간호 대학생의 감성지능이 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Intelligence on the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy and Career Decision Levels of the Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 감성지능이 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고자 실시된 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 대구 경북지역 간호 대학생 3,4학년 223명이며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2015년 10월 19일부터 10월 30일까지 편의표집 하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여, 인구사회학적 특성, 감성지능, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결정수준은 기술통계(빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차)를 실시하고, 측정도구의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값을 구하였다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 감성지능, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결정수준의 차이는 t-test와 ANOVA를 하였고, 사후검정은 Scheffe test를 실시하였다. 또한 주요변인 간의 상관관계는 Pearson's correlation coefficients를 산출하여 분석하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성과 감성지능이 진로결정자기효능감과 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 감성지능과 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로결정수준은 정(+)적 상관성을 보였다. 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향요인은 성별(${\beta}=-.155$), 취업률 동기(${\beta}=-.145$), 감성 활용(${\beta}=.236$), 감성조절(${\beta}=.197$), 타인 감성이해(${\beta}=.157$)가 유의미하였다. 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향요인은 학년(${\beta}=.273$), 취업률 동기(${\beta}=-.145$), 주위의 권유동기(${\beta}=-.138$), 감성조절(${\beta}=.223$)이 유의미하였다. 따라서 간호학과 선택 시 자신의 의지로 선택할 수 있도록 학교나 가정에서 간호사의 역할이나 임무 등에 대하여 충분하게 조언할 필요가 있다. 또한 학사과정에서 정서적 교육 등의 비중을 높이면 감성지능을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

간호윤리 교육이 간호학생의 도덕적 사고와 윤리적 딜레마 상황에서의 의사결정에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Nursing Ethics Education on Moral Reasoning and Ethical Decision Making for Student Nurses)

  • This study was designed to test effects of nursing ethics education (NEE) on moral reasoning and ethical decision making of subjects. This NEE that was teached for 10 hours course was composed of these : Nurses' ethical code, moral responsibility, Moral value and professional accountability, Respect for human life, General ethics, Theory and Norms of biomedical ethics, Ethical decision making model and Discussion about hypothetical ethical dilemmas Twenty-five senior student nurses were sampled from four year college of nursing from Nov. 3rd, 1993 to Nov. 24th, 1993. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires included two kinds of tests. Rest's Defining Issues Test was adopted to measure the stage of moral development, which was classified with the stage 2 (instrumental relativist orientation), the stage 3 (interpersonal concordance), the stage 4 (law and order), the stage 5A (societal consensus), and the stage 5B (intuitional humanism), the stage 6 (universal ethical practice). In particular, the level of principled thinking (P) was measured by summing these scores of the stages 5A, 5B, and 6. The possible range of P is 0 to 95. As for measuring the levels of morality and nursing dilemma, Crisham's Nursing Dilemma Test was adopted. This test generated the morality score(MS) and the dilemma score (DS). The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test, Mc Nemar's test and Pearson correlation coefficients. The results were as follows ; 1. For the Moral Reasoning both before and after NEE, The Mean score of the stage 5A was significantly higher than that of other stages.(P=0.0001) Before NEE, the mean score of the stage 4 was significantly different from stage 2, 3, 5A, and after NEE, different from stage 2, 5B,6. 2. The analysis of change of moral development level revealed that the score of stage 4 increased after NEE.(P=0.0004) 3. The Effect of NEE for the mean score of 5A, 6, P after education was significantly different by birth place. 4. With regard to the five dilemmas postulated such as forcing medication performing cardiac pulmonary resuscitation, reporting a medication error, informing diagnosis to terminally ill adult, and providing new-nurse orientation, the mean score of the MS and the DS was no significant difference with general characteristics of the students. Effect of NEE morality score and dilemma score after education was no significant difference. 5. As for the correlations between moral reasoning and decision making, the score of the stage 2, 5A, 6, DS was positively correlated with the scores of before and after. Positive correlation was also observed between the scores of stage 2 and stage 4, stage 3 and 6. On the other hand, the score of P was negatively correlated with the scores of stage 2 and of stage 4 and of stage 5A. The score of the stage 5A was also negatively correlated with the score of the sge 6.

