We have developed a dual control algorithm by means of innovations approach and established the stability of dual by introducing the pole-placement method suggested by Berger on the non-dual control. The dual controller realizing this algorithm decreases control loss sharply when compared with that of a non-dual controller, and shows the characteristics of suppressing the output deviation in transient state effectively. The total control energy and the accumulated square misdistance of this dual controller are shown to be 1-10% and 0.1-10% of those of CE control, respectively. Consequently this controller solves the non-minimum phase problem encountered when discretizing the system equation, and can be used to overcome the uncertainty of system effectively by adjusting the learning rate of the controller.
The optimization of active bars' placement and feedback gains of closed loop control system for random intelligent truss structures under non-stationary random excitation is presented. Firstly, the optimal mathematical model with the reliability constraints on the mean square value of structural dynamic displacement and stress response are built based on the maximization of dissipation energy due to control action. In which not only the randomness of the physics parameters of structural materials, geometric dimensions and structural damping are considered simultaneously, but also the applied force are considered as non-stationary random excitation. Then, the numerical characteristics of the stationary random responses of random intelligent structure are developed. Finally, the rationality and validity of the presented model are demonstrated by an engineering example and some useful conclusions are obtained.

The present paper utilizes auxiliary information to neutralize the effect of non-response for estimating the population mean. Improved ratio type estimators for population mean have been proposed and their properties are studied. These estimators are suggested for both single phase sampling and two phase sampling in presence of non-response. Empirical studies are conducted to validate the theoretical results and demonstrate the performance of the proposed estimators. The proposed estimators are shown to perform better than those used by Cochran (Sampling Techniques (3rd ed), John Wiley & Sons, 1977), Khare and Srivastava (In Proceedings-National Academy Science, India, Section A, 65, 195-203, 1995), Rao (Randomization Approach in Incomplete Data in Sample Surveys, Academic Press, 1983; Survey Methodology 12, 217-230, 1986), and Singh and Kumar (Australian & New Zealand Journal of Statistics, 50, 395-408, 2008; Statistical Papers, 51, 559-582, 2010) under the derived optimality condition. Suitable recommendations are put forward for survey practitioners.
The purpose of this study aimed to know the association between seven health practices and self rated health by Sasang constitution. We recruited 367 subjects aged from 30 to 59. KS 15 questionnaire was used to classify Sasang constitution and visual analogue scale was used to estimate self rated health. Chi-square test was used to know the difference of occupation distribution by Sasang constitution. Anova test, T-test and Chi-square test also used to analyze the difference of self rated health between the health practice group and non-health group in individual Sasang constitution. SPSS 21.0K was used and significant p was <.05. Regular morning meal, non-snaking, good sleeping and sufficient exercise had higher self rated health score (p<.05). Regular morning meal, good sleeping and sufficient exercise had higher score in Tae-eumin (p<.05). Good sleeping had higher self rated health score in Soeumin and Soyangin (p<.05). These results suggest there is possibility that health practices for health promotion could be different according to Sasang constitution.

