Per discuteretrattare la problematica concernente un significato intimamente legato a Istria(ora è ilsuolo sloveno ) e a Trieste(ora è il suolo italinao) - quello di ≪frontiera≫, assieme alla ≪cultura e letteratura di frontiera≫ - si dovrebbe fare un'incursione nella storia. In un'altra relazione, analizzando il particolare inserimento di queste città adriatiche nella dinamica fluttuante del rapporto fra centro e provincia nello spazio mitteleuropeo, abbiamo accennato al fatto che, alla fine della prima guerra mondiale, Trieste diventa un centro periferico, situato all'estremo confine orientale d'Italia, in altre parole, una vera e propria ≪città di frontiera≫. E Istria è uno stato dell'Europa centrale confinante ad ovest con l'Italia, percui In Slovenia c'è una comunità autoctona italiana nella parte istriana. Vera "città invisibil" nella topografia del Novecento, Trieste ed Istria ebbero in sorte, negli anni che precedettero la Grande Guerra e la sua (per certi aspetti esizale) annessione all'Italia, un manipolo invidiabile di cantori. Il mito storiografico di una " letteratura triestina" sembrano dovuti, fatte salve le necessarie e risapute considerazioni cronlogiche e ambientali, a una straordinaria intuizione collettva. Più sospettiamo in loro la lucida consapevoleza dell'enorme potenzialità spirituale che scaturisce dalle condizioni materiali: dal determinato assetto di un paesaggio umano, razzi, momenti, e mile compresi. È stato forse proprio Pietro Antonio Gambini a spiegare meglio di chiunque altro questa originalissima configurazione dell'intelligenza e della fantasia in quella Rosa rossa. Il saggio esamina il rapporto di Antonio Gambini con la 'letteratura treistina' e con la movimentata attività letteraria di ≪Solaria≫. Si focalizza l'attenzione con il primo romanzo di Gambini La rosa rossa che rappresenta un omaggio al mondo istriano della sua adolescenza alla base della l'assimilazione di un ambiente cosmopolita a una parlata e a una cultura, nella fattispecie la parlata veneta dei commerci e la cultura.

Objective: In this retrospective study, we analyzed factors influencing the ongoing pregnancy rate (PR) in women with repeated implantation failure (RIF) undergoing embryo transfer with endometrial receptivity array (ERA). Methods: Eighty-three consecutive personalized embryo transfers (pETs) with ERA, from 54 women with RIF, were selected from June 2020 to April 2022. Vitrified blastocyst transfer was timed based on ERA results. Results: The ongoing PR per pET was 33.7%. Using ERA, the endometrium was identified as pre-receptive in 26 cycles, early receptive in 25 cycles, receptive in 31 cycles, and late receptive in one cycle. With cycles categorized into three receptivity phases (pre-receptive, early receptive, or receptive), no significant differences were found in the clinical PR (27.3%, 55.6%, and 40%, respectively) or ongoing PR (9.1%, 55.6%, and 40%, respectively) after a single blastocyst transfer. Similarly, no significant differences were observed in the clinical PR or ongoing PR after the transfer of two or more blastocysts. Among women with ongoing pregnancy relative to those without, age at first pET was significantly lower (35 years vs. 39 years, p=0.001), while blastocyst score (23 vs. 18, p=0.012) and the proportion of blastocyst scores >18 (71.4% vs. 38.9%, p=0.005) were significantly higher. In multiple logistic regression analysis, the woman's age (odds ratio [OR], 0.814; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.706 to 0.940; p=0.005) and blastocyst score >18 (OR, 3.052; 95% CI, 1.075 to 8.665; p=0.036) were identified as significant factors influencing ongoing pregnancy. Conclusion: In pET with ERA, ongoing pregnancy was closely associated with woman's age and blastocyst quality.

The maximum current density that can be achieved in bipolar membrane electrodialysis is limited by the sharp increase in resistance that is experienced when the water content at the membrane interface is not adequately replenished and the membranes dry out. In this paper we show how the water content near the interface depends on the properties of the membranes. A water retaining parameter is introduced, which characterizes the thermodynamic properties of the membrane material and may be used to guide the choice of polymers for mitigation of the dry-out problem.