유료 노인 낮보호 시설 모형개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fee-Based Model Development of Day Care Centers for the Elderly)

  • The aim of this study is the development of a fee - based model day care center for the elderly by inquiring into the current condition of facilities in America and in Korea, and in surveying the opinion of domestic elderly about day care facilities. A field trip to U.S. day care services was held between July 5 and July 15 in 1997, and an on-the-spot study for domestic facilities took place during March in 1998. Our research reveals that the overall supply of day care facilities can not meet future demand in terms of quality and quantity. Therefore a model must be created for day care centers of a that consists of a director from a professional group. an adequate environment, and a standardized in order to offer a qualified public health service linked to the home and community in Korea. The director of a day care center is a critical variable in determining the quality of service. Professional skills related to the needs of the elderly and the person's quality of service should be considered in appointing director for the center. This study belleves that a professional nurse should be the director of a day care center. The operating environment of a day care facility should be made up of considerable space comparable to the number of residents, should be in a comfortable and safe location, and should have equipment that provides a qualified, safe service to the elderly. Our model is designed for 20 persons and allocates 4 Peng per person. This model is comprised of a reading room. a craft room, a health room, a room for physical therapy, a dining room, a staff office, and a multi -purpose room connected to other rooms. Day care service should be a comprehensive service program meeting the multidimensional needs of the elderly. A comprehensive service program needs a team of various professionals made up of the elderly family, participants, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, nutritionists, and medical doctors. The program will also include health care service, physical therapy, speech therapy. diet, occupational therapy, transportation service, health and an education program, etc. In conclusion, a model of a day care center is developed with the following components: a professional director and an environment and program, that considers the physical, mental, and social characteristics of the elderly. A model should also motivate self-reliance self-fulfillment in the elderly in order to fulfill their health needs and to prevent isolation from society and mental depression. Furthermore, This facility will be a beneficial factor in reducing a family's burden on caring for the elderly that includes unnecessary hospital expenses. The following is a suggestion based on results this study: A service program should be developed to fit the conditions of the elderly in Korea by specifically analyzing the needs of the elderly.

임상간호사의 자기 효능감 및 직무스트레스 대처가 극복력에 미치는 영향 (The effects of self-efficacy and job stress coping on the resilience in clinical nurses)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사의 자기 효능감 및 직무스트레스 대처가 극복력에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 시도되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 전라북도 소재 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사 240명이었으며, 불충분한 자료를 제외하고 총 231부가 자료분석에 이용되었다. 자료수집 기간은 2017년 5월부터 6월까지였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 대상자의 특성, 자기 효능감, 직무스트레스 대처 및 극복력은 빈도, 백분율, 평균 및 표준편차로 분석하였고, 대상자의 특성에 따른 극복력의 차이는 t-test와 ANOVA로 분석하였으며, 사후 검증은 Duncan test로 분석하였다. 임상간호사의 자기 효능감, 직무스트레스 대처, 극복력 간의 상관관계는 Pearsons correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 자기 효능감 및 직무스트레스 대처가 극복력에 미치는 영향은 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과, 자기 효능감 및 직무스트레스 대처는 극복력과 모두 긍정적 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 극복력에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 특히 자기 효능감이 극복력에 미치는 영향이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 향후 간호사의 극복력을 증진시킬 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각한다.

임상간호사의 업무의 복잡성, 비판적 사고 성향 및 직관의 관계 (Relationship of Clinical Nurses' Task Complexity, Critical Thinking Disposition and Intuition)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사의 업무의 복잡성, 비판적 사고 성향, 직관 정도를 파악하고 변수들 간의 관련성을 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 D시에 소재한 병원, 종합병원 간호사 150명이며, 자료수집 기간은 2017년 6월 15일부터 7월 08일까지였다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 24.0을 이용하여 평균, 표준편차, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 업무 복잡성은 $2.33{\pm}.45$, 비판적 사고 성향은 $3.58{\pm}.36$, 직관은 $2.69{\pm}.52$이었다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 업무 복잡성은 연령(F=4.55, p=.012), 교육수준(F=11.61, p=<.001), 부서(F=26.69, p=<.001), 임상경력(F=4.30, p=.006)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 비판적 사고 성향은 교육 수준(F=5.25, p=.006), 직위(F=5.35, p=.006)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 직관은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 업무 복잡성은 비판적 사고 성향(r=.323, p=<.001), 직관(r=.201, p=.013)과 정적 상관관계가 있었으나, 비판적 사고 성향과 직관은 유의한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다((r=.033, p=.685). 본 연구결과를 통해 간호업무가 복잡하다고 인지하는 간호사를 대상으로 비판적 사고 성향과 직관을 높일 수 있는 교육 및 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.

