지자체 도로이동오염원 배출량 산정 방안 (A Methodology for Estimation of Vehicle emissions in a Metropolitan Area)

  • 지자체 단위의 도로이동오염원 배출량을 보다 현실적으로 산정하기 위하여 배출량 산정 시 기초자료인 차량 등록대수를 보정하는 방안을 검토하였다. 국가교통DB를 이용하여 수도권 지역의 특정 차종(RV, 승합차, 버스, 화물차)에 대한 차량 등록대수를 보정한 결과, 지역별로는 서울의 오차율이 가장 크고 차종별로는 버스와 화물차의 오차율이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 배출량 산정에 영향을 미치는 기존 등록대수와 보정 등록대수 편차의 절대값은 수도권 지자체 모두 화물차가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 배출량 산정 결과, 기존 등록대수 기반의 배출량과 보정 등록대수 기반의 배출량의 차이는 약 9%로 나타났으며, 수도권 지자체 중에서는 인천의 배출량 오차율이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다.

  • The Korean Auto industry has developed remarkably over the past 30 years. In 2000 alone, Korea produced 3.11 million vehicles, and the number of vehicles registered surpassed the ten million mark. As the number of vehicles registered in Korea has increased, yew after you, a rising number of cars have been scrapped. In 2000, a total of 455,592 automobiles were scrapped, up dramatically from only 101,158 in 1989. The system for handling of ELV(End-of-Life Vehicles) in Korea is governed by the "Motor Vehicle Control Act". The Act places the responsibility for vehicle scrapping directly on the vehicle owners. h vehicle owner can only can eel a vehicle registration after he gets a certificate from an authorized vehicle dismantler showing that his vehicle was properly scrapped according to the law. The take-back rate of ELV reaches nearly 100% in Korea. The vehicle scrapping process in Korea is very similar to those in other countries. fluids such as fuels and oils are first removed, and recyclable parts are collected and separated. Engines and transmissions are dismantled and recycled for use as raw material. Plastics, which are not easily reused, are generally treated as industrial wastes. The "Motor Vehicle Control Act" prohibits reuse of certain parts in order to guarantee the safety of the used auto parts. However, some restrictions on the reuse of auto parts have recently been eased to promote recycling. In this paper, additionally, car recycling policy of the foreign countries such as Japan, Germany and EU were reviewed.

서울시 미세먼지 농도의 지역적 특성파악을 위한 연구 - 구별 분포 특성 및 차량등록대수와의 관계 - (Understanding on Regional Characteristics of Particular Matter in Seoul - Distribution of Concentration in Borough Spatial Area and Relation with the Number of Registered Vehicles -)

  • Average concentration of PM in Seoul metropolitan area satisfied the Korean air quality standard in 2010. Furthermore, concentration of PM in all boroughs across Seoul met the air environment standard in 2012. $PM_{10}$ concentration was relatively higher in center of Seoul in comparison to the rest, while $PM_{2.5}$ concentration showed exactly the contrary result. We analyzed the effect that PM emissions from vehicles would have on PM concentrations across Seoul. The results showed that average annual PM concentration recently decreased in Seoul although the number of vehicles registered annually continued its upward trend. By contrast, average fine dust concentrations in Seoul showed a decline which suggested that correlation between annual average PM concentrations and number of registered vehicles remained low. However, year-on-year vehicle registration rate recently showed a declining tendency in the same way as the trend of changes in average PM concentrations. Particularly, the upward trend in annual average PM concentrations in 2002 and 2007 was consistent with the increase in vehicle registration rate, suggesting that vehicle registration rate was closely associated with changes in PM concentrations.

  • In the last year, the number of registered vehicles in Korea surpassed the 12 million mark, and increase in number continuously Nowdays, this tendency has raised some problems inevitably in the view of expansion of ELV(end of life vehicle) and earth environment pollution resulted from it. For the proper scope with this environment pollution, recycling of parts and materials, minimization of wastes are desirable. And application of disassembly technology is required for it necessarily. Therefore it is essential to study systematically about disassembly technology of ELV with high efficiency for improvement recycling ratio and diminution shredder dust amount also in Korea.

A development of Intelligent Parking Control System Using Sensor-based on Arduino

  • In this paper, for efficient parking control, in an Arduino environment, an intelligent parking control prototype was implemented to provide parking control and parking guidance information using HC-SR2O4 and RC522. The main elements of intelligent parking control are vehicle recognition sensors, parking control facilities, and integrated operating software. Whether the vehicle is parked on the parking surface may be confirmed through sensor or intelligent camera image analysis. Parking control equipment products include parking guidance and parking available display devices, vehicle number recognition cameras, and intelligent parking assistance systems. This paper applies and implements ultrasonic sensors and RFID concepts based on Arduino, recognizes registered vehicles, and displays empty spaces. When a vehicle enters a parking space to handle this function, the automatic parking management system distinguishes the registered vehicle from the external vehicle through the RC522 sensor. In addition, after checking whether the parking slot is empty, the HC-SR204 sensor is displayed through the LED so that the driver can visually check it. RFID is designed to check the parking status of the server in real time and provide the driver with optimal route service to the parking slot.