최근의 microarray 기술의 발달로 인해 점점 더 많은 양의 mRNA 발현 데이터가 쌓여 가고 있다. 이제는 데이터를 만드는 단계보다는 데이터로부터 중요한 생물학적 의미를 끌어내는 것이 더욱 중요한 일이 되었다. micorarray 기술이 처음 도입된 이후로, 많은 앨고리즘과 소프트웨어가 개발되어, 실험자들이 microarray 데이터로부터 생물학적 의미를 끌어내는 작업을 도와주어 왔다. 그런데, 이전의 데이터 마이닝 방법들은 거의 예외 없이 전체 데이터로부터 선택된 몇 십, 몇 백 개의 유전자 리스트로부터 출발한다. 그런데, 이러한 방법 (over-representation analysis, ORA로 줄임)은 몇 가지 한계를 가지고 있어서, 최근에는 전체 데이터로부터 의미 있는 유전자 세트 (gene set)를 찾아내는 방법들이 도입되었다. 본 세미나는 이런 방법들, 줄여서 gene set analysis라 함, 에 사용되는 앨고리즘들과 소프트웨어들을 비교, 검토하고자 한다.

The globalization through sport has its own positive point, because its speed can proceed faster than the other area. For twenty-five years long Soccer has influenced people all of the world not only as a role of the most enjoyable sport, but also as a role of the most important position in politics, economics and social fields. Moreover, soccer has comprised transcendentally within region, race and nation which has made a big market share in leisure industry. By completing this research, the Sport Exhibition should be defined innovatively as a place that enables people actively to develop their creativity. Some of overseas sport exhibitions were selected as a sample in this study, such as The National Football Museum in England, Cornilon Nord Saint Denis in France and Sir Matt Busby Way Old Trafford Manchestrer Ml6 ORA in England, which produced an experience based exhibition. Here this study is purposed to establish, efficiently, the history of korean soccer and FIFA Worldcup as a part of construction for 2002 FIFA Worldcup exhibition and to define its conceptional characteristics composition of planning and schematic design than to play a role as basic study of architectural space.

Author has made the studies on the pH of pus in the 53 suppurative disesed patients who had admitted to department of ora surgery, Infirmary of Schoo of Dentistry, Seoul National University. The results were obtained as follows; 1. The average pH of pus in the patients with suppurative oral diseases was 6.46 and the pH of pus was ranging 5.0 to 7.2. 2. The pH value of pus was not significant between the males(pH: 6.58) and females (pH: 6.40). 3. The pH vaule of pus in patients treated by antibiotics trend to slightly alkaline than that of untreated patients. 4.The pH vaule of pus in the pericoronitis, periodontal abscess and other localized oral infections were slightly alkaline than buccal abscess and osteomyelitis, and acute suppurative diseases of jaws was more acid than chronic diseases. In general, it was seemed the early stages of inflammation was alkaline, and the later stages was acid.

About 154 weed species composed of 31 annuals, 33 biennials, and 90 perennials belonging to 38 families were identified from golf courses in Dongrae, Joongmoon and Ora country clubs on June and September, 1992. Compositae was the most widely occurring family covering 30 species, followed by 28 species in Graminae, 12 species in Leguminasae and Rosaceae, respectively, and 7 species in Caryopbyllacese etc. The bighest number of weed species occurred in the out of bounds in three golf courses, The dominant weed species based on importance value and frequency were Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides, Poa annua, Cyperus rotundus, Oxalis corniculata, Digitaria sanguinalis and Artemisia prinseps.

In this study, steric height variability in the East Asian Seas (EAS) has been analyzed by using ocean reanalysis intercomparison project (ORA-IP) data. Results show that there are significant correlations between ocean reanalysis and satellite data except the phase of annual cycle and interannual signals of the Yellow Sea. Reanalysis ensemble derived from 15-different assimilation systems depicts higher correlation (0.706) than objective analysis ensemble (0.296) in the EAS. This correlation coefficient is also much higher than that of the global ocean (0.441). For the long-term variability of the thermosteric sea level during 1993-2010, a significant warming trend is found in the East/Japan Sea, while cooling trend is shown around the Kuroshio extension area. For the halosteric sea level, a dominant freshening trend is found in the EAS. However, below 300 m depth around this area, the signal-to-noise ratio of the linear trend is generally less than one, which is related to the low density of observation data.
