사출성형에 있어서 유동주입기구 설계를 위한 지식형 CAD 시스템 (A Knowledge-Based CAD System for Delivery Design in Injection Molding)

  • The design of delivery system is one of the most important subject in injection molding. Delivery system is a channel to flow the polymer melt from the injection molding machine to the mold cavities and affect quality and productivity of the part. The synthesis of delivery system of injection molding has been done empirically, since it requires profound knowledge about the moldability and causal effects on the properties of the part, which are not available to designers through the current CAD systems. A knowledge-based CAD system is constructed by adding the knowledge module to an existing geometric modeler and contains knowledge to permit non-experts ad well as mold design experts to generate the acceptable geometries of gate and runner for injection molded parts.

산양삼(山養蔘) 약침(藥鍼)이 유방암절제술 여성의 심박변이도, 맥파전달속도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Heart Rate Variability, Pulse Wave Velocity in Women of Breast Cancer Patients Care by Mountain Cultivated Ginseng Pharmacopuncture)

  • Objectives: The aim of this experiment is to know the effect of Mountain Cultivated Ginseng Pharmacopuncture on Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Pulse wave velocity (PWV) in Middle Aged Women. Methods: We investigated on 40 women of breast cancer patients. First, we measured their Heart Rate Variability(HRV), Pulse wave velocity (PWV) and then Mountain Cultivated Ginseng Pharmacopuncture $20m{\ell}$ were injected on them. After 30 minutes, we measured Heart Rate Variability(HRV), Pulse wave velocity(PWV) again. As a result, method of non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design were used for evaluation. Results: In HRV, Mean HRV is significantly decreased from 69.15 to 63.34 after injection. Mean RR is significantly increased from 877.20 to 962.10 after injection. SDNN is significantly increased from 32.56 to 41.34 after injection. PNN50 is significantly decreased after injection. RNSSD, SDSD, TP, VLF is significantly increased after injection. Stress Resistance ability is significantly increased from 37.55 to 44.60 after injection. And In PWV, E-R, E-L, H-R, H-L is significantly decreased after injection. Conclusions: Effect of Mountain Cultivated Ginseng Pharmacopuncture on Heart Rate Variability (HRV) increased adaptability of autonomic nervous system and on Pulse wave velocity (PWV) decreased arterial stiffness.

  • The analysis of hole injection efficiency at the p+/n-drift layer junction in non-punchthrough IGBT structure is presented. This analysis takes into account carrier concentration variations by conductivity modulation. Good agreement between this analysis and simulation is found over a wide range of carrier lifetime and current density. The proposed analytical model of the hole injection efficiency as a function of collector width, collector concentration has been verified by device simulator, ATLAS.

  • The unsteady Hartmann flow of an electrically conducting, viscous, incompressible fluid bounded by two parallel non-conducting porous plates is studied with heat transfer. An external uniform magnetic field and a uniform suction and injection are applied perpendicular to the plates while the fluid motion is subjected to a constant pressure gradient. The two plates are kept at different but constant temperatures while the Joule and viscous dissipations are included in the energy equation. The effect of the magnetic field and the uniform suction and injection on both the velocity and temperature distributions is examined.

비전도성 액체의 전기수력학적 미립화를 위한 전하 주입 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Charge Injection to Non-Conducting Liquid for Electrohydrodynamic Atomization)

  • In the present work, a series of experiments have been performed on electro-hydrodynamic atomization of non-conducting liquid using a charge injection type nozzle. Effects of liquid flow rate, input voltage, and distance between the needle and the ground electrode (nozzle-embedded metal plate) have been examined. For fixed electrode distances, total and spray currents increase with the increase of liquid flow rate and input voltage. When the distance between the needle tip and the ground electrode becomes closer, the total, leakage and spray currents increase, while the onset voltage for the dielectric breakdown decreases. When the electric field strength of the liquid jet exceeds that for the air breakdown, a portion of the electric charges in the liquid jet is dissipated into the ambient air, and the charge density shows a limiting value. Atomization quality can be improved by increasing the liquid flow rate due to the higher charge density and the enhanced aerodynamic effect.

