A numerical model has been developed for the permeable coastal structures to simulate hydraulic characteristics on the permeable slopes, which interact with internal four field the structures. The model includes hydraulics in the porous medium. Numerical model was calibrated using hydraulic model experiments performed in 2-D wave flume in the Institute of Ocean Hydraulics in PKNU. Better aggrements were obtained with the model which employed inertia resistance term than with the conventional model, PBREAK.

Impulsive shooting noise is basically complex phenomenon which contains the linear and non-linear characteristics. For those reasons, numerical analysis of impulsive shooting noise has the difficulties in control of the numerical stability and accuracy on the simulation. In this research, Wave-number Extended Finite Volume Scheme (WEFVS) is applied to the numerical analysis of impulsive shooting noise. In the muzzle blast flow simulation, the generation of the precursor wave and the induced vortex ring are observed. Consequently, blast wave. vortex ring interaction and vortex ring. bow shock wave interaction are evaluated on the shooting process using the accurate and stable scheme. The sound generation in the interactions can be explained by the vorticity transport theorem. The shear layer is evolved behind the projectiles due to the jet flow. In these computations, the impulsive shooting noise is generated by the complex interaction with shooting process and is propagated to the far-field boundary. The impulsive shooting noise generation can be observed by the applications of WEFVS and analyzed by the physical phenomena.

When an automatic course-keeping is concerned as is quite popular in modern navigation the closed-loop steering system consists of autopilot device power unit (or telemotor unit) steering gear magnetic or gyro compass and ship dynamics. The consideration of irregular disturbances to ship dyanmics and a few non-linear mechanisms involved in the system inevitably or artificially are known to be very important in properly evaluating or analyzing the automatic steering system. In the present study the mathematical model of each element of an automatic steering system is derived which takes account of a fex non-linear mechanisms. PD(Proportional-Derivative) controller and low-pass filter with a weather adjustment are adopted to modelling the characteristics of an autopilot. The calculation method of imposing irregular disturbances to ship dynamics is proposed where irregular disturbances implying irregular wave and the fluctuating component of wind. For he evaluation of automatic steering system of ships in the open seas an important term "performance index" is introduced from the viewpoint of energy saving which derived from the concept of energy loss on ship propulsion. Finally the present methods are applied to two typical types of ship ; an ore carrier and a fishing boat. The various effects of linear and/or non-linear control constants of autopilot on propulsive energy loss are investigated to validate and clarify the present smulation technique.

The wave height and period regression curve is widely used to estimate the design wave period. In this study, the parameters of the curves are estimated, compared, and evaluated using the linear, robust linear, and nonlinear regression methods, respectively. The data used in the design wave height estimation are the annual maxima (AM) wave height and period data sets divided by typhoon and non-typhoon conditions, provided by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (2019). The estimation parameters show significant differences in the local coastal waters and the estimation methods. The estimation parameters based on the Suh et al. (2008, 2010) method show the apparent bias, under-estimation in the intercept (scale) parameter, and over-estimation in the slope (exponent) parameter, respectively.

Among various numerical methods of wave transformations including wave breaking by structure, models using VOF(Volume Of Fluid) method to trace free surface are getting into the spotlight recently. In order to analyze wave transformations and velocity of the wave fields due to the permeable submerged breakwater(PSB), This study applied VOF method to the two-dimensional wave channel installed line-source to generate waves and added dissipation zone to offer a non-reflective boundary. Hydraulic experiments was performed to obtain the application of two-dimensional numerical wave channel. The results of numerical experiments using the two-dimensional wave channel agree well with the experimental data. It was shown that vortices are formed behind the PSB, and in case of the 2-rowed PSB they also are occurred in between PSBs, strongly non-linear waves are developed on the crown of the PSB, and the direction of velocities in porous media is determined by the shape of free surface.
The visual evoked potential was electrophysiological method for the identify of the EEG response on visual cortex. This test was objective test method on the eye function. This study was used the visual evoked potential for the objective color test. The subjects was a normal color function in Korean adults. The test condition was performed on the differens distance and illumination. According to convergence condition of color vision target. On the appearance of EEG wave of visual stimulation on visual cortex. The most EEG wave style was delta wave, and the next amount wave form was beta wave and theta wave, and the least EEG wave form was alpha wave. The histogram of amplitude of EEG wave form was almost non-Gaussian shape, and the phase diagram of amplitude was almost all linear shape. On the kinds of color vision target, the frequency of EEG wave style appeared a similar results.
Waves, which are the main source of ship motions in a seaway, considerably affect the performance of a ship. The study of waves and their impact on ship motions within harbors is an important aspect of the design and operation of harbors. The prediction of incoming groups of waves is particularly important for evaluating ship motion within a harbor. Such a prediction makes it possible to evaluate ship safety more accurately. The wave transformation model reported here is applied to actual ports based on Boussinesq wave equations both non-linear and dispersive wave processes be considered in order to capture physical effects such as wave shoaling, refractions, reflection and diffraction in variable depth environments. The prediction of incoming groups of waves is particularly important for evaluating ship motion within a harbor, Such a prediction makes it possible to evaluate ship safety more accurately and provide safe wave informations for navigation. Furthermore, a wave information support system is proposed for entering ships as one technique for improving the safety of ship operations. This system predicts the run of waves and reduces the danger by identifying the most dangerous point near the harbor entrance at the small wave groups.

In order to verify a numerical model for the calculation of wave motion around an offshore barrier in shallow water, laboratory physical experiments are necessary. In this study, sample experiments are carried out on the wave and wave induced current fields due to a sloping bottom topography and on that due to an isolated structure from the coastline. The water body is divided into 4 levels, in which the current tracking floaters are deployed to measure the wave induced currents. Data measurement was continued using the limited wave gauges and current tracking floaters including a video camera from the top. The wave heights for the preselected surface and time-averaged velocity distributions at each level were measured in detail. The distribution of wave and current fields was analyzed precisely combining the whole measured laboratory data. Moreover, comprehensive analyses were carried out on non-linearity of wave transformation in terms of skewness and atiltness.
