The purpose of Overall Railroad Safety Audit(ORSA) is to prevent railroad accidents, and, every two years, to inspect and evaluate whether or not railroad operators faithfully adhere to railroad safety guidelines in accordance with the Railroad Safety Law. However despite of the many contributions of ORSA, due to lots of railroad accidents such as train failures and derailment caused track irregularity this year, it has been recently considered that ORSA will be renewed into Safety Certificates System as a complement. In order to guarantee railroad safety, new Safety Certificates must included appropriate safety standards considering current our country's railroad conditions. Therefore, in this study we're going to compare safety components of foreign audit system with those of Airlines field, based on ORSA's contents for years, to review Safety Management System and Safety Culture, as a result, we'd like to suggest to updated Railway Safety Standards.

Sataphylococcus aureus의 퀴놀론계 약물에 대한 내성 기착을 이해하고자 ofloxacin에 내성을 보이는 임상 채취 8 균주의 Sataphylococcus aureus (ORSA)에 대하여 MIC 검사, gyrA 유전자 부근의 Southern 분석 및 아미노산 26번에서 121번까지를 포함하는 290bp의 gyrA 유전자 일부(gyrA-290)의 염기 서열 분석을 행하였다. ORSA 들은 퀴놀론계 약물에 대하여 높은 수준의내성을 보였으며(8-250 배의 MIC 증가), ${\beta}-lactam$계 약물에 대하여도 상당한 수준의 내성(2-32배의 MIC 증가)을 보였다. 하지만 ORSA 들은 vancomycin에 관한 감수성의 변화를 보이지는 않았다. ORSA에 대하여 Southern 분석을 실시한 결과, HindIII, PstI 및 AluI의 경우에는 gyrA 유전자 부근에서 RFLP가 발견되었다. GyrA 유전자를 더 분석하고자 gryA-290 부분을 중합효소 연쇄반응(PCR)으로 증폭하여 pTZ 벡터에 클론하였다. gryA-290의 염기 서열을 분석한 결과, 8 ORSA 균주 모두에 관하여 점 돌연변이의 결과로 Ser-84이 Leu-84으로 치환됨이 밝혀졌다. 이로서 gyrA 유전자의 84번째 아미노산의 치환이 Staphylococcus aureus의 퀴놀론 내성 발현의 중요한 기작 중 하나일 가능성이 있다고 생각된다.

Purpose : This study was performed to provide an anatomical information of the mandibular ramus for the successful inferior alveolar nerve block. Three dimensional images were reconstructed from the computerized tomography (CT) and the anatomical evaluation of the mandibular ramus was done. Materials and methods : Sixty-four patients who had been taken the facial CT scans from 2000, Jan to 2003, June was selected. The patients who had the anterior or posterior teeth misssing, edentulous ridge, and jaw fracture were excepted. In the occulusal plane, the lingual surface angle (LSA) between the mid-sagittal plane and the mandibular molar lingual surface from the 2nd premolar to the 2nd molar, the inner ramal surface angle (IRSA), the maximum inner ramal surface angle (MxIRSA), and the outer ramal surface angle (ORSA) to the-mid sagittal plane were measured. The inner ramal surface angle in the ligular tip level (IRSA-L) and the outer ramal surface angle in the ligular tip level (ORSA-L), the ramal length (RL), and the anterior ramal length (ARL) were also measured in the lingular tip level. Results : In the lingular tip level, the mean IRSA-L and ORSA-L were $28.6{\pm}6.3^{\circ}$ and $17.9{\pm}4.9^{\circ}$ respectively. The larger was the IRSA, the larger was the ORSA. In the lingular tip level, the mean ramal length was 35.8${\pm}$3.4 mm. The larger was the IRSA-L, the shorter was the ramal length. On the lingular tip level, the mean anterior ramal length from anterior ramus to lingular tip was 19.6${\pm}$3.3 mm. when the ramal length was longer, the anterior ramal length was also longer. On the lingular tip level, there was positive correlation vetween the IRSA and the ORSA, negative correlation between the IRSA and the ramal length, and positive correlation between the ramal length and the lingular tip level to the anterior ramus. There was no statistical meaning of data between sex and age. Conclusion : In the clinical view of the results so far achieved, if the direction of needle is closer to posterior it is able to contact bone on lingular tip when the internal surface of ramus is wided outer.

This paper proposes an efficient matching algorithm based on ASIFT (Affine Scale-Invariant Feature Transform) which is fully invariant to affine transformation. In our approach, we proposed a method of reducing similar measure matching cost and the number of outliers. First, we combined the Manhattan and Chessboard metrics replacing the Euclidean metric by a linear combination for measuring the similarity of keypoints. These two metrics are simple but really efficient. Using our method the computation time for matching step was saved and also the number of correct matches was increased. By applying an Optimized Random Sampling Algorithm (ORSA), we can remove most of the outlier matches to make the result meaningful. This method was experimented on various combinations of affine transform. The experimental result shows that our method is superior to SIFT and ASIFT.

We show that the characteristic function $1S_{\underline{\alpha}}$ of any Harder-Narasimhan strata $S{\underline{\alpha}}\;{\subset}\;Coh_X^{\alpha}$ belongs to the spherical Hall algebra $H_X^{sph}$ of a smooth projective curve X (defined over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$). We prove a similar result in the geometric setting: the intersection cohomology complex IC(${\underline{S}_{\underline{\alpha}}$) of any Harder-Narasimhan strata ${\underline{S}}{\underline{\alpha}}\;{\subset}\;{\underline{Coh}}_X^{\underline{\alpha}}$ belongs to the category $Q_X$ of spherical Eisenstein sheaves of X. We show by a simple example how a complete description of all spherical Eisenstein sheaves would necessarily involve the Brill-Noether stratas of ${\underline{Coh}}_X^{\underline{\alpha}}$.