  • 하이브리드 전기자동차(HEV: Hybrid Electric Vehicle)와 플러그 인 하이브리드 전기자동차 (PHEV: Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)는 화석연료 배출가스를 제거하고 연료경제성을 개선하기 위하여 급속한 속도로 전통적 가솔린 엔진 자동차를 대체할 것이다. 이 리뷰는 병렬 하이브리드 전기자동차를 위한 퍼지로직 제어전략과 최적화를 설명하였다. HEV와 PHEV를 위한 전기모터와 리튬이온 배터리의 최근 발전을 기술하였으며 국제적 학술지에 출판된 논문수와 등록된 특허 수에 근거한 한국의 HEV와 PHEV 기술의 경쟁력 분석도 수행하였다.

수소자동차의 제트화염 발생에 따른 위험성 분석 (Risk Analysis of Jet Flame Occurred at Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle)

  • Eco-friendly policies proposed by the government of The Republic of Korea have encouraged the use of eco-friendly vehicles. Hydrogen vehicles have exhibited the highest growth rate, although the current number of registered vehicles is low. In hydrogen vehicles, a thermally activated pressure relief device (TPRD) is installed to prevent explosions in the hydrogen gas cylinder. When discharged due to low ignition energy, hydrogen gas readily forms a jet flame. The risks induced by such jet flames were analyzed through a numerical analysis. Jet flames can activate TPRDs installed in nearby hydrogen gas cylinders. As a result, high-voltage cables exposed in the lower area of a vehicle can ignite within seconds. There was a 9.5-kW/m2 area around the vehicle (which can result in casualties) at a distance of ~5 m from the hydrogen gas cylinder, and a 37.5-kW/m2 area (which can cause significant damage) in the form of an inverted triangle toward the lower section of the vehicle. We believe that the risk factors analyzed herein should be considered for addressing accidents in hydrogen vehicles.

스마트 차량 관리 시스템을 위한 HSV 색상모델 기반의 키 프레임 추출 기법 (A Key-Frame Extraction Method based on HSV Color Model for Smart Vehicle Management System)

  • 현재 수입차 차량의 등록대수가 해를 거듭할수록 증가하는 추세이다. 그에 맞춰 수입차와 같은 고급 차량을 정비하기 위한 차량 정비 업체의 환경 개선이 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정비 차량의 고객 신뢰도를 제공하기 위한 스마트 차량 관리 시스템을 구현하기 위해 HSV 색상모델 기반의 키 프레임 추출 기법을 제안한다. 수리 차량의 입고 시 차량 번호판 인식 프로세스를 통해 차량의 번호판을 자동으로 인식 후, 이를 기준으로 차량의 수리 이력 확인 및 수리 요청을 처리한다. 차량 수리 동영상을 토대로 차량 수리 키 프레임을 추출하여 사용자의 스마트폰으로 제공하는 서비스를 구현한다. 아울러 제안하는 기법을 스마트 차량 관리 시스템에 적용함으로써 서비스의 우수성을 검증한다. 마지막으로 키 프레임 추출 기법의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 RGB 색상을 HSV 색상으로 변환하여 처리한다. 그 결과 제안된 방법의 키 프레임 추출을 위한 성능 평가에서 기존의 RGB 색상모델보다 HSV 색상모델이 재현율 측면에서 약 30% 더 우수함을 확인하였다.

소형디젤산화촉매의 배출가스 성능평가 (The evaluation of diesel emission reduction characteristics by DOC in light-duty vehicle)

  • In late 1997, the portion of registered light-duty diesel vehicle was 25.3% and its emission rate was 17.1% in Korea. Especially, diesel particulate matters(DPM) and NOx are hazardous air pollutants to human health and environment in urban area. The reduction technologies of exhaust emissions from diesel engines are improvement of engine combustion, fuel quality and development of diesel exhaust after treatment , In this study , a light-duty diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC) that is one of the diesel exhaust after treatment was made for performance evaluation and the emission characteristics were tested on CVS-75 mode. And the analysis of the particle size distribution with scanning mobility particle 100, 67.6% and 66.7, 10.0% for Pt and Pt-V catalyst .And for Pt catalyst, the PM increased 7.8% because of increasing sulfate but Pt-V catalyst reduced the PM to 23.0% . Test results of particle size distribution showed that peak values of number and mass densities are respectively 100∼200nm their distribution trend independent of vehicle speed.

타워크레인의 용접부 비파괴검사 데이터 기반 취약부위 분석 (Analysis of Vulnerable Parts based on Non-destructive Testing Data of Tower Crane Welding Parts)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate vulnerable parts of tower crane structures by analyzing extensive non-destructive test data. Approximately ten percent of domestically registered tower cranes were inspected by using magnetic particle inspection. The testing was carried out as advised in KS B 0213. The non-destructive results was analyzed with respect to jib types, age and crane size. As a result, the number of crack occurrences were the largest in mast parts, followed by main jib part. Moreover, it was found that turntables were important parts deserved to be noticed at the perspective of safe maintenance.
