User Perception about O2O Order·Delivery App Using Topic Modeling and Revised IPA (토픽 모델링과 수정된 IPA를 활용한 O2O 주문·배달 앱에 대한 사용자 인식 연구)

  • Due to the spread of COVID-19, the use of O2O order·delivery applications are becoming very common. Unlike the past, where customers could choose the desired transaction method and channel, these days, where customers' choices are very limited, it is urgent to consider the concept of shadow labor which has been hindered by the convenience and the benefits of order·delivery app. To this end, in this study, the service quality factors perceived by users of O2O order·delivery app and their shadow work attributes were identified, and priorities according to their relative importance and satisfaction level were suggested. In order to fulfill research objectives, first, after collecting user reviews for an O2O order·delivery app, the subject words were derived using topic modeling. Research variables were selected by linking 11 keywords with the concepts of previous studies on service quality of mobile apps and those about shadow labor. Eight variables of usefulness, ease of use, stability, design quality, personalization, responsiveness, update, and presence were selected. Based on 32 measurement items from the variables, a revised IPA was conducted, and finally, 'keep', 'concentrate', 'low priority', or 'overkill' service quality factors are revealed.

A Case Study on Freshcode for the Food Online Platform Business: A Focus on the Lean Start-Up (푸드 온라인 플랫폼 비즈니스 프레시코드 사례: 린 스타트업 방식을 중심으로)

  • Food delivery service combined with IT technology and HMR (Home Meal Replacement) are rapidly growing due to the COVID-19. Recently, the demand for salads along with HMR has increased among office workers in their 20s and 30s who are interested in health and beauty. Freshcode is a food startup with 6 years of experience that started selling salad products through O2O service. Freshcode applied for a patent for a service that collects orders from nearby areas and delivers them on the same day to a designated delivery address 'FCOSPOT' to save shipping costs. In March 2021, in recognition of the growth potential of the regular delivery service, Freshcode received an investment of 6 billion won in Series A. This study may have practical implications to early-stage startups and scale-up stage startups through a longitudinal case study on the growth of a single company. As for the research method, the lean startup methodology and lean canvas were used in the early stage of startup. In particular, the process of the build-measure and learn feedback-loop, which is the core of lean startup methodology, was applied to each major decision-making step. In the scale-up stage after 5 years, the business model canvas was used to schematize the growth as a food online O2O platform to verify continuous innovation. This case study has three main findings. First, the idea of 'FCOSPOT' was successfully implemented through the Lean Startup methodology. Second, Freshcode demonstrated the scalability of the differentiated business model of shared base delivery O2O. Third, a key factor of success was the digital integrated communication operation strategy that maximizes the experience for the created customers.

  • 스마트폰의 확산과 함께 소비자들의 소비 환경과 행태가 변화하면서 기업은 온라인과 오프라인을 연계하는 O2O 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 기존의 O2O 서비스는 제품 정보를 기반으로 온라인 쇼핑을 제공하고 있으나 온 오프라인 매장 간의 연동에 한계가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 온라인 쇼핑몰, 오프라인 매장을 통합하여 상품에 대한 정보 제공과 제품 판매 서비스를 제공하기 위해 스마트 피팅 시스템을 활용한 O2O 연계시스템을 제안한다.

Offline-to-Online Service and Big Data Analysis for End-to-end Freight Management System

  • Freight management systems require a new business model for rapid decision making to improve their business processes by dynamically analyzing the previous experience data. Moreover, the amount of data generated by daily business activities to be analyzed for making better decisions is enormous. Online-to-offline or offline-to-online (O2O) is an electronic commerce (e-commerce) model used to combine the online and physical services. Data analysis is usually performed offline. In the present paper, to extend its benefits to online and to efficiently apply the big data analysis to the freight management system, we suggested a system architecture based on O2O services. We analyzed and extracted the useful knowledge from the real-time freight data for the period 2014-2017 aiming at further business development. The proposed system was deemed useful for truck management companies as it allowed dynamically obtaining the big data analysis results based on O2O services, which were used to optimize logistic freight, improve customer services, predict customer expectation, reduce costs and overhead by improving profit margins, and perform load balancing.

  • One of the most important things is Hand-0ff(H/O) in mobile phone service. Meantime soft H/O and softer H/O have been used between the same generations(2G$\longleftrightarrow$2G) and there is little problem. With user's needs and the development of communication technology, the system with different generation coexists and pilot beacon and time-periodic beacon are used for H/O between generations(2.5G$\longleftrightarrow$G) to start service, but it is not economic and efficient. To improve such problems, ENHHO developed in April 2001 has recently used. Unfortunately, this method also has the defect of momentary cutoff of communication information during the procedure of H/O in case of mote than 5 pilot signals. Accordingly, we suggest algorithm to improve the problem of ENHHO and examines its propriety by analyzing the results of field survey using the algorithm.