양호겸직교사의 학교보건간호 업무활동에 관한 조사연구 (A Study of School Health Nursing Activity Performed Teachers Holding Additonal school Health)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for the development of school health nursing activities by surveying realities of school health nursing activities in schools lacking in a school nurse performed by teachers holding additional school health. The subjects for the study was selected from teachers holding additional school health who participated in the annual training course for teachers holding additional school health in 1988 organized by Province Education Council. 105 teachers holding additonal school health from Kyung-gi Province, 85 from Chung-buk province, 50 from Chun-buk Province, answered the questionaire. The results can be epitomized as follows. 1. General characteristics of Teachers Holding Additional School Health. The majority of the subjects are female (94.3%) and 64.1% of the subjects are in their twenties, 79.5% of them graduated from four-year teacher's college, 54.5% of them are unmarried, 74.5% has less than one-year experience as a teacher holding additional school health. 2. General characteristics of schools 92.4% of schools are national, of public schools, and 91.9% are located in country, elementary schools are 64%, junior high schools are 35.4%. The annual school nursing budget is unknow to 89.2% of them. The school nursing organization is non- existent to 85.6%. 82.4% of the school nursing clinics occupy their place solely, or jointly. 3. Status of School Health Nursing Activities In the questionaire, School Health Nursing Activities arc divided into Health Program planning and Evaluation (4 items), Clinic Management (4 items), Health Education (4 items), Management of School Environment 98 items), Operating of School Health Organization (1 item) and Health Care Service (25 items). The answers to each item measured by the Likert-type scale reveals that in the activities of techcrs holding additional school health the practice rate in Management of School Environment is 55%, 47% in Health Education, 45% in Health Program Planning and Evaluation, 32% in Health Care Service, 27% in Operating of School Health Organization, and 27% in Clinic Management. 4. The Relation between Influencing variables and School Health Nursing Activities. The results are as follows. (1) Health Program Planning and Evaluation: religion, marital status ($P<0.05^{**}$) (2) Clinic Management: age, school health organization ($P<0.05^{**}$) (3) Health Education: age ($P<0.01^*$), religion ($P<0.05^{**}$), business except for school nursing ($P<0.05^{**}$), form of operation ($P<0.05^{**}$), the number of clinic client a month ($P<0.05^{**}$). (4) Management of School Health Environment: age, marital status, business except for school nursing ($P<0.05^{**}$), presence of the annual school health nursing budget ($P<0.01^*$), school health organization ($P<0.05^{**}$). (5) Operating of School Health Organization: There is a statistical significance in Education, Interest in School Nursing ($P<0.05^{**}$). 5. The Regional Relationship of School Health Nursing Activity. There is a statistically significal difference in Health Education ($P<0.05^{**}$) and Health Care Service ($P<0.01^*$) of elementary school located in Kyung-gi, Chung-buk, Chun-buk Province. There is a statistically significant difference Health Program Planning and Evaluation of junior high Schools located in Kyung-gi, Chung-buk, Province ($P<0.05^{**}$). 6. The Correlation in School Health Nursing Activities. The analysis of the correlation in the 6 fields of school Health Nursng Activities shows that there is a statistically significant difference between Clinic Management and health Education, Clinic Management and Operating of School Health Organization, and between management of School Environment and operating of School Health Organization ($P<0.05^{**}$). The conclusions are as follows The 40.5 percent of schools should arrange nurse teachers by regulation 38, relative to the application of the Law of Education. But, in reality, teachers who have nothing to do with nursing, hold school health as an additional job. And it is very difficult to expect the qualititive health management of school faculty and students. In the 85.6 percent of schools, there is no organization for school health. And also, persons in charge of pracitcal affairs perform the school health activity without any knowledge about annual school health nursing budget. In the school health nursing activity of teacheres holding additional school health, operating of school, health organization and clinic management are the most difficult to get the cooperation from the persons relate to school and communities. There are a lot of problems in performing the school health nursing activity without any disposition of school health teachers, therefore, it is necessary to supplement school health teachers who had a professional training in order to make efficient the school health nursing management for children who are about to attend a school.