CLEAVAGE OF MOUSE OOCYTES AFTER THE INJECTION OF IMMOBILIZED, KILLED SPERMATOZOA

  • Immobilized (killed) mouse spermatozoa or sperm head were microinjected into mouse oocytes matured in vivo and cultured for 72h in vitro. When non-capacitated spermatozoon was injected, oocytes that developed to $${\geq_-}$$ 2-cell and $${\geq_-}$$ 4-cell was 27.8 (15/54) and 3.7% (2/54), respectively. When non-capacitated sperm head was injected. development to $${\geq_-}$$ 2-cell and $${\geq_-}$$ 4-cell was 21.3 (16/75) and 8.0% (6/75), respectively. When capacitated spermatozoon was injected, development to $${\geq_-}$$ 2-cell and $${\geq_-}$$ 4-cell was 21.4 (15/70) and 4.3% (3/70), respectively. When capacitated sperm head was injected, development to $${\geq_-}$$ 2-cell and $${\geq_-}$$ 4-cell was 29.9 (35/117) and 10.3% (12/117), respectively. In contrast, none developed beyond 4-cell in the sham-operated group. The results of this study demonstrated that mouse oocytes matured in vivo can undergo normal appearing cleavage to 4-cell stage by dead-sperm injection. Sperm treatment prior to injection did not affect the ability of mouse oocytes to cleave in vitro.

Calcified Macroplastique Substance: A Rare Cause of Recurrent Gross Hematuria after Endoscopic Injection

  • Endoscopic subureteral injection for treatment of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is known to be safe and efficient due to its minimal invasive nature. Being non-migratory, non-antigenic, and biocompatible, Macroplastique (Polydimethylsiloxane) is likely to be stable over time. A 5-year-old boy with a past history of subureteral administration of Macroplastique for unilateral Grade V VUR 4 years ago presented with recurrent gross and microscopic hematuria, along with suprapubic pain. On computed tomography (CT) abdomen, calcified material, suspected to be a stone, was visualized in the bladder. On diagnostic cystoscopy, calcification was seen around the orifice site where Macroplastique injection had been performed. We removed the calcific material by Holmium laser. Endoscopic subureteric implantation has several advantages, but nevertheless, vigilance is needed to detect long-term complications, especially in patients with gross or microscopic hematuria.

  • 비에스테르화 대두유의 활용 가능성을 평가하기 위해 현재 대부분의 디젤 자동차에 채택되어 있는 전자 제어 분사식 과급디젤기관에 경유, 에스테르화 바이오 디젤유 5% 및 비에스테르화 대두유 5% 혼합유를 사용하여 성능 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 에스테르화 바이오 디젤유 5%와 비에스테르화 대두유 5%의 연소성능이 대부분 비슷하지만 NOx는 비에스테르화한 것이 더 적게 배출되었고 이는 Fuel NO에 의한 것을 밝혔다.

  • Simultaneous effects of $C_2H_4$ injection and heterogeneous chemical reactions on non-thermal plasma process to remove $SO_2$ and NOx from flue gas were investigated in the present experimental study. The present results showed that 40% of the electrical power can be reduced in $C_2H_4$ injection and heterogeneous chemical reaction are simultaneously included in the non-thermal plasma precess. As an effort to apply the non-thermal plasma technique to practical flue gas treatment system, a wire-plate type reactor which has technically similar geometry of industrial electrostatic precipitators is used instead of other types of reactors, such as wire-cylinder, packed-bed and surface discharge which are inappropriate to industrial application. In the present study, the photo pictures of positive streamer corona taken by ICCD camera, voltage and current oscillograms, and design criteria of a wire-plate type reactor are also shown, which are needed for industrial application of the non-thermal plasma process.

수치모델을 활용한 지하수 인공함양 대상지의 적정 주입량 및 주입효율 예비 평가 (Preliminary Evaluation of the Optimal Injection Rate and Injection Efficiency of Groundwater Artificial Recharge Site Using Numerical Model)

  • 본연구에서는 가뭄이 빈번히 발생하는 지류 상류 지역에서 농번기에 부족한 물을 확보하기 위하여 평상시 잉여의 물을 지하 대수층에 주입하는 인공함양 방식을 설계함에 앞서 적정 주입량 및 주입효율을 수치모델을 활용하여 평가하고자 하였다. 인공함양 수치모델 대상지역은 홍성군 갈산면 운곡리 일대를 대상으로 하였으며 다양한 공당 주입량 조건과 대수층의 수리적 특성을 고려하여 모델링을 수행한 결과, 연구지역의 공당 적정주입량은 50.0 ㎥/day/공로 평가되었으며 주입효율은 총 주입용량 대비 33.2~81.2%로 예측되었다. 특히, 주입효율은 주입시간이 짧을수록 비선형으로 증가하는 양상을 보였으며 잔류 저류용량은 총 주입용량이 많을수록 증가하여 물부족 시 사용 가능량이 많아지므로 보다 유리할 것으로 보였다. 향후 보다 정확한 함양효율 평가를 위해 현장 실증시험 결과를 활용하여 모델을 검증하고 이를 통해 주입 및 취수에 대한 적정 시나리오를 구축한다면 보다 효율적인 인공함양 시스템의 운영이 가능할 것이다.
