Properties of Au Clusters Supported on $TiO_2$ Studied by XPS, ISS, AES, and TPD (XPS, ISS, AES, TPD를 이용한 $TiO_2$ 위에 지지된 Au 클러스터의 특성 연구)

  • Au was dosed on $TiO_2(001)$ film grown epitaxially on Mo(100) surface in about 90 ${\AA}$ thickness. The growth mode of Au, thermal behavior and stability of the Au clusters, and the binding energy shift of Au 4f with the change in the amount of Au loading were studied by Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD) spectroscopy, Ion Scattering Spectroscopy (ISS), and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). Au grows three dimensionally on $TiO_2(001)$ film and the average size of Au clusters prepared at low temperature is smaller than those at higher temperature and the size increases with temperature irreversibly. Au clusters on $TiO_2(001)/Mo(100)$ start evaporation at 1000 K. TPD spectra of Au show very asymmetric peaks with the same leading edges irrespective of the amount of Au loading. The temperature at the peak maximum increases with the amount of Au. The desorption energy of Au obtained from the leading edge analysis of the TPD spectra is about 50 kcal/mol. The initial sticking coefficient of Au on $TiO_2(001)$ is constant in the temperature range of 200-600 K. The binding energy of Au 4f for the Au loaded on the film less than 2.0 MLE shifts to higher energy compared with the bulk Au. The shift is +0.3 eV at 0.1 MLE Au amount.

  • Im Allgemeinen auch psychische Patienten k$\ddot{o}$nnen sich daruber selbst entscheiden, $\ddot{a}$rztliche Behandlung zu nehmen und ins Krankenhaus aufgenommen zu werden. Im S$\ddot{u}$dkorea bei der zwangsweisen Unterbringung wird kein KBGB des privatlichen Rechts, sondern Gesetz $\ddot{u}$ber psychisch Gesundheitspflege des $\ddot{o}$ffentlichen Rechts vorz$\ddot{u}$glich verwandt. Aber das noch kann ein selbst Bestimmungsrecht von der psychischen Patient verletzen. Im Deutschland regelt BGB $\S$ 1906 Zwangsunterbringung der psychische Patienten, die Gef$\ddot{a}$hr des Selbstmord oder der Eigengef$\ddot{a}$hrdung haben. Au$\ss$erdemhat jedes Land eigen Gesetz $\ddot{u}$ber psychischen Kranken, das $\ddot{o}$ffentliche Vorschrift f$\ddot{u}$r Zwangsunterbringung regelt. Im Fall der Zwangsunterbringung im Deutschland BGB $\S$ 1906 wird prim$\ddot{a}$rer als $\ddot{o}$ffentlich Rechts verwandt, um die Selbstbestimmungsrecht der Patienten zu unterstutzen. Auch im Korea KBGB (koreanisches B$\ddot{u}$rgerliches Gesetzbuch) Ver$\ddot{a}$nderungen f$\ddot{u}$r die Einf$\ddot{u}$hrung des Betreuungsrechts, die sich mit der Zwangsunterbringung befassen, sollten diskutiert werden, damit die Selbstbestimmung sch$\ddot{a}$tzen.

  • We have grown D $y_{x}$B $i_{3-x}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$ (x = 0.5,1.0, 1.5,2.0) magnetic garnet thin films upon $Al_2$O3i and GGG substrate using Pechini process. The annealing temperature to get single phase D $y_{x}$B $i_{3-x}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$ garnet is dependent on substrate, i.e. the annealing temperature for GGG substrate il 5$0^{\circ}C$ lower than that for $Al_2$ $O_3$ substrate. The grains of garnet thin film grown on GGG (111) plane align along [111] direction, and in this case the hysteresis curve does not saturate up to H : 5000 Oe. We attribute this phenomenon to rotation magnetization process. The maximum amount of Bi substitution in polycrystalline D $y_{x}$B $i_{3-x}$F $e_{5}$ $O_{12}$ thin film prepared by Pechini process is restricted to 2.0 Bi atom/unit cell, and this value is less than that in single garnet crystall grown by LPE method.own by LPE method.ethod.

Catalytic Activity of Ga(Ⅲ)-, In(Ⅲ)- and Tl(Ⅲ)-porphyrin Complexes (Ga(Ⅲ), In(Ⅲ) 및 Tl(Ⅲ) 금속이온을 포함한 Metalloporphyrin 착물의 촉매적 특성)

  • The catalytic oxidations of several olefins in $CH_2Cl_2$ have been investigated using non-redox metalloporphyrin (M=Ga(III), In(III), Tl(III)) complexes as catalyst and sodium hypochlorite as terminal oxidant. Porphyrins were $(p-CH_3O)TPP,\;(p-CH_3)TPP,\;TPP,\;(p-F)TPP,\;(p-Cl)TPP\;and\;(F_20)TPP$ (TPP=tetraphenylporphyrin), and olefins were $(p-CH_3O)-,\;(p-CH_3)-,\;(p-H)-,\;(p-F)-,\;(p-Cl)-\;and\;(p-Br)styrene$styrene and cyclopentene and cyclohexene. The substrate conversion yield was discussed according to the substituent effects of metalloporphyrin and substrate, and the radius effect of non-redox metal ion. The conversion yield of substrate by changing the substituent of TPP increased in the order of $p-CH_3O$ < $p-CH_3$ < H < p-F < p-Cl, which was consistent with the sequence of $4{\sigma}$ values of TPP. But the substituent effect of substrate on the conversion yield decreased with increasing the ${\sigma}^+$ values on substrates in the order of p-CH3O > p-CH3 > H > p-Cl > p-Br. For the oxidation of several olefins, the complexes of In(III)- and Tl(III)-porphyrins turned out to be more active catalysts than Ga(III)-porphyrin.

