satisfies the proposed specification based on user requirements and current technology.

  • Visual tracking of selected target objects is fundamental challenging problems in computer vision. Object tracking localize the region of target object with bounding box in the video. We propose a Siam-FPN based custom fully CNN to solve visual tracking problems by regressing the target area in an end-to-end manner. A method of preserving the feature information flow using a feature map connection structure was applied. In this way, information is preserved and emphasized across the network. To regress object region and to classify object, the region proposal network was connected with the Siamese network. The performance of the tracking algorithm was evaluated using the OTB-100 dataset. Success Plot and Precision Plot were used as evaluation matrix. As a result of the experiment, 0.621 in Success Plot and 0.838 in Precision Plot were achieved.

  • In this Paper, it has a proposal of the RFID(RFID : Radio Frequency Identification) system for high-speed recognition between the tag attached a mobile object moving high-speed and the static reader. It used 13.56MHz frequency at ISM band, and designed a reader in order to recognize a mobile object moving high-speed. It will be expected that RFID system enables a smooth railway signal control applying in railway system through the cyclic loop antenna.
