Over the last five years, relaying or multihop techniques have been intensively researched as means for potentially improving link performance of wireless networks. However, the data rates of relays are often limited because they cannot transmit and receive on the same frequency simultaneously. This limitation has come to the attention of researchers, and recently a number of relay techniques have been proposed specifically to improve the data efficiency of relaying protocols. This paper surveys transmission protocols that employ first single relays, then multiple relays and finally multiple antenna relays. A common feature of these techniques is that novel signal processing techniques are required in the relay network to support increased data rates. This paper presents results and discussion that highlight the advantages of these approaches.

Recently much attention has been paid for interference mitigation technique for the COMA system, since more capacity is available with same bandwidth. In this paper, we introduces a novel adaptive interference suppression techniques for the CDMA system with narrow band interference. The proposed interference rejection scheme employs the adaptive linear prediction techniques in the subband. In each subband, we can more easily find and cancel the narrow band signal as compared to the full band. Thus, the proposed interference rejection can be classified as another time-frequency techniques for the narrow band interference rejection(10). Computer simulation is conducted for the 3-G COMA system with IF band sampling techniques, yielding better interference rejection and bit error rate performance as compared to conventional one. Also, optimum filter is analyzed and from the analysis, it can be shown the subband prediction techniques can suppress narrow band interference more efficiently.

A novel polyacetylene was isolated from Cirsium spp., as well as five known ones, and its chemical structure was determined as heptadeca-1-en-11.13-diyne-8R, 9S, 10R-triol(1) on the basis of spectral data and chemical reactions. $^{1}$H-and $^{13}$C-NMR data of these polyacetylenes were completely assigned by the appfication of 2D-NMR techniques.

오피니언마이닝 기법은 대량의 고개리뷰들에 나타나는 핵심개체 또는 속성들에 대하여 고객들이 느끼는 긍정 또는 부정의 정도를 계산할 수 있지만, 그 분석능력이 단순하다는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 고객리뷰들에 대하여 다차원적으로 분석할 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다. 기존의 OLAP기법을 텍스트 데이터형에 적용할 수 있도록 수정하였다. 다차원 분석모델은 명사축과 형용사축, 문서축으로 구성되는 3차원 공간 개념을 4개의 관계형 테이블로 실체화 한 것이다. 다차원 분석모델은 기존의 오피니언마이닝, 정보요약, 클러스터링 알고리즘들을 융합할 수 있는 새로운 틀이라는 점에서 그 가치가 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 다차원 분석모델과 알고리즘들을 실제로 구현하여 온라인 고객리뷰에 대한 복잡한 분석을 수행할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

In order to synthesize LED phosphor materials, we have applied three novel synthesis techniques, "melt synthesis", "fluidized bed synthesis" and "vapor-solid hybrid synthesis", in contrast with the conventional solid state reaction technique. These synthesis techniques are also a general and powerful tool for rapid screening and improvements of new phosphor materials.

Fabrication of photosensitive carbon nanotubes paste and its post-treatment has been developed for high resolution with good electron emission uniformity. We report novel post-treatment techniques including rubber-rolling and multiple field emission cycling from which we could improve the field emission properties of printed carbon nanotubes. These techniques would be easily applicable to large area field emission display using paste of carbon nanotubes

In this paper, we describe and review the main techniques which are currently being used or studied, in order to synthesise thin films of device-worthy polycrystalline silicon material (poly-Si) on glass or other non-refractory large area substrates. The problems and limitations of the excimer laser processing are first emphasised and some novel or revisited crystallisation processes with good potential for industrialisation are subsequently presented and discussed.