초등학생의 흡연지식.흡연태도와 흡연행동에 관한 연구 (The Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior on Smoking in Elementary School Students)

  • I began the study to identify the issues related to knowledge. attitude and behavior regarding smoking by sixth graders. which will ultimately lead to the development of a smoking prevention program that will not only help deter school-age children from smoking, but also make them aware of the more desirable behaviors and techniques for healthier life. The results are as follows: 1. Smoking Behavior: Of the focus group. 4.15% are current smokers and 18.23% are ever smokers. 2. Correlation between smoking knowledge and ever smoking: Ever smoking sample($11.10{\pm}3.66$) is less knowledge able than the never-smoking sample($12.17{\pm}3.95$), (t=3.23. p=.001). 3. Correlation between smoking attitude and ever smoking: Ever smoking sample($28.12{\pm}8.51$) was less desirable than the never-smoking sample($l2.17{\pm}3.95$). (t=8.24, p=.000). 4. Correlation between smoking Knowledge and smoking attitude: knowledge about smoking and attitude toward smoking are quantitatively correlated in such way that the more knowledgeable the child is about smoking. the more desirable the attitude toward smoking is(r=.17. p=.000). 5. Correlation between socio-anthropological characteristics and ever smoking: family . atmosphere($x^2$=16.49. p=.001), school life ($x^2$=l1.58, p= .003), grades in school( $x^2$=11.89. p=.003), gender($x^2$=8.97. p=.003). friends' gathering place($x^2$=13.19. p=.02), marital status of parents(p* =.03). and family's financial status($x^2$=6.71. p=.035). In addition, Correlation between somking-environmental characteristics and ever smoking: number of friends who smoke($x^2$=76.01. p=.001). information source for smoking($x^2$=48.03. p=.001), whether or not siblings smoke($x^2$=26.07, p=.001), whether or not female relatives smoke ( $x^2$= 15.65. p= .001), whether or not father smokes ($x^2$= 12.10. p= .007), errands to buy cigarettes for someone($x^2$=9.18. p=.010), and whether or not male relatives smoke ($x^2$=8.82. p=.35) 6. Results of the logistic analysis performed to identify the factors correlated to ever smoking show that: one point decrease in attitude score translates to 25.39 times' increase in ever smoking one person decrease in the number of friends who smoke translates to 0.66 times' decrease in ever smoking: the group where the father has quit smoking has 1.40 times more ever smoking than the group where the father does not smoke at all: and likewise, the group where the father currently smokes has 1.40 times more ever smoking than the group where the father has quit smoking. 7. The overall cause-and-effect relationship between the ever smoking and the related factors: attitude toward smoking caused ever smoking by -.43, smoking by friends, by .12, marital status of arents, by .05, school life. by .04, gender, by -.03, and smoking by father, by -.02. Knowledge about smoking (t=-1.67) did not cause significant effects on ever smoking.

마르틴 부버의 사상(나와 너)과 간호철학 (The Philosophy of Martin Buber(I and Thou) and Nursing Philosophy)

  • 간호학의 독자적인 지식체계의 구축을 위해서는 먼저 간호 연구가들의 간호철학 정립이 필요하다. 그러한 간호철학 정립을 워해 우선 간호학의 본질과 영역 그리고 간호학의 학문적 특성을 밝히는 것이 필요하다. 이 연구의 목적은 소외의 개념과 소외가 발생되는 상황 및 마르틴 부버의 사상을 이해하는 것이다. 이러한 개념들의 이해는 간호사들이 상호작용과 관계에 대한 문제점을 깨닫게 하여 관계와 상호작용을 향상시키게 된다. 소외는 현대 사회의 중요한 문제로 문화적 소외, 정치적 소외, 경제적 소외 기술과 기계에 의한 소외, 종교적 소외 등이 있다. 소외극복을 위한 간호의 한 방안으로 마르틴 부버의 관계사상에 기초를 둔 참된 만남의 상호관계 및 돌봄이 필요하다. 마르틴 부버 사상의 본질은 "너와 나" 관계이며 너와 나 관계는 5가지 특성이 있다. 1) 상호성 2) 직접성 3) 현재성 4) 강렬성 5) 표현불가능성 의료기술이 발전되고 복잡해짐에 따라 환자상태를 사정하는데 가계에 의존하며, 기계의 성능과 기계의 관리에 촛점이 맞추어지면서 환자와의 의미있는 의사소통은 점점 더 적어지는 결과를 낳게 되었다. 이러한 문제점 해결을 위해 의료진과 환자와의 "너와 나" 관계가 중요한데, 이 관계에는 의료진이 환자에게 성실하게 관심을 가지고 존경심과 온화함으로 대해야함이 포함되어야 한다. 궁극적으로 이 연구가 "나와 너" 관계개념에 대한 이해를 돕고 간호교육의 간호철학 정립을 위한 기초자료가 되기를 바라는 바이다.