This article derives an analytic solution to determine the optimal size of multiple noncontinuous process and storage units. The total cost to be minimized consists of the setup cost of noncontinuous processing units and the inventory holding cost of feedstock/product storages. A novel approach, which is called PSW(Periodic Square Wave) model, is applied to represent the material flow among non-continuous units and storages. PSW model presumes that the material flow between unit and storage is periodic square wave shaped. The resulting optimal unit size has similar characteristics with the classical economic lot sizing model such as EOQ(Economic Order Quantity) or EPQ(Economic Production Quantity) model in a sense that the unit size is determined as the balance between setup and inventory holding cost. However, the influence of inventory holding cost of PSW model is different from that of EOQ/EPQ model. EOQ/EPQ model includes only the product inventory holding cost but PSW model includes all inventory holding costs around the non-continuous unit with proportional contribution. PSW model is suitable for analyzing interlinked process-storage system. The optimal lot size of PSW model is smaller than that of EOQ/EPQ model. This is quitea remarkable result considering that the EOQ/EPQ model has been is widely used since last half century.
To improve the ability to determine a vehicle's movement information even in a challenging environment, a hybrid approach called non-Gaussian square rootunscented particle filtering (nGSR-UPF) is presented. This approach combines a square root-unscented Kalman filter (SR-UKF) and a particle filter (PF) to determinate the vehicle state where measurement noises are taken as a finite Gaussian kernel mixture and are approximated using a sparse Gaussian kernel density estimation method. During an outage-free GPS period, the updated mean and covariance, computed using SR-UKF, are estimated based on a GPS observation update. During a complete GPS outage, nGSR-UPF operates in prediction mode. Indeed, because the inertial sensors used suffer from a large drift in this case, SR-UKF-based importance density is then responsible for shifting the weighted particles toward the high-likelihood regions to improve the accuracy of the vehicle state. The proposed method is compared with some existing estimation methods and the experiment results prove that nGSR-UPF is the most accurate during both outage-free and complete-outage GPS periods.
The conventional non-dig underground structure building method which made an appearance to reduce the social and environmental costs and maximize the efficiency of the social overhead capital facilities could not help being uneconomical because of many problems such as unnecessary excessive excavation, water leakage, obstacle interference, difficulty of curvilinear application and connection complexity between propelled and injected bodies due to indiscriminate application of small and large circular steel pipes without consideration of the site conditions. The T.S.T.M, in which a protruded square tube is applied as a propulsion and injection body in a design that considered site conditions such as ground condition, depth of soil and live load, was able to be economical as it solved the problems of water resistance, minimization of obstacle interference and curvilinearity, and we can see that it can be applied to all grounds by utilizing or complementing the target ground in terms of engineering. Also in configuring the transverse section, it is possible to not only secure excellent structural safety but also implement all of the above engineering characteristics not only in the square cross section but also in the arch cross section, so it was possible to build structures on any section or ground, and we could confirm the LCC reduction effect and the VE effect.
This study investigated differences in cosmetic buying behavior and personal characteristics between cosmetic involvement groups. Cosmetics buying behavior refers to reason for using cosmetics, use of information sources, selection criteria, place of purchase, use/non-use of cosmetics, purchase propensity, purchase frequency, purchase amount, and satisfaction with cosmetics. Personal characteristic contains pursuing image, age, residence area, job, and average household monthly income. Data was collected from 5-10 December 2016, from 308 females in their 20s using an internet survey. The analysis included descriptive statistics, t-tests, Mann-Whitney U tests, and chi-square tests. The respondents were divided into two groups (a high cosmetic involvement group and a low cosmetic involvement group) according to the degree of cosmetic involvement. The results of t-tests revealed significant differences between groups in terms of reasons for using cosmetics, use of information sources, selection criteria, purchase frequency, place of purchase, use/non-use of cosmetics, and satisfaction with cosmetics. The results of Mann-Whitney U tests highlighted a significant difference in purchase frequency between both groups. The results of chi-square tests indicated significant differences in purchase frequency, purchase amount, pursuing image, and average household monthly income. However, no significant differences were evident in terms of purchase propensity, age, job, and area of residence between groups.
The complexation reaction between Pb2+,TI and Cd2+ions and macrocyclic ligands, 18-crown-6 ( 18C6) and dibenzo- 18-crown-6 (DB 18C6), was studied in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)-nitromethane (NM) and dimethyl-formamide (DMF)-nitromethane binary system s by square wave polarography (SWP) technique. The stoichiometry and stability of the complexes were determined by monitoring the shifts in half-waves or peak potentials of the polarographic waves of metal ions against the Iigand concentration. In most cases, the stability constants of complexes increase with increasing amounts of the nitromethane in mixed binary solvents used in this study. The complexes formed between 18C6 and DB18C6 and these metal cations in all cases had a stoichiometry of 1 : 1. The results obtained show that there is an inverse relationship between the formation constant of complexes and the donor number of solvents based on a Gatmann donocity scale and the stability constants show a high sensitivity to the composition of the mixed solvent systems. A linear behavior was observed for variation of log Kf of I8C6 complexes vs the composition of the mixed solvent systems in NM/DMSO and NM/DMF,but a non-linear behavior was observed in the case of DB 18C6 complexes in these binary systems. In most of the systems investigated, the Pb2+ cation forms a more stable complex with the 18C6 than other two cations and the order of selectivity of this Iigand for cations is: Pb2+ > TI+,Cd2+.

In this paper, I was applied the life distribution following linear failure rate distribution, Lindley distribution and Burr-Hatke exponential distribution extensively used in the arena of software reliability and were associated the reliability possessions of the software using the nonhomogeneous Poisson process with finite failure. Furthermore, the average value functions of the life distribution are non-increasing form. Case of the linear failure rate distribution (exponential distribution) than other models, the smaller the estimated value estimation error in comparison with the true value. In terms of accuracy, since Burr-Hatke exponential distribution and exponential distribution model in the linear failure rate distribution have small mean square error values, Burr-Hatke exponential distribution and exponential distribution models were stared as the well-organized model. Also, the linear failure rate distribution (exponential distribution) and Burr-Hatke exponential distribution model, which can be viewed as an effectual model in terms of goodness-of-fit because the larger assessed value of the coefficient of determination than other models. Through this study, software workers can use the design of mean square error, mean value function as a elementary recommendation for discovering software failures.