  • Spectroscopic diagnostics on reactive plasmas was carried out in a facing target sputtering unit with BaO +12Fe composite targets and 50% $O_2+$ Ar sputter gas. Spectra of rective plasmas were composed of peaks which were assigned to be Ba, B$a^+$, Fe, FeO, F$e^+$, Ar, $Ar^+$, O, $O^+$. As detecting positions in plasmas were far away from targets, the relative peak intensities of the ions and neutral species were decreased, but the relative intensities of the former decreased faster than those of the latter.

Power Loss and Electro-Magnetic Characteristics of Ni-Cu-Zn Ferrites (Ni-Cu-Zn페라이트의 손실과 자성 특성)

  • The power loss analysis was carried out for Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite samples with different content of NiO and ZnO. The power loss, Pcv decreases monotonically wi increasing temperature and attains to a certain value at around $100\~120$ degrees Celsius. The frequency dependence of Pcv can be explained by $Pcv\~f^n$', and n is independent of the frequency, f up to 1MHz. The Pcv decreases with an increase in ZnO/NiO. The Pcv was separated to hysteresis loss, Ph and residual loss, (Pcv-Ph). The temperature characteristics and compositional dependence of Pcv can be attributed to the Ph, while (Pcv-Ph) is not affected by both temperature and ZnO/NiO. By analyzing temperature and composition dependence of Ph and initial permeability, ${\mu}^i$ following equations could be formularized. $${\mu}_i{\mu}o=I_x\;^2/(K_1+bs_ol_s)\;\;\;\;(1)$$ $Wh=13.5(I_s\;^2/{\mu}_i{\mu}_o)\;\;\;\;(2)$$ Were ${\mu}_o$ is permeability of vacuum, $I_s$ saturation magnetization, $K_1$ anisotropy constant, $S_o$ internal heterogeneous stress, $I_s$, magnetostriction constant, b unknown constant. Wh hysteresis loss per one cycle of excitation (Ph: Wh*f). Steinmetz constant of Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites, $m=1.64\~2.2$ is smaller than the one of Mn-Zn ferrites, which suggests the difference of loss mechanism between these materials.

Supercapacitive Properties of Carbon-Nano Fiber/MnO2 Composite Electrode (나노탄소섬유/MnO2 복합전극의 초고용량 캐폐시터 특성)

  • In order to improve the specific capacitance of amorphous hydrous manganese oxide ($MnO_2$) for supercapacitors, it is made into composites with vapour-grown carbon nanofibers (VGCF) having the VGCF ratio as 40 wt% in the composites. The electrochemical properties of these composites are investigated in 1.0 M $Na_2SO_4$ by cyclic voltammetry (CV), impedance measurements and chronopotentiometric charger/discharger. The composite with 40 wt% VGCF shows the superior electrochemical performance, whose specific capacitance (based on the mass of $MnO_2$, $0.8mg/cm^2$) is 380 F/g at 20 mV/s and 230 F/g at 500 mV/s. Also, the cycle-life testing of this electrode carried out for 3,000 charge/discharge cycles at $2.0mA/cm^2$ shows 97% capacitance retention.

  • The dilution and the shore attachment of buoyant effluent into a crossflow are investigated experimentally. The effluent is produced by discharging warm water through a side channel into an open channel crossflow with the same depth to the side channel flow. Buoyancy causes the effluent to lift off the bottom, spreads across the crossflow and stays as the surface layer. The geometry of the recirculating region and the dilution of the effluent depend mainly on the buoyancy. The condition of the shore attachment can be specified by the ratios of velocities and Froude numbers.

  • 본 논문에서는 액체로켓엔진에서 터보펌프의 160kW급 터빈을 구동하고, 액체산소와 케로신을 추진제로 사용하는 가스발생기의 설계점 연소성능시험 결과에 대해 논의하였다. 충돌형 F-O-F 인젝터, 물냉각 채널을 가진 연소실, torch ignitor, turbulence ring 그리고 측정 링을 갖는 가스발생기에 대해 기술하였고, 점화, 연소, 종료 등의 시험 cyclogram에 대해 언급하였다. 설계점에서의 연소시험 및 turbulence ring 장착여부, 연소실 길이 변화에 따른 연소시험의 결과들에 대해 기술하였다. 연소시험 결과 가스발생기는 설계점에서 안정된 작동성을 보여주었고, 연소압력 및 온도 등의 성능이 예측치에 근접하는 결과를 보여 주었다. Turbulence ring은 출구에서의 가스온도를 균일하게 분포시켜 효과적인 혼합 장치임을 보여 주었고, 4-6msec 정도에서의 잔류시간에서는 연소효율의 차이가 크지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 가스발생기 출구에서의 온도는 공급되는 추진제의 O/F ratio에 따라 매우 민감하게 반응함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Tin oxide thin films doped with silicon as anodes for lithium secondary battery were fabricated by R. F. magnetron sputtering technique. The electrochemical results for lithium secondary battery anodes showed that addition of silicon decreases the oxidic state of tin, and, hence, reduced the irreversible capacity during the first discharge/charge cycle. The (110),(101),(211) planes were grown with increasing substrate temperatures. The reversible capacity of thin films fabricated in conditions of $300^{\circ}C$ substrate temperature and 7:3 $Ar:O_2$ ratio was 700 mAh/g.