정신과 병동 간호사와 일반병동 간호사의 스트레스 반응양상에 대한 비교연구 (Comparative Study on the Stress Response of Nurses Working on Pscychiatric Wards to that of Nurses Working on General Wards)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress response of nurses working on psychiatric wards (psychiatric nurses) compared with that of nurses working on general wards (general nurses) in order to provide assessment data for intervention of the stress response. The Symptoms of Stress Inventory was used to measure the stress response. Data were collected by a direct survey method using a questionnaire and were collected from March first to March 30, 1995. A sample of 200 nurses working in three psychiatric hospitals and psychiatric wards in four university hospitals in Seoul and Kangwon province were selected and 200 nurses working on general wards from two general hospitals in Seoul were also selected for a total sample of 400 nurses. Nurses who had experienced more than one of the major life events in the last two years were excluded from the total number in the samples, so the final sample was 161 psychiatric nurses, and 169 general nurses. The Scores for the total stress response, scores of the SOS subscales, stress response by sociodemographic characteristics of the nurses working on the psychiatric wards were compared with those of nurses working on the general ward. The results of this investigation are as follows 1. The mean total SOS score for the psychiatric nurse was 0.81 (SD=0.48) and that of the general nurses was 0.90(SD=0.53). 2. The Mean score for peripheral manifestation, con tral-neurological symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, muscle tension, habitual patterns, de-pression, anxiety, anger and cognitive disorganization for the general nurses showed a tendency to be higher than those of the psychiatric nurses. Mean score for cardiopulmonary symptoms for the general nurses was significantly higher than that of the psychiatric nurses. 3. The mean scores for the sixteen SOS items for the general nurses was significantly higher than for the psychiatric nurses. The 16 items were flushing of the face, sweating excessively even in cold weather, thumping of the heart, rapid breathing, dry mouth, a choking lump in the throat, hoarseness, muscle tension in hands or arm, muscle tension in leg, working tiring one out completely, severe aches a핀 Pain make it diffi-cult to do the work, severe nervous exhaustion, worrying about health, feeling weak and faint, so upset that one wants to hit something, unable to keep thoughts from running through one's mind. The mean score of only 505 item were significantly higher for the psychiatric nurses. 4. Stress responses between psychiatric nurses and general nurses were significantly different according to the following demographic characteristics : marriage, duration of work, position, accommodation, planning to move into another working site, working ward, education in psychiatric nursing.

차세대 노인의 노후생활 형태 인식에 관한 연구 (Elderly people's understanding level of their life style in next generation)

  • The purpose of this study is to find a solution to effectively nurse elderly people in the aging society of next generation by analyzing relationship among the social problem of elderly people in the future society, their preferred life style, and their understanding level of an asylum for the aged. Data for this study were collected by questioning 316 persons(257 visitors at C University hospital and 59 residents in Chun - Ra Nam Do) from December 1996 to March 1997. The results were as follows: The assumption that an individual's preferred life style at old age depends on his /her understanding level of the social problem of elderly people was verified ($X^2=9.75$, p<0.00). The assumption that one's understanding of an asylum for the aged depends on his /her understanding level of the social problem of elderly people was verified ($X^2=4.40$, p<0.05). The assumption that one's understanding of an asylum for the aged depends on his/her pre-ferred life style at old age was verified($X^2=34.51$, p<0.01). Among those who want to live together with children when they get old, the following differences in their conception were noted: Elderly people who has lost his /her wife /husband should marry again(p<0.01). Children should take care of their parents(p<0.01). Children should live with their parents(p<0.01), A desirable living style for an elderly people. An undesirable living style for an elderly people. Among those who want to live alone when they get old, the following differences were observed: It is okay for children to live separately from their parents as long as they provide financial support(p<0.01). Any child, regardless of the distinction of sex or the order of birth among siblings, can take care of his/her parents(p<0.05), It is desirable for an elderly people to live alone (p<0.01). It was verified that those who view an asylum for the aged in a negative way believe that children should take care of their parents. Also, it was verified that those who view an asylum for the aged in a positive way believe that children should provide financial support to their parents even though they do not live together(p<0.01). Regardless of the subjects' opinions on seriousness of the social problem of elderly people, the assumption that any child, regardless of the distinction of sex or the order of birth among siblings, can take care of his/her parents was verified(p<0.01) (p<0.05). Regardless of the subjects' view on asylum for the aged, the assumption that it is undesirable place for an elderly people to live was verified (p<0.01). The assumption that one's understanding of an asylum for the aged depends on the distinction of sex among general characteristics such as sex, age, educational background, occupation, and religion was verified(t=-2.82, p<0.01). The assumption that an individual's preferred life style at old age depends on the distinction of sex among general characteristics such as sex, age, educational background, occupation, and religion was verified(t=l.68, p<0.l).
