  • In the North-eastern districts of China, Northern races inherited and developed their own cultural traditions. The housing of northeastern China has been changed under the influence of environment. Some tribes' housings has been developed, keeping their own peculiar style, while others have divested of their ethnic flavor. To understand these aspects of development, this study focused on the housings in Heilongjiang and Nei Monggol. As for the procedure, this study referred to the literature and carried out a field trip at the same time. The housing of northeastern China has undergone the process to fix their residence after the life of migration in common. In this process, northeastern hosing has changed variously and can be grouped into the several types by shape and material. From the point of view about living pattern, some important living features are extracted by the types.

  • To introduce the typical water caves of the northeastern district in China, the Shenyang Water Cave located in the Shenyang city and the Benxi Water Cave located in the Benxi city of the Liaoning province of the northeastern part of China are presented. The caves are very big and long, and the water flows in the cave to drive the motor boat for tourist watching the beautiful sight in the caves through the year. The geological information and the beautiful internal sight of views in the caves are introduced.

  • This paper investigates the migration process of Korean population in Northeastern China since the 19th century, focusing on the population distribution patterns in different time periods which reflect changes and diffusions of diaspora space. Korean migration into Northeastern China seemed to begin from the late 19th century, and can be classified into four different periods including cross-border refugee period (19th to 1910), political exile period(1911-1931), forced migration period(1932-1945), and economic-driven migration period(after 1946). The Korean migration into Northeastern China was closely related to paddy field rice farming by Korean migrants, which can be interpreted as a process of contagious diffusion starting from border area between Korea and China at the early stage. And then, process of hierarchical diffusion occurred along with urban centers on the railways from the 1930s. At the later stage, Korean migration has extended to coastal urban centers, other big cities in China and other countries including Korea since the 2000s. Recently, ethnic Korean communities in China have experienced changes from rural village based community to urban district based community as well as from single-nuclei ethnic structure around Northeastern China toward multi-nuclei ethnic structure extending to coastal urban areas in China.

  • The cathodic hydrogen evolution ability of different pure metals and their long term galvanic corrosion behavior with pure Mg were investigated. The hydrogen evolution ability of pure Ti, Al, Sn and Zr is weak, while that of Fe, W, Cr, and Co is very strong. Initial polarization test could not completely reveal the cathodic behavior of the tested metals during long term corrosion. The cathodic hydrogen evolution ability may vary significantly in the long term galvanic tests for different metals, especially for Al whose cathodic current density reduced to 1/50 of the initial value. The anodic polarization shows that Al and Sn as alloying elements are supposed to provide relatively good passive effect for Mg alloy, while Ag can provide a slight passive effect and Zn has little passive effect.

  • The YBaCuO thick film was deposited by the electrophoresis in the solution with different dimension particles. The morphology of the films deposited from different particles size was compared. The powder made by sol-gel method has the submicron particles, which deposit the most smooth film, and without microcracks after sintering. After sintering of the deposited film, the zone-melting process was carried out in low oxygen partial pressure (100 Pa) and Ag was used as substrate. And the zone-melted YBaCuO was studied by XRD.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the distribution characteristic of tour cave in northeastern Asia. It is examined to use internet homepage to get the status of tour cave in northeastern Asia. First, the total of tour cave is 116 and, in type limestone cave is extremely many. Second, the distribution character by nation has been shown China, Japan and South Korea in sequence. In the type tour cave, China, South Korea and North Korea are more popular with limestone cave while Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong have more marine caves. This study mainly relies on the research of internet homepage. Therefore, after this, activated research about tour cave is needed through comparison and analysis with more concrete statistical data and tourist behaviour by nations

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate Korean distribution enterprises' entry into the Chinese market. By studying Korean companies' strategy and current situation in the Chinese retail market and analyzing Lotte Mart's strategy, this study was aimed at identifying comprehensive strategies for Korean companies striving to expand in China's retail market. Research design, data, and methodology - A case study approach is used, focusing on the three northeastern provinces in China, and examining global firms' entry into the Chinese market. The study employed a direct survey and a literature review. Results - Korean distribution firms' entry into the overseas market is in the inception stage and it should be developed, considering its effects on the national economy and other industries. Conclusion - The cases of E-mart and Lotte Mart, representing Korean distribution firms, showed that they should not rely on scale to succeed in China. Both preliminary analysis and careful strategies are required to ensure success. Considering the high growth potential of the Chinese market, a management strategy that takes account of Chinese people's emotions was needed.

  • In recent years, worldwide surveys of Toxoplasma gondii infection in dogs have been reported. However, only limited surveys of T. gondii infection in police dogs have been available, including China. In the present study, we report the seroprevalence of T. gondii in police dogs in Shenyang, northeastern China. Sera from 291 police dogs were examined for T. gondii antibodies with the modified agglutination test (MAT), and 30.9% animals were tested seropositive. The results of the present study indicated a relatively high prevalence of T. gondii infection in police dogs in Shenyang, China.

  • In order to establish the intensity-magnitude relation far the Korean earthquakes, those relations for the earthquakes in the Sino-Korean craton were estimated. In this process, earthquake data of northeastern China region whose geological environment is similar to Korea Peninsula were also utilized. These data were analyzed not only with linear fit, but also with non-linear fit. The fellowing relation, M=0.57 $\times$ 1$_{e}$ + 2.86, seems appropriate for the present, but its validity should be tested more in the future.e.
