Classical SPC charting methods such as (equation omitted), R, S charts assume high volume manufacturing processes where at least 25 or 30 calibrate samples of size 4 or 5 each can be gathered to estimate the process parameters before on-line charting actually begines. However, for many processes, especially in a job-shop setting, production runs are not necessarily long and charting technique are required that do not that depend upon knowing the process parameters in advance of the run. In this paper, using modifying statistics, we give a method for constructing control charts for the process mean when the measurements are from a normal distribution. In this case, consider that smaller weight being assigned to the older data as time process and properties and taking method of exponential smoothing constant$(\lambda)$ are suggested.

Experiments were performed to estimate the organic release from the aquifer soil in riverbank and/or riverbed filtration via a kinetic approach. Organic release was assumed as a reaction of first order regarding concentrations in both soil and water phases. The reaction rate constants were obtained by comparing the model predictions with the experimental data of organic release reaction and the equilibrium distribution of organic matter between water and soil phases. Results show that the organic release from the aquifer soil was not negligible under normal conditions in Korea reaching 4.7mg-COD/L-day. This indicates that manganese and iron start to be released from aquifer soil in the riverbank filtration in the middle reach of the Nakdong river if the travel time of the filtrate exceeds about 5 days. It was also seen that the COD of the soil organic matter was 0.89mg-COD/mg-OM and that 65% of the COD was BOD5.

In this paper, a 10kVA PV inverter applying Incremental Conductance(IncCond) method for maximum power point tracking WIS developed and its performance tests were carried out. Modeling and simulation of PV array and system controller was performed using PSCAD/EMTDC, an electromagnetic transient analysis program. After comparison and analysis of Perturbation & Observation (P & O) and IncCond method, a PV inverter based on IncCond method was designed and manufactured. Grid interface transient characteristics including start-up, normal operation, and fault operation were tested, which verified the usefulness of the proposed system. In the near future, commercialization process will proceed through additional extensive tests of transients.

As the water supply facilities are recently getting larger, the domestic waterworks become multi-regional water supply system. Large water supply facilities generally consist of the intake pumping station, water treatment plant and water supply/distribution facilities. Although the pumping stations and the pipeline systems are used to pump up water, it often happens pipeline damage and flooding accident by the water hammer. In this paper, the intake pumping station is guaranteed by both the computer simulation and the field test analysis. This study is contributed to the safe operation program for the pumping station in which results of the adjustment on the safety plan of the pumping station, the air valve and the valve closing time.

Magnesium alloys are one of light weight material. Strength and stiffness of Magnesium alloys are enough to use for commercial product. Demand for strong, lightweight parts several computer and electronics have driven much of Magnesium injection molding's growth so far. And it is eighth most abundant resource on earth. In electronic device, electromagnetic interface and electrostatic discharge can affect performance. Magnesium injection molding is similar to normal plastic injection molding process. But some process condition is different. Especially injection speed and process temperature are so differs from other injection molding system. It just start for make something. But Magnesium injection molding is one of best alternate process for producing metal alloy part.

This paper aims at reviewing the possibility application over normal or abnormal, detection used by AE and the characteristics of grinding process. In this study, when diamond bur in dentistry with chosen grinding conditions were tuned at grinding. The variation of grinding resistance and AE signal is detected by the use of AE measuring system. The tests are carried out in accordance with diamond burs and workpiece: arcyl and cowteeth. According to the experiment results, the following can be expected; AE has the possibility to detect the state normality and abnormality. However, the grinding resistance measuring can find it difficult to detect it. It can be accurately excepted from AE occurrence pattern in contact start point of diamond but and cowteeth, grinding condition and derailment point. It is known that AErms is well compatible with grinding resistance.

Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) is an enzymatic ribonucleoprotein that prolongs the replicative life span of cells by maintaining protective structures at the ends of eukaryotic chromosomes. Telomerase activity is highly up-regulated in 85-90% of human cancers, and is predominately regulated by hTERT expression. In contrast, most normal somatic tissues in humans express low or undetectable levels of telomerase activity. This expression profile identifies TERT as a potential anticancer target. By using an RNA mapping strategy based on a trans-splicing ribozyme library, we identified the regions of mouse TERT (mTERT) RNA that were accessible to ribozymes. We found that particularly accessible sites were present downstream of the AUG start codon. This mTERTspecific ribozyme will be useful for validation of the RNA replacement as cancer gene therapy approach in mouse model with syngeneic tumors.

관절경 수술에 있어서 적절한 삽입구를 만드는 것은 수술에 있어서 가장 중요한 시작이며, 이후 수술의 진행 과정을 쉽고 원활하게 할 수 있느냐를 결정짓는 중요한 단계이다. 수술을 하고자 하는 견관절 내를 정확히 검사를 하고, 다음 삽입구를 만드는 데에도 영향을 미치며, 관절 내에서 기구를 조작하는 데에도 영향을 미친다. 정상 구조물 및 병리 해부학적인 지식과 삽입구(portal)에 대한 이해가 관절경 수술을 용이하게 하는데 필수적이다.

Objective: This study was performed to evaluate the effects of venesection on palpebral conjunctiva, on the stoke patients complaint of defective vision. Methods: We studied four selected stroke patients with defective vision which start with stroke. Venesection was performed with syringe needleonce or several times on upper or lower palpebral conjunctiva. After every venesection we washed the eye(s) with normal saline. We evaluated the effects by VAS. Results & conclusion: Venesection on palpebral conjunctiva was efficacious against defective vision occured on the stoke patients. But more clinical & scienific trials are expected to follow this study.