  • This study is focused on the image benefit cost criterion value and the pure image benefit figure of the local food service industries, V, T, and O based on the theory and factor-analyses of food service industry. To accomplish the aim of this study, theoretical and positive research methods have been applied. The steps of food service image decision projects for the activating of identification on food service have been examined through theories and positive analyses. As the results, 'the image of menu service' appears to be the most effectual factor on the pure image benefit score, which is the priority order of the project planning for the food service image marketing of Jeonju area. As for the image benefit cost criterion value, 'the image of managemental service system', 'the image of approachability', and 'the service of internal surroundings' have been proved to be the most effectual factor in V, T, O respectively. On the other hand, this study shows that V manages its image of food service most effectually with 1.7 billion won, T with 96 million won, O with 7.2 million won for the image marketing strategy.

  • A study was conducted to determine the susceptibility of swine to Korean foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV; subtype O, isolated from Chungju province) in April, 2ooo. One holstein cow was inoculated intradermolingually with suspension of homogenized tissue from a Korean native cow naturally infected with Korean FMDY. Infected cow was housed with one susceptible cow and one susceptible pig (contact sentinels). Four additional susceptible pigs were housed in the same room but caged separately (non-contacted sentinels). The contacted pig and cow as well as non-contact pigs developed typical clinical signs after 2, 3, and 7 days post exposure, respectively. We compared neutralizing antibody from the animals to FMDV $O_1$ Lombardy, O Taiwan, $O_1$ Campos, and $O_1$ Manisa after 0, 4, 7, 10, 14, 21, 28 days post challenge and post-exposure. The highest viral neutralization titer could be interpreted that serotype O Korea (Chungju isolate) is antigenically more related to $O_1$ Manisa. In addition, immunohistochemistry was used to further characterize Korean FMDV from tissues of infected pigs. Korean FMDV antigen was observed in the tongue, hoof, esophagus, and tonsil tissues of sentinel pigs. These findings suggest that Korean FMD virus isolated from cattle can be rapidly transmitted to pigs both directly and indirectly contrast field observation in which only cattle were clinically ill.

  • The reason for permanent shrinking of recycled castable refractories from alumino-silicate waste refractories was investigated and the method to control shrinking is suggested in order to increase maximum service termperature. The porosity of castable refractories with waste material as large aggregate decreases after heat treatment because the porosity of waste refractories is greater than the of green material, in which CaO around large aggregate penetrates into aggregate and promotes liquid phase sintering. The shrinking of recycled castable refractories resulted in the decrease in porosity can be controled by addition of green kaolin chamotte as large aggregate. The shrinking of recycled castable refractories caused by the differences in densities of mineral phases before and after heat treatment can be controled by addition of kyanite. The use of green kaolin chamotte and kyanite increases the service temperature of recycled castable refractories up to 1500$^{\circ}C$.

  • Many fundamental studies have been carried out regarding waste water and hazardous gas treatments technologies using the photolysis effect of $TiO_2$. However, a permanent use of $TiO_2$ particles immobilized using organic or organic-inorganic binders is impossible. In this study, Ni-$TiO_2$ composite coating was produced by electroless plating to trap $TiO_2$ particles in the Ni coating layer. The electroless plating was performed in the bath solutions with three different concentrations of $TiO_2$ particles : 10 g/l, 20 g/l, and 40 g/l. The surface and photolytic characteristics of the coating layer was investigated by the use of SEM, a scratch tester, and an UV-Visible spectrophotometer. The results showed that the amounts of immobilized $TiO_2$ particles and the photolytic rate of the coating increased with the initial content of $TiO_2$ particles in the electroless bath. In addition, the photolytic rate of the Ni-$TiO_2$ composite coating was remarkably promoted by etching process in 10% HCl solution.

The Impact of Service Quality Signals on the Success of Online Food Delivery Services on O2O Platforms (O2O 플랫폼 내 서비스 품질 신호가 온라인 음식 배달 서비스 성공에 미치는 영향)

  • With the growing demand for online food delivery (OFD) services via Online to Offline (O2O) platforms, it is required for academic researchers to identify the success factors of OFD businesses. In line with this, this research examines the impact of the core service attributes of a restaurant (hygiene, interactivity, trust,and popularity) on business success in the OFD platform context from the perspective of information asymmetry. Furthermore, the moderating effects of hygiene factor between the core service attributes and the success of restaurants are evaluated. We utilize 1,146 restaurants registered on the largest OFD platform in Korea. The results of this study demonstrate that hygiene (certification), trust (franchise), popularity (favorite) factors have positive impacts on the success of OFD businesses. Moreover, we find that franchise restaurants with high response rates to customer reviews and inquiries achieve higher sales when they have hygiene certifications than those without the certification do. The key findings bear significant contributions to prior literature by empirically substantiating the pivotal role of service quality signals in fostering restaurant success on the OFD platforms. In addition, this study provides business implications for restaurants in O2O platform.
